The presser is on YouTube now. I’m gonna keep saying this for a little bit but damn that TNA logo on the thumbnail is sexy.

I was riding solo from early pandemic to literally the week before Kenny Omega mentioned Impact on AEW. Chris showed up at the perfect time
yeah I think I showed up for Kenny and ended up staying (on a part time basis)

I’m talking about from 2017 to today. Impact wrestling was like the biggest joke ever in 2017 because they went from a loose branding of impact wrestling to a Hard Impact Wrestling to GFW back to impact wrestling all in the same year.

They also failed to properly secure the GFW rights and fired Jeff Jarrett in the middle of that process, which was a huge story that people constantly dumped on them for it. There was also the incident with Alberto being fired while he was a champion. There was a debacle where they got kicked off of Twitch.

I think the product the last couple years has also been talked well about people actually watch but that’s my point though is that the people shit on the company are never the people that watch it and anytime somebody talks an someone signing with impact it’s met with tremendous mockery. I see it many times over the last couple years. Trust and believe impact is a great laugh currently today in 2023, unfortunately. I remember specifically when Nick Aldis went there. People were hooting and hollering for like a good week.
yeah def agree here. the gfw stuff was probably the lowest (and the following months) I certainly treated them as a massive joke that year. I actually think the pandemic was the slow beginning of getting better. Heck I think it started getting pretty good when Kenny showed up and it's kind of been really solid since then as far as im concerned

the consistent quality of their PPVs is what finally sold me. I still dont always watch the weeklies, mostly due to burnout tbh, but yeah the wrestling is very solid

ironically the stuff i didnt like was the women early when i was watching, I really did not like that Iconics run , the tag div was kinda wack at the time. its awesome now tho

Yeah that’s my thing also. Like I watch so much wrestling already as it is that it’s like sometimes just hard to wanna watch more or sometimes even remember to watch more. But yeah most of the time I do watch, I do enjoy the shows. So I definitely need to remember.

I didn’t mind the GFW rebrand for two reasons. One again I from the moment they announced they were gonna be impact wrestling. I hated it so when I heard immediately that they were going to get the GFW brand I was like OK. I also thought global force wrestling was a pretty decent name. The logo was all right. The belts all looks pretty good. The only problem with it was obviously that you know Jarrett never did anything with the brand prior merging them, but then the name itself was pretty decent. The main problem is if you’re gonna do two re-brands in a single year make sure that the second one sticks and you don’t go backwards.

"10 years 'LOLTNA"........today "YAYTNA?"

crying-fake.gif

Thanks for confirming.
Which is a comparison. That I debunked. You didn’t just say TNA was synonymous with TNA. You made a false gap from loltna to yay TNA.

I also debunked the lie that it was synonymous. You even agreed you lolTNA guys stopped watching years ago. In your own words, you agreed to this. So the other 1 million people that continued to watch weren’t you, they didn’t care about lolTNA.

Then in your follow ups you tried to say TNA was a failure or a brand and going back made no sense. Completely changing your argument.

Both arguments debunked. The only person in that gif is you my friend. You’re the one that’s mad and crying that other people are excited about something that you weren’t. Go post about some thing you actually are excited about.

The next time you reply to this thread it better have absolutely nothing to do with our conversation or you will be thread banned. This is your last warning.

I feel like they got screwed a bit . Respectfully, I'd rather see that tag than Sabin v Kenta .

I’m not a regular viewer, so maybe I’d feel that way if I watch them more, but not wanting to see Kenta is sacrilegious. :howdareyou

Some people just don't know wrestling, in my opinion. Just blindly believe whatever is fed to them.
