Kind of misleading thread title as its not officially confirmed yet, but its expected to be announced this week in Sao Paulo on June 16th.

Wanderlei vs Belfort and the TUF Finale is apparently slated for the event too.

So psyched already for this.

No problem, thread had to be made anyways.

But yeah they better do a UFC Prime time for this fight, it's going to add to this fight and make the build up to it a hell of a lot better.

I don't know about Wandy/Vitor being a good fight. Wandy looked good and Le, but I still see him taking a KO from Vitor.

Also the finals for TUF Brazil is suppose to be on the card also. Really don't expect much of a undercard as they'll hope for huge buys with Silva/Sonnen and the gate will be huge based on that match alone.

Both Silvas will win here, at least I hope.

If i had it my way, neither would win. Anderson unfortunately will pull off some weird ass shit and get the win though.

:cryme:

His laugh at the end of that video is hilarious, can't wait to see more from him leading up to the fight.

The Sonnen/Silva fight alone sells the PPV for me. I want to see how the rematch goes and I want to see the crowd reacting to the whole situation. The crowd will be intense and a Sonnen win could spark a riot and part of me wants to see that happen. Not really too fussed about the rest of the card, it is just a bonus to go along with this fight.

Show could probably be a sell out if only Sonnen/Silva was on the card, there's so much hype and personal problems behind it and it's only continue to grow.

I've been an MMA fan for around 7/8 years and its easily the biggest fight in company history, IMO.

People can say Griffin/Bonnar and Tito/Shamrock did more for the sport, but the way the first fight went at UFC 117 put Chael on a pedestal like nobody before, Anderson was considered unbeatable at that point yet Sonnen talked the most shit and rolled in there to back it up.

If only Diaz had beat Condit, 2012 would of been the year of the grudge match.

Are UFC booking this event in a soccer stadium so they can get 50k+ at the event or did they relent and put it in a smaller stadium? I would hope that they would go for the biggest arena possible since they will sell it out no matter what.

They're still trying to put it in a soccer stadium but haven't really given out any details on it lately. Would be cool to see it though as i think in Brazil they could easily sell that thing out.
