Samoa Joe is NOT an X-Division competitor.

He's only a multi time X Division champion and put on the greatest match in TNA history against AJ Styles and Daniels at Unbreakable 2005

That's cool but last time I checked Samoa Joe still needed to lose another 80lbs.

WAIT? Is that why he's been off TV... he was on a DIET! I can't wait. :shifty:

Who cares. If the match isn't for the title then I'm cool with it

I care. If it isn't for the title, then it's a random ass match with no build or story. I'm all set with that.

Does anyone else have the suspicion that Sting and Roode won't happen?

I say this because I have a feeling that something will happen to Sting before match time, which will bring in James Storm to face Roode for the title.

For some reason I can see that happening. Storm would obviously be leaving with the belt then. Would kind of suck though, it would be Hogan 'Mania 9 like. Where is Storm right now again?

Also, some of you wouldn't want to see Joe/Aries if it wasn't for the belt? I don't care, the match will rule! It's what I'm most looking forward to tbh. Are TNA still even following that rule anyways? EB is gone now...

EDIT: Aries/Joe is not for the title. It's still a battle of two top X Division stars past and present though.

Did I miss some sort of build or something? Why has this match been added?

I honestly don't want Storm in the ring with Roode again until BFG.

I doubt TNA reversed the rule because EB was right, without a classification for it, what separates it from the TV title?

There's two reasons I don't care for the match:

1. There was NO build. Until Joe interfered for Crimson with no reason this week, I don't recall them ever being in the same room together.

2. Aries is the X Division Champion and he needs to start wrestling X Division wrestlers at PPV events and defending the title more often.

As for that last match, did any match on the card get build?

I hope the tag titles are the main event TBF because it's the only angle on the show with any substance.

I actually agree with you, the tag title match should main event. It's the only real angle going... sure, the matches on the card didn't get a lot of build but at least they all get a bit of TV time before the PPV, neither Hernandez or Kash have been on TV in months! This match being added makes absolutely no sense.

Kash/Hernandez is so random it has to be leading to something. A renewed Hernandez singles push maybe, or someone running out and murderdeathkilling both of them, I dunno. But something's happening.

I don't know if this is here... but I've read in many wrestling pages in Spanish that Christian will make an appearance on this PPV and that his appearance is part of the deal WWE and TNA made in order for WWE to have Ric Flair on the HOF ceremony.

Yep, that's pretty much been confirmed, though there's no details on what the appearance will entail. I highly doubt he'll be in a match or anything, but I wouldn't rule out a backstage segment. I also don't think he's the first inductee in the TNA Hall of Fame.
