Well it'll be nice but ... I dunno. Just doesn't have that oomph that it once had.

True. But The Brazilians love Wandy and Jose Aldo. Think it will do alright PPV numbers, last time they were in Brazil for a PPV Aldo defeated Chad Mendes and Belfort defeated Anthony Johnson and the show did 300K PPV buys, it might do a little better but honestly i can't even see myself buying this show when i could stream it for free.

UFC 142 was an amazing card with awesome finishes. I'm sure this card will definitely deliver too. And with Aldo being on there it will be that much better. Just depends on who he fights against. Wandy and Aldo fighting on the same Brazil card... those folks down south are gonna go ballistic. I mean seein how they reacted to Aldo at 142... its gonna be even bigger this go around. And then to have Wandy and Vitor... mannnn we gonna have ourselves another party down there.

Well, Aldo is staying on the UFC 149 card so i guess Wandy/Vitor are going to be maineventing here. Other fights on this card include the TUF: Brazil Finales and Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Russow. They're going to have to do work to add another solid fight to this card either that or put it on Free TV.

Good that they managed to find another stadium to hold the event in but they desperately need some more star power to make this event interesting for those outside of Brazil. Based on the rumoured card I won't be buying this PPV.

Didn't even bother to watch the last Brazil card because it looked shit, but this one thankfully looks a bit better.

Obviously it's lost it's buzz when it lost the Chael fight, but I'll czech it out mainly for the main. Still a big Belfort fan despite him losing a step in recent years.

Here's the poster for this PPV, it's small so I'll try to find a better one later on.

Vitor Belfort vs. Wanderlei Silva
Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Russow
The Ultimate Fighter:Brazil Middleweight Tournament Finale
The Ultimate Fighter:Brazil Featherweight Tournament Finale
Milton Vieira vs. Felipe Arantes
Yuri Alcantara vs. Hacran Dias

Obviously not the strongest card right here and also I'd like to point out how awkward Mike Russow looks on this poster :lmao

The card I'm not looking forward too, so it's a good thing this show is in Brazil as those fans will eat this card up but would be an epic failure anywhere else in the world.

Re: UFC 147: Belfort vs. Silva II

So this is being treated like the Ultimate fighter Brazil season finale.... Wow smart move Dana. I mean it is showing here in the US for me on fuel, and than you will promote these kids on a PPV that casuals can buy. Smart marketing. Two thumbs up. BTW no sarcasm this is a smart move.

Re: UFC 147: Belfort vs. Silva II

I really hope Vitor takes this one and maybe fight Mark Munoz or Brian Stann and if he wins then he gets another shot at the title.
