I frankly didn't put much thought into CPs post since he's usually just having a field day with WIFOM around that sorta thing. Usually I could even see him say that sorta stuff to make scum think he's the Traitor so they waste a night trying to recruit him. But since the Recruiter is dead this might not apply here.

It still could apply because isn't the traitor already mafia? If that's the case he could as town be saying "I'm scum with y'all help keep me alive til end game so you can think you have majority when actually i'm town". It's a more advanced play but CP is capable.

Yeah it's definitely an option, in fact I'm saying it's becoming more likely because there's no need for him to WIFOM the scum team into recruiting him when the Recruiter is dead.

What are the chances that he does that, not knowing at all that his role is very fitting of the traitor?

He's a known DV which would fit with Evans' multi-accounting.

If you're talking about OMB, I think an Ascetic as Traitor makes no sense because the role would block the Recruit from working. Unless this is a variation of that role ofc.
