This is based on the assumption that WWE would keep him in developmental for two years, which imo is highly unlikely. I agree with Dust, I don't see WWE keeping him there for long at all.

Even if does not go to NXT for long, he would still be labeled inside the WWE creative as the "TNA guy" for a long, long time - we're talking 3-4 yrs minimum. Do the math - he's 40-42 yrs old (again).

So, I don't see him going to WWE and succeeding.

Objection. Your honor this is pure speculation with nothing of merit to back this floundering opinion.

What does AJ have to lose by going to WWE? He's done all he can do at TNA. If he goes to WWE and succeeds, all the more power to him. If he doesn't go as well as planned, TNA will take him back with open arms. He doesn't lose anything by going to WWE.

RVD and Christian went to TNA, are they being treated fairly in the WWE? Self explanatory. I seem to think that you're just throwing everything against WWE here since you're a pro-TNA fan.

I don't think WWE will be stupid enough to bury AJ Styles since he's a TNA guy, but actually push him due to his accomplishments, accolades and ability.

Time will tell I guess. I stand by my opinion, and if you've read the recent HHH interview on some ESPN website, you'd be agreeing with me partly.

And ffs Saylor, WWE isn't Satan. I'm not against it. I don't watch it, but I'm not against it. I just don't see THE TNA guy making success in WWE.

RVD and Christian - they cam BACk to WWE. They aren't TNA talents. That makes Christian and RVD a horrible examples, just saying.

Can't see WWE recognizing AJ's TNA success as anything special, given most of their fans don't.

Also after they've essentially been building up this heel faction for a year and a quarter to make AJ Styles a star... dammit, AJ better not leave them before or after that.

But as D'Z said he'll probably get resigned.

I know for a fact WWE wouldn't hype AJ's TNA career, but they wouldn't need to. It is like Zayn/Generico. They won't hype his Indy career as mattering, but his endless talent will get him pushed. Same with AJ.

I really can't see AJ being a top guy in WWE. They wouldn't waste their time to invest someone who is nearly in their 40's.
He'd probably in a Kofi Kingston role or maybe worse.

Age is just a number. AJ is still in tremendous shape and is a guy I can see taking care of himself and wrestling well into his 40s at a very high level.

Its not like the guy doesn't know how to work a TV match either. Dude's a veteran of the majors. And there is no news on AJ having an ego like Low Ki.

Cant wait to see AJ in the WWE Mid card wasteland. I find him to be extremely over rated. Talented, I'll give him that, I have never seen him as someone to build a company around.

Well, touche, because he built (not single-handendly, but still) TNA. He was Mr. TNA for 10 years of TNA's 11. I don't know how many TNA shows/matches have you seen in your life, but to call him overrated talent is simply redundant imo.

Caught TNA during their weekly ppvs. First match I saw was AJ Styles vs Jerry Lynn match two out of the best of three. I think it was for the X Division championship. You can claim he built TNA or had a hand on it, but let be real here, that's like saying, "That crack whore over there, yeah I hit that." Helping to build a dysfunctional show, which gets complete murdered by Total Divas in ratings is not something to put on a resume.

Fact is he was the face of the company when it was niche and irrelevant. Now he is no longer the face of the company when its somewhat bigger and still irrelevant.

"Caught TNA" , "dysfunctional show" , "murdered by Total Divas in ratings", "niche and irrelevant", "still irelevant".

Holy shit man, I have no business discussing something with someone ignorant and barely TNA-educated person like you. I just can't. I'd rather talk with Crayo on Skype.
