Re: TNA releases Tara & DOC

TNA should just release Hogan so we can get an angle in WWe with him and Zeb fighting over the name rights to "Real AMerican". Winner gets the entrance music match at Mania.....Book it!

Re: TNA releases Tara & DOC

Don't agree with Tara's release, her first run there was a let down but since her return she has been one of the most reliable performers in the company and a strong heel too.

Have to disagree with deezy that she wasn't a draw in WWE she was the best female at playing a killer heel and really worked well with Trish while she was still quite green. To me she can be an ascent to anyone.

A few hardcore matches make you aa draw? She was filler until Jazz came back from injury and got the spot at Mania with the two only draws the Divas' division had.....Trish and Lita.

And atlaeast I can go back to calling her Victoria, Tara just never clicked with me.

NOTE: Merged the two threads together as they cover the same thing, TNA releases in the month of July.

Add D'Lo Brown and Bruce Pritchard to the list of releases. Big chance to get rid of the head of creative in Pritchard. Ratings have been down lately so maybe he is paying the price for that. Wonder who gets the book now with him gone?

TNA still shying away from releasing any big names that would be getting big paychecks.

Getting rid of Bruce Pritchard was paramount, he doesn't get as much blame as Russo for being a shitty booker, atleast Russo has success. Pritchard didn't do shit, he was in the booking committee when WWF was at it's lows in the 90s, he was in WCW when they died. he weasels his way into any company and I don't know how guys a Terry Taylor level stooge.

One booker isn't going to fix TNA, they need to just get rid of the entire booking committee if they wnt a booker. Booking by committte doesn't work.

The Pritchard one is maybe a good move, but the Brown one doesn't do that much for me. I would think he is a pretty useful guy to have around and is unlikely to cost them that much.

Am with Troy they need to cut a couple of the high earners who are not adding anything to the product.

So far, the cuts have been good decisions. They cut a lot of dead weight that was draining money.

Robbie E needs to go next. Please, please let it be Robbie E.

Heres my list of who needs to go

Garrett Bischoff
Robbie E
Rob Terry
SoCal Val
Sam Shaw

Robbie E needs more airtime. He's 5 million times better than Zack Ryder ever was.

How were the ones released draining money from the company. Morgan would have been the only one on more than six figures and the others wouldn't have been paid if they weren't booked for a show. They wouldn't have cut much money at all which is why I maintain that they need to cut some wrestlers earning huge wages that aren't delivering. Cutting someone like Sting or Hogan will save TNA more money than all the cuts they have already made in July.

Ah yes. I forgot that TNA was on a "Pay per show" basis. I thought they were like the WWE where they still make an annual salary. I figure D'Lo would still be making some sort of income seeing how he was part of management. As was Pritchard.

They asked D-Lo to restructure his contract for lower payments, and he agreed and they still fired him, then they got Bruce Pritchard to fire all those people, then they fired him. House of Cards style.

TNA stopped fucking around? Fire Dixie, then I'll believe they are serious.

Think it might be time to let Styles go. He has had a good run there but it just seems like they have run out of options with him, my guess he is on decent money so that would free up some cash for some younger guys or girls.

Next one is Jesse Sorensen, he wrote on twitter:

''I have officially been released by @IMPACTWRESTLING. Would like to say thank you to my supportive family, friends & fans.''

Does TNA really think they can cut cost by realeasing these guys? What a pity. Also this guy should have stayed no matter what the situation is. This guy's career has ended in TNA.

Yeah it sucks he broke his neck while under contract to TNA but they shouldn't have to keep him around for years just because. So long as they paid his bills and all the rehab and everything then that's good enough for me.

Yeah, fuck that guy for breaking is neck and being an independant contractor meaning he won't be able to collect any kind of disability.

WWE are the evil ones for keeping Droz on their payroll since 99.
