Picked up these 4 books today at a book store at my local shopping centre, all $5 each so it came to $20. Bargain imo.

I started reading Battle Royale again. It's like the Hunger Games Except so much better. 40 kids get sent to an island to fight to the death each with a different weapon. There must be a winner in three days or else everyone dies. The main thing I love about this book is the character development. About 150 pages are dedicated to people other than the main character. Nearly everyone has a character which more than I can say for Hunger Games. Also the romance plot isn't big. Sure some people die early but they at least give you a glimpse into who they were. One recommendation though, I had to keep a paper and write down everyone's name with certain traits because they have Japanese names and it was hard for the to tell the lesser characters apart. I didn't need it after awhile though.

Reading Carl Froch's autobiog atm.

Hes my favourite boxer but also a bit of a narcissistic c#nt too, which makes parts of it unbearable to read when hes constantly patting himself on the back.

I suppose if I was as ugly as him and had the missus he does, I'd be a smug git too though.

Started reading the Hunger Games a few days ago. I know it's a teen based book (and I'm far from being one!!) but it's very well written and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far.

This is the book I've been reading for the last little while, it's pretty good and pretty explanatory.

We're reading To Kill A Mockingbird for school. I've actually already read it before, but it's a nice little book that I don't mind reading again.

I'm not currently reading anything (been trying to read the James Potter series, but I get too distracted), but I'm looking for The Hunger Games online, you bastard. :p
