You can just drop the lethal part of it and just call it lockdown but also I think we need to stop worrying about political correctness sometimes. It’s been three years, four if we’re gonna do lockdown next year. I think by that point people are over the lockdown I would hope.

What, I do think they should do though is bring back the six sides for one pay-per-view a year and I think it should be lockdown because I think the most marketable thing they ever did was the six sided cage.

See I was thinking the PPV thing also once a year, but I’m not sure about Lockdown. I mean I guess they can still do my idea where they make it one of those optional deals where anyone who wants to work the six sides can. and if someone doesn’t, they don’t have to do it.

A whole PPV of cage/Hell in a Cell/Elimination Chamber matches greatly diminishes the aura and speciality of those matches.

Like the Elimination Chamber used to be a big fuckin' deal, a match of survival and pain. Now it's just another match that happens on one PPV and has multiple matches in it.

Same with Hell in a Cell, and same with Cage matches.

I'm a basic bitch I guess, but build your feuds up to these matches, not around them.

Lockdown was EVERY match inside a cage, often with different gimmicks attached to given matches. Which to me is a lot different than putting two or three matches in HIAC, even though the feuds may or may not call for it, just because it's that time of the year. And TNA wasn't really doing cage matches at other points in the year, so "diminishing the value" of that match type was really a null point.

fwiw im not down with a whole ass ppv gimmick either, just have it be the main event thats good enough for me . I dont wanna watch shit through bars for 3 hours thats too much for me

I can’t say I love the idea that WWE had like seven different payperviews named after a match but I also think fans like to cherry pick and choose when they
care about that stuff because like the royal rumble is an annual match that happens every year, the exact same time and nobody hated that is one of everyone’s favorite things.

Lockdown would be more comparable to Extreme Rules/ONS in that sense. Except again... it was usually the only time all year that they used a cage, so a little more meaningful in that sense.
