Brandon Powers? That's the very definition of a jobber. :nonono: I'm sure Cristina Legend is probably his sextastic assistant I presume? >_> Anyway, interesting moving Taker to Raw and having Jericho to win the world title. Nothing too big came out of the draft besides Taker and Batista to Raw. Some changes are better than others, but we'll see how they play out. Good luck, guys. No quitting allowed. :n:

WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT~!

Just to piss off seX.

Thanks for the feedback guys, there shall be more in the future, I hope >_>. I will be recapping RAW and writing ECW in full, although this may change in the future. Also, as you can see on Smackdown, Brandon Powers is a backstage interviewer, and, uh, Cristina Legend is also a backstage interviewer, and happens to be a female version of me >_>.

Anywho, I am excited to write this thread, and keep the comments coming or I'll fuck you up >_>.

WWE RAW News and Notes

Last night at Survivor Series, John Cena retained his WWE Championship against Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and expect this to be of a frequent occurrence in coming months. Cena has lost the heat which has followed him for years, and with Vince having a love for Cena, expect Cena’s reign to last for at least a few more months. With the arrival of Superstars such as the Undertaker, Batista and Rey Mysterio on RAW, Cena has plenty of competition, and expect this to be utilized by the WWE.

On the subject of the Draft, the reason behind is due to the WWE finding somewhat of an incapability to build their future stars, and they believe that with the young stars on the one brand, that being Smackdown, they will be able to build the Superstars of the future with the likes of Chris Jericho and also Edge, who is making good progress with his injury. With the WWE wanting to keep RAW as one if the highest viewed shows on Monday nights, they now have the stars of today on the brand, as ECW have also gained some young and exciting Superstars.

The Undisputed Tag Team Championships held by the Big Show and Chris Jericho are expected to change hands rather quickly, now with Jericho being the World Heavyweight Champion. The Big Show is expected to go solo whilst Jericho continues to dominate Smackdown, so expect the titles to change hands in the coming weeks to an already established tag team.

The Miz is in line for a push, possibly with a potential next Diva’s Champion in Maryse by his side. Management have been impressed with the singles run from the Miz for quite some time after the break up with John Morrison, which is why he was given the US Championship. Expect the Miz to have a lengthy run with the US Championship.

There is a severe lack of tag teams on RAW, so expect for new tandems to be made in the coming weeks. The Colons are expected for a reunion in the very near future due to Carlito not being able to be a prominent figure on RAW.

Monday Night RAW Preview

Monday Night RAW rolls into the Giant Centre in Hershey, PA, just 24 hours after a huge Survivor Series Pay Per View.

Earlier today, there was a draft on WWE.COM, where in total 15 Superstars found a new place to call home. Regarding RAW, Monday nights lost Superstars MVP, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Melina, Eve, Festus, Chris Masters and Jamie Noble to Smackdown and ECW, but RAW picked up some huge names, them being Batista, Rey Mysterio, Gregory Helms, Goldust and the Undertaker! After last night’s Survivor Series, Mysterio will be missing in action, but expect some of if not all of RAW’s other acquisitions to play part in what is shaping up to be a huge show.

Last night, John Cena once again defied the odds by defeating both members of DX in a Triple Threat Match after he pinned Shawn Michaels following an Attitude Adjustment. Cena is expected to open RAW following his huge win, as he managed to retain the WWE Championship which he won back at Bragging Rights in the One Hour Ironman Match against the Viper, Randy Orton. Cena undoubtedly has many men vying for his title, and with RAW’s latest acquisitions, who will step up to the plate and be the next challenger for the WWE Champion?

Also last night, Orton’s team, which consisted of the three Legacy members, The Miz and now Smackdown Superstar Jack Swagger defeated Evan Bourne, Primo Colon, and three new Smackdown Superstars MVP, Mark Henry and Kofi Kingston. With Orton now disposing of Kingston, the man who cost him the WWE Championship at Bragging Rights, he will undoubtedly be vying for a shot at the WWE Championship once again. Also on RAW, Ted Dibiase will go one on one with Primo, as Primo wants a shot at the man who eliminated him last night in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Last night in the Diva’s Elimination Match, a new Diva’s Champion was crowned, as Gail Kim last eliminated Maryse to become the Diva’s Champion in a match where the Diva who got the winning pinfall would become the Diva’s Champ. However, tonight on RAW, Gail Kim will be first to make her very first title defence against the Diva who she last eliminated, Maryse! Will the French bombshell be able to regain what she describes as rightfully her title, or will Gail be able to have more than a one day title reign and manage to make it 2 from 2 over Maryse?

The man who has been trying to win over Maryse for the past couple of weeks and also the US Champion in the Miz will also be in action tonight. The Miz and Evan Bourne were on opposing teams last night as although Randy Orton’s team got the win, Bourne managed to eliminate the Miz following an astonishing Air Bourne Shooting Star Press. On RAW, a non title match will take place between the Miz and Bourne, and undoubtedly, if Bourne can get the win over the Miz, a United States Title match will be granted to Bourne in the near future.

The RAW guest host is, surprisingly, not known for tonight, although the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vince McMahon, will make an announcement regarding the Celebrity Guest Host. Just who will the Guest Host be? There is only one way, and that is to tune into the USA Network on Monday Night.

The preview looks good Cris. Looking forward to The Miz vs. Evan Bourne as I like both men. Cena opening the show should be good with Batista interrupting I am guessing. Other then that, I am not sure what is going to happen. The Celebrity Guest host thing could be intriguing.

Good to see you guys back though, you are both great writers (well Cris is) and loving Cristina Legend name. Just Brandon Powers just seems ghey :shifty:

Good way to start the show off with Cena after his big win over both members of DX, not sure what's going to happen here, either HHH, HBK or Batista will join him in the ring and start a feud over the title. I'm guessing either HHH since he wasn't pinned or Batista since he's been drafted back to RAW and hasn't done much with Cena so it could be fresh. Interested to see what you do here.

Some good matches announced too, predictions.

Ted Dibiase Jr Vs Primo Colon
Not too sure on what's going to happen here, either you'll give Primo a good push and have him go over or just have Ted go over and push him and Rhodes like theyve been doin in real life.

Gail Kim Vs Maryse
I doubt Gail will lose her title after only just winning it, should be a good women's match, I think Gail may retain by countout somehow.

The Miz Vs Evan Bourne
Bourne eliminated Miz in their PPV tag match and I think he's going to pin him here again earning himself a US title match/feud, should be good.

Looking good here, quite suprised there wasn't much in the preview about the Undertaker, he's bound to show up, look forward to that, I'll be reading.

Raw 23/11 Recap
Vince McMahon makes an on screen announcement talking about the celebrity guest hosts, as he says that last week was the end of them. McMahon then says that as for the new permanent General Manager of RAW, it is none other than the man himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon~!

Cena then comes out with a promo talking of his respect for Triple H and HBK, and how he overcame the odds last night. The Big Show, who lost in the World Title match, says that his ‘partner’ Jericho screwed him out of the title last night, and says he wants to show {no pun intended} that he is the most dominant force on not only the A Brand, but the entire WWE. A non title match is made for the night by VKM between the Big Show and John Cena, as the latter tells Show that if he wants some, he can come get some.

Priceless are seen in the locker room of Carlito, trying to convince him to join Legacy, since he would be a ‘welcome addition’. Carlito seems to be happy with the proposition, as Dibiase tells him to watch his match with Lito’s brother Primo.

Match 1
Ted Dibiase vs. Primo Colon
In the first match of the night, Primo defeats Dibiase by DQ in 6 minutes. The end of the match came when Primo was on the top rope and looked for a Diving Crossbody as he looked to pull off the upset, only for Rhodes to push him off the top rope. The two then beat down on Primo as Carlito came out with a smirk on his face as he got a steel chair from the timekeeper’s table, and told Priceless that he wants a piece of his brother. As the two back off, Carlito smashes the steel chair right into the face of Rhodes, before he nails a charging Dibiase in the sternum with the chair, before nailing a Backstabber. Carlito helps Primo up as he reunites and embraces with his brother.

Batista has an interview backstage with Todd Grisham, saying that even though he’s back on RAW, he still has unfinished business with Rey Mysterio. He says that Mysterio isn’t here tonight after he ‘destroyed him’ last night at Survivor Series, and if he knew what was good for him, he’d stay away.

The Big Show is in the office of Mr. McMahon, talking about how his partner Chris Jericho screwed him out of the World Heavyweight Championship last night, and that regarding the Undisputed Tag Team Championships, he doesn’t care about them anymore, saying that he is only focussed on the WWE Championship. Show then requests that the titles be vacated to the Chairman, who says that an announcement regarding their titles will be made this Friday on Smackdown.

We cut back to the ring where Chavo Guerrero is standing, as the announcers talk about how Chavo has been on a losing run as of late, and will try and make that come to an end tonight. Gregory Helms’ music then hits over the speakers to a good pop, as one of RAW’s newest Superstars is ready to face Chavo. The announcers hype up that Helms is on RAW while the Hurricane is on ECW, casting doubt over who the Hurricane really is.

Match 2
Gregory Helms vs. Chavo Guerrero
In an entertaining and competitive match, Gregory Helms won his return match on RAW after hitting Chavo with a Nightmare on Helms Street, giving Guerrero another loss. Helms managed to hit Guerrero with all of his signature moves during the match including a Shining Wizard and an Overcast, with Guerrero getting some early offence in, but he was then not able to get any other offence in on the alleged superhero. After the match, with Guerrero down, Hornswoggle emerged from underneath the ring, and just to embarrass Chavo, nailed him with a Tadpole Splash.

Randy Orton is backstage in the locker room with his Legacy comrades Dibiase and Rhodes, who are visibly hurt after the assault by Carlito earlier on in the night. Orton talks about how they should just forget about earlier in the night with the Puerto Ricans and think about something much more important; Orton’s quest to become the WWE Champion once again. Orton says that last night they disposed of Kofi, MVP and Mark Henry, who are now on Smackdown since they are scared of the Legacy. Dibiase and Rhodes both smirk on nod, before Orton says that the fulfilment of his destiny will start tonight, that being getting back on track to once again become the WWE Champ.

Match 3
Diva’s Championship
Gail Kim {c} vs. Maryse
The next match was then a Diva’s Championship match between the new champion since last night, Gail Kim, and the Diva who she pinned last night to win the title, Maryse, who was the last survivor for her team. However, when all was said and done, Gail managed to successfully have her first title defence, managing to get the three count after an Inverted Stomp Facebreaker called the Eat Defeat.

After the match, the Miz ran out with his United States Championship and cornered Gail, as the Miz continued trying to impress Maryse. Kim tried to plead the Miz out of it but he turned her around and trapped her arms behind her back, leaving Maryse, who was now up, to have a free shot. Maryse smirks as she looks to hit the Diva who has kept her from getting the Diva’s Championship in two consecutive nights, but the Miz’s opponent for the night in Evan Bourne comes charging down the ramp. Bourne slides into the ring as the Miz drops Kim and goes straight for Bourne, as Maryse lifts up Kim on the inside of the ring, only to be speared out of the ring by the Diva’s Champ.

Match 4
Non Title Match
US Champion the Miz vs. Evan Bourne
The non title match between Evan Bourne and the Miz started as Maryse and Kim’s catfight went to the outside, before they were separated by a team of referees, as they were both escorted to the back being held apart. Miz had the early advantage over Bourne as the advantage then changed hands several times during the match. Miz went to nail Bourne with a Skull Crushing Finale at the fifteen minute mark of what had been a very exciting match, but Bourne managed to spin out of it and nail the US Champ with a vicious Jumping Spinning Heel Kick. Bourne then went up to the top rope and looked for the Air Bourne, but Miz crotched him on the top rope and went for a Top Rope Superplex, only for Bourne to nail a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Bourne then once again went to the top and this time managed to nail an Air Bourne, getting the pin over the US Champion for the second time in two nights!

A video package plays of the Undertaker’s accomplishment through the years over on Smackdown, as well as showing his most recent reign as the World Heavyweight Champion, which ended last night thanks to Chris Jericho. The video ended with an image of Taker with his signature buttoned up coat and with his eyes rolled into the back of his head, as a RAW logo came up on the bottom of the screen before it faded to black.

The Miz is walking backstage, fuming over the result of his match earlier on with Bourne, as we see Todd Grisham racing up to the Miz, asking for his thoughts on the events earlier on. The Miz has a bemused look on his face as he tells Grisham that Bourne’s victory was simply a fluke win, just like last night when there were 5 men ‘all gunning for the Miz’. As Miz goes to say something else, however, Mr. McMahon appears, and says that if it truly was a fluke win, the Miz would have no trouble in facing Bourne again next week, but this time the US Championship would be on the line!

Main Event
Match 5
Non Title Match
WWE Champion John Cena vs. the Big Show
The main event then followed as WWE Champion John Cena went up against one half of the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, the Big Show. It was rather similar to their WrestleMania 20 encounter and it turned out to be a rather boring match with the Big Show using his size and strength to dominate Cena for the majority of the contest. However, when TBS looked to finish off Cena with a Chokeslam, Cena nailed a DDT, getting The Champ some momentum. Cena went for a Diving Crossbody but was caught by Show, who then elevated Cena into a Military Press position. However, when he went to nail Cena, Cena dropped off behind Show and pushed him into the corner, but the referee got in the way, knocking him out. With the referee down, Show turned around and Cena miraculously hit Show with an Attitude Adjustment.

Cena then proceeded to lock in the STF on the Big Show as he pulled as hard as he could, as even though the referee couldn’t give the win when Show was tapping out since the ref was unconscious, Cena tried to inflict as much damage as he could on Show. Cena had enough after locking Show in the devastating hold for one minute as he tried to wake the referee up desperately, who subsequently started to stir after 30 seconds of persevering by Cena, although Show also started to stir. Cena then headed to the top rope as he looked to knock Show down with his Leg Drop Bulldog, but what he didn’t see was that Randy Orton was running towards the ring. As Cena was about to leap, Orton pounced and crotched Cena on the top rope, before Orton entered the ring, pulled Cena off the top rope, and nailed an RKO! Orton quickly rolled out of the ring as the conscious referee saw Cena down as Show covered Cena, getting the non title win over the champ!

Once the bell rung, Orton quickly entered the ring again, as he and the Big Show started stomping away at the downed champion. However, the crowd started to cheer as DX came charging down the ramp as they battled with Orton and the Big Show, HBK squaring off with Orton whilst HHH squared off with TBS. However, the crowd’s reaction once again turned to heat, as the camera pans out to show that Batista is running down the ramp, as he spears HBK out of his boots! Once the heels look to be getting the advantage once again, there is another turn of events, as a resounding ‘Gong’ is heard around the arena. The arena then goes pitch black as the crowd begins to go apeshit, as this can only mean one thing.

Once the lights are back on, the Undertaker is in the ring, as Orton is first to charge at Taker, but he simply cops a Big Boot, knocking him down. With Show and Batista distracted, Triple H takes Batista, and nails him with a Double A Spinebuster! Show realises that he is now out numbered 2 to 1, before Michaels kips up from the Spear! Show turns around, not realising Shawn is up, as he is nailed with a Sweet Chin Music, before he stumbles around, right into a Chokeslam from the Undertaker! The crowd gives a huge pop as the heels have been laid out by the faces, as Cena then begins to get to a vertical base. Once he is up, Cena looks around, before he sees that the man who cost him the match is getting up. Cena smirks as he orders Orton to get up, and once he does, he is nailed with the Attitude Adjustment! The four faces stand tall, as the first RAW after Survivor Series comes to an end.

Well, this show looks pretty interesting... Having Undertaker and Batista on Raw made this a strong show once again....

As for the Storyline: I am liking the early feud going between Bourne and Miz with the US title at the middle and I think Bourne is the best contender for Miz as of lately. The Colon's reuniting against the Legacy had a good build up although it's been quick for Carlito to turn back as face. This feud will be much better with the Unified Tag belts, let Jericho strip the title since he's the WHC and he's having a bad time with the Big Show! :D. Another interesting side in this show is having Gregory Helms on Raw while the Hurricane is on ECW, I know you have something about this that will lead Helms to some midcard push.

Overall: a great aftermath after Survivor Series and I am pretty excited with what will happen to ECW and SD especially seeing Kofi being the no. 1 contender against y2J's title. Keep it up guys

The show was really good for a recap imo.

First, and foremost: You have some great things going on here, although it def. looks like RAW is superstacked now with a superstar powered main event. Moving Undertaker was a huge move, and rocked the 'E without doubt, and then you sent Batista over there too? Damn. Anyways, I don't know the results for the real Survivor Series so I cant compare how good yours sounded, but from the looks of it, the WHC match stole the show foresure. Big ups for giving Y2J the title back, and now that he's double champion, lets make him Undisputed Champion, since thats what McMahon's announcement might be pertaining too in the next SD!.

VKM as GM is classic, and basically what you do when there's no good substitution. Besides, VKM can make the big moves that involve the whole company, and most importantly can fire people, or something. Not sure how 'lito would fit into the Legacy being that him, and Orton have some beef from the midcard days, but he's I guess young, even though he's been considered a young superstar since 2004.

Okay, now what actually happened in the match is easier to believe. VKM is going to make the championships united, and will unite the 'E like every other BTB has done, including one done by myself. I'm suprised that your going to continue Rey/Dave because they are on different shows, and all. Thank god Helms went over Chavo for a second, and this match sounded like it went perfect. Chavo got some offense in, but Helms made his return a good one, and flaunted all of his signatures on the cousin Gurrero.

The Legacy in the back was typical Legacy stuff. They plot, and wait until it is time to strike. "Eat Defeat"? Seriously? I hope that is a WWE name lol. The whole exchange with the Diva's & Miz/Bourne was good, and I see a mixed tag match at the pay per view now, instead of an actual wrestling match with Miz & Bourne. I hope thats not the case. Undertaker stuff is alright. The Miz gets a dirty win next week foresure.

If the main event was like their WMXX encounter, how was it boring lol? I thought that match was pretty good. Whatever, I don't see how you plan to make a match sound appealing to readers even though you call it boring. The ending was fine. I was shocked that Orton didn't arrive with Legacy but I saw why at the end. I see an Elimination Chamber Match happening at whatever PPV happens before the Royal Rumble, and instead of No Way Out, or you just go with the whole "WAR" scenario like CT did. Which ever it may be, good luck with it.

I enjoyed the show, and will try to catch ECW, or SD!. Goodluck with this.

ECW Week 1 News and Notes
The Christian and William Regal saga isn’t expected to be over just yet, after Regal defeated Christian to retain his ECW Championship which he won from the Instant Classic three weeks ago. Since returning to the WWE after a three year stint in TNA, Christian has been receiving nothing but praise for not only his in ring work but also as a role model in the backstage area, and he will certainly reap the rewards for such efforts. There have been talks of changing Christian to another brand to get him more exposure due to him being on the alleged ‘C Brand’, but with a somewhat lack of star power over on ECW, a move just at the minute seems unlikely.

After the draft on WWE.COM, Jamie Noble, Chris Masters and the Great Khali have moved over to Tuesday Nights. Although the three men aren’t expected to be thrust straight into the main event immediately, a push is on the horizon, predominantly for Noble and Masters. Talks were thrown around for a Masters and Khali feud, but that currently seems unlikely due to the two men having somewhat of an incapability to put on an enjoyable match with each other. Vince McMahon has declared backstage that he isn’t too intent on having ECW as the ‘C Brand’, and wants ECW to be able to showcase some of the best talent the WWE has to offer.

Other Superstars who are expected to be in line for pushes in the coming weeks and become more prominent figures on ECW in the coming weeks are both Shelton Benjamin and Paul Burchill. If Christian is to leave ECW to go to one of the ‘bigger brands’, Shelton is seen as the obvious replacement to be ECW’s number one face, and he is believed to have the capability to fill the vacancy as an ECW main eventer. Burchill is also expected to be in line for a push and possibly an ECW Title run in the near future following some very impressive performances in the past few weeks against the Hurricane. There have been talks of the inclusion of Burchill in Regal’s Roundtable, but at the present time, they are simply talks.

As mentioned previously, McMahon wants to get rid of the name of the ‘C Brand’, which has prompted talks as to how ECW would be ridded of the C Brand name. Ideas that were thrown around backstage was to have a new championship introduced to ECW- perhaps the TV Championship- to cater for the up and coming mid carders, whilst another idea which was thrown around was to have ECW’s time extended. ECW has been one of SyFy’s biggest drawing shows for many weeks, so one would suggest that a time extension could be on the cards if the WWE were to request it.

11/24/09 Tuesday Night ECW Preview
This week’s ECW on SyFy rolls into Bridgeport, Connecticut, after a big ECW Title defence occurred at Survivor Series and ECW gaining three huge Superstars.

This past Sunday night’s draft on WWE.COM has proven to shake up ECW, as although they lost Superstars Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust and Gregory Helms to Smackdown and RAW respectively, ECW has also gained three big names, one of them rather literal: Tuesday nights is now the new home to the former Cruiserweight Champion Jamie Noble, the ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, and none other than the 7 foot giant and the former World Heavyweight Champion, the Great Khali! Masters is scheduled to make an appearance in some shape or form this Tuesday night; what impact will Masters along with Noble and Khali make on ECW?

Also on Sunday night, an ECW Championship rematch between ECW Champion William Regal and Christian took place following the Englishman’s win over Christian in his home country of England a few weeks ago. In a result very similar to the affair in England three weeks ago, Regal once again walked out the victor and, alas, the ECW Champion, thanks to interference from the other two members of Regal’s Roundtable, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. Regal has promised to make a few words this Tuesday night. What exactly does Regal have to say, and will it involve anything about the man who has been screwed twice from the ECW Championship, Christian Cage?

Another ECW Superstar who is undoubtedly finding himself confused at the moment is Paul Burchill, who has been going up against the Hurricane in the past few weeks. ‘The Ripper’ has been accusing the Hurricane to be none other than Gregory Helms, but with Helms making his way over to RAW, is Helms truly the Hurricane, who not only Burchill but many of the WWE Universe believe the Hurricane to be. Burchill will be in action this week against none other than the last remaining ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer, and the question on many people’s mind is will the Hurricane make an appearance?

Also this week on ECW, two men who have been having a war of words as of late will meet in the ring, as none other than Zack Ryder will go one on one with the ‘Gold Standard’ and the former United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin. Who exactly will walk out the victor in this affair? The only way to find out the answer to all these questions is to tune into the SyFy this Tuesday night at 10/9PM CT.

Thoughts on the news:

The people you want to push sound fine. Nothing crazy. The getting rid of the C brand stuff sounds like your teasing a brand war. I doubt it though. Instead, I see a tournament for the Television Championship happening.

Here's my expectations & what I see going down on ECW:

Masters has a promo, and Noble or Khali squash some body just to put them over.

William Regal cuts the promo, and Christian interrupts, and they have a gimmick match coming up. Possibly Steel Cage to help keep the Roundtable out OR you introduce a third factor in the Championship scene. Maybe one of your new superstars?

LOL @ Burchill situation. I haven't thought of splitting the two like this, and I give you guys props on doing so. Burchill & Dreamer have a decent match, but Hurricane somehow gets involved, and screws him but maintains his face status.

Zack Ryder push over Shelton. Not to much of a push. More like a shove. I don't want Ryder making Shelton look bad now. These two are very similair, and can pull a great match imo. But you said you have a push in line for Benjamin, so that might just give him the win.

Looks good will most likely check out.

Tuesday Night ECW
24/11/2009

The first episode of ECW after Survivor Series starts off with a recap of the 3 on 3 Elimination Match between Regal’s Roundtable going up against Christian, Yoshi Tatsu and Tommy Dreamer. The eliminations are shown in order of occurrence, starting with Dreamer being eliminated by Kozlov, Ezekiel being eliminated by Tatsu, Yoshi being eliminated by Regal, Kozlov then being eliminated by Christian, before in the final stanza, Regal pinning Christian after a brass knuckles shot and a knee to the skull. A slightly different ECW video package then plays set to the tune of ‘Don’t Question My Heart’ with it featuring the Great Khali, Jamie Noble and Chris Masters, whilst Gregory Helms and Yoshi Tatsu have been excluded. The video package then closes with Regal holding the ECW Championship up high, which he won 9 nights after Bragging Rights in his home country of England.

We then cut to the arena as we see that ECW announcer Matt Striker is in the middle with a microphone, waiting for ‘Don’t Question My Heart’ to die down.

Striker: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome tothe first edition of ECW after Survivor Series. As you know, the past few weeks I have been announcing with Josh Matthews, calling the shots to the great action you see here every Tuesday night on SyFy. However, as of tonight, ECW welcomes an old face to the announce table to replace Josh Matthews, who will take the post as RAW and ECW backstage interviewer. So, without further ado, I welcome my new partner at the ECW announce desk, Joey Styles!

The fans in attendance give a great pop as a resounding ‘Oh My God!’ hits over the speakers before Joey Styles emerges from the back with a large smile on his face, as he slaps hands with the fans in the first rows on the entrance ramp. Styles then heads up the steel steps and gets into the ring before shaking hands with his new announce partner, before taking a microphone from the timekeeper’s table.

Styles: Oh my God~!

The reference gets a cheap pop from the fans in attendance, particularly from the old ECW fans in attendance.

Styles: Boy does it feel good to be back on ECW! It will be a pleasure calling the great talents such as Christian {pop}, William Regal {heat}, Paul Burchill {heat}, Shelton Benjamin {pop}, the Hurricane {pop once again} and a familiar face, Tommy Dreamer {yeahpop}. Now, I’m going to leave my talking behind the microphone, and let’s get this show on the road!

Styles and Striker then leave the ring to take their places behind the announce desk, before ‘Bad Dream’ hits over the speakers to a medium pop, bringing out the last remaining ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer slaps hands with the fans before sliding into the ring as he points to Styles at the announce booth and claps to his old friend, who smirks and gives his old friend a sign of acknowledgement.

Justin Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall. In the ring, first, he is from Yonkers, New York, weighing in at 255 pounds, he is the ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer!

Striker: This man was unsuccessful two nights ago as he fought alongside Christian and Yoshi Tatsu to go against Regal’s Roundtable.

Styles: And even though he was the first to be eliminated, I’m certain that he has not lost any respect in the mean time from the ECW faithful.

‘Generator A’ then blasts over the speakers to some pretty nice heat, as none other than Paul Burchill emerges from the back, ready for this one on one contest with the ECW Original after his recent problems with the Hurricane. As always, Burchill is accompanied by his sister Katie Lea Burchill, who takes her usual place outside the ring whilst Burchill goes in through the second rope and is ready for action.

Roberts: And introducing his opponent, from Chelsea, England, accompanied by his sister Katie Lea, weighing in at 247 pounds, he is ‘the Ripper’, Paul Burchill!

Styles: I have been watching this man very closely in the past weeks, Matt, and I must say, I’ve been impressed with his performances in recent weeks.

Striker: I couldn’t agree with you more, Joey. However, the man must be confused, as the man who he has accused is his nemesis the Hurricane is on RAW, that man being Gregory Helms.

~MATCH 1~
~SINGLES CONTEST~
~PAUL BURCHILL w/ Katie Lea vs. TOMMY DREAMER~

ENDING:
At the seven minute mark of what had predominantly been dominated by the younger Burchill, Dreamer began to fight his way back into the contest, using his aggressive and ugly style to send Burchill staggering back with a flurry of wild right hands. Burchill heads into the ropes as Dreamer whips him into the ropes, before nailing Burchill with a huge Clothesline, knocking Burchill down to the mat. Dreamer wastes no time as he lifts Burchill up before whipping him into the corner as he follows it up with a Running Shoulder Tackle into the corner, as the Ripper subsequently staggers out of the corner, before Dreamer gets him in position for a Pumphandle Slam, as he then ties his opponent Burchill up in the Tree of Woe.

Dreamer then heads into the corner opposite as he does his signature ‘E.C.W’ chant with the crowd joining in, as Dreamer charges in and hits a rope hung Burchill with a Dropkick! Burchill falls out of the Tree of Woe position as the veteran looks to pounce, as he lifts Burchill up into a Dreamer Valley Driver position, only for Burchill to slide off of his shoulders, and charges him right into the corner, sternum first. As Dreamer stumbles out of the corner, Burchill locks in a Half Nelson, and nails him with a Half Nelson Suplex! The crowd gives heat as they sense the match coming to an end, as Burchill smirks, applies a standing surfboard and nails Dreamer with a vicious Curb Stomp, as he then gets the clean victory over the ECW Veteran.

~Winner: PAUL BURCHILL~

Styles: And just like that, Paul Burchill chalks up another big win here on ECW!

Burchill then sports a sinister smirk on his face as his arm is raised by the referee, but as the referee drops it, Burchill once again approaches Dreamer, signalling that he is not done. Dreamer is then helplessly lifted up by Burchill who screams out ‘This is for you Hurricane!’, as he gets Dreamer in a front face lock, signalling for a Brainbuster. However, Burchill throws Dreamer down as ‘Eye of the Hurricane’ as the lights in the arena went green, as Burchill screams for his nemesis to show. However, what Burchill doesn’t see is that the Hurricane is perched on the top rope, and once Burchill realizes what is going on, the Super Hero leaps off and nails Burchill with a Flying Crossbody! The crowd gives a pop as the Hurricane stands tall as we head over to the new ECW announce team.

Striker: And ECW’s residential superhero is here once again to save the day.

Styles: Burchill will surely be fuming as his plan at sending a message has backfired on him. However, up next, we here from the ECW Champion, William Regal!

~Commercial Break~

Once we return from the commercial break, ‘Regality’ begins to hit over the speakers to a rather large amount of heat as none other than Regal’s Roundtable- William Regal, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov- emerge from the back, Regal leading the way. The rather pompous Regal is wearing a black and gold robe with quite simply ‘Regal’ on the back, as Kozlov and Jackson sport their usual scowls as the three slide into the ring, as Regal gets a microphone from the timekeeper’s desk.

Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson and the ECW Champion William Regal, Regal’s Roundtable!

Striker: And here comes the sole survivor in Sunday night’s Elimination match and his two accomplices so to speak, collectively known as Regal’s Roundtable. ‘Master Regal’ was very impressive two nights ago, and proved why he is the dominant force in ECW. The man is a veteran, and knows all of the tricks of the trade.

Styles: Two nights ago, Regal blatantly cheated, using brass knuckles to get the final pin over his arch nemesis Christian. Sure, Regal was successful, but he won under dubious circumstances, and I’m not too sure he won over the respect of the ECW fans with those actions.

Striker: Do you honestly think he cares, Joey?

Regal then takes his place in the centre of the ring as his ‘bodyguards’ Kozlov and Jackson stand behind him, their usual scowls on their faces. Regal then begins to speak, as the crowd, who continued their booing, begin to go quiet, ready to hear what Regal has to say.

Regal: Two nights ago at Survivor Series, I showed the world what type of man Christian truly is; a failure. Two nights ago, the three of us in this ring right now showed why we are the dominating force on ECW, and why I am the most powerful entity in the WWE today. Two nights ago at Survivor Series, we showed that we are the only ones worthy of stepping into this ring every Tuesday night!

The crowd gives heat towards Regal who once again does not seem to care at what the crowd is saying, as he attempts to go on with what he has to say.

Regal: There are no men in the back worthy of competing in this ECW ring, and if anyone happens to disagree, the three of us in the ring will make sure that by the end of it, we’ll make sure you have no doubts. It’s about time that ECW is rid of its filth, and be a brand worthy of nothing but champions.

Regal then raises his ECW Championship high in the air to a large amount of heat once again from the crowd, who seem to be sick of Regal claiming his superiority. Throughout the whole of Regal’s speech, Kozlov and Jackson have continued to simply scowl at the crowd’s reaction, but have not moved from their spots.

Regal: ECW is a place for people like us three in the ring: it's a place for successful people. Christian is just like each and every one of you in this arena; a common peasant who fails at everything he attempts. And I will not rest until I have removed him from my ECW!

Regal: And it’s a bloody disgrace that these men are being compared with the greatness in this ring at this very minute. Christian, the Hurricane, Tommy Dreamer, Shelton Benjamin: these are the men that you worship, yet you don’t see them for what they truly are; filth and failures. ECW is no place for people like them, and the fact that you insolate little hypocrites praise the likes of them...: well, on second thought, that’s to be expect...

‘Insatiable’ then begins to play over the speakers to a nice reaction, partly due to the interruption of Regal, as none other than the beautiful ECW General Manager in Tiffany emerges from the back, waving and smiling at the loyal ECW fans. Regal looks none too impressed with the arrival of Tiffany, as the GM looks equally unimpressed with the comments made by the champion directed towards the ECW Superstars and fans alike.

Striker: And here comes the ECW General Manager Tiffany, and Regal doesn’t look too happy at her interrupting him. I wouldn’t be happy either in all honesty, as Regal didn’t seem as though he was done.

Styles: I think Tiffany has heard enough of Regal badmouthing the ECW Superstars and fans, Matt, and I must say she’s not the only one.

Regal: Tiffany, in all due respect, I was continuing on with...

Tiffany: Mr. Regal, in all due respect to you, I felt as though I should come out here and talk about what you had to say, regarding our Superstars and the WWE Universe, especially the ECW fans. Earlier on, you said no one deserve to step into the ring and go up against you and the two men behind you, however, for tonight’s main event, I have other plans. Tonight, in the main event, we will see two thirds of Regal’s Roundtable- Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov- going up against the Hurricane and the last survivor from his team two nights ago at Survivor Series, Christian!

The crowd gives a big pop, mainly due to the involvement of Christian in the main event, as Regal looks none too happy at Christian competing against his two bodyguards.

Tiffany: And as for next week, we will find out the new Number One Contender in our main event, as Christian, Paul Burchill, Shelton Benjamin, Zack Ryder and the Hurricane will fight it out in a Five Way One Fall to a Finish match, and the winner will face you, Mr. Regal, at the next Pay Per View, Armageddon! Also next week, you, William, will be going up against the last remaining ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer, and that will be an Extreme Rules match!

The crowd gives a great reaction to the announcement of the two main events for next week as Regal kicks the bottom rope out of frustration, not happy that he will have his Number One Contender announced next week and that he will have to face Tommy Dreamer in his own specialty match. ‘Insatiable’ begins to play once again over the speakers to another positive reaction as Tiffany takes her leave, before Striker and Styles give their final words before the commercial break.

Styles: And what major announcements regarding tonight and next week, where we have a big main event for tonight and an even bigger main event next week with a Five Way Match to determine the Number One Contender!

Striker: Joey, in my mind, this is unfair on Regal, as not only does he have to face five man who aren’t worthy of facing him for the ECW Championship, he has to face Tommy Dreamer in his own specialty match!

Styles: As Regal said earlier, Matt, he would have no trouble in defeating any five of those men, and as for Dreamer, he said he’s already defeated him, so I don’t see Regal’s problem. Anyway, after the break, we’ll see two men in the huge main event next week in Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder going against each other in singles competition!

~Commercial Break~

Once we return from the commercial break, we go to a ‘Before the Break’ video package which highlights Regal bad mouthing the ECW Superstars and fans, before he was interrupted by the ECW General Manager Tiffany, who announced the Tag Team Main Event and announced the two main events for next week. We then return to the arena, as we get ready for the next match to begin, with 2 of the 5 men in next week’s Number 1 Contender Main Event being in action.

‘Radio’ then hits over the speakers to a considerable amount of heat as none other than the rather narcissistic Zack Ryder emerges from the back, ready to go one on one with arguably the best pure athlete in the WWE. Ryder- as per usual- bad mouths the fans in the first few rows on the way to the ring as well as shouting ‘WOO WOO WOO!’ a couple of times, before he rolls into the ring and waits for the arrival of his opponent for the night.

Roberts: The next match is scheduled for one fall. First, making his way to the ring, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 214 pounds, Zack Ryder!

Styles: Welcome back to ECW, and as announced before the break, the next match is between Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder; two men who will compete in the huge 5 man main event next week.

Striker: And this man here in the ring, Zack Ryder, knows what it is like to be in the big style match, facing Christian on a few occasions for the ECW Championship, so he has past experience and the knowledge of what it’s like and will not make the same mistakes as last time, where he walked out unsuccessful.

‘Ain’t No Stopping Me’ then hits over the speakers, as in contrast to his opponent, a warm response greets none other than the ‘Gold Standard’, Shelton Benjamin. The former United States and Intercontinental Champion slaps hands with the fans although his eyes don’t drift from Ryder, who stares right back at Benjamin, a man who he has traded both victories and losses with. Benjamin then slides into the ring and poses on the top rope for the fans, as the match is not too far from beginning.

Roberts: And his opponent, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, weighing in at 248 pounds, the Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin!

Styles: This man has had no shortage of success, Matt. He is a former United States, Intercontinental, World Tag Team and WWE Tag Team Champion, and the ECW Championship is definitely next on his agenda.

Striker: These two are two great athletes, Joey, and it will surely prove to be a great contest, so let’s stop the talking, and get this match underway!

~MATCH 2~
~SINGLES CONTEST~
~SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. ZACK RYDER~

ENDING:
The momentum had shifted numerous times throughout the course of what had been a thoroughly entertaining match, as Ryder took the advantage at the 9 minute mark and had managed to retain that advantage for the time being. An abdominal stretch had been applied by Ryder on Benjamin and Shelton attempted to feed off the energy from the crowd to try and gain momentum and get himself out of the predicament, but nothing seemed to be working for Benjamin, as Ryder was in the better position and simply drained Shelton’s momentum by hitting him with some sharp elbows to the ribs of Benjamin. Benjamin then began to find some more momentum, however, as he began to use his free arm to connect with some shots to the face of Ryder, causing his grip to slacken as Benjamin then managed to get out of the hold.

Benjamin continued to hit Ryder with some punches to the face as he then attempted to whip Ryder against the ropes and go for a Back Body Drop, but unfortunately for Benjamin, he was leapfrogged by Zack, and when he turned around, he was nailed with the Rough Ryder {Leg Lariat}! Ryder smirked as he let out another ‘Woo Woo Woo!’ before he went back to a downed Benjamin, nailing his opponent with a leaping knee right into the sternum, causing Benjamin to wince in pain, which only gave Ryder more satisfaction. Ryder then brought Benjamin up to a vertical base as he turned him around, before sending Shelton straight back down to the mat with a Russian Leg Sweep, as Zack then smirked and pointing towards the top rope, looking to mount some offence from the high risk district. Ryder then goes out onto the apron as he looks to go up to the top rope, but as he is distracted with a few vocal fans in the front row, Benjamin manages to kip up, and then jumps onto the top rope in one clean motion.

The crowd give a good pop for the standard Benjamin spot, but when he goes for the Super Belly to Belly Suplex, he is shoved off from Ryder, as Shelton lands on his feet. Ryder then attempts to go for a Diving Crossbody, only to be nailed with a huge Dropkick in mid air by Benjamin! The crowd give a good pop once again at Benjamin regaining the momentum in the match, as both men get up at the count of 6 from the referee. Benjamin attempts a kick to the gut once they are both up only for Ryder to hold on, but Benjamin was seemingly one step ahead, attempting the Dragon Whip, but Ryder ducked, causing Benjamin to do a 360 and become dazed, as Ryder subsequently nailed an Inverted Suplex! The crowd once again gives heat as Ryder signals for the end, quickly lifted Benjamin up as he looks for the Zack Attack, but Benjamin successfully spun out of the predicament, and nailed a Paydirt out of nowhere! The crowd gave a big pop as Benjamin climbed over for the cover as he hooks both legs and manages to get the big win!

~Winner: SHELTON BENJAMIN~

‘Ain’t No Stopping Me’ hits over the speakers once again as the crowd cheers for an impressive performance by both men, as either men may very well be the next Number 1 Contender for the ECW Championship. Benjamin has his arm raised by the referee as with his free arm he makes the belt signal recognized worldwide, as Benjamin then exits through the second rope and makes his way towards the back, slapping fans once again with the fans along the way as we cut to Styles and Striker just before we head to the commercial break.

Styles: And a Paydirt out of absolutely nowhere gives Benjamin a big win over Zack Ryder, and that will only get Benjamin some major momentum ahead of next week’s Number One Contender’s Match!

Striker: It was a terrific effort by both men, Joey, and both should be credited for it, but in my opinion, Ryder was short changed here tonight, as he was in charge for most of the match.

Styles: But all that matters is who gets the 1,2,3, and that went to Benjamin after a great match. Now, it’s time to move on, and up next, we here from one of ECW’s newest Superstars, the ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters.

And on that note, we head to another commercial break.

~Commercial Break~

As we return from the commercial break, we aren’t in the arena, as we see none other than the now former ECW announcer and new ECW and RAW backstage interviewer in Josh Matthews, waiting for his first and perhaps only guest of the night.

Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to ECW. I’m Josh Matthews and joining me at this time, he is one of ECW’s newest Superstars, Chris Masters!

As promised by Joey Styles just before the break, Chris Masters appears from off the camera to a moderate amount of heat from the fans, as the ever narcissist and self centred Masters smirks as he walks into shot.

Matthews: Chris, you were drafted here to ECW on Sunday thanks to the Draft on WWE.COM. What are your thoughts on being drafted over to ECW from RAW?

Masters: Josh, what you need to understand about Chris Masters is that he doesn’t care about when he competes, or who he competes against; he simply cares about success. And Josh, I can guarantee you that while I’m on here on Tuesday nights, nothing but success will follow the Masterpiece. And the fact that I’m not getting a match in my first night here in ECW, well that’s a damn disgrace.

The crowd begs to differ however, as they begin to pop at the mention of Masters not being able to get a spot on the show tonight. However, Masters pays no attention, as he goes to speak once again.

Masters: But, you see Josh, not only is the Masterpiece the most impressive in the WWE both physique and talent wise, he happens to be one of the most persuasive as well. Josh, next week, the Masterpiece makes his ECW debut! And after I destroy whoever my opponent happens to be next week, William Regal or whoever the ECW Champion happens to be, well let’s just say they’ve got the Masterpiece coming for them.

Masters then smirks as he walks out of the shot, before the camera then cuts live to the arena once again, as we see Styles and Striker talking about what Masters just had to say.

Striker: Well it seems as though the first of ECW’s three newest Superstars will be in action next week, as none other than the former RAW Superstar, the ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters will be in action.

Styles: Chris Masters is one phenomenal looking athlete, Matt, and whoever he faces has to look out. And, with Masters going for the ECW Champion, they will have to look out as well, and if Masters eventually does get his chance, he may just very well have to lock in the Master Lock and become the newest ECW Champion.

Striker: Many Superstars have fallen to the Master Lock in the past, Joey, and all have had similar effects. Masters will definitely be a force to be reckoned with on ECW, and he is a major acquisition here on ECW.

‘Brawl for All’ then hits over the loud speakers for the first time in the night to a rather large amount of heat, as none other than all three members of Regal’s Roundtable, them being the ECW Champion William Regal, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov, emerge from the back, ready for the latter two’s tag team main event. Regal takes his place on the outside as Kozlov and Jackson enter the ring, ready for the arrival of their two opponents, Christian and the Hurricane.

Roberts: The following match is a tag team match and it is scheduled for one fall. Firstly, making their ways to the ring, accompanied by the ECW Champion William Regal, at a combined weight of 592 pounds, Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson!

Styles: The two men who are in the ring right now are the two most dominant forces in the WWE right now. They helped dethrone Christian from being the ECW Champion earlier this month, and with William Regal by their side, they simply run through all competition, and Christian and the Hurricane won’t go into their match 100% next week you’d think.

Striker: And Joey, that is exactly what Regal would have said to the two colossuses in the ring; make sure the two of them don’t make it to the match next week at 100%. Regal has already proved himself against Christian, so he wouldn’t want to face the man whom he defeated for the ECW Championship again, which is why they will target Christian in the match here tonight.

The lights in the arena turn green as ‘Eye of the Hurricane’ then begins to play over the speakers to a nice reaction, as for the second time in the night, ECW’s residential superhero the Hurricane makes an appearance, this time ready to compete. Hurricane stops at the end of the entrance ramp as he waits for his tag team partner for the night and opponent for next week to emerge from the back, knowing better than to enter the ring against two men who add up to just under 600 pounds.

Roberts: And introducing their opponents: first, weighing in at 215 pounds, from Parts Unknown, the Hurricane!

Styles: This man saved Tommy Dreamer from a post match assault at the hands of Paul Burchill, after the his arch nemesis attempted to send a message to the Hurricane.

Striker: Burchill’s anger simply escalated after the man who many thought was the Hurricane under the mask- myself and Burchill included- in Gregory Helms was drafted to RAW yesterday after the Draft. And after Hurricane prevented Burchill from attacking Dreamer, you’d think that Burchill may very well make an appearance in our main event.

‘Just Close Your Eyes’ then begins to play to the loudest ovation of the night, as none other than the former ECW Champion in Christian emerges from the back, slapping his chest and pointing out to the crowd, giving recognition to his loyal fans. Christian slaps hands with the fans in the first row of the crowd, before he makes his way down to the ring and embraces with the Hurricane, his partner for the night. After a few words between the two, they then roll into the ring, and despite a considerable size difference, Christian and the Hurricane don’t back down from the two giants.

Roberts: And introducing his partner, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 227 pounds, Christian!

Striker: This man put up a valiant effort two nights ago in the Elimination Match, but in the end, it proved too much as he succumbed to the man who has gotten the better of him the past few weeks, the ECW Champion, William Regal.

Styles: Regal used brass knuckles against Christian two nights ago, Matt, so he hardly showed he could beat Christian on his own. Christian will be looking to make a statement next week in the Number 1 Contender’s Match, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Christian going up against Regal once again, with this time Regal abiding by the rules, Matt.

~MAIN EVENT~
~MATCH 3~
~TAG TEAM MATCH~
~CHRISTIAN and THE HURRICANE vs. EZEKIEL JACKSON and VLADIMIR KOZLOV w/ ECW Champion William Regal~

ENDING:
After an early advantage went to Christian and the Hurricane, the two bigger men utilized their size and strength to their advantage as the Hurricane was the face in peril, turning the match into somewhat of a typical tag team contest. Christian became increasingly frustrated on the outside as there was barely a spark from the Hurricane, who was being simply manhandled by Jackson and Kozlov. Regal continued barking instructions from the outside as the Hurricane put in a valiant effort to get his team back into the match, but when he tried to fight back against Kozlov, he was simply knocked back down with a headbutt straight to the chest from the Russian at the 10 minute mark of a predominantly heel dominated match. Kozlov tagged out to Jackson, who entered the ring and whipped the Hurricane off into the ropes before he got him into a Military Press position. The crowd gave heat as they could sense danger coming, but when Hurri was thrown down, he grabbed onto Jackson’s head and nailed him with a wicked Tornado DDT, finally getting himself back into the match!

Hurricane then began to crawl towards his and Christian’s corner as did Jackson with his respective corner, but nothing seemed to be going right for the faces as Jackson managed to get to Kozlov, but in a desperate display, Hurricane dived and managed to tag in Captain Charisma! Christian quickly bounced off the apron and when Kozlov charged towards him, Vladimir was nailed with a Springboard Clothesline, although it merely sent Kozlov stumbling back. Christian, sensing it was his time to capitalize, quickly bounced off the second rope and then nailed Kozlov with a Springboard Dropkick, causing Kozlov to become even more off balance but not drop down to the mat. Once again, Christian bounced off the ropes before nailing Kozlov with a Dropkick to the kneecap, sending him finally down to the mat! The crowd popped at Kozlov being grounded, as Christian, wasting no time, bounced off the ropes and dropped the leg right onto the back of Kozlov’s neck. Christian looked to repeat this, but he made the mistake of going right near Regal, who looked to trip Christian up. However, Christian stayed on his two feet, as he nailed Regal with a Baseball Slide, sending the ECW Champion right into the barrier!

The crowd gave a big pop once again at Regal being silenced thanks to Christian, who went straight back to Kozlov, who was getting to his hands and knees. However, Christian also had to deal with Jackson, who looked to enter the ring, only for Christian to hit him with a knee to the skull before he could enter the ring, knocking him straight back out again. The tables had now turned towards the faces now, as the Hurricane was back on the apron, and when Kozlov was up, he was nailed with a Springboard Crossbody by Hurricane and a Chop Block by Christian, completing an innovative double team manoeuvre which knocked Kozlov back down. Hurricane then went up to the top rope, but when he looked to leap, he saw none other than Paul Burchill running down the entrance ramp. Burchill got onto the apron as he yanked the leg of Hurricane, trying to pull him down, only to be kicked off of the apron by Hurricane, who decided to leap off the top rope onto Burchill, who was now on the outside! The two rivals then crashed and burned on the outside as Christian was left with Kozlov, but before anything could happen, the interference riddled match had even more interference, as Zack Ryder now came charging down.

Christian saw this coming, however he was occupied with Kozlov, who was now up on his feet as the Russian charged at Christian, who at the perfect moment dodged out of the way and sent Kozlov into the ropes, right into Ryder! The faces continued to defy the odds numbers wise, and when a dazed Kozlov stumbled into Christian, he was nailed with an Inverted DDT! The crowd gave a pop once again as Christian looked to move in for the kill, but Regal was up and had entered the ring, ECW Championship belt in his hand, with his back facing the entrance ramp, waiting for Christian to turn around. However, the crowd began cheering to Regal’s confusion, as from behind him, the fifth man in next week’s Number One Contender’s Match, Shelton Benjamin, had entered the ring, and tapped Regal on the shoulder. Regal then turned around, before Shelton pulled him in, and nailed a T Bone Suplex! The crowd once again popped as the Hurricane had entered the ring now once again, and with Jackson up on the outside of the ring, Hurri flew the second rope and hit Ezekiel with a Suicide Dive! Carnage was in and out of the ring as Shelton then hit an Over the Top Rope Crossbody to Burchill, and with no interference now assured, Christian pulled in a now standing Kozlov, and nailed the Killswitch! The crowd gave a big pop as the Hurricane and Benji now re- entered the ring, as Christian got the three and the win!

~Winners: CHRISTIAN and THE HURRICANE~

Styles: Carnage is in and out of the ring, Matt, as the fan favourites Shelton Benjamin, the Hurricane and Christian have laid out Regal’s Roundtable, Paul Burchill and Zack Ryder!

Striker: Joey, that was some of the craziest stuff I’ve ever witnessed, and next week, it will get even crazier!

Styles: That’s true, Matt, as next week there will be the huge 5 man Number One Contender’s Match, as well as William Regal going up against Tommy Dreamer in Extreme Rules! However, we’ve run out of time here on this week’s ECW. On behalf of myself and Matt Striker, goodnight, and we’ll see you next Tuesday night on SyFy!

Christian, the Hurricane and Shelton Benjamin are shown raising each other’s arms as the heels are laid out on both the inside and outside of the ring. This is the closing graphic of the first ECW after Survivor Series, with the faces standing tall over the heels, in what may be a sign of things to come next week in the Five Man Number One Contender’s Match.

The reasons for the draft were indeed to separate Raw as the main event brand and Smackdown as the future stars brand. The suspected reasons for the movements to and from Smackdown are as follows:

(Moved away from Smackdown)

The Undertaker: Moved away to avoid having to have him feud with Jericho in order to save the feud for a more special occasion. He fits in with Raw’s main event movement.

Batista: Moved to go with the main event movement on Raw, expected to be a top heel along Randy Orton; what Raw lacks.

Rey Mysterio: Moved to Raw to continue feud with Batista. Expected to move to midcard after feud and help elevate stars.

The Great Khali: With the new style of wrestling on Smackdown, there was no place for him.

(Moved to Smackdown)

Festus: Moved to rekindle team with Jesse.

Yoshi Tatsu: Moved to strengthen mid card and possibly be built up to the upper mid card in the future with Smackdown’s youth movement.

Kofi Kingston: Moved for youth movement and is expected to receive a push in the near future, after time in the mid card.

Mark Henry: Moved to strengthen tag division and upper mid card.

MVP: Moved to strengthen tag division and upper mid card.

Jack Swagger: Moved for youth movement, expected to be pushed extremely quickly to the main event as he is seen as a future world champion.

Brandon Powers and Cristina Legend were hired to be interviewers for the Smackdown and Superstars shows in the WWE. It is understood that they will take one show each. Brandon was a former TV presenter and Cristina was a porn star turned model. The duo was hired due to the skills on the microphone they displayed in the audition.

Creative have reportedly planned the whole way to Wrestlemania 26, a change from the WWE’s usual booking. They have realised that long term planning is the way to go and look to plan towards large events instead of going month to month.

WWE are looking to bring up a few talents from developmental and debut them on Smackdown soon enough. A few names are being discussed, the most prominent being Kaval, formerly Low Ki.

A superstar was released from TNA after booking disagreements and the WWE immediately snapped him up and signed him to the Smackdown brand. The man will be identified as soon as possible and is expected to debut on the first week of Smackdown.
