Recap of last weeks events.

Backstage: Eugene is walking to the ring, when Regal stops him, he tries to convince Eugene to not go ahead with this match. Regal asks to go with him, but Eugene says he needs to stand on his own two feet.

Hardcore Rules Match: Gene Snitsky vs. Eugene
For some reason, JR and King hype this up like this is Eugene's first NoDq type match, so we just forgetting the match with Triple H in Septemeber? Snitsky coming to the ring pushing a baby carriage full of weapons is great, this is short at like 4 minutes, but it's way better than last week, just because of the weapons use and Snitsky beating Eugene up with a chain. Eugene fights back but it rarely has any effects. Snitsky hits the pump handle slam for the win. *1/4

After the match; Snitsky tries to Pillmanize Eugene's throat like he did to Kane, but Regal runs out and punches Snitsky in the ribs with the brass knuckles forcing Snitsky to bails.

In a pre-tape, Triple H says last week he was ganged up on and was attacked by a large number of RAW superstars. An attack that can be described of jealousy and envy. He says to anyone involved, did you do the right thing attacking the world champion? attacking the draw of the show? He says he's the reason people are here, and he puts food on their families' tables. He says he's not going to be there tonight, and they'll see how Raw does without its franchise and #1 star. He says next week, when he comes back, he better come back to the star reception he deserves, and it's time everyone realizes there's only one diamond in this business, and without him, Raw is nothing.

Backstage: Maria former Diva Search contestant makes her debut She interviews Tajiri, Tajiri says they are mad as hell, and not going to take it anymore. They don't care if they never see him again, and Ric Flair comes over. He tries to shake his hand to show there are no hard feelings, but Batista assaults Tajiri from behind throwing him into one of the RAW box container things.

Ric Flair and Batista come down to the ring, Flair says what happen to Tajiri was just the beginning, last week was unacceptable, whether you like him or don't you all need to respect Triple H. He is the World Champion, leader of Evolution. Flair calls Eric out to restore order to RAW or he and Batista will destroy the entire locker room. Eric Bischoff comes out and says he's here for two reasons, business and personal. He says for Business, with Survivor Series being 2 weeks away he's here to announce the RAW side. Christian vs. Shelton, for the IC title, Trish vs. Lita for the Woman's title and in the Main Event it will be the classic traditional Survivor Series Elimination match on one team. It will be Jericho, Benoit, Maven & Randy Orton vs. Triple H, Batista, Edge & Snitsky. Flair gets pissed his name is left out, Eric says this brings him to the personal part, he says Flair might not have liked how things went last week, but he did, unless he personally wants to see a match, he'll continue to let the inmates run the asylum. He says normally he'd listen to Evolution, but asks when he was getting his head shaved, Evolution was nowhere to be found after he's kissed their ass for the last 2 years, so from now on, he answers to nobody but him. And after Survivor Series he's going on vacation for a month, and the winning team at Survivor Series, they'll get control of Raw, with each man on the winning team getting control for a week. Batista says if other guys won all they would do is challenge for the World Title, except Orton. Batista says he strongly suggest Eric take that back, Eric refuses and says he better concentrate on his team winning. Eric says Triple H might say Raw is nothing without him, but without that title, Triple H is nothing. BABYFACE ERIC!!!!!

Christian vs. The Hurricane
This isn't much, outside...................OF EDGE RETURNING AND DEBUTING THE Alter Bridge. Edge comes out and talks about the book for two minutes, and not being voted into Taboo Tuesday. The camera pans to him more than the match so fuckit. Christian wins after Edge leaves with the Unprittier.

After the match; Shelton runs out but Christian bails to the floor, he grabs a mic and says Shelton stole his votes at Taboo Tuesday, he says he knows that he knows Tomko is hurt. But for him tonight he's got a one night only PROBLEM SOLVER.......Viscera. As Visc comes down to the ring, Christian attacks Shelton from behind and Visc lays him out with the Big Splash.

Backstage: Todd Grisham interviews Edge, he asks if Edge is willing to team with Benoit to defend his tag titles? Edge says yes, he's back and better than ever. Edge says if Benoit can beat La Resistance on his own, imagine what he can do with the most successful tag wrestler ever, 11-time tag team champion. Benoit comes over, and Edge grabs one of his titles. Benoit asks who the hell he thinks he is, and Edge says he's the man who SHOULD be World Champion right now, and if Benoit doesn't watch it, he'll defend those titles by himself. Benoit says that'd be just fine, and he walks off.

Backstage: Maven goes into Evolutions dressing room, and says if they thought what they did to Tajiri was funny, Batista should remember what happened last week. Batista takes his glasses off, as Flair yells that nobody comes in here and talks to them like that, but Randy Orton & Chris Jericho also walk in behind them. Jericho says Flair was right last week, and there is strength in numbers, and Jericho challenges them to take out the locker room right now. Orton says they shouldn't worry about fighting everyone else when they have to get past Survivor Series, and says when they control Raw, Evolution may not even have a future.

In the ring, Simon Dean makes his debut. IT ENDS WITH SIMON BEATING UP A FAN!

WWE World Tag Team Championships: La Resistance vs. Chris Benoit & Edge
Benoit showcase, he beats the shit out of these fucks and then bumps his ass off for them. Edge doesn't come out to start the match so it's 2-1. Edge does eventually come out and hop on the apron. Benoit goes to tag out, but Edge hops off the apron and joins commentary to promote his book some more. Resistance are still 101 heeling it up, so Benoit beats the shit out of them. He goes to end the match but Edge runs down to the ring distracting the ref, allowing La Resistance to hit Au Revoir and cover Benoit for the win.

After the match; Edge hit Benoit with one of the title belts and throws it back to Conway, Benoit is now busted open, so Edge begins attacking the cut in tremendous fashion. Benoit tried to fight back, but Edge hit him with the Spear. Benoit gets back to his feet, so Edge keeps punching at the cut, before locking in Benoit own Crippler Crossface.....AND BENOIT TAPS!

Backstage: Flair and Batista barge into Eric's office, Flair asks if he's gone crazy? Eric says it sounds like he's not that confident in his team, but Flair says these guys should be punished right now, and demands that Eric rethink this stipulation, because these guys have no business potentially running Raw. Eric refuses and says his vacation plans are set, and the stipulations stand. But if they want punishment, it'll be Orton/Jericho/Maven vs. Flair/Batista/Triple H TONIGHT! Batista says Hunter isn't even here, and Eric says he's not buying it, and nobody else is, and if he's not lying for once, it's their problem.

Viscera vs. Shelton Benjamin
Shockingly great, yeah. Shelton selling the ribs is great, and Visc who doesn't do anything outside using his fat as a weapon to slam into Shelton looked somewhat brutal. YEAH! Shelton's offense is just punches, he does hit the stinger splash but hurts himself cause wrestler's don't use logic. Christian comes out to watch, but Shelton rakes the eyes and hits the Dragon whip kick for the win. **1/2 - **3/4

After the match; Christian jumps Shelton from behind again, but Shelton hits the T-Bone Suplex and Christian rolls to the floor.

SMACKDOWN REBOUND!

Trish Stratus comes down to the ring, she says she is here tonight to address her friends and family who have been worried sick since finding out she has to face Lita. Cause they know her life could be in jeopardy. And they might be right. Trish shows a video called "LITA! THE WALKING KISS OF DEATH" It's a video package shows Lita as the killer of careers from Essa Rios, to the Hardyz breaking up, Matt and Kane in 2004 Trish says she sees the concerns, but tells them not to be, because above all else, Lita is a loser, and at Survivor Series, she'll lose again just like she lost her nerve and lost her baby. Lita comes out and beats on Trish, but Gail comes down for the save. They beat Lita down and Trish kicks her in the belly first and hits the chic kick leaving Lita laid out.

NEXT WEEK: CHRIS BENOIT vs. EDGE

Chris Jericho, Maven & Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair & Batista
Triple H doesn't come out, so it's a Handicap match. Orton/Batista, Orton/Flair, Jericho/Flair, Jericho/Batista all rules. Maven is still a sack of shit, and it just here for some tough enough promotion bullshit and with Shawn being hurt. Thankfully Maven never tags in. This is basically the faces outcheating Flair and doing all the heel stuff to him behind the refs back so that rules. Batista has finally seen enough and pulls Flair to his corner, he beats the dog shit out of Jericho who does his shitty version of the hard Irish whip corner bump. The match breaks down, with Orton getting the hot tag, he cleans house as Flair and Batista try to leave. TRIPLE H'S MUSIC HITS!!!!!.......................................BUT IT'S TAJIRI IN TRIPLE H'S T-SHIRT! WEARING A BLONDE WIG the faces roll Evolution back into the ring, where Maven hits a Flying Bulldog on Batista, Jericho follows up with the Lionsault, and Orton finishes him off with an RKO for the win. **1/2

After the match; Batista is so irate he shoves Flair to the mat.

Earlier Today, the tough enough contestants run suicide sprint drills in the parking lot, followed by eating pasta and milk.

The contestants along with Al Snow are in the ring, Snow brings out Kurt Angle IT'S HAPPENING! Kurt gets in all their faces and tries to punk them out. He tells Puder he better pray he doesn't make it Kurt says they think standing up to the Big Show makes them tough, well it doesn't. He calls this his ring and says what they did today was a day off. He says they stand her at a chance at winning a Million dollars, and for that, he hates each and everyone one of them. He says the real competition starts NOW. Kurt does 6 squash trusts, he says the man who wins gets a special prize. And people that quit have to stand on the floor. Snow starts the count and they all fuck it uplmao Kurt gets pissed and threatens them so they cut to a recap of last week.

They finally get it right, Justice is first out, Nick is next, RYBAK, Chris, Daniel, Mike, Puder are all eliminated and the winner is Chis Nawrocki. Kurt congratulates him and says his prize is having his first match tonight against. HIM!

All off of 20 seconds, Kurt amateur wrestles him and gets a quick three.

After the match; Kurt challenges anyone on the floor, and Puder accepts

Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Puder
THIS IS THE INFORMAS MATCH! WHERE PUDER MORE THAN HOLDS HIS OWN AGAINST KURT, HE MANAGES TO GET LURT DOWN AND TRIES A KEY-LOCK! AND ALMOST INTO A KIMURA. HE WRENCHES THE FUCK OUT OF KURT'S ARM ALMOST BREAKING IT SO THE REFS COUNT HIS SHOULDERS DOWN

After; Daniel goes to shake his hand, but Kurt gets right up in his face and calls him "FUCKING STUPID" He tells him to leave the ring and tells the rest of the contestants they are not good enough.

Backstage: Josh Mathews is with JBL and OJ, Josh says OJ already lost to Booker last week and doesn't think the results will differ this week so JBL slaps the ever living shit out of him this is by far the greatest 20 minutes of Smackdown this whole year. JBL says to treat Mr. Jordan with respect, OJ says he's the greatest and will beat him up. Josh says he's sick and tired of this, he says OJ's head isn't in the game it too far up JBL's ass and leaves.

Booker T vs. Orlando Jordan (w/John Bradshaw Layfield)
Thankfully, this isn't 18 minutes and 50 seconds. This is pretty pointless and just an angle match, they go back and forth hitting strikes and moves until JBL has seen enough and enters the ring for the DQ. JBL hits Booker with a Clothesline from hell and leaves.

Backstage: Spike says he has a plan to eliminate the Big Show tonight.

Backstage: Josh tells Theodore he's sorry about what happened, when Booker barges in, he says he wants JBL and OJ tonight. Long says he's playing into their hands, and to think about his title match in 10 days. Booker says he doesn't care bout all dat, Long says he won't okay a handicap match but if he finds himself a partner he has his match. Josh asks to be his partner. Booker accepts.

Spike, Bubba, and D-Von are in the ring, Spike is standing on a table and calls The Big Show out. Show comes out, and Spike spits on him. The Dudleyz attack and hit the 3D. They set up a table next to the other, chokeslams both Dudleyz through tables but Spike bails to the back.

Backstage: Kurt, Luther, and Mark are talking when they see Carlito and Jesus in the corner, they go over and offer Carlito the 4th spot on team Kurt. Carlito bites the apple and accepts the spot.

RAW REBOUND!

Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam vs. Luther Reigns & Mark Jindrak
SMACKDOWN is back to being the shit show Rey is super on early, and RVD isn't a total fuck up even though his timing on stuff is just a mess. Luther and RVD have a god awful interaction period, Rey's doesn't really have a hot tag and they go right into isolating him. Rey does what he can bumping for them, but Luther is just so bad and Jindrak is just Orton 2002 lite so it's not all bad. The only real highlight was Taz shitting on Cole for not knowing Luther boot size cause JR would know it. RVD's hit tag is meh, more badly time strikes and not totally connecting with moves, like this mother does the split leg moonsault every match, and I think he's connected properly on it maybe 6 times. The match breaks down, Rey hits a 619 to Luther and Mark and RVD hits the Frog Splash to Jndrak for the win. **1/2

Carlito and Jesus come out, they get up all in RVD and Rey face when Carlito spits an apple in RVD's face, they roll them back in the ring for the 4-2 assault, but Eddie runs down with a chair and cleans house.

Backstage: Theodore Long is with Eddie Guererro, Long tells Eddie that Rey is off his team he says he already had him booked in a match at Survivor Series a Fatal 4 way for the Cruiserweight championship. He says he was gonna tell him, but Eddie picked his team too fast. Eddie asks what that means for him, Long tells him to find a 4th and has until next week.

Dawn Marie and Miss Jackie come out for an arm wrestling competition. It doesn't happen so we get the token CATFIGHT! Haas comes out on crutches. BUT HEIDENRICH COMES OUT AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM WITH HIS OWN CRUTCH! He keeps hammering at the knee with the crutch. Jackie slaps him, so Heidenreich pie faces her and goes back to beating up Haas until Heyman comes out yelling he's gonna get fired. He hits Haas with a tombstone and does the Taker pin.

On the stage, the tough enough contestants are on the stage with their shirts off. Chris Nawrocki has his ribs taped up. Voting is now open. BLAH! Torrie Wilson comes out in her bra and panties on, she says next week the guys will be put to the ultimate test. She says they all will be taking the Torie Willson SEX TEST!

John Bradshaw Layfield & Orlando Jordan vs. Booker T & Josh Mathews
Smartly laid out, JBL and OJ beat take out Booker on the floor and take turns beating on Josh in the ring, they keep knocking Booker off the apron and toying with Josh, I like that they don't try to pin him just punk and beat the shit out of him. OJ debuts his smurf VERSION OF SHADOW BOXING! Booker gets in and cleans house, he hits the bookend on both JBL and OJ and hits OJ with the scissors kick for the win. **1/4

The show opens with Batista and Triple H already in the ring, Triple H is already talking. He says he's back, and that is gonna spell problems to a lot of people around here. He says he sat out last week to teach some people a lesson, but some people took that as an invitation to attack Evolution. He says Flair was injured last week, so he's not here. Hunter blames Eric Bischoff, so he comes out and says with all due respect if he was Triple H he would just accept the stipulation of the Survivor Series match, Hunter then grabs Eric by his jacket. Eric says if he keeps this up, he'll be forced as the GM to strip him of the title. Eric gets up and again tells them to focus on the Survivor Series match and should be more worried about keeping his World Title. He says he's bored of talking about this, so they'll begin the opening match now.

Batista (w/Triple H) vs. Randy Orton
Decent feeling out process to start, they go back and forth with Orton getting the better everytime, brawling or wrestling. This feels weird like something just isn't clicking, the transitions are weird, Batista works a headlock on Randy, which is cool cause he's seen Orton utilize it all year. Triple H interferes mid-way through Orton's comeback, so the ref ejects him, Batista is irate again so he kills Orton with the knockout Lariat. He keeps working the head and neck, good power moves followed by holds. Sadly Orton doesn't sell like at all, but his bumping is so good. He takes the ringpost shoulder spot, but the momentum takes him all the way to the floor and he knocks him "head" off the ring steps. Batista locks in the body scissors headlock, but Orton fights out and makes another comeback. Orton hits his crossbody for two, and begins punching the shit and biting Batista in the corner to the point of Batista having a cut on his head. He goes for the RKO but he gets shoved off into the Spinebuster. Batista bomb gets countered into a sunset flip for two, he then does the flashy corner roll-off Batista's back into a schoolboy for the win. **3/4

Tonight: Highlight Reel with Trish and Lita.

Backstage: Team Orton are talking, but BATISTA RUNS OVER AND TRIES TO ATTACK ALL OFF THEM AT ONCE agents and refs have to pull them apart.

Tyson Tomko (w/Christian) vs. Shelton Benjamin
Short and right to the point, Tomko is above his usual mediocoreness and Shelton bumps big for him. Christian tries to get involved by he gets superkicked off the apron and hits the T-Bone on Tomko for the win.

SMACKDOWN REBOUND!

The Highlight Reel is set up in the ring, Jericho brings out both Trish and Lita. Trish asks Jericho what was his thinking having Lita on, didn't he watch her video last week? and says just like Dark Angel, having Lita on, his show will also get canceled. Jericho says well, i guess having her on his subscribtion to better hoes and garden tools will now be canceled too. Trish says Lita is too crazy, and white she was out getting FAT and making babies, she was in her making history. Lita says she's been dreaming the past 7 months finally getting her hands on her. She says every emotion she has in her, will come out this Sunday and she will take it out on her. She says she is the Kiss of Death, so Trish better pucker up. GENE SNITSKY COMES OUT HOLDING A BABY DOLL! Which is making crying sounds. He tells it to shut up, but it won't stop crying. Gene enters the ring and says Lita shouldn't be worried. He asks her to hold the baby, but at the last second takes it away. THE THE GREATEST MOMENT OR MAYBE TOP 3 MOMENT IN ALL OF RAW 2004 HAPPENS.

Lita is horrified, so Snitsky moves in on her, he shoves Jericho but Jericho fights him off. They brawl on the floor, but Jericho gets booted in the face. Snitsky then rams Jericho into the ring post spine first.

Simon Dean is in the ring, WHY THE FUCK ARE WE DOING BACK TO BACK IN RING SEGMENTS? He makes fun of some fat fucks in the crowd before bringing some fat chick into the ring. He rips her about when the last time she got laid and says her fans properly hang around her to make them feel better. She then throws the Simon beverage in his face, so he chases her to the floor and dumps his Simon juice over her. FUCKIN' 12 MINUTES OF MY LIKE I'LL NEVER GET BACK!

Triple H comes down for his match, Tajiri also makes his entrance, but on the ramp Snitsky attacks him from behind. He beats him down on the for and leaves him laid out, Hunter grabs the mic and says that was impressive and tells him to bring that intensity to Survivor Series it's a done deal. He goes to shake his hand but Gene refuses, he grabs the mic and says he's not much of a team player, so when they win it's gonna be because of him, and he will be coming after that World Heavyweight Title.

Muhammad Hassan says everything was good until 9/11, he says you look at him differently and judge him off that and not on his talent.

SURVIVOR SERIES HYPE!

Lawler gets the crowd to chant "OU SUCKS" cause yeah.

Backstage: Maria interviews Edge, Edge says he made his debut here in Austin and last week he made Benoit bleed and tap out to his own move. He says all the years of anger and frustration was lifted at that moment. It came back over the last week, so he's going to beat up Chris Benoit tonight to get that feeling back. Triple H comes over and says he's glad Edge finally sees the light and says it'll be good to see him on his side of the ring rather than across the ring, HE says they need to keep an eye on Snitsky, who says he's not a team player. Edge says he heard it, and Snitsky's wrong. Because when they win, it'll be because of HIM, and when it's his turn to run Raw for a week, he'd be the one coming for the belt.

Backstage: Triple H is ranting to Batista about Edge and Snitsky not being team players, and says Batista needs to have a talk with them before Survivor Series, and straighten them out. He says sure, and Hunter leaves. Batista looks to the side and sees that Triple H left the World Title. He picks it up and looks at it before looking in the direction where Hunter left. OH SHIT!

Christy Hemme comes out to be the guest ring announcer.

Edge vs. Chris Benoit
FUCK YEAH! Edge and Benoit meet on the floor and swing blindly at one another. Benoit gets the better and proceeds to beat the ever living shit out of Edge with chops, forarms, brutal knees and suplexes. It's not quite as amazing domination like he did against Orton the night after SSlam but it's still awesome. Edge whether the storm and pulls Benoit to the floor using his tights. He baseball slides Benoit to the ribs and takes over. He works the mid-section/lower back viciously, tons of clubbing blows and just hate filled strikes. Midway through the match, Triple H and Batista come down to the ring, but they quickly joined by Jericho, Orton, and Maven. Snitsky doesn't come out to prove his point. Edge continues to dominate with suplexes. He takes too long getting to the top rope, which allows Benoit to recover and hits 6 vicious headbutts before Superplexing Edge off the top. More awesome strikes and Benoit makes his comeback. He beats on Edge in and out of the ring, even catapulting Edge into the steel steps who takes a phenomenal bump off them. Benoit continues ramming Edge's head into the steps busting Edge open for revenge. Benoit locks in the Sharpshooter but Edge makes it to the ropes, he hits the triple rolling German's and connects with the Diving Headbutt for two. He quickly locks in the Crossface, but Hunter pulled the ref out to cause a no contest. ***1/4

Everyone begins fighting, and Snitsky runs from the back to put the boots to Benoit. Maven gets taken out too. Hunter and Edge get in and they argue about the world title. Batista comes in to cool things down, but the faces attack and clean house to end RAW.

RAW is so good again, well 89% of it.

She says the rules are each of them have 15 seconds to make out with a WWE diva, and the ladies will judge with the winner getting the chance to win a prize. Torrie brings out Dawn Marie to tease them, but SWERVE! IT'S MAE YOUNG! Puder makes out with her, Justice picks her up and dry humps her against the ropes. Mae leaps into Daniel Rodimer and makes out with her. RYBACK! Rolls on the mat with her, and so does Mike who spanks her. Nawrocki tries to motorboat her. FUCK IS THIS?!?!?! Mae declares Puder the winner. Dawn brings in a chair and has Mae young grind on him.

Tonight: Eddie/RVD vs. Jindrak/Luther, and Kurt/Show

Spike Dudley & Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero & Rey Mysterio
Rey is his usual dope self, as everyone else is pretty meh. Kidman has some solid moments but then he goes back to being Kidman. Spike is trash as a heel and Chavo's face work isn't on par to what it use to be in 2003. Heat on Chavo was meh, Rey's hot tag is the usual. The match breaks down and Rey hits the 619 on Spike and hits the splash off the top for the win. **1/4

Backstage: OJ goes up to Josh, and says he's here to apologize. He says Josh earned his and JBL's respect. OJ says until that match last week, he didn't even look at Josh as a man. OJ grabs his hand and slaps him upside his jaw and leaves.

Backstage: Josh and Booker are in Theodore's office, Josh now is bleeding from the nose. He says he wants OJ in a match tonight. Booker puts the battery in his back to have Booker in his corner tonight. T.Long books the match.

Backstage: Team Eddie are talking, RVD and Show are, Eddie is frustrated in the background. He says he can't help but to think the PPV is only 3 days away and only 3 of them. RVD says he called him and HE will get back to him. Relax.

OJ does shit, it's garbage juice, it goes on far too long. JBL provokes Booker on the floor so Booker hits him with the Harlem sidekick taking him out. JBL gets on the apron out of protest, so Booker sneaks into the ring where Josh low blows OJ and Booker hits the scissors kick. Josh covers and wins. LOL!

It's sad that it's getting to the point where I wanna skip Eddie matches cause the talent he's with is so bad. After a shitty double heat segment, 1 terrible RVD hot tag, and a decent Eddie hot tag. Eddie and RVD hit stereo Frog Splashes for the win.

After the match; Eddie grabs the mic he tells Carlito and Jesus to slow down, he says to tell Kurt they found their 4th member.........................................................JOHN CENA.

Backstage: Carlito and Jesus go into Theodore Long's office, he calls Cena a thug and claims he had nothing to do with the stabbing. Long says Carlito does have an alibi, but Jesus doesn't and the police told him Jesus was in the club when it happen.

Kurt Angle comes out and is joined by his team, they go in attack Show but Eddie and RVD come out to somewhat even the odds. This goes about 5 minutes or so, they do stuff it's just a shortened version of the No Mercy match. Everyone fights on the floor until Carlito hits Eddie and RVD in the head with Cena's chain. In the ring, Kurt has the ankle lock locked in after working the head for the past couple of minutes. Show rolls through to break it and makes his comeback until Jindrak and Luther interfered for the DQ. **

After the match; Luther and Jindrak hold Show down so Kurt can lock in the Ankle Lock. Show grabs at the ankle like it's "Broken"

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guererro vs. Spike Dudley
This is the best use of the cruiserweights since Chavo Classic, it's all 4 in the ring going at it. Granted it's still the 2 in the ring while the other 2 sell on the floor for the most part, outside the token tower of doom spot. Rey carries this like he's been doing the past 2 months, super on with spots and bumping. Kidman goes for the SSP on Rey, but Chavo shoves him off and they brawl on the floor. In the ring, Rey counters the Dudley Dog into the 619 but from the apron, Kidman pulls Rey to the floor. Chavo slides in and hits the Gory Bomb, on Spike but Kidman broke up the pin with a legdrop on Chavo, Rey then takes out Kidman allowing Spike to cover for the win. This was constant action for 9 minutes. **3/4

Backstage: Heyman is giving Heidenreich a pep talk, he leaves to get his straight jacket when GENE SNITSKY COMES OVER!

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Christian (w/Tyson Tomko) vs. Shelton Benjamin
Fantastic opening minutes of counter wrestling, Shelton gets the better of everything and debuts a springboard neckbreaker This is mostly built on Shelton showing his athletism and youth, Christian finally gains momentum when Shelton takes his eyes off him and tries to take Tomko out with a running kick from the apron, but Christian intercepts and shoves him into the barricades. Christian works the neck it' decent, but Shelton doesn't sell anymore so that sucks. He does have a nice comeback tho, but still He busts out this fucking awesome inverted DDT, but misses the Stinger splash which allows Christian to hit a DDT for two. Tomko slides the IC title in and goes to distract the ref, but Shelton boots it back into Christian's face. The ref then goes to take the IC belt out and Tomko nails Shelton with a big boot for two. Then like a minute later, Shelton dragon whip kicks Tomko off the apron and leapfrogs Christian's unpreittier attempt and nails the T-Bone Suplex for the win. **3/4

Backstage: Kurt Angle walks over to Edge, he says he read Edge's book and didn't appreciate what Edge wrote about him in his book. Kurt says his favorite chapter was when Edge won the World Title. OH WAIT! Kurt mocks him for being chosen 2nd next to a man who couldn't walk, Edge says he took out Shawn Michaels that same night, and after tonight when his team wins he will be getting that World Title Match. Kurt says he could make Shawn tap out in seconds He leaves and bumps into Eugene, Eugene runs down Kurt's stats and starts singing "YOU SUCK"

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Luther Reigns, Mark Jindrak, Carlito Caribbean Cool w/Jesus) vs. Team Eddie (The Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Eddie Guererro & John Cena)
So, before the match officially got underway, Cena comes out doing his best angry face, he chases and fights Carlito and Jesus all the way to the parking lot, Carlito robs some chicks car and drives off with Jesus, making the match 4-3. This is okay but wasn't clicking maybe because nobody is buying the possibility of team Kurt winning cause looooooooooooooooooool, heels isolate Eddie for quite a while. RVD gets the hot tag, and after about 8 minutes Kurt schoolboys him and grabs the ropes eliminating him, then like a minute later Eddie schoolboys Jindrak holding the tights to eliminate him Another minute later Show finally gets into the ring and Chokeslams Luther pinning him. Kurt then tries to leave, but RVD that fuckup comes out and rolls Kurt back in where Cena hits the FU and Eddie finishes him off with the Frog Splash for the win. It's such a Smackdown 2004 match. **1/2

Backstage: Coachman interviews Maven, he asks Maven if he thinks he deserves being in this match tonight. Maven cuts him off and says he belongs in the Main Event. SNITSKY comes over and beats the shit out of him, he throws him into one of the WWE storage containers busting him open. Fit and other agents come over and help Maven to the trainers.

Heidenreich (w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Undertaker
Typical Taker carry job, it's what he's been doing since the early 90's carrying these build a random big guy with no talent and making look like a threat. It's the most selling I've seen Taker do all year, he didn't even sell this much to the WWE champion. So, this gets 15 minutes, it's back and forth the whole time, it's designed to make Heidenreich seem crazy but smart. But I felt bored and annoyed the whole time. Taker wins with the Tombstone. Cole and Taz hype up that this was Taker's toughest match in years. LOL *3/4

Backstage: Maria interviews Eric Bischoff about Maven, and he says it looks like Maven might be out for the night. On the question of naming a replacement, he says that he knows Triple H and his team would file a protest about it, and he's hours away from going on vacation, so he's not going to do anything that would force him to go to WWE Headquarters instead of a beach, so there will be no replacement.

WWE Woman's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Lita
This is more of an angle match than anything, Lita pretty much beats the shit out of her for a minute in the ring, they brawl on the floor where Lita throws Trish face first into a chair and proceeds to hit her with the chair for the DQ.

After the match; Lita continues the assault and locks in a rear naked choke, Trish is now bleeding from the nose. Refs pull her off, Lita goes to leave but as Trish gets up Lita dropkicks Trish who goes face first into the steps. AWESOME SHIT! Best thing about this PPV so far.

Backstage: Team Angle are in their dressing room, Eddie and RVD are fully clothed while Show is just in a towel and Cena is in his boxers. Eddie says he was looking at Cena's back and doesn't see a scar, and Cena says yeah the Doctors really hooked him uplmao GM T Long comes over, and thanks them for their match. He asks to speak to Cena alone, so everyone leaves. Show hands Cena his towel and walks off laughing. Long congratulates him on a speedy recovery and says he's ordering Carlito to show up on Smackdown and defend the US Title against John Cena this Smackdown.

WWE Championship: John Bradshaw Layfield (w/Orlando Jordan) vs. Booker T
This is way better than I remembered it being, they go back and forth exchanging strikes with neither guy able to maintain control for long period of time. Both men take some hellacious bumps, OJ keeps getting involved I think he interferes at least 8 times throughout the whole match. JBL works headlocks and targets the head on offense, at one point Booker hits the Bookend on JBL on the floor and beats up OJ too to take him out. He goes back and forth taking out both men. He rolls, JBL back in and hits a missile dropkick for two. He misses the Harlem Hangover, and JBL goes back to the headlock but it's short lived and they go right back into Booker's comeback. OJ gets involved again stopping the Axe Kick and JBL hits a DDT for two. The ref gets bumped and now OJ enters the ring, he beats on Booker some and grabs a chair. BUT JOSH MATHEWS RUNS DOWN FOR THE SAVE. He takes OJ out, but JBL murders him with a boot and a Clothesline from hell. Booker hits JBL with the Scissors Kick, and Charles Robinson runs down. But OJ pulls him out during the pin cover. OJ enters the ring again with the WWE Championship, but Booker nails him with a 2nd Bookend. JBL then nails Booker with the WWE title and covers with the win. Real solid Handicap match. **3/4

Backstage: Triple H is with Batista and Flair, he asks if Batista talked to Snitsky and Edge, he says yeah but it didn't go well. Triple H says it doesn't matter, cause when they win they control RAW for the first 2 weeks and Edge and Snitsky will be in no condition to challenge for the World Title. Batista says he cannot wait till it's his night to run RAW :hm:

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Orton (Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & Maven) vs. Team Triple H ( Triple H, Batista, Gene Snitsky & Edge w/Ric Flair)
AHHHH Yes, the last real great/meaningful traditional SSeries match. The build of this has been great, and just like the build, the match is really fucking dope too. The match starts off again with a 4-3 disadvantage, but this time it's the faces being a man down. Benoit and Edge start, they go right into their hatred and fighting so that rules. The teams go back and forth with everyone getting a chance to shine on offense, and get worked over for a little bit. Heel teamwork over Orton for a bit which is cool, Benoit's hot tag is dope, suplexes for everyone and he busts out the running forearms. He hits the diving Headbutts to both Hunter and Edge but Snitksy breaks up the pin. The match has fully broken down at this point, Benoit locks in the Sharpshooter and again Snitsky breaks it up, Hunter hits the pedigree behind the refs back and Edge pins Benoit 4-2, Heels. They isolate Jericho but their's some miscommunication between Gene and Hunter, so they argue, Hunter drops about 6 F-bombs telling him to get the FUCK OUT OF THE RING! Batista and Gene go nose to nose which allows Jericho to lock in the walls on Hunter, but Batista breaks it up. Jericho then hits the running Bulldog but Flair trips him on the floor so he's ejected. AND LAWLER SAYS "WHATEVER HAPPEN TO BEING FAIR TO FLAIR" Batista comes in and starts murking Jericho and Orton, he goes for the knockout Lariat but Orton nails him with the world title and he stumbles into a Jericho Step Up Enzuiguri to eliminate Batista. He wipes out Jericho with his KNOCKOUT Lariat before leaving, 3-2, Heels. Heels again isolate Jericho, Orton tries to interject so Hunter and Edge beat up Orton on the floor. Maven comes out and tags in, he takes the fight to Snitsky and cleans house on Edge and Hunter. Snitsky gets cut open off a running elbow from Maven. So. Snitsky comes back in with a chair and KILLs Maven with a chair shot, and Jericho too. Snitsky is DQ'd, Snitsky hits Orton with a chair too before leaving, Hunter then crawls on top of an unconscious Maven and pins him. Orton is still out after the chair, so Jericho tries his best to fight off both Edge and Triple H but can't and Edge drops him with a Spear to eliminate him. It's down to Edge/Hunter vs. Orton, heels take turns beating on Orton for a bit, Orton's goes a tremendous job at bumping and selling trying to overcome the odds. Everytime Orton tries and almost overcomes the odds the numbers catch up to him. Until Edge goes for the spear but Orton avoids and he hits Triple H with it, Edge then turns into an RKO but Orton and he's eliminated. As the ref is trying to roll Edge out, Triple H low blows Orton. He tries the Pedigree, but Orton counters into an RKO and covers for the win. Sole Survivor ORTON! 2 YEARS IN A ROW! Really really well laid out match, sadly it felt rushed towards the end once it got down to Edge/Hunter vs. Orton/Jericho, as good as this is, it would have benefited more with an extra 10-12 minutes and more heat on the faces. ***1/2 - ***3/4

La Resistance are in the ring, when Maven comes out. He welcomes everyone to RAW and says after last night's victory, he is in charge of RAW tonight. So he books Edge & Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chris Benoit And Coachman vs. JR, and Christ vs. Stacy in a pillow fight, and last but not least. In the Main Event. Maven vs. Triple H, for the World Heavyweight Championship. But, as for La Resistance, they have a title match up NOW in a three-team Elimination Match.

Elimination Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championships: La Resistance vs. Tajiri & Rhyno vs. William Regal & Eugene
Conway and Rhyno start, they have a somewhat decent slugfest to start, Tajiri outwrestles and embarrasses Eugene until they do the Lynn/RVD pin sequence, sadly after that the match turns into a Eugene shit show and now he's a better wrestler than Tajiri UGH! The Resistance isolates Tajiri for a bit, it's the best segment they've had in months cause it's only 1 minute long but they're super aggressive in their actions. Rhyno has an okay hot tag but misses the GORE and Sylvan covers with Conway grabbing the leg from the floor pinning him. Resistance heat on Eugene sucked, so Regal tries to save it and almost does but tags Eugene back in who gets all his shit off and hits the blueberries Elbow for the win. **1/4

Backstage: Maria interviews William Regal, but Eugene comes over and pours chocolate milk over them. Regal starts looking at Maria's tits and goes to wipe them down with his hankie, Eugene comes over and gets distracted by the tits so Regal tells him to stop or he'll go blind. So Eugene runs off and Regal says he doesn't mind going blind.

Backstage: Maven goes up Candice and asks to see her in his office a little later. He then goes into his office, but Triple H is already in there. Hunter says he's got himself quite the opportunity tonight, but what if he can offer him something bigger. A SPOT IN EVOLUTION! Maven says he would rather keep the title match, Hunter says since Orton got kicked out he's been looking at him and he's really good, but be honest, he's hurting after last night, and hell he might beat him tonight but it's a longshot. He asks Maven to take the sure thing. Maven says he already has friends, but Hunter asks where were his friends when Snitsky attacked him last night? He says those "friends" probably told him to go after the world title, but if he wins who does he think is coming after him when he wins? Hunter says he will always tell him the truth, that's why people hate him. The truth is he can compete for the world title and lose but take the sure thing. He asks him what his vice is, is it woman, money, glory, fame and says he can give Maven it all just join him. And when the time comes he'll be in the ring waiting for his answer.

Lita vs. Molly Holly
Lita showcase, she wins with the Rear-naked choke.

After the match; Trish Stratus comes out wearing a face protector. She says she hopes Lita is happy, because of her she has to wear this thing that covers her beautiful face. And Lita will pay, she marches down to the ring but Molly attacks Lita from behind. Molly doesn't do much so Lita hits her with a DDT. Trish gets in but Lita smacks her in the nose again.

Coachman is in the ring, talks shit to JR saying he's gonna go down FASTER THAN PEYTON MANNING IN A PLAYOFF GAME JR goes to leave the booth, but Maven appears on the tron and says the J is silent, and the R stands for R-K-O!

Johnathan Coachman vs. Randy Orton
This is fun af, Coach tries to run and hide with the fans but Orton stands in front of him Orton fucks with him before hitting the RKO for the win.

Backstage: Todd Grisham is with Edge & Christian, he says it's been 3 years since they've teamed. Edge says he should be facing Triple H for the world title, but NO! I have to compete in a tag team match, with Christian. Christian says to tone down the hostility, because he doesn't want him to hurt his voice box and miss another six months Christian says the last time he was in a major tag team match on RAW he pinned the guy who took his world title match, Edge, so Edge might want to follow his lead. Because that's how he rolls.

Backstage: Orton thanks Maven for the match, he then asks Maven how he feels about his World Title match. Orton tells him joining Evolution is like selling your soul. And it's not worth it, Maven says when he was in Evolution he was the IC champ for 8 months. Maven then says he questions Orton's motivation on this because if he joins Evolution like Orton is trying to talk him out of, he won't challenge Triple H tonight. And as long as Huter is Champion, Orton's out of the running for a title match, so he asks who Orton's really looking out for, and Maven walks off.

Edge & Christian (w/Tyson Tomko) vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chris Benoit
I love you 2004 RAW, this has everything I wanted. Benoit destroying Christian, Christian, and Shelton continuing their goodness from Survivor Series, Edge avoiding Benoit at all cost, just to prove him when he's on offense on Shelton. E&C eventually started working really really well as a team again, they start working on Shelton's arm who finally starts selling again They miss the double team in the corner, and Shelton hits the desperation dragon whip kick on Edge. Benoits hot tag ruled like a motherfucker. He beats the shit out of both E&C, before dumping both men with Suplexes, he suckers Edge in who accidentally spears Tomko off the apron. The match breaks down, and Shelton modified the T-Bone suplex into a powerslam type move, which allows Benoit to hit the Diving Headbutt and lock in the Crossface on Christian forcing him to tap. ***

After the match; Edge snaps and attacks Christian on the floor. He yells that him not being champion is everyone's fault, and walks out.

Backstage: Maven is on the phone when Flair comes in with two lovely ladies as an incentive to make the right decision.

Lingerie Pillow Fight: Christy Hemme vs. Stacy Keibler

Backstage: Batista says to Triple H, that he's been thinking so Hunter makes a joke that he shouldn't. Batista questions why offer Maven a spot in Evolution when he can beat him anytime, Hunter asks who he'd rather face for the World Championship. Him or Maven. Hunter says the entire locker room could come out to screw him over to give Maven the belt because he with the title would be easier to beat than Triple H with the title. Batista says it makes sense, but he's been thinking, and again Hunter stops him. He says nothing good can come from him thinking, and Batista glares, so Hunter says to lighten up, and he's just kidding, and he leaves.

Backstage: Maven is getting dressed when Jericho and Benoit come in, He says he's gone over this a dozen times in his head, but he doesn't know. Jericho asks what he's thinking, and Maven wonders where they were when he got jumped last night, and Jericho says not to buy into Triple H's line about that and he owes it to himself to take the opportunity and make the right decision. Jericho leaves, and Maven asks Benoit. He asks how long Maven's been in the business, and he says 3 years. Benoit says he's 3 years in and has a World Title shot. Benoit says when he was 3 years in, he wasn't getting title shots, and it took him 18 years to win the World Championship, and Maven's wondering what to do? It's not about what Evolution can give him, it's about being World Champion, and if he joins them, that's not going to happen, and Maven has to make the right decision. FUCKING AWESOME BUILD! Maven uses speed to garner a couple of near galls early on, Batista gets involved right in front off the ref so he gets ejected, Flair is pissed and shoves the ref so he gets tossed too. Benoit and Jericho laugh as they remain at ringside. Hunter does what he can but every time he does something, Jericho and Benoit keep pulling Hunter off covers or interfering to stop his holds and attacks him from behind the refs back. Maven isn't even good enough to believe like he can pull off the upset even with all these interferences, at one point Jericho hits the running bulldog and Lionsault but Maven is too slow to cover and Hunter kicks out. The ref argues with Jericho when he sees him saving Maven from a pin after the Pedigree by putting his foot on the ropes, Jericho is tossed from ringside and Benoit sneaks in to hit the Triple Germans and Diving Headbutt. Maven slowly crawls again, but Hunter kicks out. Edge sneaks in from the crowd, Maven and Hunter are slow to get up he goes for the spear but both men avoid and the ref gets speared. Edge and Jericho fight, but Benoit joins in. Outcomes Flair and Batista. They fight to the back as Hunter grabs the World Title, but Orton runs out and takes the title away. He nails Hunter with it and Maven covers, but Flair pulls the ref out. Orton goes to fight Flair, but Snitsky appears and boots Orton down. He enters the ring and sizes up both men, but kicks Maven in the face and Triple H follows up with the Pedigree for the win. So much fuckery, but it was a blast. **1/2
