Stopped here awhile ago, came down pretty steady though. Definately not the worst storm in nearly 30 years like they predicted.

Yeah. Wasn't that bad. Losing battle with shoveling. But got it done. Kinda wished I was scheduled to work today. Would have been a short work day.

Wasn't even the worst storm in the past 2 months.

That super blizzard we had back in December was way worse. I was thinking it was going to be the 1998 ice storm all over again by the way they were hyping it and it wasn't even close.

I remember that ice storm you guys had. That was brutal.

Thankfully I wasn't living here when that happened, but everyone here still talks about it. I googled pictures of it and WOW. I seriously hope that never happens again. This guy told me he ice skated on the street when it happened.

I'm in the 3-6 region... it's only 12:14 AM and I've already got about 5 inches. The forecast is always wrong for my area.

Some of my relatives are in Boston and they said they were going to be locked in for the whole day and that all schools and offices were closed in their neighborhood or something.

I've never experienced a literal storm, but I must say I'm a big fan of the rain. Specifically the smell of rain water on mud. If you observe closely you'll notice a peculiar fragrance when rain water mixes with soil. It's quite beautiful.

Freshly fallen snow does the same thing. I prefer that actually. The rain near big cities usually smells like ass lol
