Belief is a weird thing. Something we choose to acknowledge despite all common sense & proof showing otherwise.

Whether you choose to believe in a God, love, fate, aliens, what do you believe in, and why?

Or what do you not believe in? For example, I hate the idea that we have a fate/destiny and that everything we do is predetermined.

Nothing really. I'd say I'm Agnostic if I'm anything, can't really add much more than that.

I guess I believe in true love (no homo for that). Nothing much else that I believe in. That I know of.

I dunno if I believe in true love, if it does exist I have this bad feeling my chance has passed me by which is pretty depressing.

I do believe in karma, everyone gets what they deserve eventually, one way or another.

I don't believe or disbelieve anything, I mostly just ignore it and concentrate on doing my own thing. I figure there's enough people in the world who are concerned with issues of faith, one more isn't going to make much of a difference. I don't believe in fate either, I think you have to take advantage of your opportunities because you can, not because they were given to you in some sort of pre-ordained situation.

I have tried believing in things, but the minute I express my beliefs, I get shot down by people who don't believe in the same thing, so I have learned, 1, not to share my beliefs, and 2, tell people who want to brag about how God did this to shut the fuck up.

Nobody alive today was around when the Bible was written, and it had been re-written so many times, who knows what is true or not anymore

As far as Karma goes, I do believe in THAT! Example: Earlier today I went out and bough 4 2-packs of aluminum, 8x8 pans to put some xmas treats I myself make, and give them out to family and friends. Well, to make the pans easier to carry I just stacked them on top of one another and went to check out, the cashier did not ring me up for the additional 3 packs of pans as she thought 8 came in the pack and I paid very little for them... Now, gloating about what had just happened, I get in my car and don't see a cart that someone has left in, as it was in a blind spot... I pull out my parking space and nail the cart with my side mirror nearly knocking it off my car. Because I did not pay for the additional 3 packs of pans, Karma rolled around and purposely put that cart there and watched things unfold, haha. It's all good though, it was a quick fix and I still didn't pay for the other pans ^_^

As far as believing in something otherworldly, I suggest anyone interested in religion, politics, and government to watch Zeitgeist on youtube. The Annunaki and Nibiru certainly make for a good read too. Now, moving on to an afterlife, I thoroughly believe in it. I've had my own experiences with the paranormal and have participated in ghost hunting. Incredible stuff.

Now, as far as what I 100% believe... I believe that we aren't physical beings with a soul, but rather spiritual beings in a body. I believe there are things that we aren't supposed to know in our 3 dimensional way of life, we aren't prepared for the dangers or the glory of what lies ahead and maybe we just can't handle it in this reality. Ever wake up from a dream and try to recall it, and have it slowly seem to disappear from our minds? Granted, it doesn't happen with every dream, but our brains leak something called DMT. It is found in every living thing on the planet, but our bodies only produces it while we sleep. After we wake up, then it kind of shuts off for the time being. I personally feel that DMT helps transition our sleeping bodies to our awoken spirits and vice/ versa. I believe there are beings out there in every shape, size, and color. You take a fish, who lives a 2 dimensional life and you take it out of water into our 3 dimensional life and it has no fucking clue what is going on. In the universe, in the bigger picture, we are the fish or even a lower life form. I can't really find the right words to express what I really want to say. But when I do, maybe I'll repost or something. :/

Honestly don't believe in much. I guess that's kind of sad but life's pretty much beaten me down.

Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.

I particularly loved the Susan Sontag reference.
