Well, assuming you're not broke or anything (otherwise you likely wouldn't own a television set or a computer with internet access anyway), $120 isn't a whole lot to take out of your yearly income. If you were being asked to put down $60 a month for the Network instead of every six months, I could see being skeptical about whether it was worth the money, but you're not. I just figure if so many millions of people can bother watching Raw and Smackdown every week that they would easily make the choice to purchase the Network as well at that low price.
the price isn't even that relevant because a huge chunk of people who watch WWE are simply not going to pay money for anything wrestling related

I said that earlier but I still question why given that being hooked to the television show should naturally make you eager to watch the PPVs as a follow-up to it, especially at the offer of a low price.

Think the free trial MAY help matters, because of how bad most of the streams are. It won't solve the torrenting issue, but not dealing with lag issues, bad video quality, buffering, cracks in matches, and all that comes with the shitty streams makes the Network version seems like a breath of fresh air.

I don't have an issue finding a solid stream 9 times out of 10. that goes for wwe, NFL, NBA. MLB is a little tougher

Sure plenty of streamers agree, but the difference between a "solid stream" and the Network broadcast is so surprisingly great that it should get quite a few people considering it.

Yeah online piracy doesn't feel that guilty after the first two times you do it, and even said first two times is probably just me being a hyper-sensitve vagina. :smug:

Your conclusion is not borne out by the findings of psychologists or law enforcement personnel.

Nope, it's borne from real life experience. Remember doctors used to say smoking was good for asthma, so pardon me if I don't take official "stats" as gospel.

it isn't illegal to find streams. it is illegal to provide them

You're wrong on this point. It is illegal to provide or receive them. Watching an illegal stream is just as illegal as providing it for others to view. The issue from a legal standpoint is that it's far easier to prosecute the providers than it is to prosecute the receivers. If you were being confronted with receiving an illegal stream, you only have to say that it wasn't you watching it, but somebody who had hacked into your network. In order to get a warrant to actually examine your computer (where it can easily be proven that you were the one watching it), the probable cause rules are so high as to make it extremely difficult. This is why the JOD concerns itself more with prosecuting those who provide and upload torrents, illegal streams, etc., than with the people who download and use them.

Don't confuse difficulty of prosecution with legality.

source? I've talked with people who would know that say you aren't breaking laws by watching a stream of an event

streaming is not piracy. it would be no different than watching a video on a site that had been uploaded by someone that was breaking copyright laws.
