@JacobFox pointing out that Saudi is a place dumb enough to murder an American journalist as a possible explanation for this whole situation isn't akin to saying that the Saudis are thinking of murdering all these wrestlers stuck there.

It could just be a case of them wanting to punish Vince by making it hard for him to deliver Smackdown the way he wanted by creating some false "mechanical issue" claim.

But whatever, this is clearly a work anyway, just like the Screwjob.

But why would they want to punish Vince exactly?

There were rumors among talent that Vince McMahon got in some kind of disagreement in Saudi Arabia, though I haven't been able to fully confirm that.

I don't have all the answers. But maybe that is why

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet adds a second charter took off, but other talent got a hotel and are still in Saudi Arabia. Fightful Select has learned that Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bray Wyatt, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Scott Dawson, Dash Wilder and a few others were on the charter that left Saudi Arabia.
....I really don't want to be that person but why is Lashley and Revival in that charter? They're RAW guys, from a business perspective surely you would want as many smackdown people to the show if they do make it.

The superstars as reag shown above are finally back....but there are still many unanswered questions, and its not entirely over with...seeing as...well.

Yeah, im still on the "somethings not quite right about this" side of things.

UPDATE - It just keeps getting...more interesting..

It would explain the whole dissagreement thing the talent theorized about, as i said i will continue to update yall as this strange situation continues.

Smells like a Red Herring
Perhaps, or perhaps not, its looking more and more like the Saudis havent payed WWE for their last 2 shows. Them not paying WWE would explain vince having a dissagreement or something with them, the whole getting as many talent as they can to say the issue was a mechanical issue (Mojo rolly made a video already speaking in arabic which ive heard is kinda creepy) its a little strange, and them not paying WWE just adds fuel to the fire.

multiple WWE superstars, namely those who were stuck have expressed never wanting to go there again, buddy murphy being one of them, rusev saying they needed all the prayers aswell isnt something you typically say just because your flights delayed..

And now there is a chance Saudi Arabia didnt even pay WWE for having the event?

I havent a clue where this will lead down the road, but im curious to see it, whatever this turns out to be in the end.

But on the other side, Atlas Air who are responsible for the aircrafts back and forth between Saudi Arabia released this yesterday.
“A chartered WWE passenger flight operated by Atlas Air is currently delayed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia due to a mechanical issue. The flight was scheduled to depart at 0300 local time on November 1. Our top priority is always to ensure our passengers arrive safely and on time at their destination. The aircraft is being repaired and will be inspected and certified before returning to service to transport our passengers to their final destination. We regret that operational disruptions delayed the flight and apologize to our passengers who were inconvenienced.”

Rather than do political conspiracies since I am not being paid for this, my two thoughts on the matter are.

Regardless why it happened, whether the Saudi Crown did something or technical issues, whatever, it is a showing of why you don't book two shows on opposite sides of the world in back to back days.

Second, thankfully they all got back safe. Regardless of how I feel about the shows there, it sucks to be away from home due to travel issues in any part of the globe.

So a AAA wrestler says Vince cut of the live feed for lack of payment, but the part I want to comment on is this:

"Savinovich asserted that this was not a hearsay rumor, and that he heard this from someone with direct knowledge of the situation."

Um, that is the very definition of hearsay.
