Should be a great final half of the year for WWE on DVD. Austin is going to sell huge as is the HBK vs. Bret DVD. The Orton and Ladder Match DVDs should sell okay as well.

I think that WWE have tried to not double up on too many of the matches from previous Austin DVDs and that is why some big matches aren't there. To me the big selling point is the documentary with Austin.

The cover for the Vengeance DVD will be a photo of the collapsed ring. Excellent choice for the cover.

Jim Ross confirmed on Twitter this weekend that following the feedback from the new Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart Rivalries DVD, there will be more Rivalries sets released in the future.

Ross didn't know what rivalries the sets would feature but it was reported earlier this year that WWE was looking at doing a Steve Austin vs. The Rock DVD.

I haven't even seen the first one yet but I have only heard great things. Very happy that they are looking to branch out and continue on with this series. Austin vs. Rock has to be next as that was the biggest feud in wrestling.

What other rivalry DVDs would you like to see made?

Bret/Shawn rivalry DVD was completely awesome. It provides such a different aspect to the whole feud it is like wow. Its very interesting. Of course I got the Blu-Ray so I could rewatch the Survivor Series 97 match :p

But the DVD is well worth it The Orton dvd was very good as well. Whole new appreciation for Orton.

The next rivalry... yeah either Austin/Rock or Austin/McMahon. I'd prefer it to be Austin Rock to watch some of their other matches like their IC title feud that gets forgotten about.

I would go with Austin vs. Rock first simply because there are more matches that can be included in the DVD. An Austin vs. McMahon DVD would be very light on matches to add as extras.

Mine is in the mail. As far as other rivalries, Austin vs Rock, Austin vs McMahon, Taker vs Kane, Flair vs Steamboat (never would happen, but would be amazing), Triple H vs Foley. are some that come to mind.

I just finished watching the interview from the Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart Rivalry DVD. There was great insight to the fued overall and it was amazing to see these two legends sat by side in a emotional talk. Im going to catch the matches later tonight when i have time.

I like the sound of all of those. Taker vs Kane would be great and HHH and Foley had so many top matches.

I read a great idea on another forum. A tag team rivalry DVD featuring Hardys, Edge and Christian and the Dudleys.

WWE King of the Ring cover has been revealed;

wwebestofkingofthering1.jpg

Interesting that Kurt Angle made the cover. Lesnar makes sense because he and WWE recently reached a merchandise agreement that made it possible for Lesnar to be placed in the WWE 12 video game. Looking forward to this DVD to see what they have included. Hopefully there is a long interview segment to begin with that talks to KOTR winners and chronicles the history of the tournament.
