With all the great WWE DVDs being released the year and simply the shear number of WWE DVDs being released I thought it was time to put it all in the one thread. All news regarding WWE DVDs now goes in this thread

Recent compilation releases are The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro, The Greatest Cage Matches of All Time and Rey Mysterio: Life of a Masked Man.

Some DVDs being worked on at the moment are;

- Another Randy Orton DVD
- A DVD focussing on the HBK vs. Bret Hart rivalry including the Montreal incident and all that went before it. Both guys have been interviewed for the DVD by JR.
- OMG! Top 50 Shocking Moments in WWE history
- The Ladder Match 2: Crash & Burn is the follow-up to the Ladder Match DVD released in 2007
- The final Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD is being worked on as well. SCSA is picking the moments and matches himself as well and will be heavily involved in the project.

WWE will be releasing a King of The Ring DVD with Booker T King Bookah hosting the DVD. Great choice of host by WWE. Booker T was awesome as King Bookah and it should be an entertaining few hours with him hosting. KOTR used to mean a lot and I am glad they are dedicating an entire DVD to it to remind fans of how many stars were created by this PPV. Hopefully if it sells well WWE will bring back the PPV.

It was a great tournament and the stars it helped launch makes me wonder why WWE stopped using the tournament. Yes there were some failures like Mabel and Billy Gunn but overall it was a great success. Should be pretty easy to fill 8 hours of DVD time with the amount of quality footage they would have.

I have it sitting on my DVD player but I haven't finished all three discs yet. Once I have I will post my review of it. After that I will review the Cage match DVD.

The Steve Austin DVD will be officially released on 11/29. The documentary in the set will be two and a half hours long. WWE's European distributor Silvervision has already confirmed that Austin vs. Chris Adams from the USWA will be featured on the set, culled from the video library the company purchased from Kevin Von Erich.

Excellent news that there will be a long documentary part to the DVD. The big matches have been used on DVD's before but the special part will be the interview by JR with Austin since this is the first time Austin has played a role in the making of one of his DVDs.

Anybody catch the Randy Orton DVD yet? I have and the biography is a real eye opener. It creates a new respect for Randy and all that he does inside of that ring. And it truly was an evolution seeing what Randy was before to where he is now. Randy... one of a kind.

It doesn't get released in Australia for around another month so I haven't seen it yet. Good to hear that the biography is very strong, especially with the newer DVDs I need a good biography since I have seen most of the matches already so the biography is the key selling point to me.
