Re: UWF Tuesday Night Raw October 23rd Card

Oh yeah! Time for Christian to extract his vengeance on MVP. If only it was a Tables match :p

That main event looks amazing. Arguably the biggest challenge on Raw and the guy who could end Morrison's undefeated streak. That thread should be sick!

Looking forward to the show. The TTing and promos are starting to pile up for me as well as the Power 25. Busy busy :/

Tuesday Octoberr 23rd, 2012

The pyro to kick off the show explodes throughout the arena as the excited UWF Universe jump to their feet and cheer for the start of the show. The arena is packed to the rafters as many fans have brought along various types of signs. The cameras spin around the UWF arena showing a jammed pack arena, then go down to Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler!

michael_lawler_2.jpg

Michael Cole: Good evening everyone and welcome to UWF Tuesday Night Raw. We are just five nights away from King of The Ring? Who will become King when it's all said and done?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: It's down to Morrison, Angle, Mankind or Shawn Michaels. Only one of those men will be able to call themselves UWF's first King of The Ring.

Aaah!!!!

The one of a kind primal scream fills the Staples Center before the funky bass of "Catholi-Funk" starts to play. The fans cheer loudly as grey smoke engulfs the stage. Seen through that grey smoke is a silouette of a man. That man is the brand new General Manager of Raw; "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero. Dinero busts through the smoke, one arm out in front of the other as he glides down the entrance in traditional Dinero fashion.

D-Angelo-Dinero-tna-superstar-3.jpg

Dinero continues his way down the ramp before reaching the bottom. He stands tall at the end of the ramp and throws both arms in the sky. There is no Dinero Drop like usual, Pope's simply basking in his return to the wrestling world. Dinero tries not to enjoy this feeling too long as he makes his way towards the steel steps and climbs each one with a purpose. Dinero soon enters the ring, where Vince hands him the mic as he exits. The new GM is left all alone in the center of the ring as the L.A fans chant "Pope is Pimpin'". This is where Dinero begins his first promo.

0.jpg

"Pope" D'Angelo Dinero

Oh My Congregation!!

The fans pop at Dinero's trademark opening line.

Last week, Pope made a decision that may have not been so popular wit' all of Pope's congregation. Pope told ol' Stunnin' Steve Austin that after Sunday, he was goin' be out of a job. And all week, people have been askin', why Pope why? It's real simple. Throughout all of Steve Austin's career, he's done nothin' but what's best for himself. And whenever things ain't go his way, Stunnin' Steve Austin woul' take his ball and go home. Well Pope wasn't havin' it anymore. So Pope made his decision and Pope doesn't regret it one bit. Wit' that bein' said, tonight, Steve Austin is not in the buildin'. So come Sunday, Pope hopes that everyone soaks in the last remnants of Stunnin' Steve Austin's career, 'cause we've reached the last leg of the Austin 3: 16 tour. And honestly, Pope couldn't be any happier. See 'ya Sunday, 'ya bald head bastard.

And with that, Dinero drops his mic and smiles for the camera as Raw goes to its first commercial.

Raw heads backstage yet again, this time to the beautiful interviewer Lauren. Standing with her is Scott Steiner, Petey Williams and Rhaka Khan. The relationship between Williams and Steiner is extremely voliatile as we've seen thus far, but either way Lauren begins her interview.

swpdh4.jpg

Lauren: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest at this time, Scott Steiner.

Steiner flexes his muscles provactively for Lauren's "benefit". Either way, she shudders and asks her first question.

Lauren: Now Scott, later tonight, you go one on one with the UWF Hardcore Champion; James Storm. What are your thoughts on your opponent?

Before Steiner can answer, Williams steps in and grabs the microphone.

Petey Williams:His thoughts? You want to know his thoughts Lauren? How about my thoughts? How about my thoughts on being punked out last week? Scott, after your won your match, I came out to congratulate you. And you threw me to the side like I was one of your cheap toys. I don't appreciate that!

Steiner looks at Williams akwardly before answering.

Steiner: HUH? You don't appreciate it? What do I look like to you? I ain't no touchy feely fruity boy. Don't 'ya ever come to my ring again and try to put 'ya hands on me boy!

Williams: Look Scott, all I was trying to do was show you that I respect you. Do you think maybe you can do the same?

As sson as Williams finishes his sentence, Steiner slaps him hard across the face. This stuns Williams and his face turns a flush red.

Steiner: Respect? Boy, what have 'ya done to earn my respect. 'Ya have had one match and 'ya only won it cause of me, but I'm supposed to respect 'ya? Once 'ya do somethin' that is deserving of me respecting 'ya, then maybe I'll think about it. Until then, keep 'ya mouth shut and grab my bags.

And just like that, Steiner walks off. Lauren never even got to do her interview. She turns towards Petey and puts the mic in his face.

Williams: Oh, I'll get your respect. You just watch.

With that, Williams does as Steiner says and picks up his bags and follows Scott. Not too soon afterwards, we fade to black.

We're taken backstage and met with the face of Captain Charisma, Christian. There's the usual chorus of boos for the unpopular superstar, who, as usual, cannot hear them due to him standing backstage.

06_233.jpg

Christian: There's something going on in my world that I can't quite get my head around. I mean it's just such a coincidence that it all seems a little... a little set up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about it at all. In fact I'm pleased with how things are shaping, and I'd even go as far as to say that it's meant to be. Everything around me seems to be coming together quite nicely as I seek my vengeance, as I look to re-write history and alter the course of my career.

Christian pauses, grins, and quickly continues with what he has to say.

Christian: Now what I mean when I say that everything seems to be a little too coincidental is this. I began my UWF career with seven straight victories, amassing an undefeated streak that was envied by every single superstar in this company. It was put on the line in a UWF Championship match at The Great American Bash against Steve Austin, a match where I should've left as UWF Champion if it wasn't for Teddy Long greasing the palm of the official to ensure Steve left as champion. Details aside, my undefeated streak ended that night and I went on to be put through a Table eight days later on Raw by MVP, followed by being put on the shelf after being responsible for Cody and I's loss to Steve and Chris Jericho. Now if you haven't figured out what the coincidence is, I'm about to get to that right now.

Christian rubs his hands together in an attempt to hype up what he's about to say next.

06_266.jpg

Christian: So before I went on my brief hiatus, I lost my final three matches, but now my first three matches since returning are as if I'm looking in a mirror. I start with a match last week where I teamed with Cody Rhodes up against Steve Austin and MVP instead of Chris Jericho, and I continue that tonight with a match against MVP. And to top it all off, this Sunday night at King of the Ring I face Steve in a Hell in a Cell match. My final three matches before being placed on the shelf just so happen to be my first three since returning, but this time things will be different. The circumstances have changed and the Raw landscape has changed with it, yet one thing still remains. That one thing is that I deserve one... more... World Championship match.

Christian holds his finger up so everybody can see it.

Christian: I've reversed one result, and by the end of this week I will have reversed the other two, awarding MVP his second consecutive loss and handing him to Cody on a silver platter, but I'll also be ending the career of the legendary "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, the longest reigning UWF Champion in history, in the process. See I told Steve many times when we feuded all those months ago that I would end his career if I got my way, and although it should've been done there and then, with me standing here as the TRUE longest reigning UWF Champion in history, the fact remains that I'll remain true to my word. Sunday night I end Austin's UWF career, completing phase one of my Vengeance. As for phase two... I think that's fairly obvious and always has been.

Christian winks at the camera as he walks out of its view, leaving the UWF Universe guessing. They don't have long to think about it as Raw quickly moves on.

Big Mistake TNA

====================

After a stunning show down between Goldust and Chris Jericho, the cameras switch to an unknown room in a rather normal looking house. We see the kids in the living room playing Mario as mom finishes dinner. Mom is wearing an old fashioned Sticom dress and a classic Kitchen apron. Her hair reminds all of the mothers on the sixties tv. She notices the camera and looks a little nervous. But, instead of speaking, she simply points toward the end of the kitchen with a fearful look on her beautiful face. The camera turns to see a door at the end of the kitchen slightly opened. Suddenly, the camera stops hesitantly. Then, slowly almost reluctantly, we see a hand reach out and open the door. As the creaking door opens, we see stairs descending into darkness. After a long pause, the camera continues down into the darkness.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, the camera turns one way and, then, another looking for something. Over in the far left corner, sitting in the darkness, is a huddled form sitting in front of a television; which is the only light in the room. A closer look reveals a television screen replaying the match we just watched. In the light of the television, we see the mask and mangled image of Mankind taking it all in. Without taking his eyes off the television, Mankind begins to speak.

inthedark.jpg

You KNOW, I didn’t ask for any of this. I was content watching from the shadows and staying as far away the ring as possible. Lord knows, I can’t take my kids askin’ daddy why he’s wearing the mask again; knowing good and well that he’s back in the ring mangling and getting mangled. Never knowing which daddy’s gonna show up after the show! Praying that the one that smiled and played games with then would return.

Mankind suddenly becomes agitated and whips his head around and begins to scream.

BUT HE’S NOT, IS HE VINCE?!!!! That man is GONE! Thanks to you. Like I said, I NEVER ASKED FOR ANY OF THIS! I didn’t want it, but Vince wouldn’t leave it alone, would he. Put the mask back on, he said. Give us a look at the Mandible Claw for one more time, he said. Well, you know, Vince, I can’t pull a personality outta my pants like that damned sock!! When I put the mask on, it’s not like playing a part in a play. I’m not one of your actors playing at wrestling here, boss man!! When I put the mask on, I revisit a piece of me that I thought long lost; a piece of me that NOBODY wants to see again. Nobody but you, Vince.

Mankind jumps up and grabs the metal chair he was sitting on and bashes the television in as sparks and glass fly.

IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT, VINCE???! Cause this is what you’re gonna get from now on! This is what you get for ignoring all the warning signs down the highway to hell!! But, as much as I wanna blame ya, Vince, I really can’t. You were just playing a bit part in the grand drama written by FATE itself! Destiny, as it was, playing you like a puppet! We’re all trapped in this drama together, aren’t we? Vince, Shawny, Kurt and Johnny!! Ha!! Who knew I was such a poet!! The poet laureate of damnation!!! But we’re all trapped here unable to stop the downward spiral to the lowest layer of the abyss!! Johnny and all his immaculate good looks can’t stop it. Kurt and his medals won’t stop it. And Shawn…there’s no one from the clique coming to save you!! NO! This has to play out in the most unlikely of places; in the quest for the crown of the KING OF THE RING!!!

Mankind stops as if exhausted and slams his fists against the centerblock walls. As he leans on the wall, as if crumbling himself, he finishes.

mk124.jpg

The Stars are aligned. The players are in position. The prize has been set. And, now, all that’s left is the inevitable; the ascendance of the King of the twisted, mangled masses. That moment of Fate that none of us can hold back any longer. NO, I may have never asked for this. Vince may have never really wanted what comes next. And Kurt? Your years of expertise and experience mean nothing. Johnny, your bloated ego and impossible head of hair won’t help you. And, Shawy? The love of the fans is going to be cold comfort. No, there’s nothing any of you can do in the face of cruel, heartless destiny!

As the television sparks, showing us bits and pieces of the warped face of Mankind, he bellows out one last comment.

HAVE A NICE DAY!!!

wwe-mankind-mick-foley-tna-have-a-nice-day.jpg

The screen is black, no sound is made. There is no indication of the location. The sound of light breathing can be heard, but its location is also unknown. Suddenly laughter starts, it’s almost hysterical laughter. It’s a soft laughter, but still audible enough that you can hear it. Suddenly the sounds of the camera being shaken can be heard a flash light is suddenly turned on. The face of Christopher Daniels appears on the screen, an odd smile on his face. He looks at the camera for an awkward moment before finally speaking.

screen-capture-151.png

Christopher Daniels:
I find it amusing how we have such a thing called King of the Ring, yet all of the contestants are far from being royalty. You have a freak that hides behind a mask. You have a man who prides himself on shooting things in his backyard. You have a failed male porn star and an Olympic Gold Medalist who hasn’t yet realised that he has passed his prime. Although the same can be said for about three quarters of that group, and I’m sure I’ll get some comments asking me how old I am. You see, I don’t put myself in the same category as those mentioned. I am in a class all on my own. I know when I’m done, but it’s not now. I have put enough into this business to know well and good that I have a few more years left in me. This journey I have embarked on has shown me just that. It has shown me that my body hasn’t given up, that I shouldn’t either.

I haven’t given up, as much as a lot of you would like to believe. I have simply allowed my body to heal from the multiple injuries I have sustained over the many years of my career. This journey has taught me so much. It hasn’t spanned that long, but in this short time, I have finally seen something. What was lost has now been found, and now I find myself at a cross road. Should I continue on my travels, broadening my mind and soul? Or should I return to the ring, where all I’ll be met with is judging eyes, waiting for me to slip up? It’s quite possibly the toughest decision a man my age must think about. You see, in wrestling there are two types of people. Those who are complacent where they are, and are satisfied with it just so long as they get some kind of TV time. Then there are those who make an impact.

Cody Rhodes had taken nearly what, two years to make his impact? He couldn’t get it done for the longest time, and when he suddenly got the job done, everybody is shocked? I’m surprised he didn’t give up on his fifth attempt. Fact of the matter is though, he made his impact, and made sure we all know about it. Christian made his impact when he attacked Stone Cold. Same could be said for MVP. But where am I going with this you may ask. It’s simple; I’m here to make an impact. That’s exactly what I plan on doing. I don’t care what it takes, but I will make my name known to all. I could be hated for it, or I could be loved for it, that all truly depends on your perspective. But to think for a second that I will stand idly by while I watch the business I have tried to succeed in for so long, go in the crapper, that is just asinine!

Daniels stops in his rant as he looks down away from the camera and rubs his bald head as he has been apt to do lately. Daniels starts to giggle slightly as he finally looks back at the camera. His facial expression takes a serious one as he continues.

christopherdaniels.gif

What was once lost, has now been found my friends. My mind is so clear now; I have seen things you can only imagine of seeing. It has enlightened my core to the point where I believe the Heavens are shining brightly on me once again. They want this fallen angel to rise once more. I can feel it, almost as if a second energy is inside me. It’s as if all that I knew before was but a lie. And I see now what I must do. I fear for those who have to come across the new me. It’s something that has longed to be known for ages. Now that I have this new vigour, I finally see what my destiny is. I see where the path I choose leads me. It leads me to the thing I have desired ever since I came into this business. Finally, the fruits of my labour will have paid off! No more will I take the guff of those around me. I will be the Angel I am known for. I will continue to wow those who watch me as I impress them. My mind is now clear of all negative thoughts, and all I feel now is the positive energy of the Heaven’s guiding me! Watch out UWF! I’m coming back! I’m a new man, with a new mentality.

I now know why I have fallen, it was to redeem myself! I can’t explain it now, but in due time I shall! Next week, I will make my impact, just you wait and see! Friends! I can’t tell you how amazing I feel. After all those dark times I faced on this journey, there is now a light at the end of this tunnel. The path is clear of any obtrusions. I feel as though I have climbed a mountain, I have conquered the demons that threatened to take over my being. I see now that I have passed the test that was put forth against me. I can’t tell you how amazing it feels, but I can tell you, it was a struggle getting here. I was destroying myself mentally, thinking I would never get here. And now that I have reached the top of that ever rising mountain, I am ready.

With that final statement, Daniels turns off the camera.

Justin Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Detroit Michigan, weighing in at 265 pounds; "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner!

Out of the silence comes the wail of the siren...

Holla! If Ya Hear Me!

The arena is covered in a red hue as the music of Scott Steiner plays through the PA system. From behind the curtain, emerges the man with the largest arms in the world. Steiner is wearing his chain mail hood, sunglasses and ring gear as he stands out on the stage. Steiner flexes both of his massive biceps, and yells out at the crowd

"It's the Big Bad Booty Daddy, BITCH!"

IMG_4243_zps17cc0649.jpg

Scott starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring without Petey Williams or Rhaka Khan. Scott continues to walk down the ramp and when he reaches the bottom, he flexes right in front of the camera and kisses his bicep, before shoving the camera man out of the way. Steiner stomps up the steel steps and enters the ring through the middle rope. Steiner patiently waits for his opponent.

Justin Roberts: And his opponent, from Leapers Fort, Tennesse, weighing in at 256 pounds, he is the new UWF Hardcore Champion; the "Cowboy" James Storm!

SORRY...ABOUT YOUR DAMN LUCK!

The fans fill the arena with cheers as the theme song of James Storm hits the PA system. The Cowboy is seen walking through the curtain with a beer bottle in one hand. He heads down to the ring and prepares for his big time match up.

The bell rings and Steiner flexes in the direction of James Storm, which receives boos from the crowd. Storm wastes no time, charging at Storm, taking the Big Bad Booty Daddy with a short arm clothesline. Steiner falls to the canvas and Storm immediately goes for the first cover of the match…

1…

2…

Steiner kicks out!

As soon as Steiner kicks out, Storm grabs him by the arm and applies a standing arm bar. Storm wrenches the arm as Steiner gets to a knee. Storm does everything he can to put the pressure on Steiner, but Steiner is able to use his free arm to push Storm off him. Storm bounces off the far ropes after the shove and comes back at Steiner, who lowers his head. Storm sees this and leapfrogs over Steiner as he continues to run. Strom goes off the opposing set of ropes and once again charges at Steiner, who this time wraps both arms around Storm’s waist and throws him over the top with a belly to belly suplex. Storm’s body hits the canvas hard and Steiner goes for a cover…

1…

2…

Storm kicks out!

Cole: Both Storm and Steiner seem to be going full force to start this match.

As Storm kicks out, Steiner grabs his opponent by the neck and throws him towards the near corner. Steiner wastes no time following suit, running towards Storm before delivering a massive clothesline in the corner. After Steiner makes contact, Storm stumbles out of the corner and into the waiting arms of Scott Steiner, who throws Storm’s arm over his shoulder before lifting Storm off the canvas and performing a beautiful Fisherman’s suplex with a bridge…

1…

2…

Storm slaps Steiner in the stomach, breaking the pin in the process.

Both men manage to get to a vertical base at roughly the same time and when Steiner looks to go for another offensive maneuver, Storm catches him off guard with a standing enziguiri to the back of the head. Steiner now goes to the canvas and Storm goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Steiner kicks out!

King: Both Steiner and Storm have exchanged moves and covers so far.

Storm watches as Scott Steiner pushes himself to his feet. Once Steiner manages to get to a vertical base, Storm delivers a stiff right forearm directly to Freakzilla. This backs Steiner up and allows Storm to deliver another. The second forearm to the face knocks Steiner back onto the far ropes and allows Storm to grab him by the arm and Irish whip him to the far side of the ring. Mid-whip, Steiner is able to counter and send Storm off instead. As Storm runs the ropes and comes back at Steiner, Freakzilla is able to lift him off the canvas and perform a swift powerslam, which shakes the ring due to the force…

Cole: Scoop Slam!

King: Cole, how many times do I have to tell you that it’s a Powerslam?!

As Storm collides back first with the canvas, Steiner goes for a cover, hooking the far leg…

1…

2…

Storm kicks out!

Steiner looks at the referee with obvious disdain in his face. The referee holds up two fingers, letting Scott know that the match isn’t over. Steiner to his feet before getting in the referee’s face and flexes for him. Steiner yells at the referee “you wish you had arms this big†before Steiner is turned around by James Storm. Storm quickly leaves his feet, wrapping his arms around Steiner’s neck and bringing Steiner’s head down onto his knees with a Double Knee Facebuster. As Storm hits the high octane move, he goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Steiner rolls a shoulder!

As soon as Steiner kicks out, Storm gets to his knee in the ring. The camera pan in on Storm and the Cowboy is seen with a sinister smile on his face. Storm gets to his feet and does everything he can to hype the crowd up…

Cole: James Storm seems to be looking for some extra motivation from the fans.

The crowd begins stomping their feet and getting firmly behind their Cowboy. Storm heads to the nearest corner and begins stomping his feet in unison. This is his version of “tuning up the bandâ€â€¦

King: Storm may be looking for the Last Call!

Cole: Storm has put down many superstars with this Superkick! Can he add Steiner to the list?

Scott Steiner has crawled to the opposing side of the ring, reaching out for the ropes, looking for something to get to his feet. While he does this, James Storm is locked and loaded on the far side of the ring, just begging for Scott Steiner to get to his feet. Steiner indeed manages to do so and as he gets to his feet, Storm lunges out of the corner and attempts the Last Call…

King: Here it comes!

Steiner is ready for both Storm and the Last Call Superkick. As Storm’s right leg comes close, Steiner is able to grab it and block it. Steiner talks a little trash before throwing Storm’s leg back to the ground swiftly and catching Storm off guard with a discus clothesline. Storm falls to the canvas and Steiner stands tall over him. Steiner stretches his arm out before dropping an elbow right down on Storm’s chest, going for yet another pinfall…

1…

2…

Steiner gets off Storm and starts doing pushups in the middle of the ring!

Cole: I love this!

Steiner does his trademark pushups, all the while talking trash to the downed James Storm. The referee gets to a knee and tells Steiner to cover the man, but Steiner has no interest in doing so just yet. Steiner ceases his workout and goes back on the offensive. Steiner grabs Storm by the head and lifts him to his feet, but as he does, Storm surprises him with an out of nowhere sitout spinebuster. The ring yet again shakes upon impact as Storm hooks both of Steiner’s legs…

1….

2….

Steiner kicks out!

Cole: And these two continue to beat the hell out of each other!

Storm can’t believe that he didn’t put Steiner way with that one. Storm quickly moves the body of the fallen Steiner out of his way before heading towards the corner. Storm rests with his back to the turnbuckle for a second before pushing himself from the canvas to the second turnbuckle. Storm takes a quick breather as he watches as Steiner gets to a vertical base. As soon as Steiner gets up, Storm leaps off the middle rope and delivers a missile dropkick directly to Steiner’s face….

King: What impact!

After the dropkick, Storm quickly crawls over towards Steiner and goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Steiner kicks out!

Storm is just as shocked as everyone in the arena is. The Cowboy does not let this get to him though. He gets to his feet and makes a circular motion with his arm before screaming out “Whirly Bird†to the entire arena. Storm watches as Steiner again gets to a knee. Storm jumps right on him. Storm places Steiner’s head between his legs and attempts to lift him off the canvas, but Steiner deadweights him, blocking the attempt. Storm tries again, with the second time being just as successful as the first. Storm tries to lift Steiner a third time, but Steiner is able to counter and send James Storm overhead with a back body drop. Storm manages to roll through to avoid being hurt by the counter. He and Steiner both get to their feet and Storm charges right at Steiner, looking for a clothesline, but Steiner is able to duck under and bring Storm down onto the canvas with the Steiner liner…

King: Steiner liner!

An exhausted Scott Steiner rolls James Storm onto his back and covers him, hooking the leg…

1…

2…

Storm rolls a shoulder!

Cole: No way!

Steiner can’t believe it either, so he covers Storm again!

1…

2…

Storm kicks out!

Steiner looks at the referee with rage in his eyes. The referee once again holds up two fingers. Steiner looks down on Storm, who has now rolled onto his stomach. Steiner stands over the Hardcore Champion before telling everyone that it’s over….

King: I think I know what Steiner has planned here!

Steiner sits down on Storm’s back and grabs both of his arms, looking for possibly the Steiner Recliner. But as Steiner tries to apply his finishing submission, Storm is able to push Steiner off him and get to his feet behind him. In one swift motion, Storm is able to get to his feet and grab Steiner by the shoulders, leaving his feet and driving both knees into Steiner’s back with a backstabber. Steiner grabs his back in pain as Storm pushes him to the canvas and goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Steiner kicks out!

King: Unbelievable!

Storm shakes his head in frustration. Nonetheless, he gets to his feet and returns to his position in the corner. Storm slowly starts tapping his foot on the canvas yet again, looking to end this. The fans start clapping along again and as Scott Steiner gets to a vertical base, Storm leaps out of his corner and yet again tries to go for the Last Call Superkick…

Cole: He got him!

For the second time this match, Scott Steiner is ready for the Last Call. Steiner sidesteps him, before dropping to the canvas and performing an inside cradle, covering Storm in the process…

1…

2…

Steiner grabs the tights!

3…

Justin Roberts: Here is your winner; Scott Steiner!

Cole: This match was just ruined by Scott Steiner’s actions!

The bell rings again and Scott Steiner has his hand raised by the official. Steiner wipes the sweat of his brow before flicking it onto Storm. Steiner quickly leaves the ring, victorious but also exhausted. This is where Raw heads elsewhere.

The camera cuts backstage, as John Morrison is warming up in a corridor. The camera pans closer to him...

6454554.jpg

He turns to face it, and begins to speak.

Morrison: You may be wondering why there's no four-eyed dork trying to shove a microphone down my throat this week; it's because Todd Grisham is officially banned from interviewing John Morrison. No man who owns a Val Venis action figure should ever be allowed to interview the Guru of Greatness. With that being said, allow me to tell you exactly what's going down this week in UWF.

Morrison slides an elbow pad up his arm, as he continues his match preparation.

Morrison: Tonight, I'm marching down that ramp and I'm beating the UWF Champion. I'm doing so not only because I can, but because I'm sending a statement to everybody out there who thinks that they're capable of stopping me. You think you're the guy to do it? Think again. Look at what I'm going to do the champion of this brand and watch at how he drowns in the significance of the challenge that stares him in the eye later on tonight. After I've beaten Cody Rhodes, I'm then storming into King of the Ring, and I'm beating not just one, but two men in one night. Shawn Michaels steps up first, and he will be put down accordingly. After that, whether it be Mankind or Kurt Angle, they will fall by the same sword.

Morrison slips his other elbow pad on and stands...

Morrison: The time for talking is over. John Morrison is ready to be crowned King.

Morrison departs, leaving the camera to fade to black.

The camera roll into Shawn Michaels locker room where he is starring into a mirror

n1360614400_235621_7081.jpg

HBK: Over twenty-five years you've been doing this. You have proven them time after time as to why you are everything you say you are. You have defined all the odds. You have come back from an injury in which that most people wouldn't have even tried. Everyone doubted you before the back injury, telling you, you were too small, that you couldn't be one of the greats, that you couldn't be the main eventer, that no one wanted to see you compete for over an hour. But you proved them wrong. Then even after your injury, you bounce back four years later and the doubt still continues. They wanted you to stay home and never to compete again. But once again, you defined all the odds and even had a World Title reign, talk about defining the odds again!

HBK lowers his head and slowly looks back up again

HBK: And now you have young ignorant punks who doubt you once again. They say you're to old, that you shouldn't be doing this anymore. That they are the future of this business. Well guess what, until I am gone for good and away from all this, you will always be the man, you will always be the show stoppa, you will always be the headliner, the main event, the icon, and Mr. WrestleMania. It doesn't matter what John Morrison has to say about you because his disrespect is just like James Storm's and look what you did to James Storm. Even an older guy like Kurt Angle doubts you and that's because he feels he's in a class of his own, but he may be right, but that class is not in the same league you are. You are in a league of your own. Even Mankind is in his own league, he may be the wild card, but much like when you and him last faced off at Mind Games, you can out think someone like him.

HBK once again lowers his head and again slowly brings it back up and smirks at the mirror in which his eyes look into the camera

HBK: John Morrison, it doesn't matter what crap that comes out of your mouth. The lies you claim that you are a great talent, but yet has proven to be a top contender in this business has made you into a weaker individual. For someone to come out and lie to themselves and the rest of the world is something that I am going to thrive upon at The King of the Ring. Maybe for once you'll worry about your in-ring talent rather than your looks because at the end of the day, the fans, myself, your peers, and even you know, that you'll never be better than me and I am the best you have ever faced. This Sunday at The King of the Ring, I am going to beat the respect into you. And if this doesn't send you a message, well then maybe this will.......

HBK turns his head to the camera and gives it sweet chin music and makes the camera all static

Justin Roberts: The following is a Champion versus Champion Main Event, scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 225 pounds; he is the UWF United States Champion John Morrison!

The crowd are on their feet as John Morrison struts out onto the stage and poses on the stage, as the camera captures the moment in glorious slow motion.

15554846.jpg

Morrison then strides down the ramp, eying the arena around him. He climbs the steel steps and steps into the ring. Morrison saunters across the ring and clambers up onto the turnbuckle. He poses for the fans, as countless camera flashes go off before him. He steps down, and wanders over to the other corner of the ring.

Roberts: And his opponent, from Marietta, Georgia, weighning in at 225 pounds; he is the UWF Champion; Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes comes out through the curtain with his hood over his head, when the music hits he flips it off revealing a big smile on his face. He cockily walsk down the ramp with the UWF Championship proudly wrapped around his waist. Rhodes wastes no time entering the ring and waiting for his opponent.

The bell rings and this contest between United States Champion and UWF Champion has begun. The two Champions lock up in the center of the ring with a collar and elbow tie up. Morrison is the first to act, trying to push Cody Rhodes off his feet. Cody responds by pushing back and both men return to their original positions. Cody Rhodes is first to go on the offensive, grabbing Morrison by the arm and performing a hammerlock. Cody wrenches at the arm as Morrison pulls both himself and the UWF Champion towards the nearest set of ropes. Morrison holds onto the ropes with his free arm as Rhodes continues to keep the hammerlock applied. As Morrison holds onto the ropes, leaps from the canvas onto the nearby middle rope, using it as a springboard and making his way back over to the UWF Champion, wrapping both legs around Rhodes’ head and taking him to the canvas with a hurricanarana. The UWF Champion flops to the center of the ring and the United States Champion rushes to the cover of this huge main event…

2….

Rhodes kicks out!

Morrison wastes no time getting off Rhodes after he kicks out. Morrison propels himself off the near ropes and comes back at the downed Champion before leaving his feet and dropping a knee right across Rhodes’ throat. The UWF Champion grabs his neck and throat in obvious pain as Morrison goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Rhodes rolls another shoulder!

Cole: In the early goings of this Champion versus Champion bout; it’s been all John Morrison.

As soon as Rhodes rolls his shoulder, Morrison gets off the UWF Champion and heads over to the ring apron. Morrison exits the ring through the middle rope and begins making his way to the top. Slowly but surely, Morrison climbs each rung until he reaches the top. But just as he does, Cody Rhodes shakes the nearest set of ring ropes, causing Morrison to lose his balance and fall groin first onto the top turnbuckle. Cody Rhodes wastes no time climbing to the top, meeting Morrison at the summit. Once both men are perched in the precarious position at the top of the ropes, Rhodes meets Morrison with stiff right hands to the side of the head, which rock the United States Champion. As Morrison is suffering from the effects of the blows to the head, Rhodes throws Morrison’s arm over his shoulder before bringing both men off the top and to the canvas with a thunderous superplex. The ring shakes upon impact as both men lay still on the mat…

Cole: And Cody Rhodes’ first offensive move in this match is a big one! Let’s take another look.

*Instant replay*

Rhodes throws Morrison’s arm over his shoulder before bringing both men off the top and to the canvas with a thunderous superplex. The ring shakes upon impact as both men lay still on the mat…

As both men lie still, the referee has no choice but to begin his 10-count…

1…

2…

3…

4…

5…

6…

Cody Rhodes crawls over to Morrison and covers the United States Champion…

1…

2…

Morrison rolls a shoulder!

King: An impressive move by Cody Rhodes!

Cole: Impressive, maybe! But it’s going to take more than that to defeat the Guru of Greatness!

Cody Rhodes manages to push himself off the canvas and to his feet. Morrison, on the other hand searches for the ropes, looking for anything to pull himself up to a vertical base. He does, but what Morrison does not realize is that Cody Rhodes is behind him and ready to strike. As soon as Morrison gets to his feet, Rhodes grabs him and looks for a belly to back suplex. Morrison is ready for this and is able to shift his body weight and use the momentum to land on his feet behind Rhodes. Morrison quickly spins Rhodes around and performs a step up enziguiri. At Morrison beings his foot around, Rhodes ducks under it and Morrison falls back first to the mat. Rhodes is still in firm control of one of Morrison’s legs and quickly grabs the other, interlocking them and performing a jackknife cover on Morrison…

1…

2…

Morrison kicks out!

Both men manage to get to their feet at the same time and Morrison is first to connect with a leaping back leg lariat. Rhodes goes back to the canvas where Morrison performs a standing leg lariat. Morrison crashes down hard on Rhodes and goes for another cover…

1…

2…

Rhodes kicks out!

Cole: John Morrison has hung with the champ so far!

Morrison gets to his feet and watches as Rhodes crawls over towards the far ropes and uses them to get to his feet. Morrison walks next to Rhodes before springboarding yet again and spinning in midair, looking for the Flying Chuck Kick as Rhodes gets to his feet. Rhodes has it scouted and ducks under. Morrison lands on his feet and turns his attention back to Rhodes, the UWF Champion connects with a boot to the stomach, which doubles Morrison over and allows Rhodes to hit him with a snap DDT. Rhodes floats over and covers Morrison…

1…

2…

Morrison kicks out!

Rhodes gets back to his feet and motions to the crowd that this match is over. Rhodes watches as Morrison tries to pull himself to a vertical base. Rhodes positions himself Morrison and as Morrison gets to his feet, the UWF Champion wraps his arm around Morrison’s neck…

King: Cross Rhodes!

Rhodes does indeed look for his finishing move, but before he can hit it; the fans begin to cheer…

Cole: What the?

Before Rhodes can hit his finish, running down the ramp and into the ring is Rhodes’ opponent this Sunday, MVP! MVP immediately tackles Rhodes and begins pummeling him with right hands to the face. The referee calls for the bell as MVP beats on the UWF Champion. Morrison comes over and tries to pull MVP off Rhodes, and when he does, MVP drops him with a right hand. MVP turns his attention back to Cody Rhodes, who meets him with a low blow. MVP falls to the canvas and like a predator; Cody Rhodes jumps on him. Morrison gets back to his feet and jumps on MVP, after delivering that right hand. The two form an evil duo, and take care of MVP until…

King: That’s Shawn Michaels!

Shawn Michaels runs down the entrance ramp and into the ring, going right after John Morrison. The rivalry between these two has become personal over the past few weeks. Morrison and Michaels roll around the ring, exchanging right and left hands. As the two men fight, Cody Rhodes and MVP are going at it on the other side of the ring as well. Michaels gets the upper hand on Morrison and beats the hell out of John Morrison. As Michaels continues to rain down the fists, the arena fills up in boos as Kurt Angle makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. Michaels hears the crowd reaction change, so he gets off Morrison and meets Angle as he enters the ring. Michaels goes or a right hand, but Angle ducks under and goes behind Michaels, hitting him with a German suplex. Morrison is getting to his feet and Angle quickly goes after him, hitting him with a German suplex as well. Angle throws the straps down and turns his sights back to Shawn Michaels. Angle reaches a new gear and is ready to bring the hammer down on Shawn Michaels. But before he can…

King: It’s Mankind!

Mankind comes running down the ramp and into the ring, where he goes right after Kurt Angle. These two will meet in five days. Mankind bashes Angle’s head on the mat, before proceeding to bite it. Angle shoves Mankind off him and when both men get to their feet, Foley quickly kicks Mankind in the stomach before hitting a Double Arm DDT. Foley is the only man standing, but it doesn’t last for long as he celebrates, he is cut down by a vicious Spear!

Cole: It’s Bedlam! What’s Christian doing out here!?

Christian almost speared poor Mankind out of his boots. Christian watches as Shawn Michaels is getting to his feet and as soon as Michaels does, Christian takes him down with a Spear as well. Morrison is next to get to his feet, and he meets the same fate…

King: Christian is Spearing everything that moves!

Everyone is down, except for Christian and Cody Rhodes; who stands tall on the outside after disposing of MVP. Christian and Rhodes exchange glances before Christian motions for the UWF Championship. Usually, this is where Raw goes off the air, but not tonight because…

The iconic music of one “Stone Cold†Steve Austin begins playing and the crowd goes crazy. Christian looks around, wondering where exactly Austin will come at him from…

Cole: I thought Austin was banned from the building!

Christian continue to look around as he begins sweating; wondering where Austin is going to strike from. Just then, someone rushes through the crowd and enters the ring.

King: He’s here! Austin’s here!

Austin quickly enters the ring, delivering right hands directly to the face of his opponent on Sunday. The right hands stun Christian and knock him backwards just long enough for Austin to kick him in the stomach and hit him with a Stone Cold Stunner!

Cole: Stunner!

Christian flops and rolls to the outside of the ring. Stone Cold gets to his feet and the fans cheer him. Austin asks for a few beers from his personal barkeep. Austin cracks the beers open before climbing to the top rope and performing his traditional beer bash celebration.

King: By God! On Austin’s last Raw, he’s going out the way he wants to!

25.jpg

The last thing we see before Raw goes off the air is Austin celebrating.

OOC: This is getting real old.

Re: Abbreviated UWF Tuesday Night October 23rd Edition

Not to anger you or anything, but my promo seems to be in there twice. Other than that, great show, considering what you were given.

Awesome abreviated Raw my man. I'm totally fine with my match being in there. Like AJ Styles squashing the Undertaker, especially just coming back would be to banana's. Good job though really wanted to see how the storylines would unfold. I liked the Christian, and Steiner promo. Solid Daniels promo best one yet. Austin and Pope feud has been entertaining, and hopefully TTing for KOTR starts up.

Re: Abbreviated UWF Tuesday Night October 23rd Edition

darn I knew I didn't get my promo in on time, no worries I'll try and edit it around for next time. Good show my man I understand where your coming from as far as tting goes, especially with the effort put forth it's actually unfair the quality of shows we get with the lack of tts. I hope people wake up and get back into doing what they said they would do when they joined up. That said I can't wait for the Kotr, and I'll be getting a tt up as soon as I can.

Re: Abbreviated UWF Tuesday Night October 23rd Edition

Totally understandable that this show is what it is. If people don't have the decency to TT, they don't deserve anything more. They're also ruining it for those of us who do take the time to TT and submit promos.

I'm still counting it as a win for Christian this week, and I think Chase should do the same for Styles. I'll factor that into the Power 25 rankings too as it wouldn't be fair on the both of us if it wasn't.

I hope everything turns around for you, Cwalker, but I've noticed the same guys no-showing these past few weeks so I'd say their time here is finished.
