Taz, Kevin Nash, and JBL were on commentary, and JBL said he was here to watch his tag team beat Chris Sabin and Jimmy Jacobs and challenge for the tag belts.
Match 1: Brian Kendrick vs Richie Steamboat
Kendrick came right in and was super aggressive, quickly throwing punches and forearms. Steamboat threw him off with his deep arm drags and started to fly, but Kendrick knocked him out with a heel kick! ONE … TWO … THRE - Steamboat got an arm up, but Kendrick kept on him aggressively. Steamboat had a few flurries, but Kendrick shut him down with kicks and even an Indy Exploder into the corner, naturally used as a spot in an Xplosion opener. Steamboat kicked out at 2.5, but Kendrick nailed a Superkick to end it.

Kendrick immediately rolled and out went to the back.

Lauren had Brian Kendrick backstage, and he was not in a good mood. He said that he was so close to winning the X-Division Championship last night, but -- just, it didn’t happen. He said that he faults nobody but himself, but he knows that if anybody is going to topple Alex Shelley from his pedestal, it’s going to be Brian Kendrick.
Match 2: Jimmy Rave w/ Frankie Kazarian vs Raven w/ Elix Skipper
Writing a match out with the two participants as Rave and Raven would be annoying. Instead, I’ll say that this was basic. Rave mostly controlled, but Raven got a rollup out of the corner to get a surprise win!
Winners via pinfall: Raven (4:12)
Raven got up and celebrated, and Kaz couldn’t believe it! The faces celebrated, but Ravarian attacked from behind and laid them both out.
Footage from Impact played of Jarrett costing James Storm a match against Matt Morgan. It cut to Storm standing with Lauren, and he said that he kicked Jarrett’s ass once, and he wanted the chance to do it again.

Jeff Jarrett called into commentary and said that he’d be on Xplosion next week to respond to James Storm. Before he left, JBL shouted at him that Buddy Landel is a cock, but Jarrett just sighed and hung up.
Match 3: Roderick Strong/Chuck Taylor vs Scott Lost/Kenny King w/ TJ Perkins
The heels Pearl Harbored the faces at the start, and immediately went to work on the injuries that both Strong and Chuck sustained in KOTM. Strong came back with his backbreakers to Lost, so Lost bailed. Strong followed up with a Suicide Dive, and when TJ and Kenny went to check on him, Chuckie took them out with his SLOPPY AS HELL PLANCHA!

Chuck was having the time of his life running around and hitting Lost and King, and he even did a well-executed body slam to both guys! TJ tripped him up though, and he couldn’t really figure out how to take on both guys at once, so yeah, isolation. He finally got a break after SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK, and he made the hot tag! Backbreakers everywhere. He tried to put Lost in the Strong Hold, but King came in and leveled him with a clothesline! He tried the Coronation, but Strong floated over and hit a Pendulum Backbreaker! Chuck got in, but Lost pushed him off the apron. He grabbed Strong and hit a Side Suplex! And the BIG FAT KILL! He got up and celebrated, but turned into the SLOPPY AS HELL MOONSAULT! ONE … TWO … THREE!

Roddy and Chuck celebrated in the ring, and commentary pointed out that Chuck has been on sort of a roll since getting his first victory against Sean Hernandez.
Backstage, Paul London said that everybody’s been asking him if he blames Brian Kendrick for him not winning the X-Division Championship. He proceeded to not answer that question, but he said that he fully intends to take that belt from Shelley.

Alex Shelley called into commentary and told Kevin Nash to set up a nice #1 contender’s tournament for next week so that there can be a #1 contender’s match at Victory Road, since there can’t be an X-Title match, given that he’ll be challenging for the World Title.
Backstage, TJ told Lost and King that they must just not be a great pairing, eh?
MORE KOSLOV VS JAPS! Koslov came out and called out whoever he was facing this week.
Who the hell is this white guy? Koslov yelled at this kid for not being Japanese, but he answered in his Irish voice that he is indeed Japanese, and he’s about to beat his Commie ass.
Match 4: Viktor Koslov w/ The Axis Powers vs Prince Devitt
Koslov charged right into Devitt’s AMAZING standing dropkick! Devitt kept bumping him around with hard strikes and dropkicks, so Koslov rolled out of the ring. He regrouped with the Powers, so DEVITT TOOK THEM ALL OUT WITH A TOPE CON GIRO! He landed on his feet, and threw Koslov right back in! SPRINGBOARD SPLASH! ONE … TWO … THRE - Koslov kicked out! Devitt pulled him up and tried a DDT, but Koslov shoved him away. He tried a clothesline, but Devitt ducked and hit a big overhead kick! Koslov reeled in place, and Devitt hit the BLOODY SUNDAY! ONE … TWO … THREE!

Devitt got up and celebrated, and Koslov couldn’t believe it! He flipped out as Devitt celebrated to the back.

The Axis Powers were in the back, and Koslov was throwing a fit. He said that that Devitt guy is a poser, and that victory wouldn’t stand.
Match 5: Eric Young/Tyson Dux/Tyson Tomko vs Volador/Los Infernales
Team Canada dominated at the start. But Dux got caught up by Los Infernales, and stereo dropkicks sent him into their corner. Averno and Mephisto did some double-team stuff together, topped off by Dropkick Poetry in Motion! Volador took his turn and really bumped Dux around for a while, but when he tried a hurricanrana, Dux countered with a powerbomb! ONE … TWO … THR - Volador kicked out! Dux dragged him over for Tomko to lay into him some, and then Young came in to wear him down on the mat. The Canuck trio kept cutting off the hot tag, so finally Volador went on a huge burst and started raging on them all with LUCHA POWER~. He kicked out Young and Tomko, and then nailed Dux with an Enzuigiri! He climbed up top AND HIT THE DRAGONRANA! Dux wasn’t legal, so Volador got up, right into Young’s SPIKE PILEDRIVER! ONE … TWO … THREE!

Commentary (well, only Taz) hyped the Six-Pack #1 contender's match on Impact.
Footage played of the recent Sabin/Jacobs vs Bailout feud. Then JBL left the commentary booth to go to ringside.
Match 6: New Age Machineguns vs Bailout w/ JBL
Burke and Sabin went to the mat for a while, and Burke started to target the head and neck. Sabin returned with the same, and them started to up the pace. Jacobs got in to do the same, and the former tag champs bumped around the Pope. He finally scurried away and tagged in Davey, and both guys backed off. He started raging on Jimmy with strikes and no-selling everything, so Jacobs got sick of even trying and just lowbridged him to the outside. Jacobs lined up for a Suicide Dive, but Burke pulled down the ropes on the outside side, and Jacobs fell out to the floor! Sabin went to get into the ring, but Davey yanked him off the apron and chucked him into the barricade! Bailout had both guys down on the floor going into the break!

Davey was beating the shit out of Sabin in a corner, and then Burke got in to do some wearing down, mixed with plenty of taunting. Burke’s tendency to showboat made it pretty back-and-forth, with Burke taking the bumps and Davey just coming in to bruise around. Davey got overextended pounding at Jacobs, and Sabin made a blind tag and surprised him with YAKUZA KICK! ONE … TWO … THR - Burke pulled him off! He chucked Sabin into the corner and tried the Elijah Express, but Sabin moved and then threw him into a SPEAR FROM JACOBS! They threw Burke out and pulled Davey up for the Veg-O-Matic, but Davey elbowed away from Sabin and caught Jacobs with a Flapjack! He tried the Bankrupt Driver, but Sabin floated out and hit the SPRINGBOARD TORNADO DDT! ONE … TWO … THRE - Burke JUST dove to save! He pulled Sabin up for the Bankrupt Bomb, but Sabin body dropped away! He tried a Superkick, but Burke ducked and hit his Pimp Slap! Davey came out of nowhere with a BIG running elbow! He tried one on Jacobs, but Jacobs ducked and caught him off the ropes with a hurricanrana! He climbed up top, but while Burke distracted the ref, JBL hopped up and shoved Jacobs off! He stumbled up, and Bailout pulled him up for the BANKRUPTCY! ONE … TWO … THREE!
