Re: WWE Money In The Bank 2013 Discussion Thread

But MITB started it all

I'm not denying that. I was just saying. The Yes word helped.

Re: WWE Money In The Bank 2013 Discussion Thread

Tbh, Bryan winning MitB wasn't that big of a deal until he cashed in, he lost a crapload of matches while he held the case. I'd say "Yes!" was just as important if not more so, while the 18 second loss and subsequent rematch with Sheamus at Extreme Rules also helped. There's really no right or wrong answer though, Bryan was destined for greatness because he's just that fucking good.

It's also important to remember that he obviously did enough to impress Vince and the other creative members for them to give him the case in the first place.

After watching NXT I say let Sami Zayne in the MITB and let him steal the show

So they've announced the participants in both MitB matches....

WWE Title Version

Kane
Randy Orton
RVD
CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Christian
Sheamus

WHC Version

Antonio Cesaro
Cody Rhodes
Damien Sandow
Dean Ambrose
Fandango
Jack Swagger
Wade Barrett

Thoughts?

I think both of these have the potential to be really good although the first one has a pretty obvious winner in Bryan. Meanwhile, I'm having trouble deciding who I feel should win the SD one. I assume Ambrose and Swagger won't win and Fandango's concussion problems may very well keep him away from the case, so that leaves us with Cesaro, Rhodes, Sandow and Barrett. Given that Dolph should be regaining the title from Del Rio soon, any of those choices would be a good fit for a feud. Personally I'd like to see Cesaro win, but as long as its anyone but Barrett I'll be happy.

WWE does everything abysmal. Why this year are there only 7 participants when there's usually 8? Still looks like great matches.

Either they plan on adding one more to each match or they're just plain old dumb. Hopefully its the first but I won't be shocked if its the second.

What's wrong with 7? It's just one person less lost in the crowd.

Find it pretty weird it's all faces in one and all heels in another. The WHC is by far the more interesting booking wise, whilst the other will likely be the better match.

Also, WWE hasn't even cleared Fandango to return from his concussion (hell, Ziggler has wrestled once since his) and yet they've booked him in one of their most dangerous matches. Makes sense.

Abysmal? ROFL. No. 7 is fine. Why have more people than you really need? If anything, 6 would be the perfect amount.

What's 1 more person gonna do? More spots? 7 people is fine. If you don't wanna see 7 people, then don't watch the PPV.

The rest of the card so far has been added to the OP.

Still looking really forward to both ladder matches. Expecting a leg drop off the ladder from Fandango, which would be a big moment for him.
