Misleading title, they're actually the best WWE Tag Teams and not tag teams in general.

1. Only WWE teams were eligible. Meaning no Gangstas, no Sting & Lex Luger and no Mulkey Brothers.
2. Teams were rated only on their accomplishments while in WWE, so the achievements of The Steiners in the NWA had no bearing on their placement (or lack thereof) here.
3. Eligibility began with the first recognized World Tag Team Champions, Luke Graham & Tarzan Tyler, who won the titles on June 3, 1971.
4. Rankings were based on everything from longevity to cultural impact. Personal biases may have also crept in, as witnessed by an extended argument over the significance of Tony Garea & Dean Ho.
Okay, now that that's out of the way, here are the 50 greatest tag teams in WWE history, presented by Totino's!

Still some questionable choices imo.

I'm sorry but how is Demolition number 3? They've hardly done anything to be placed so high on the list, I mean how much do we hear about Demolition compared to the likes of The Dudleyz or Legion of Doom? Christ even the APA should be higher up then Demolition

Being the longest reigning champions makes you high on that list plain and simple.

And again....No X-Factor? BULLSHIT!!!

Not really. E&C were their greatest tag team in terms of accomplishments. The Hardys were WWEs greatest full time tag team in terms of revenue they drew, surpassing LoD. DX and BoD were more like power alliances.

What does that have to do with them being on the list and where do you have these numbers that you randomly always pull out? Teams are going to be on this list for what they brought to the table and impact they made. What puts them on this list that you should have said is that they are one of if not the most exciting tag team to watch and brought things to the table no other team was at that time with the crazy shit they did.

The fact that they are one of the greatest teams ever in terms of excitement is there but the Hardys drew money and sold merch unlike other full time tag teams. They are solely not 1 because e and c were booked to win all those tlcs as the other two teams didnt need it.

Not sure bringing up Hardy's ushering in cheap backyard stunts should be considered better than gauging them on that very hot year they had in 2000 in terms of revenue they garnered for themselves. If anything it would be a knock on that team imo.

Yeah, they did crazy shit, big deal.....doesn't make them better than anyone else on this list. Atleast E&C didn't have to do stunts every match whereas the Hardy's had to. Hence the reason why E&C were aligned with the Facgime and Hardy's were in hardcore division in 2000.

This is a WWE.com list though is what I'm saying. You really think how much money they drew is one of the factors of why they put this list together? It's always based on kayfabe stuff. The Mega Powers would be top 5 on the list easy if that mattered on this list.

I'm thinking along the lines of drawing power = popularity. And seeing this is a mark list from WWE, I would think popularity is a big factor in this list.

Demolition was over as fuck to children of the 80s for those people who question them being so high up on the list.
