Again, maybe I'm a basic bitch in thinking matches of those types should be exceedingly rare and maybe twice a year on PPV/TV combined.

I think we’re well beyond the time of only doing cage matches twice a year here, lol, plus lockdown will be the only time a year TNA would use the six sided rat cage which would be the draw of the pay-per-view. Plus, I don’t think Impact currently does a lot of cage matches anyway so maybe they make it so lockdown might even be the only time they use it.

aew does pretty 2-3 max a year tbh - less if you discount Blood and Guts. been very few. its just WWE that used to spam the shit out of em

Even 3 on top of B&G would be one per quarter.

Which is not too bad, but more than just two.

Either way, I don’t think Lockdown would break Impact’s bank of cage saturation.

I definitely don’t think AW spams the cage match, but I also don’t think you can really save its aura.

Which I don’t necessarily have a problem with. I think wrestling is best when you cater your presentation to the stories and the characters so the character is more apt to like a certain type of match. I think that’s perfectly acceptable. Like I wouldn’t put Orton and LA Knight in a coffin match for instance.

exactly. tho i do think they need to chill on the coffin stuff theyve done too many and im bored of em
