yeah def agree here. the gfw stuff was probably the lowest (and the following months) I certainly treated them as a massive joke that year. I actually think the pandemic was the slow beginning of getting better. Heck I think it started getting pretty good when Kenny showed up and it's kind of been really solid since then as far as im concerned
I think the first time I saw some interest buzz in IMPACT after the GFW stuff was after the incident with Callihan and Edwards with the bat. Sami was a vicious heel after that and Eddie got his crazy gimmick, Aries was at least before he became unbearable levels of cancer, then it was New LAX vs Old LAX (OGz with Kingston) (aftet them vs Lucha Bros) Cage in the X Division. That Slammiversary was highly praised. Though a couple bumps still happened after with Aries pulling a hissy fit at BFG, Tessa's issues a year later while being crowned first female world champ, it was the first time I was like "They're getting better."
