WWE Legend Says He Has Not Signed on For "Legend's House"

Former WWE star Honky Tonk Man, amidst rumors that he has signed on to be a part of the upcoming WWE Network show "Legend's House," has posted the following on his official website:

Regarding Rowdy Roddy Piper saying on Twitter I'm going into the WWE legends house with him. I have NOT talked to anyone from WWE about anything other than my ownership of The Patriot trademark. Where this came from is anyone's guess.

You fans know HTM does not BS on things. We do not know who is spreading the rumors. If the Piper camp is involved, all we can say is there is no truth to the statement. Believe HTM or someone else.

Something more to report about the WWE Network/Legends House yet again.

I'm sure everything will come together sooner or later. It's not easy to set anything up and it's better to be worried then to be confident at this stage because it means ALL problems are likely to be ironed out. Hopefully Tough Enough comes to the network for a second season.

If Tough Enough 2 returns it will be on USA as that was a big hit for them getting around 2 millions viewers an episode. WWE might work out a deal so they can show replays on the network but I can't see them showing the show exclusively on the Network.

Most of WWE's big shows won't be network exclusive i'd imagine. RAW, SmackDown & Tough Enough I imagine would be on their usual channels then work out a deal to show a replay on the WWE Network.

Report: WWE Network Launch Date Has Changed
It appears WWE will be pushing the Network debut back until the Fall of 2012 according to a report by PWInsider.com WWE had been targeting April 1st, the same day as WrestleMania 28 as the launch date.

It is believed that WWE won't have the the complete infrastucture prepared and that a launch on WrestleMania day would be a devestating risk at the Network's success.

Despite the delay, projects that were being produced such as the "Legends House" reality show will still go on to be produced as planned.

I won't have access to the network as I'm from Australia but that sucks. If it's the best for the network, good choice by the WWE.

This will be delayed for years, until its too late.

Cant see it ever happening tbh.

They are smart that they never announced the date publically so they can always claim that they intended to release it later. This has been delayed for a long time though as I remember this being talked about 2-3 years ago. It will happen eventually but until wrestling hits a boom period again I can't see it being hugely successful. Don't get me wrong it will get a decent amount of subscribers but I can't seeing it being a huge money winner early.

I'm calling them launching at SSlam in LA. They treat it as a mini mania with Fan Axxess and all the media outlets will be there. Plus airing that for launch is more cost effective, yet still big and ground breaking

I think you will be right. It is the next big PPV after WrestleMania and it gives them a few more months to get all the product ready to go for the launch.

3 Names Set For "Legend's House"
WWE Legend's Dusty Rhodes, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and The Iron Sheik have all confirmed that they will be taking part in the WWE Network reality show "WWE Legend's House."

The Iron Sheik, lmao. I bet The Love, IV is going to love it.

I hope that show somehow finds its way to Australian tv. I used to watch Surreal Life and so I think I would enjoy seeing these wrestlers locked in the same house together.

Totally gonna watch and those first 3 names are pretty damn huge. I hope Arn Anderson makes it on the show.

Think it could be really great if they have many of the same series they had on WWE 24/7 like the Roundtable show and reruns of ECW and WCCW. Even adding FCW onto the Network would really be ideal for the company because fans would be able to scout out WWE's Rookies. There's only up side here IMO.

I am confident they will be showing the Roundtables and re-runs of WCW and ECW on the Network.

I highly doubt that they will show FCW simply because WWE won't want to show off talent before they are ready.

Just found this new promo from WWE for the Network.

That was awesome, different to the normal WWE promo, but still awesome. If I lived in the US I would definitely be getting the Network. Pumped that they will be showing World Class Championship Wrestling and AWA on the network as well.

After seeing that video are you tempted to get the Network?
