I like Sheamus.

Raw: Alex Riley, I really liked this guy at first, but then I realized how God-Awful he truly is, in the ring, and on the mic. Evan Bourne for reasons stated above. I would NOT future endeavor JTG actually, though he probably will be. I like him to tell you the truth, and he's pretty good in the ring. If they gave him a better gimmick, he could actually be pretty good. Nothing will probably come from him though.

Smackdown: Darren Young, still like him in the ring, but his promos are the worst I've ever seen. Doesn't offer anything. Ezekiel Jackson, face character is absolutely horrible, only good as a monster heel, and I'm tired of those. Hornswoggle, fuck Hornswoggle. Titus O'Neil, can this guy be any worse? Nothing about his is marketable, he has horrible promos and is one of the worst on the roster in the ring. Please stop polluting my wrestling Titus. The Great Khali, no comment needed. Aksana, seems like she wrestles in slow motion, I can't understand her, and I just don't see any reason to keep her.

David Otunga- The only real reason he is around is because of his wife. Sure he seems to fit in as Johnny's sidekick but really anyone could be in at position. I just feel he's really sloppy and slow.

JTG- Why he and Shad never got the tag team titles is a mystery as they were the most over tag team whether they were featured on tv or not. Since he's been on his own he's done nothing to really stand out. He's decent in the ring and on the mic but he just doesn't have that IT factor. WWE needs jobbers but right now he isn't really doing anything.

Mason Ryan- The big guy never really had a chance just because he looks like Batista. He's horrible in the ring and just doesn't look like he'll ever improve.

Ezekiel Jackson- basically the same reasons as Mason Ryan. I've never been a fan of ANY of the big body builder types whether it's him, Ryan, Henry or even Lesner. Of course Lesner is better than all of them together but I've just never been a fan of those types.

Titus O Neil- same reasons I stated above and that everyone else has said. Bland in every way imaginable. It's cringeworthy to sit through his promos on NXT and now Smackdown. He tries so hard to seem like an outspoken party guy but it's just so forced no one believes him.

I feel everyone else on the lower card is good for jobbing and have chances of improving. I really like most of the guys on NXT like Bateman, Tyson, Reks, Hawkins and Curtis. I've liked Curtis since his debut on NXT and I even thought about playing as him in an E-Fed.

I might have to say Aksana as well since she isn't even good for jobbing.

I'm guessing you mean just remove them from the actual roster on the website seen as though they obviously compete very rarely and not that you'd never have them compete again? I'd personally keep them on the actual website because even if do they wrestle sporadically, it's adding actual star power it.

I'd definitely allow the three of them to wrestle again, that's for sure. It's just they take up a spot on the actual roster, so they should just go down as "Occasional Wrestlers" instead of listed on the main roster with guys who appear and wrestle every week. So yeah, not retire them but just take them off the full-time roster.

Great to see this thread has created more discussion> it started slow but has come good :)

Great thread. Might sound crazy but I really enjoy this thread each year because you never know what WWE are going to do. There are always some obvious deadweight that should be cut but never are and then WWE spring some random surprises by cutting popular guys. Last year I didn't do too bad with my predictions so we will see how it goes this year.

For this year because the rosters are already so thin I don't think that there will be mass releases this year like we have seen in some previous years. They need to keep a couple of jobbers around so that debutants have someone to squash but I will try to list the guys that I don't think add anything. I am trying to predict who WWE will release mixed with guys I don't think should be there anymore.

RAW

JTG
- He is nothing without Shad. His only good work was part of Cryme Tyme and if they aren't reforming then he needs to go. I am surprised that he has kept his job for this long as a singles wrestler. He will never be a draw as a singles wrestler so WWE should cut their losses and release him.

On the Bubble
- Mason Ryan - I think that he should head back to FCW rather than being fired completely. He could do well he just simply needs more training and experience.
- Evan Bourne - Needs to get his attitude together otherwise he will never make it back to the main roster. WWE have a habit of firing guys with 2 strikes so he could be on the chopping block this time.
- Michael McGillicutty - Controversial choice possibly but honestly what has he done in WWE? He doesn't seem to have any of that charisma that his dad has and he desperately needs a new name. Send him to FCW, repackage him and hope that it will work.

Smackdown

Ezekiel Jackson - Was a fan of this guy but I think that WWE haven't gotten all that they can out of him. He had a good run up to the IC belt but once he had it he was disappointing and I can't see him doing any better than that. WWE aren't going to be able to turn him into a star so he should be released.

The Great Khali - He returned for Royal Rumble and has been back for a couple of months but he has already over stayed his welcome. He seriously looks worse this stint than he did before. I know that WWE want to tap into the Indian market but Khali should simply be used as a publicity tool over there rather than as a wrestler.

Heath Slater - Really can't see much use for him as a singles wrestler. His best chance is as a tag team but really he should be released. I don't see star power in him and I can't even see him with the US or IC titles.

On the Bubble
- Johnny Curtis - Should be given a promotion back to the main roster to see if he can get over with this new gimmick, if he can't then it is time for him to be released.
- Darren Young & Titus O'Neill - After spending forever on NXT they finally get their chance on the main roster. I would give them until the end of the year and if they are back in FCW then release both of them.
- Trent Baretta - Should probably be in the release section but I think that WWE haven't really given him a shot whereas all the other guys in the fired section have been given a proper chance. His best chance is as a tag team otherwise he will simply be a jobber.
- Yoshi Tatsu - At the moment is probably being saved because he one of very few japanese wrestlers on the WWE books. Needed to be given a chance with his darker half face painted gimmick, think it would work well with him as a heel

FCW/NXT

Derrick Bateman - Been given plenty of time onscreen but can't seem to connect with the crowd that well, can't see him ever amounting to anything so release him.

Percy Watson - Again like Bateman I can't see Watson ever becoming a star. Just doesn't seem to have the whole package.

Eli Cottonwood - This guy was terrible on NXT and if FCW all he is good for is standing behind someone as a bodyguard. WWE have better potential giants in FCW so he should go.

Conor O'Brian - Wasn't impressed by him on NXT and he can't even standout on FCW so he should go. If these guys can't make it on NXT and in FCW after the show then they don't really deserve a spot on the roster when there are a lot more better options in FCW.

Tyler Reks - Don't see anything in this guy at all, as much as I want his team with Hawkins to make it to the main roster I think that it would be better if Reks is released and Hawkins is paired up with someone different like Baretta.

Ted DiBiase Jr does not suck, I'm sorry but he doesn't. Head back to 2009 I think it was, Hell in A Cell or Breaking Point, and himself and Cody were main eventing against Triple H and HBK, YES Main Eventing, and sure you can say that was down to his name, but HBK and HHH don't just main event against guys for no reason and they obviously both believed in Ted as well as Cody and it was a top match. Reason he sucks is because WWE turned him face, after his gimmick copying his father failed. It's not hard to make him something, all he needs to do is go Heel and bash the shit out of his father and say he's better than his father ever was, and he will cement a better legacy than his father. Plus after winning a few titles he'll of done more than his father which = more bragging rights for him and more Heel Heat. So yeah, he doesn't suck at all, WWE booking sucks.

As for guys that should go:

Big Zeke; You've got Ryback, Tensai and most likely Mason Ryan when he returns, who will all be booked as better big guys then Big Zeke. The fact he jobbed out to two fresh NXT promotions proves he's going nowhere soon.

Yoshi Tatsu; Same as Big Zeke, going nowhere jobbing out to fresh tag teams, doesn't draw for Japan at all, Tesnsai can do that.

TGK; Mahal has talent, The Great Khali does not. Give Mahal some time to show his worth, some relevant fueds, as well as mic time, and he becomes WWE's top Indian draw over Khali. I don't hate Khali but I don't want the guy to do further damage to his already frail knees.

Justin Roberts; Yeah this is random as hell, but I REALLY detest the guy, his announcing isn't even that good and even Howard Finkel has said that to me in a WWE live chat before. Put Lillian on RAW and get Chimel back on Smackdown where he belongs. I do see them cutting a ring announcer to save money.

Matt Striker or Scott Stanford; I REALLY HATE to have to say this, but it's inevitable that one of these is on their way out, even though I like the both of them.

Hornswoggle; I think everyone knows why by now.

Heath Slater; I don't care for this guy, or his feud with Florida as he says and I'm sure hardly anyone else does.

Some random referee; Cost cutting...

JTG; I honestly didn't know that this guy was still employed.

Justin Roberts is easily their best announcer. He puts a lot of enthusiasm into announcing and the crowd get into it when he announces, his voice is unique and he rarely botches. Lillain botches a lot and her voice doesn't get you pumped up. Tony Chimel only good ring announcing was with Edges name. So why cut Justin? :lmao

Tensai. Send him back to Japan, he didn't learn ANYTHING.

I also want Lesnar gone. I can't listen to his god awful promos for another year.

Otherwise, Swagger, Darren Young, all the guys who have no positive attributes whatsoever. I don't see anything in Ziggler but he can stay and be humiliated as a lower midcard bumping machine who makes people look good. No reason we have to get rid of him, if he stays where he belongs. No main eventing.

The thing that I worry about with Brett's list is I don't think that there will be enough wrestlers to fill RAW, Smackdown, NXT and Superstars each week. They would probably have to cut a couple of shows because otherwise we would see the same half dozen wrestlers feuding each week.
