I most certainly can. In almost 300 games played, probably 65-70% of them have been plurality.

u cant be protected from a bus drive
it will make the protection go to another person


like if im mafia with a bus drive and i want u gone for w.e reason, all i have to do is:

- bus drive u with player B
- shoot player B

easy.

now all protections/watchers on u by town will go to player B, and my shot on player B will go to u

u cannot counterplay that unless if ur bullet proof, which can easily be solved by a strongman

majority lynch can be controlled by scum easier than plurality
it forces town to have an awkward vote on a player just for the sake of lynch
and allows scum to slip in their votes for free for the excuse of wanting a lynch

wheras plurality lynch truly reflects the idea of your vote = your power
the person with more votes on them by the end dies. period.
everyone votes for who they want to vote, not just to get a lynch going cuz majority said tho

basically majority lynches encourages sheeping and claim forcing sooo much which is ruining games imo
like literally every day someone will get voted by 40% of the players then be forced to claim and the votes move to another target then rince and repeat

its boring and not as organic as everyone voting their top suspects and trying to convince others to join

With that being said the progression from here to the other place we play is far far harder than the progression from there to here

This is basic ABC mafia compared to the other games we are used to

The problem is here you have to coddle weakers players far more because what they are doing at any given time matters far more in the context of the whole game and the result

Claims defeating the purpose of Mafia doesn't really make any sense. What do you even think the purpose of Mafia is, if claims defeats it? What you need to consider is, analysing claims and such is a part of scum hunting, just as detecting tone etc is.

action claiming is fine, flavor claiming isnt
specially with scum given fake claims

in this site, most of the roles are standardized and people expect to see a version of these pre set roles in each game one way or another

like im suspected for my gameplay apparently, but i say hey guys im a gunsmith

suddenly im no longer suspected

this isnt mafia, this is roleplay
