I could explain for hours the pros and cons of majority lynch. I think your mindset here is awfully closed - majority lynch helps force a town consensus which by its own rights promotes discussions and avoids cheap wagon lynches or lynches where scum can just pile on and lynch anyone.

majority lynch can be controlled by scum easier than plurality
it forces town to have an awkward vote on a player just for the sake of lynch
and allows scum to slip in their votes for free for the excuse of wanting a lynch

wheras plurality lynch truly reflects the idea of your vote = your power
the person with more votes on them by the end dies. period.
everyone votes for who they want to vote, not just to get a lynch going cuz majority said tho

basically majority lynches encourages sheeping and claim forcing sooo much which is ruining games imo
like literally every day someone will get voted by 40% of the players then be forced to claim and the votes move to another target then rince and repeat

its boring and not as organic as everyone voting their top suspects and trying to convince others to join

I had the DV on my scum list, though. I felt like my lynch was a poor one too, and given that scum were largely the ones driving it I'm not too upset. I don't have much nice to say about Poyser's play, so I won't say anything, except that his argument that I fit most of his possible scenarions was nonsense because, well, if he is selectively coming up with possibilities of course I'm going to appear, that's how bias works. I could also explain for hours about how claims are an important part of informing the lynch process, the bottom line is there is not only one way or form to play mafia.

Anyways a game where we got 3k posts is a damn success in my opinion.

Two games in a row where we had a very high post count and great activity.

Always great when you have players like myself talking shite the entire game

Love to see the activity. I love playing with high active players like Jeff, Smark, Poyser etc. Although, it's better when you are all town because it's a serious vibe. I struggled keeping up with Jeff and Smark though, they are crazy.

Although I would like to condense my posts down a bit and get to the point a bit quicker, but I always say I'll trim my post count down and it never happens
