Miggy and Prince are beasts but the rest of the lineup aint great. In the playoffs you will be facing pitching staffs that are good enough to shut down the rest of that lineup and then they can pitch around the big boppers.

I hope Oakland somehow gets matched up with them in the first round

Everyone should root for the A's. They are literally dead last in payroll, and were picked not only to finish last in the division, but they were expected to be one of the worst teams in all of baseball. We are doing it with a bunch of rookies and journeymen who weren't supposed to be any good. It's a great underdog story.

No i couldn't agree more and this is why i don't want a capped MLB. Every once in awhile teams like this come around and they instantly become the team to root for and a great story of over coming all odds. It's almost poetic. Fuck Go A's man i changed my mind A's Vs Nats.
