TNA KO Tag Team Title One Year Reign

Believe it or not Eric Young and ODB have now held the TNA KO tag team titles for over an entire year. It is by far the longest title reign for this championship but it could be argued that it is one of the least memorable. These titles have been around for three and a half years now and have never really caught on. Early on with the Beautiful People as champions it did get plenty of airtime but the titles still were never that sought after. Now the titles have no purpose at all especially with a smaller KO roster.

Anyone see any point to these titles? Should TNA quietly remove these titles from the show?

I'd say throw them in a bond fire in Eric Young's backyard or on his show. Seriously, the most pointless titles in wrestling, especially on TNA where they have like 6-8 KO's? No need for the tag titles.

Think this might be the longest reign of a man holding a womans title too.

But to be honest, the Million Dollar Belt means more than these titles ever did. I say drop them entirely, I think ODB & EY only defended them once anyways.

It has been an odd title reign since they never defend them, they are rarely on the actual show and didn't Eric Young leave for part of this title reign to film his other tv show?

There aren't really any proper KO teams in TNA right now although maybe if they add the Blossom Twins they will use them to revive the division. They do have Tara and Jesse to feud with if they wanted to head in that direction of mixed tags yet they haven't really explored it which I find a bit odd since it seems the obvious direction to go.

Unless TNA hire another half dozen women wrestlers to boost their roster to at least a dozen womens wrestler I fail to see how this helps the product. When there was talk about the Knockouts getting an hour program on SpikeTV this made a lot of sense but that talk died down a couple of years ago so it is time to end the experiment.

I remember when Awesome Kong got stripped of the belts when her and Hamada were champions, and they kayfabed it by saying it was because they didn't defend them within 30 days.

This belt lost a lot of prestige in last 2 years. I don't know how many times that EY and ODB defended it. I don't like ODB and I am not a fan of that "Funny" EY. I wish that TNA either gives some more importance to that belt or just retire the belt.
