yeah def agree here. the gfw stuff was probably the lowest (and the following months) I certainly treated them as a massive joke that year. I actually think the pandemic was the slow beginning of getting better. Heck I think it started getting pretty good when Kenny showed up and it's kind of been really solid since then as far as im concerned

I think the first time I saw some interest buzz in IMPACT after the GFW stuff was after the incident with Callihan and Edwards with the bat. Sami was a vicious heel after that and Eddie got his crazy gimmick, Aries was at least before he became unbearable levels of cancer, then it was New LAX vs Old LAX (OGz with Kingston) (aftet them vs Lucha Bros) Cage in the X Division. That Slammiversary was highly praised. Though a couple bumps still happened after with Aries pulling a hissy fit at BFG, Tessa's issues a year later while being crowned first female world champ, it was the first time I was like "They're getting better."

Some people just don't know wrestling, in my opinion. Just blindly believe whatever is fed to them.
I'm sure it's unintentional, but that one is a hell of a wordplay, if you think about it... :vincepoint

I feel like impact kind of ebbs and flows just due to the very nature of the fact that they’re kind of on a smaller scale these days and can’t lock down everyone. I want to say not when Scott and Don first came in to impact, but after they had been there for at least six months. I want to say around the summer of 2018 to just when the pandemic hit. Also, AEW starting just before the pandemic also didn’t help Impact.

I think that was actually one of their best rosters and products. Ever. They had Sami Callahan, LAX. They had OVE, Tessa Blanchard. He just brought in Ace Austin, Brian cage, Austin Aries, Johnny Impact, Killer Kross, Moose, the Lucha brothers.

I agree with Jeff that the next boom. For them I wanna say is 2021 when they finally did the partnership with AEW. They had a good brothers and Chris Bey. They had Jay White they had the kingdom there, Kenny King, and PCO. AEW stars like Omega and Christian, too.

UnFortunately, then they got hit again with the big guys come in and raided a lot of those top names that I just mentioned. I still think the product today is good, but the roster isn’t as rock solid as those two periods in my opinion, but I’m looking forward to that changing with the TNA reBrand.

I think people need to let the six sides go, but also AJ is still kicking around just fine. I don’t think the six sides is ending your career. Just making it more painful to bump.

What, I do think they should do though is bring back the six sides for one pay-per-view a year and I think it should be lockdown because I think the most marketable thing they ever did was the six sided cage.

Im baffled as to why they havent brought Lockdown back to begin with. TNA's big 3 was always Lockdown, Slammiversary and then Bound for Glory. Bring that shit back already.

Me either. When Dixie originally cut the pay-per-views down foolishly and lost all their revenue in 2013, originally lockdown was one of their only pay-per-views they were doing. I don’t know why they stop doing it.

I will say, though I love the hard to kill pay-per-view, so I think we should keep that, but rebellion is a very generic name and it’s not even original WWe did one for the UK.

Now that has always been the only option I would definitely support when it comes to the 6-sided Ring.

Yup... exactly what I expected to happen.

You can't really run a match called a Lethal Lockdown post-COVID. It's why Hardcore War has become a regular thing, same match as LL but without the cage
