That's not really a bad main card for this show, better than what it would've been if they had left the show in Canada. Don't think that's the official poster because it only features Jones but i found it on UFC.com and just wanted to get a thread up for this show, because it's going to get a lot of attention with Jones/Rashad fighting on it.

I'm pumped. I told my friend. Feb. 17th gonna go on ticketmaster and get my tickets. Hopefully we can get them a day early or something. I just hope I can get them before they sell out cause those are gonna sell like hotcakes.

I'll be watching for sure. Alot of those main card names ring a bell to me even if i'm not familiar with their work.

IDK man, card kinda sucks.

Some good fighters on there like Torres, Homnick and Schaub, but they're in one-sided fights.

Needs a solid co-main I think.

Yeah the card isn't the most solid but... the main event is almost guaranteed to deliver.

Got me and two others going thus far. Gonna be awesome. Can't wait to see Bones and Shad.

Bucket list item can finally be checked off.

Awesome.

Deffinetely think I'm going to get tickets to the UFC Fx 3 show, won't be nearly as good as this show but still seeing Nate Diaz live will be pretty awesome.

Jon Jones isA lot different than a lot of people think. Jon Jones has a persona that he does for TV and when you get to know Jon Jones personally he’s nothing like he is on TV. He is kind of fake. That’s the only way to put it is that he is just fake. I don’t want to say anything too much but I’m just trying to say he’s fake, he’s not real. But that’s something he is going to have to deal with himself. You can be fake all you want to but the only person you are hurting is yourself.”

“Suga” Rashad Evans recently too to UFC Tonight to talk about a multitude of topics, one of which was his thoughts on his UFC 145 opponent and UFC 205 champ, Jon Jones

He's fake but I won't say why! Piss off Rashad.

I was waiting for him to say how he was fake as well. How is this on screen persona different to his real life persona or is Rashad just sick of fans booing him.

Can't wait for this fight to finally happen, been delayed for quite some time and it will be a big challenge for Jones. Still can't see him losing because he has been so impressive so far in all his fights.

The rest of the card is alright but this is all about the mainevent and that will sell the PPV.

Extremely excited for this event. I agree, it's got a solid main card, but at the end of the day it's all about the Main Event.

I said that if Jon Jones can beat Lyoto Machida decisively, that I'd hop back on the bandwagon (was on it before Bader fight but hopped off before Page fight), and he did just that. Rashad has grown on me though. I've decided that for this fight I won't root for anyone, will just sit back and hope for a good fight.

It didn't take long for kickboxing ace and undefeated MMA fighter Stephen Thompson to get his next fight after a first round knockout win in his UFC 143 debut. He'll take on fellow UFC 143 victor Matt Brown at April's UFC 145 in Atlanta, GA.

Thompson (6-0, 1-0 UFC) used a great head kick to knock out Dan Stittgen in the opening bout of UFC 143, but he'll face a much more experienced fighter in Brown (13-11, 6-5 UFC) who beat Chris Cope by second round TKO on the same event. After three straight second round submission losses, the 31-year-old came through and beat John Howard in a must-win situation.

Glad to see Thompson back in action so soon, guy had one hell of a KO win at UFC 143.

Quick turnaround for those two guys, around two months between fights. At least both have the same recovery and preparation time so neither can use it as an excuse. Hopefully Thompson can bring out another one of those head kicks in this fight.
