Off topic but we need more baseball posting. I'd post more, but i dont want to just write "another blown save/shitty loss" 4-5 times a week. Jesus it's getting sad here.
I guess what im saying, is thank god we have Uecker.

Nationals vs Texas or Yankees. I want to say Yankees because I'm a fan myself, but I think Texas might get the advantage over them in the playoffs.

Texas is screwed i think come playoff time because of their pitching. Even though im a Cubs fan, i would like to see the White Sox go far, but the AL is gonna be a sprint till the end. Nationals are my clear favorite for the NL, still like the Reds chances though.

Saying Reds, that team is so well put together it's out of line. Nats next year, and maybe for a few years after.

I'd have to agree there. I think in terms of batting the Yanks and Rangers are pretty even, but pitching Yanks have the edge. The Yanks have showed what a good lineup can do to someone like Dempster. To be honest, the Yankees have only been absolutely destroyed by is the A's.

To be fair, Dempster benefited by playing in the NL.

Also the White Sox rocked the Yankees pretty hard a bit ago.

But anyway, its the final stretch of August and September now...I'm hoping the Sox can hold off Detroit

Maybe the A's can prove me wrong, but I'm telling you, the September schedule is going to kill them. They don't have the benefit of playing the Mariners 9 times in September/October.

__________

Plus 3 Games with Kansas City

We've played well against good teams all during the 2nd half of the season. 4 game sweep of the Yankees ring a bell?

Plus we just got Brett Anderson back and he is a HOSS. 2-0 with a .64 ERA, went 7 scoreless last night. Small sample size sure but I've always loved this kid. He is a stud
