TNA Star going back to WWE ?

for whatever reason morgan always kinda reminded me of undertaker when he was in wcw.hes a guy that just needs the right opportunity to be a huge superstar.taker got his chance and ran with it.morgan could do the same if given the right gimmick by wwe.boy oh boy did he have a shit gimmick last time.

I definitely see WWE offering him a deal when his TNA one expires. They will have seen how much he has improved over the past four years and he is pretty much ready made to jump into the upper midcard in WWE. From the sounds of the interview Morgan would be receptive to an offer if WWE offer him the right amount of money. I do think that he will want to work for the top company and work infront of tens of thousands of fans. TNA have dropped the ball with him, how he hasn't become champion there yet I do not know and as crazy as it sounds he may have a better chance of becoming world champion in WWE. Can see him jumping into the title scene on Smackdown next year, would be a good fit.

I never found Morgan interesting at all. Who would he be in WWE? WWE would change his moveset entiryly so he would be a totally different wrestler than he's in TNA right now.

I don't think that they would change too much. They would see that he can wrestle and he can talk and he is a giant so he is massively appealing to WWE. I can see them giving him some leeway in keeping a similar moveset if they do get him to sign. As long as they don't make him stutter again, the less said about that terrible WWE gimmick the better.

The time is about right for him to give WWE another go, but really I only see him excelling as a midcarder at best. I don't think he has improved that much since leaving there, I still find his matches to be unremarkable and he is quite sloppy. Ok TNA could have pushed him more, but he did get the chance with Angle and he blew it.

For a big man I think that he is actually quite a good wrestler. Plus he fills a need for WWE. Look at the tall big men they have now, Undertaker, Kane, Khali, Lord Tensai, Big Show and you could add Wade Barrett as well. The first five won't be full time wrestlers in a couple of years time so WWE need to get some new big men to replace them. Matt Morgan is the perfect choice to fill that gap. To me he screams money and mainevent, I think that he has all the attributes to make it big but hasn't managed to get the booking behind him yet.

I agree that he would be worth another go, I did like his promos in WWE, it was just a horrible gimmick and he was very green as a wrestler at the time. Trouble with TNA is they have not worked to his strengths and have just booked him as a typical big man. I just don't rate him as highly as you, but would be interesting to see what he could do with the right push.

When he was in WWE he had only had at most two years experience so he was incredible green and to go with the stuttering gimmick it was never going to work.

With TNA I was always surprised that they didn't do more with him after his season long run on American Gladiators which was broadcast to a much larger audience than Impact. Surely you take advantage of that mainstream exposure and push him to the top to capitalise off it.

I like Morgan, and I'd really like to see him in some high profile matches in WWE.

Personally getting tired of people leaving WWE (fired or on their own) then having TNA build them up only to leave TNA for WWE. I mean at some point it's obvious that these people have no sense of loyalty.

But by the time his contract is up he would have been in TNA for five years, sounds pretty loyal to me, and it was WWE who released him.

TNA isn't really that big. Matt Morgan did get his start in WWE did he not? Seems right to go back and finish there.

I could see him in a Kane/Big Show type role. High Midcard Giant that can be both face and heel. I'd have no problem with it.

I could see Cornette easily trying to tempt him to goto ROH, if he were to leave TNA and not sign with WWE and just work the indies instead, with the door being left open for him to return to TNA in the future.
