Tenay, Cornette, and Taz welcomed everybody to the show and announced that Chris Hero vs Doug Williams and Homicide vs Low Ki were tonight! Plus, more on the ramifications of a Styles vs Shelley match at Bound For Glory!

Match 1: The Hooliganz vs Tennessee Titans w/ Jeff Jarrett & Chris Harris
Pretty basic. The Hooliganz flew around at the start to get the big men off their game, but then Kendrick got isolated. Basic big man offense. He caught Murphy on the jaw with a heel kick and tagged out to London! Springboard Clothesline to Murphy! He jumped around to strike at both guys, but when he pulled Murphy out of the ring, he springboarded right into an Inverted Chokeslam from Gunner! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Tennessee Titans (5:45)

London couldn’t believe it! Kendrick slid in and looked pretty stunned too, but helped London up and they left the ring. Backstage, Christopher Daniels was again watching from the monitor, and he grinned.

--Commercial Break--

IMPACT ZONE SEGMENT~! Alex Shelley came out and said that after 22 long months, FINALLY his X-Division Championship would be main eventing a PPV, and he was proud to have carried the title to become the most prestigious in the sport. He said that what he said wasn’t a mistake, because if Carter, Booker, or Nash hadn’t yet signed the match to be for the X-Title, he would REFUSE to compete at all unless it was! AJ Styles came out now and said it was great that Shelley had finally gotten a real title challenger in himself, but just because AJ is worthy of challenging for the X-Division Title doesn’t mean that Alex is worthy of challenging for the TNA World Title. He said that he was so adamant about Shelley being unworthy to challenge for his belt, that he was willing to wrestle twice at Bound For Glory--once to challenge for the X-Division Championship and once to defend his own TNA World Championship! That brought out Dixie Carter, who said that AJ brought up a good idea, but didn’t discount the fact that Shelley had more than proven himself to earn a TNA Title shot. So tonight there would be a main event with HUGE stakes. Alex Shelley would face somebody one-on-one, and if Shelley wins, then we get Styles vs Shelley, Title vs Title. But of the other guy wins, we will see Shelley vs Styles for the X-Division Championship and Styles vs this guy for the TNA World Championship on the same night. And the opponent is… MONTY BROWN!

--Commercial Break--

Fit Finlay came down to watch from ringside.

Match 2: Chris Hero vs Doug Williams w/ Dave Taylor
Underlying story to start was that Williams used his fancy European mat work to neutralize Hero’s size, and actually gain an edge. He started working Hero’s elbow with some unique and gross stretches, and it pretty much took out all his strikes. He tried to use some kicks, but Williams dodged them all, and turned one into a FISHERMAN’S SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THRE - Hero kicked out! Williams had Hero down going into the break, with Hero seemingly in a bad funk.

--Commercial Break--

Hero finally started to make some comebacks by upping the pace, and showing off some of his high-flying offense for a relatively big guy. Williams kept going back to the arm to shut him down, but still Hero had a better position than before the break. He looked to end it with the Cyclone Kill, but Dave Taylor hopped on the apron! Hero ran across and knocked him down, but Williams tackled him from behind and hit the CHAOS THEORY! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Doug Williams (11:23)

The Redcoats celebrated to the back. Hero rolled out to leave, and he saw Finlay laughing at ringside. They got in each other’s faces, but separated peacefully.

--Commercial Break--

Clips played of Steamboat getting the better of Morgan and Hoyt the last few weeks.

Match 3: Richie Steamboat/Amazing Red vs Matt Morgan/Lance Hoyt w/ Don West
Commentary brought up the history between Red and the Dungeon of Don, and then obviously the more recent stuff with Steamboat. They formed a good team in dodging the big men’s offense, really making them fall over and crash into the corner more than anything else. Morgan finally caught Red off a springboard, and turned it into a POWERSLAM! ONE … TWO … THRE - Red kicked out! He was isolated for a bit, and really tossed around, but Red countered Morgan’s Chokeslam into a HURRICANRANA! HOT TAG TO STEAMBOAT! He came in with a bunch of dropkicks that sent Morgan to a knee! Red tagged in! HURRICANRANA DRIVER! Steamboat tagged in! FLYING SPLASH! ONE … TWO … THRE - Morgan kicked out! Hoyt ran in and cleared Red out, and then Steamboat got up into Morgan’s CHOKEBOMB! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Matt Morgan/Lance Hoyt (6:02)

The Dungeon of Don celebrated in the ring.

--Commercial Break--

Monty Brown was backstage and he said HE AIN’T GOT NO MO CANUCK KILLIN IN HIM HE JUST WANT DAT WORLD TIGHTA IN HE HANDS DAT HE CAN PLOP DAT AJ ON DAT CRAZY ASS UNAPLOYMENT LINE LIKE DA HICKBOY ****** ASS HE IS HE A BITCH ASS NOSE DIGGA AND DAT ALEX SHELLER AIN’T GONA STAND DA CHANCE WIT DA ALPHA MALE U KNO U DON’T KNOW U A BITCH IMMA KILL U ALEX AND U AJ AND DEN IMMA KILL DA WHOLE WORLD TIL ALL DATS LEFT IS ME AND MY PRINCESS, WHO NAME WILL BE DARLENE.

Kurt Angle came out to the ring and played a clip of Hernandez returning to Spear him last week. He said that he already wanted his last match to be at Bound For Glory, and so he’s officially challenging Sean Hernandez to be his opponent! Hernandez came out now and said that he already accepted that challenge as soon as he Speared his washed up ass in the ring! Angle charged in to attack, but Hernandez quickly threw him off AND LEVELED HIM WITH A SPEAR! Hernandez again stood tall over Kurt Angle, and then went to the back.

--Commercial Break--

Robert Roode was backstage talking to BUFF BAGWELL! He asked for advice on Sting, and Bagwell told him to watch the finishers; they may look controllable, but they always finish the match. Bagwell then stood up for Sting and said that he didn’t deserve any disrespect. Roode thanked him for his time, and then slugged him in the face! He beat at him a bunch, and then dragged him to the ring! He called for a ref to come down as he continued to punch at him!

Match 4: Robert Roode vs Buff Bagwell
Roode just beat the crap out of him and talked a bunch of trash. Buff came back with a couple punches, but Roode cut him off with the Double A Spinebuster! PAYOFF! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Robert Roode (0:31)

Roode got on the mic and said that Sting has beaten a ton of people in his career, but as he just showed, they all sucked. All of Sting’s opponents were weak, just like Sting!

--Commercial Break--

Match 5: Low Ki vs Homicide
VIOLENCE! Brutal strikes. Homicide went to the eyes at one point and got cocky, but Low Ki came right back with big punches. It went in and out of the ring, until finally Cide just blasted Low Ki with the slapjack!
Winner via disqualification: Low Ki (4:35)

Homicide kept beating at Low Ki with the slapjack, BUT SAMOA JOE RAN DOWN! He pulled Homicide off, who got pissed. Joe helped Low Ki to his feet, AND THEN HIT HIM WITH THE MUSCLE BUSTER!!! Homicide got a huge grin and went to hug Joe, BUT JOE PICKED HIM UP INTO A MUSCLE BUSTER TOO!!! Joe threw up the Shaka and then walked off on his own.

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Christy Hemme wanted a word with Joe. He finally stopped and said that Homicide and Low Ki had their issues, and they drew him into them. Now he’s got a problem, and when Samoa Joe has a problem, the only solution is inflicting pain.

Bound For Glory Report with Raven!
- Kurt Angle vs Sean Hernandez for BFG has been made official
- Samoa Joe has reportedly gone to officials to request a BFG match with Homicide, but Cide has insisted that he face Low Ki
- TNA workers have been banned from using Hardy & Hardy Cab Services to travel to New York
- On that note, Kurt Angle will be forced to ride in the backseat of Mike Tenay’s mini-van.

--Commercial Break--

Match 6: Alex Shelley vs Monty Brown
Lots of Monty beating Shelley around. Not even Shelley’s neck-targeting strategy here. He had to resort to a lot of ducking and dodging, with plenty of time spent on the outside. Shelley managed to catch Monty’s arm on the top rope going into the break though.

--Commercial Break--

Shelley was able to slow Monty down somewhat by continuously kicking at his arm. Monty got on a big roll with throws, but Shelley looked strong hanging on. He tried to knock down the big man with a Flying Crossbody, but Monty caught him! He tried the Alpha Bomb, but Shelley floated into a sunset flip! ONE … TWO … THRE - Monty kicked out! Shelley tried a Superkick, but Monty ducked and picked him up for a FALLAWAY SLAM! ONE … TWO … THR - Shelley got an arm up! Monty tried the POUNCE~, but Shelley rolled to the outside. He took a second to climb back in, but when he did, Monty leveled him with a FLYING SHOULDERBLOCK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Shelley kicked out! Monty called for the end, BUT TEAM CANADA RAN (well, Christian wheeled) DOWN TO THE RING! Monty was distracted, and it let Shelley hit a SUPERKICK! Monty didn’t hit the mat, but did fall back into the ropes! And Eric Young snuck in a hockey stick shot to the back of Monty’s skull! Shelley hit another SUPERKICK, then pulled Monty into a roll-up, and grabbed the ropes! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: ALEX SHELLEY (10:09)

WHAT! Shelley got up and looked totally confident in himself. Monty raged, but took it out by chasing Team Canada to the back. Shelley got to his feet, but when he turned around, AJ Styles was right there! Shelley didn’t know how to react, until AJ just held up his TNA World Championship in his face to close the show!

Taz, Raven, and Jarrett on commentary tonight. Raven and Taz were super over in Philly, and Jarrett was shat on.

Match 1: Chad Collyer[c] vs Bryan Danielson [TNA Television Championship]
Collyer tried to go to the mat, but Danielson came back with some technical stuff. Collyer started to go amateur, but Danielson met him with that! Collyer kept getting flustered, and he finally threw some punches. Danielson came right back with chops, and Collyer just looked totally outclassed. He finally just bailed to the outside, so Danielson laughed and held the ropes open for him to come back in. Collyer was pissed, but Danielson offered a handshake. Collyer accepted, but stalled some more. Danielson finally went in for a vertical suplex, but Collyer blocked and hit a Belly to Belly! He celebrated big going into break.

--Commercial Break--

Danielson and Collyer were having a heated struggle for control, and it kept getting tangled in the ropes. It walked the fine line between heated and friendly, but where it looked like Danielson was just messing around by being a dick, Collyer kept getting legit pissed. He threw a cheap punch at one point, and Danielson exploded with chops and kicks! He lined up for a shoot kick to the skull, but Collyer begged off! He apologized and asked for a handshake, but when Danielson went for it, COLLYER TOOK HIM INTO THE CROSSFACE CHICKENWING! Danielson struggled for a bit, but then easily slipped out and put in the LeBell Lock! Collyer made it to the ropes, and from there it was just Collyer trying to survive. He managed to duck Danielson’s Shotgun Clothesline, and got off a Back Suplex! ONE … TWO … THRE - Danielson kicked out! Collyer tried the Everest German, but Danielson maneuvered around! GERMAN SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THR - Collyer got an arm up! Danielson went up top for the Flying Headbut - NO! COLLYER GOT HIS KNEES UP AND BASHED DANIELSON IN THE FACE! Collyer grabbed an inside cradle! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall and still TNA Television Champion: Chad Collyer (11:40)

Danielson looked sort of stunned, but Collyer got up and celebrated big. Roderick Strong was seen watching from the back, and commentary hyped Collyer vs Strong for next week.

--Commercial Break--

Commentary hyped up Styles vs Shelley, title vs title for Bound For Glory.

A quick interview played between AJ Styles and Christy Hemme backstage after Thursday’s Impact. Nothing fancy, just a few quick questions. Basically, he said that he was disappointed that he was going to have such a weak challenger at Bound For Glory, but Shelley seems to have some sort of obsession with him, so whatever. He basically just talked Shelley down, and said that the bonus was that at least he’d walk out of BFG with two belts.

Back in the ring, Kevin Nash was with Alex Shelley. The X-Division Champion responded to Styles’ comments by basically saying that he is proving to be an arrogant snob, underestimating him like all his past challengers. He said how he gets it done with his technical prowess, and not garbage wrestling that Philly eats up. They starting booing him, he yelled back, AND SO RAVEN STOOD UP FROM THE ANNOUNCE BOOTH! He got in the ring and told Shelley to shut his damn mouth, and YEAH E-C-DUB. Shelley apologized, BUT THEN CHEAP SHOTTED RAVEN! Raven charged back to attack, but Nash held him back. Nash then booked Shelley vs Raven in the main event, and yeah.

--Commercial Break--

Raven left commentary to get ready for the main event, and DON WEST CAME DOWN TO JOIN THE TEAM, YEAH!

Before the match, Viktor Koslov told Patrick Schulz to go to the back.

Match 2: Richie Steamboat/Amazing Red vs TJ Perkins/Kenny King vs Viktor Koslov/Masato Tanaka w/ Brutus Magnus
Two guys in at a time, James Gang rule in place. Steamboat and Red continued to be a good team at overall avoiding most big offense. Perkins seemed like he was in a total slump, and commentary said that he’s had a horrible time since Scott Lost quit. Tanaka murdered people. Magnus did a good job cheating to help his Axis Powers stablemates. Red hit TJ with the Red Eye, but the Tanaka came and knocked Red out with a running elbow! Koslov came in and stole the pin on TJ to get the win.
Winners via pinfall: Viktor Koslov/Masato Tanaka (5:50)

Magnus rolled in to celebrated with the other Powers.

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Koslov told Schulz that they didn’t need him, and that he was hereby out of The Axis Powers!

Match 3: Christopher Daniels vs Chuck Taylor
Chuck has apparently been training a lot since he lost the TV Title to Collyer. He showed by actually sticking with Daniels on the mat, even if he mostly used basic armbars and headlocks. Daniels started to get pissed so he threw some strikes, but Taylor ducked a roundhouse and unloaded with some rather nice look dropkicks! Daniels finally cut him off with a Blue Thunder Driver, but he could never really mount much offense. He tried to just end it with the Angel’s Wings, but Taylor body dropped away! He climbed up top for the Sloppy As Hell Moonsault, but Daniels pulled him down! He tried the Last Rites, but Taylor countered RIGHT INTO THE SPIN CYCLE! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: CHUCK TAYLOR (4:25)

YIPEE. Taylor celebrated to the back. Daniels didn’t even freak out. He just laughed, and slowly walked to the back.

--Commercial Break--

Commentary was talking about the night a little bit, and hyping Bound For Glory, and James Storm came down! He called out Jarrett, and said that he had gone to the right people, and STORM VS JARRETT WAS SIGNED FOR BFG! Storm then ran out to attack Jarrett, and they brawled around the ring! Jarrett finally bailed, and escaped through the crowd.

--Commercial Break--

Bailout came down to watch from ringside, and Burke again helped himself to joining commentary.

Match 4: New Age Machineguns vs 2 Crazy Negroes [Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match]
LETHAL VS SABIN! Sabin had the advantage this time, looking crisp in all his strikes and stuff. Lethal went to Creed to come back, and they had some good double-teaming. Alright, this match has been done to death. The point is they always have draws and can never get an advantage over the other team.

--Commercial Break--

Yup, still the same deal. There was a brawl on the floor, and Jacobs sent everybody over the barricade after a SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE! Count outs everywhere.
No contest due to double count out (13:28)

Both teams slowly got up and looked pissed, and then sort of confused. Burke marked out on commentary and said that it looked like they wouldn’t have to defend their belts at Bound For Glory! Amid the confusion, it cut to break.

--Commercial Break--

Commentary announced that Nash had given word of a solution to the tag title situation for next week.

Team Canada came down to the ring, with Christian in a wheelchair, and some guy in a suit with them. Christian introduced the guy as his lawyer, and he said that he had decided to go through with legal action against Monty Brown for his horrific attack that left him immobile. Monty Brown came out and called Christian a peacock petunia, and challenged him to fight him now. Christian said he obviously couldn’t, BUT THESE GUYS COULD~! Team Canada pounced on him, but Monty fought back! He threw Tomko and Roode out of the ring, and then planted Young with an Alpha Bomb. As Christian looked on in horror, Dux ate the POUNCE~~~~~! PERIOD. Christian wad freaking out, AND MONTY TURNED AND PICKED UP THE LAWYER! ALPHA BOMB TO THE LAWYER! Kevin Nash ran down to try to get control, and Christian yelled at him to ban Monty from Xplosion. Nash said he wouldn’t do that, but next week, Monty would face Young, Tomko, and Dux in a handicap match!

--Commercial Break--

FROM THE VAULT! Clips of big title chances from BFG played, including Sting over Jarrett in ’06, Sabin over Low Ki in ’06, Sting over Angle in ’07, Low Ki over Daniels in ’09, and Styles over Joe and Daniels in ’10. BUY BOUND FOR GLORY!

Shelley vs Raven, NEXT!

--Commercial Break--

Match 5: Raven vs Alex Shelley w/ Rhino & Angelina Love [Non-Title]
Raven was suuuuper over in Philadelphia. Shelley didn’t really toy with Raven, but he underestimated this in the sense that he came right at Raven with punches. Raven mostly dominated the brawl, but Shelley refused to back down. Shelley took a few big slugs, but came back with some kicks and chops! He went for a running knee, but Raven ducked and hit a dropkick to send Shelley into the ropes! CACTUS CLOTHESLINE SENT THEM BOTH TO THE OUTSIDE!

--Commercial Break--

Over the break, Shelley hit Raven with a neckbreaker on the floor. So now he had him in the ring, wearing down his neck. Raven had some wild comebacks with the Side Russian Legsweep, Running Bulldog, and even a FLYING CROSSBODY! Still, Shelley mostly dominated. He tried to end it with a Superkick, but Raven ducked and hit a discus clothesline! He climbed up top again, but Rhino jumped on the apron! Raven kicked him down, AND CAME OFF WITH A BODY PRESS TO THE FLOOR! Raven was feeling the extremism flow through him, and he grabbed a steel chair from ringside! He rolled into the ring with it, but the ref took it away! He tried to get it back, but Shelley came up behind for the SHELLSHOCK! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Alex Shelley (8:42)

Shelley celebrated in the ring, but then saw the chair at ringside! He rolled out to get it and he tried to hit Raven, but he ducked! DROPKICK! Raven tried an Even Flow onto the DDT, but Rhino pulled him away! EVEN FLOW TO RHINO! He turned around, AND SHELLEY NAILED HIM WITH THE CHAIR! He held up his X-Division Championship and shouted that nobody can hold him down on his way to Glory

HELLO. Tonight: Sean Hernandez vs Chuck Taylor, ROBERT ROODE VS LEX LUGER, and a main event of AJ Styles vs Paul London!

Bailout came down to watch.

Match 1: New Age Machineguns/2 Crazy Negroes/Brian Kendrick vs The Axis Powers/Ravarian
X-Division sprint. The Negroes and New Guns kept trying to one-up the other, but Kendrick kept the peace. A bunch of moves later, Lethal and Sabin fought over a top-rope move on Magnus, so Kendrick tagged himself in and hit the Shooting Star Press to win.
Winners via pinfall: New Age Machineguns/2 Crazy Negroes/Brian Kendrick (6:02)

Kendrick celebrated by himself in the ring. The Negroes and the New Guns looked uneasy. Commentary hyped the NAMG/2CN Best of 3 Falls Match on Xplosion for a shot at the Tag Team Championship.

--Commercial Break--

Commentary announced that Homicide vs Low Ki vs Samoa Joe had been signed for Bound For Glory!

Match 2: Samoa Joe vs Sonjay Dutt
Squash. Chimera-Plex won it.
Winner via pinfall: Samoa Joe (1:00)

Post-match, Homicide came out and attacked Joe! Low Ki followed him out and primarily went for Homicide, which allowed Samoa Joe to roll outside. He said he’ll take on either one head-on, and Low Ki looked to be about to run after him, but he turned into the 187!

--Commercial Break--

Alex Shelley was backstage, and he said that he had to deal with Paul London for months, and now AJ Styles gets to deal with him. He said that AJ has been ****ting on the guys that Shelley has defended against, but going into this match unserious is only going to hurt him in the end.

Match 3: Chris Hero vs Dave Taylor w/ Doug Williams
More European mat work, and this time Taylor had even more unique stuff than Williams. Hero just started throwing his weight around, but Taylor took him out by the legs. He picked apart all his limbs, and they continued the theme of European mat work being Hero’s Achilles Heel. Hero made some comebacks with suplexes, but Williams tripped him up, and Taylor hit the BRITISH SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Dave Taylor (6:10)

Taylor got up and celebrated another win in what must be the luckiest two months of his entire career. Hero was really pissed now, and as the Redcoats backed up the ramp, he saw Finlay laughing again! This time he climbed out and shoved Finlay, who shoved him back! Hero shoved him one more time, and then Finlay said he’d see him in the ring next week!

--Commercial Break--

Bound For Glory Report with Raven!
- AJ Styles vs Alex Shelley, Title vs Title has been made official. TNA officials have promised that one man will walk out with both titles.
- Kurt Angle has indicated that his match with Hernandez will be his “Retirement Match”!
- Sources close to Sting have said that he is training very hard for his match with Roode, but where he is training is top secret. Probably a cave in Peru.
- JBL has negotiated a $25,000 signing bonus for both Bailout and whoever they face at Bound For Glory, whether it is the New Age Machineguns or Bailout

--Commercial Break--

Before the match, Lex Luger told Robert Roode that he was excited to get to beat him up, but he knows that if Rick Rude and Curt Hennig were still around, they’d LOVE to kick his ass! Roode cheapshotted him and it was on!

Match 4: Robert Roode vs Lex Luger
Roode just pounded at him, with tons of taunting and shouting. He pulled Luger up for the Torture Rack, BUT LUGER GOT DOWN! ATOMIC DROP! RUNNING ELBOW! ONE … TWO … THR - Roode kicked out! Roode looked completely pissed and overwhelmed, and just leveled Luger with the Northern Lariat! PAYOFF! ONE … TWO … THRE - Roode pulled Luger’s shoulder up off the mat! He yanked him up and hit the SCORPION DEATH DROP! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Robert Roode (1:56)

Robert Roode pulled him up for one more Payoff, and then said that this was getting sad. He said that what he does to Sting at Bound For Glory would make this look tame.

--Commercial Break--

Footage played from June 2 played off Chuck Taylor pulling off an unbelievable upset and pinning the undefeated Sean Hernandez. Commentary talked about the mental state Hernandez must be in going into this.

Match 5: Sean Hernandez vs Chuck Taylor
Chuckie looked scared ****less. Hernandez didn’t waste any time, and just charged right in with a HUGE lariat. This was a squash, but like a squaaaaaaash. Hernandez just murdered him with punches, lariats, a military press to the outside, a fallaway slam into the ring post, and a vertical suplex over the top rope and to the floor. He held up Chuck for a short-arm lariat, but Chuckie ducked and SLAPPED HERNANDEZ IN THE FACE. Bad idea. Hernandez flattened Taylor with a Spear, a second Spear, and a third Spear! Taylor was completely out of it, and Hernandez hung up his arms on the top rope in the corner AND STARTED SPEARING HIM OVER AND OVER! After a fourth in the corner, CHUCK TAYLOR STARTED COUGHING UP BLOOD! Hernandez chucked him backwards with the Crackerjack, but then the ref held him back and had to just call the match.
Winner via referee stoppage: Sean Hernandez (3:46)

Chuck held at his stomach and kept coughing up blood. Hernandez got a sadistic look on his face and looked to attack again, BUT KURT ANGLE RAN DOWN! He charged with big rights hands, then ran off the ropes, RIGHT INTO A SPEAR! Hernandez celebrated over Angle for the third week in a row.

--Commercial Break--

AJ Styles was in the back with his TNA World Championship. He said that swatting down challengers was just one of the things that makes a World Champion so important, and that’s what he’d do to Alex Shelley at BFG.

Paul London was getting warmed up for the main event, and Christopher Daniels walked up! London was taken aback, but Daniels told him not to worry. He was here as a fellow wrestler, and a potential friend. London told him to get on with it, and Daniels offered him a spot in The Enlightened! London didn’t know what to say, so Daniels told him to think about it, and he walked off.

--Commercial Break--

BIG NEWS: THE IMPACT AFTER BOUND FOR GLORY WILL BE LIVE FROM BOSTON!

Match 6: AJ Styles vs Paul London [Non-Title]
They went to the mat for a little, but London held his own, which pissed Styles off. He started shoving London around a bit and being somewhat condescending, so London threw a huge punch! Styles threw one back! This randomly became a slugfest, which commentary attributed to them both being high strung recently. Styles had London on the ropes, but when he rushed at him, London flipped him to the outside! PLANCHA! He tried a suplex on the floor, but AJ blocked it and charged London into the barricade! He chopped at London and tried to roll him into the ring, but London held his weight and punched him off. He tried a Superkick, but Styles ducked and FLOORED him with a HUGE Discus Lariat! London flipped inside out and crashed on the floor going into the break.

--Commercial Break--

Styles was roughing London up in the ring, but London came back with sharp kicks! Styles finally caught one and took him down with a dragon screw. He worked over the leg now, and got very aggressive at times. London’s comebacks continued the theme of big strikes, but they all just pissed AJ off even more. London started to get really brutal in his punches, and he actual cornered Styles with them! He pulled him out and tried a Piledriver, but Styles shoved away. He tried the Discus Lariat, but London ducked and hit a dropsault that sent Styles stumbling into the corner. London set AJ up top for a Superplex, but Styles fought him off with big forearms! FLYING CROSSBODY! ONE … TWO … THR - London kicked out! Styles tried the Styles Clash, but London got his legs free and pulled him into a sunset flip! ONE … TWO … TH - Styles got out! London tried a Superkick, but Styles rolled aside and swept out his bad leg! Standing Moonsault! ONE … TWO … THR - London kicked out! Styles climbed up top, but London met him there! Styles tried his forearms again, but London came back and HE RAGED WITH SOME FOREARMS OF HIS OWN! Styles got drowsy, and London tried a Frankensteiner, BUT STYLES HELD HIS WEIGHT AND HELD ONTO LONDON’S LEGS! PERFECT POSITION! SUPER STYLES CLASH! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: AJ Styles (12:44)

AJ Styles celebrated with his TNA Championship, but Alex Shelley came out! Shelley held up the X-Division Championship in AJ’s face this time, but AJ rolled out and grabbed a microphone. He told Shelley to stop trying to be cheesy, because he’s got bigger things to worry about. Ignoring the fact that he’s going to have the most embarrassing loss of his career at Bound For Glory, next week he has to face a guy that has nearly won the TNA Championship from him… LOW KI! Shelley shouted out to Styles about how he’s not scared as the show faded.

TWO BIG MATCHES TONIGHT! Collyer vs Strong for the TV Title, and 2CN vs NAMG in a 2/3 Falls Match for a tag team title shot at Bound for Glory! For commentary, Steamboat Jr joined Taz and Raven.

Match 1: James Storm/Elix Skipper vs The Tennessee Titans w/ Chris Harris
Storm and Skipper started out taking it to both guys, but Harris tripped Skipper up, and he walked into a big boot from Gunner! The Titans isolated him now, and got a good chance to show off some double-team stuff. Nothing too fancy. Big man stuff, some big clubbing. Skipper finally floated over a Murphy suplex and took him down with a headscissors! Hot tag to Storm! Basic cleaning of house. Harris tried to get involved, but Skipper took him out! Murphy stumbled to his feet, and Storm hit the Eight Second Ride to win.
Winners via pinfall: James Storm/Elix Skipper (4:09)

Storm celebrated in the ring, but Jeff Jarrett came out! He said that he could pull some strings to get Storm fired if he wanted. Storm dared him to do it, or even better, to come down to the ring and face him like a man right now! Jarrett said that wasn’t going to happen, so Storm left the ring to get him instead! Only, security poured out from behind Jarrett and formed a line to prevent Storm from going any further.

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, James Storm said that he'd take out all obstacles in the way of kicking Jeff Jarrett's ass.

Match 2: Bryan Danielson vs Doug Williams [BFG Rewind -- 2009]
Lots of mat work here. Mostly mat work, really. Danielson went after the arm, Williams went after the neck. Williams couldn’t really keep up, so he tried a few suplexes, but Danielson always blocked. He hit a Belly to Belly of his own, but Williams floated over the Eagle-Plex and landed on the apron. He laid Danielson out with a big elbow and climbed up top, but Danielson caught him coming off and put him into the LEBELL LOCK! Williams eventually tapped.
Winner via submission: Bryan Danielson (6:45)

After the match, Danielson went to commentary and said that he’d be sticking around for the title match up next.

--Commercial Break--

Match 3: Chad Collyer[c] vs Roderick Strong [TNA Television Championship]
The underlying story here is that Strong is better than Collyer (and by extension, Danielson is better than both), but Collyer kept getting lucky with Strong like he did with AmDrag. Collyer again got frustrated when Strong came with chops, but he held his cool this time. They started to pick up the pace, and it led to Strong taking him out with a SUICIDE DIVE!

--Commercial Break--

This was still pretty fast-paced, until Strong caught Collyer coming off the top for a crossbody, and countered with a backbreaker! He started going after Collyer’s back with backbreakers and stuff, but when he started with suplexes, Collyer returned the favor. He tried to end it by going after Strong’s arm, and he got in the Crossface Chickenwing! Strong got to the ropes , but couldn’t get much with his chops. Collyer tried a Belly to Belly, but Strong threw him off and hit a TILT-A-WHIRL BACKBREAKER! ONE … TWO … THR - Collyer kicked out! Strong tried to put in the Stronghold, but Collyer kicked him away! He tried the Everest German, but Strong pulled him forward into the corner! BUTTERFLY BACKBREAKER! ONE … TWO … THRE - Collyer got a foot on the bottom rope! Strong climbed up top and tried a Missile Dropkick, but Collyer moved! He tried to put in the Crossface Chickenwing again, but Strong kicked him off! STRONG BACKBREAKER! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall and NEW TNA TELEVISION CHAMPION: RODERICK STRONG (10:06)

Dat boyhood dream. The ref brought the TV Title in to Roddy, who dropped to his knees and held it lovingly. Collyer got up and looked irked, but after an awkward face-off, they shook hands. Collyer held up Strong’s arm, helped him strap on the belt, and then they left together.

--Commercial Break--

Some replays from Impact played, along with commentary discussion of them:
- Sean Hernandez killed Chuck Taylor, and put him on the injury list indefinitely
- Robert Roode beat up Lex Luger
- AJ Styles defeated Paul London, whose losing streak continues. Advertised for next week’s main event: Alex Shelley vs Low Ki!

--Commercial Break--

Match 4: Monty Brown vs Eric Young/Tyson Tomko/Tyson Dux w/ Christian Cage in a wheelchair
Lots of Monty murder. He REALLY killed Dux a bunch. Young tried to avoid the action a lot and take shots when he could. Tomko was the turning point for his team, helping finally ground Monty so they could lay into him. They worked his leg some. Tomko was also the turning point in that Monty’s comeback started after a Jumping Shoulderblock sent him to the outside. Young rushed up right into the Alpha Bomb, and then Dux got flattened by the POUNCE~~~~~~~! Period. ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Monty Brown (4:33)

Monty Brown celebrated in the ring, BUT CHRISTIAN CAGE GOT OUT OF HIS WHEELCHAIR AND SNUCK INTO THE RING! LOW BLOW TO MONTY! CHRISTIAN WAS FINE ALL ALONG! AW, SON OF A BITCH! Team Canada pounced and all started beating at Monty! Dux brought the wheel chair into the ring, folded it up, and laid it out on the mat! UNPRETTIER ONTO THE WHEELCHAIR WHEEL!

--Commercial Break--

We got a replay of Team Canada’s attack on Monty Brown, specifically the revelation that Christian Cage was faking his injury.

Match 5: Patrick Schulz vs Viktor Koslov w/ The Axis Powers
Nobody cared about this match. I’m not even 100% sure that Patrick Schulz is an actual wrestler. Koslov won with the Red Scare.
Winner via pinfall: Viktor Koslov (2:00)

Koslov celebrated in the ring, UNTIL PRINCE DEVITT RAN DOWN! GET HIM! Devitt rushed Koslov and Magnus out, but Tanaka stepped up! He went for a big running elbow, but Devitt ducked and hit his AWESOME DROPKICK! Tanaka tumbled out of the ring, and Koslov and Magnus held him back as Devitt posed.

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Kenny told TJ that they just had to regroup and they could be a great tag team as best friends. TJ said that Scott was always his real best friend, and he stormed off.

Alex Shelley conducted a pre-taped interview with Kevin Nash in the back, and Nash was clearly lobbing him softball questions. He talked up his championship and his experience as being a long-time champion, and he said that he wasn’t concerned with Low Ki on Impact. Shelley dropped the line that he has been waiting for this match with AJ for a while. For him, it’s the chance of the lifetime. For Styles, it’s a nuisance; and the training will reflect that.

--Commercial Break--

Bailout came down to ringside once more.

Match 6: New Age Machineguns vs 2 Crazy Negroes [Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match -- Best of 3 Falls]
LETHAL VS SABIN STARTED THIS MATCH. Lots of back-and-forth.

--Commercial Break--

And some more of that. Tons of callback spots to their previous matches. I haven’t really written any spots in their several matches, so I can’t really say what callback spots would be. Jacobs tried to springboard into the ring, but Creed intercepted him midair with a cutter! Lethal was up top… LETHAL ELBOW! ONE … TWO … THREE!
First fall via pinfall: 2 Crazy Negroes (10:56)
Jacobs was isolated for a bit, but he laid Creed out with a Spear to comeback. Sabin came in, and there was a big sprint between all four. Creed went for Fireman’s Cutter on Jacobs, but he floated through and shoved him into a Superkick from Sabin! Creed flew back right into the BERZKER DROP! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Second fall via pinfall: New Age Machineguns (14:14)
Jacobs hurried and climbed up top! FLYING BACK SENTON! ONE … TWO … THRE - Lethal dove to save! The New Guns dumped him out, and Creed was isolated some.

--Commercial Break--

Both teams desperate for the last fall. MORE CALLBACKS. Creed tried to springboard into the ring, but JACOBS TACKLED HIM OUT OF MIDAIR AND THEY BOTHER CRASHED TO THE OUTSIDE! Lethal and Sabin pulled themselves into the ring on opposites, tired and beaten. They pulled themselves up in the middle and started throwing raw strikes! It came down to this! Lethal and Sabin! Lethal and Sabin! Both fighting for the right to get back to their tag championship! Fighting to get to Bound For Glory! Big punches, kicks, forearms! They picked up the pace and started pulling out big moves to get the end, AND SABIN HIT A SUPERKICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - LETHAL KICKED OUT! Sabin climbed up top for the FLYING LEG DRO - NO! LEHAL MOVED! LETHAL COMBINATION! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! SABIN GOT AN ARM UP! Lethal climbed up top, but Sabin met him there! He tried a Superplex, but Lethal undid it and leapt over Sabin, landing behind him on the mat! Sabin dove off for a Reverse Crossbody, but Lethal ducked! DRAGON SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THR - Sabin kicked out! Lethal tried the Lethal Combination, but Sabin rolled through! He tried the Cradle Shock, but Lethal floated over! LETHAL COMBINATION! He climbed up top! LETHAL ELBOW! ONE … TWO … THREE!!!
Winners of the third fall, and new #1 contenders to the TNA Tag Team Championship: 2 CRAZY NEGROES (19:21)

Lethal got up to celebrated, and Creed rolled in to join him. Lethal threw up the “5-time” hand signal, and then they both motioned for the belts. Bailout held up their tag titles to close the show.

Big main event for tonight: Alex Shelley vs Low Ki! Also, more stuff.

Match 1: Sean Hernandez vs Rhett Titus
Killer squash. Titus tried one dropkick, but Hernandez didn’t even budge. Just a bunch of Hernandez offense, and he won with two Border Tosses.
Winner via pinfall: Sean Hernandez (2:19)

Hernandez celebrated in the ring, but Kurt Angle marched to the ring with a chair in hand! But as soon as he rolled in, Hernandez tackled him down! He beat at him, but when he tried the Spear, Angle dodged him AND PICKED UP THE CHAIR AND NAILED HERNANDEZ IN THE SKULL! He finally stood tall over Hernandez, before celebrating up the ramp. He posed there some, but Hernandez semi-easily stood to his feet, laughing at Angle as a little trickle of blood came down his brow. Angle looked quite concerned.

--Commercial Break--

Match 2: Samoa Joe/Richie Steamboat vs Homicide/Sean Morley
Homicide refused to get in with Joe, but he absolutely murdered Steamboat when he was in. They isolated him for a while, and Morley was plenty violent as well. Steamboat finally fought back on Morley with quick chops, but when he went to make the tag, Homicide ran across the floor to pull Joe off the apron! Joe charged at Cide, but he turned the corner and Morley tripped Joe into the barricade! Morley rolled in, and Steamboat took him down with a dropkick! He climbed up top, BUT HOMICIDE NAILED HIM WITH THE SLAPJACK! He tagged in and quickly hit Steamboat with the 187! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Homicide/Sean Morley (6:08)

Homicide kept beating at Steamboat with the slapjack for the hell of it, but Joe charged back into the ring and ran him off.

--Commercial Break--

Robert Roode came out to the IMPACT ZONE~ to cut a promo. He said that he’s spent the last several weeks to prove that all of Sting’s accomplishments are overrated, and it’s even worse that he is trying to compete today when he’s in worse shape. He went off about how he’s been in this company since 2004, and he’s been trying to fight to the top, but all along the way Sting has maintain a strong position to keep young guys like him down. And now, in the year 2011, it finally seems like the TNA original is going to make it to the top, and who else but Sting keeps him down. He said that it all ends at Bound For Glory, because “STING IS D-

- THE LIGHTS WENT OUT! They came back on… and Robert Roode was alone in the ring, holding a baseball bat!

“STING IS DONE!”

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Alex Shelley reminded everybody that his current historic title reign started by knocking off Low Ki in the first place. It took him one time and 20 minutes to knock off Low Ki, while it took AJ Styles several times and about 3 hours total to finally beat Low Ki. No contest.

Match 3: Chris Hero vs Fit Finlay
Hero wanted a slugfest here, but Finlay took him right to the mat and did some tricky European mat work. Hero tried to keep up, and he had some stuff of his own, but they put it over as it being Finlay’s specialty. Hero started to use his size to get some leverage, but Finlay attacked the leg! Hero threw him to the floor, and followed up with a TOPE CON HILO!!!

--Commercial Break--

Hero was bumping Finlay around the ring, using a Cravate Suplex or two to get some nearfalls. He started throwing some elbows, so Finlay returned some of his own, mixed in with a few slaps! Hero returned the slaps, so Finlay kicked at his leg! He pried at it some to take out his size advantage, and then took it right back to the mat. This time it was a lot more heated, with strikes thrown there every so often. Still, Finlay’s expertise in European wrestling gave him the edge through the end when he turned a fancy leg bar right into the CELTIC CROSS! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Fit Finlay (11:03)

Finlay looked somewhat surprised, but he celebrated in the ring. He tried to help Hero up, but this time Hero shoved him off and went to the back on his own.

--Commercial Break--

AJ Styles finally had a real sit-down interview, this with Mike Tenay. Just a few clips shown. He talked some about how he’s beaten everybody on the TNA roster, and so nothing comes as a surprise to him. He assured his fans that he is taking this challenge from Shelley seriously, just as he takes all his title challenges.

Christy Hemme caught up with Hero in the back, but he said that he was sick of Finlay’s attitude toward him. He said that Doug Williams, Dave Taylor, and Fit Finlay are all experts in European-style wrestling, and that’s not his fault that he didn’t grow up with that.

Backstage, Brian Kendrick tried to talk to Paul London about the Enlightened. London told him that he had to do this on his own, but that he knows he needs a change.

--Commercial Break--

Match 4: Amazing Red vs Christopher Daniels w/ The Enlightened
Semi-showcase for Daniels. It was mostly him dominating, but in a continuation of him being on a downward spiral, he couldn’t finish it at several points when he should have. Red actually got a couple decent comebacks in, but the Enlightened got involved to help out some. Daniels eventually blocked the Code Red with a Blue Thunder Driver, and then pulled him right up for the Last Rites to win.
Winner via pinfall: Christopher Daniels (5:21)

Post-match, Daniels called down Paul London for his decision! London came down, but before he could say anything, Daniels took the time to point out that London’s career is going nowhere. In fact, he’s at a worst spot now than ever before. But Daniels has seen that before. He’s seen it with Jimmy Rave, Frankie Kazarian, Daffney, and even himself. But with one another, they pull together and make a sum far greater than their parts. And with that, he formally invited, in front of the entire world, for Paul London to join the ranks of The Enlightened! London briefly thought about it… but denied! Daniels looked piiiissed. London started to leave, but Daniels told him not so fast! He snapped his fingers, and Ravarian grabbed onto London! He tried to fight it, but they forced him to the ground and kept him contained! Danielson got down to the floor and got real close to him, and let Paul London know that he is Christopher Daniels, and he can snap him whenever and wherever he wants. He grinned, and signaled for his stable to leave, and they all returned up the ramp together. London pulled himself up and looked confused, but Daniels stopped at the top of the ramp and turned back to the ring to say something to London. He told him that, at Bound For Glory, he would show the world just how much Paul London needs to be Enlightened.

--Commercial Break--

Bound For Glory Report with Raven!
- Under orders of Dixie Carter, nobody has been granted a ringside license for the show, meaning that Angelina Love, Rhino, Jackie Moore, Chris Harris, the Enlightened, etc. would have to stay backstage.
- Rumor has it that JBL has threatened to disown Bailout if they lose.
- Samoa Joe vs Low Ki vs Homicide has been made NO DISQUALIFICATION
- New Age Machineguns vs Ravarian has been signed as the main event of the Bound For Glory pre-show. The pre-show can be viewed for free on TNAwrestling.com

--Commercial Break--

LIVE IMPACT IN TWO WEEKS!

Match 5: Low Ki vs Alex Shelley w/ Rhino & Angelina Love [Non-Title]
In a continuing theme, Shelley took it right Low Ki with stiff strikes, determined to be outdone by nothing. Low Ki raged back even harder, but Shelley pretty much kept up! Completely offended, Low Ki started going after Shelley’s arm to shut down his strikes, and he was brutal as usual. Shelley finally shook him off with a Single Knee Facebreaker! He stomped at him on the mat, but Low Ki dodged him in the corner and Shelley crashed into the turnbuckle. Low Ki tried the Springboard Roundhouse, but Shelley ducked! He chucked Low Ki out of the ring, and finally got a breather. He started to go the floor, but he stopped when he saw AJ Styles come down to ringside!

--Commercial Break--

Big back-and-forth now. Every time Shelley noticed Styles watching, he actually upped his game and looked really strong. Low Ki kept going back to the arm to keep Shelley off, and it prevented the Shellshock at one point. The end came when Homicide made his way down to the ring! Styles stood up to try to stop him, and a small argument distracted the ref, and Shelley kicked Low Ki in the balls! Roll-up! ONE … TWO … THRE - Low Ki kicked out! The ref turned back to deal with the problem on the outside, but Homicide had snuck away. The ref warned AJ instead, all while Cide snuck in! Low Ki was fight back on Shelley with kicks, but he turned RIGHT INTO THE 187!!! He rolled out as Shelley climbed up for the SPIRAL TAP! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Alex Shelley (15:46)

Homicide backed up the ramp, RIGHT INTO SAMOA JOE! Joe ran him off. Shelley pulled himself up in the ring, but he turned into AJ Styles again! Once more, Styles held his belt in the air in front of Shelley’s face! The show started to fade, right? NAH! SHELLEY PUNCHED STYLES IN THE FACE! STYLES SLUGGED HIM BACK! IT WAS ON! They brawled around the ring, but only briefly, because agents and officials poured out to keep them apart! They were ripped out of the ring and separated, despite a big struggle, to now really close the show.

Taz, Raven, and Sean Morley were on commentary tonight. They hyped the main event of Chris Sabin vs Low Ki!

Clips played of Prince Devitt returning last week, with him running off the Axis Powers in revenge for them putting him out with a concussion.

Match 1: Prince Devitt vs Kenny King
Basic match, where both guys got to showcase much of their signature stuff. King worked the legs to try to slow him down, but Devitt fought back with some flying clothesline and whatnot. Devitt botched a springboard because of his leg, and King swooped in Swinging Neckbreaker! ONE … TWO … THRE - Devitt kicked out! King tried the Coronation, but Devitt threw him away with a headscissors! King flew into the corner, then bounced back into the BLOODY SUNDAY! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Prince Devitt (5:28)

Devitt celebrated, but The Axis Powers appeared on the tron. Koslov told Devitt that he would pay the price for messing with the powers, and as his punishment, he would face Brutus Magnus next week!

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Kenny King told TJ Perkins that he could have used his help out there, but TJ said that he owed Kenny nothing.

Match 2: Ravarian w/ Daffney vs Los Infernales w/ Volador
The luchas were hot at the start, flipping around to throw the emos off their game. Kaz finally dodged a running crossbody from Averno, and quickly followed up with a gutbuster! He was isolated some, and just as he started to make a comeback, Rave cut him off with a Wheelbarrow Suplex!

--Commercial Break--

Averno was till cut off in the ring, but when Rave tried a DDT, Averno spun through and hit a Wheel Kick! Rave tried to cut him off again, but this time Averno hit a WHEELBARROW BULLDOG! HOT TAG TO MEPHISTO! He came in with a Springboard Wheel Kick to Rave, and followed up with a few dropkicks for Kaz! Rave stumbled to his feet, and Mephisto hit a SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! ONE … TWO … THRE - Rave kicked out! He tried a hurricanrana, but Rave threw him off! He went for the All the Rave, but Averno used a headscissors to send him into the corner! He set him up top, and Averno came over! They set him up for the Spanish Fly, but Kaz ran over and PULLED AVERNO OFF WITH A POWERBOMB! Both guys were standing up on the top turnbuckle, RAVE LEAPT UP AND HIT A SUPER HURRICANRANA OFF THE TOP! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Ravarian (9:24)

They celebrated in the ring and shouted that Daniels would teach Paul London a lesson at Bound For Glory.

--Commercial Break--

James Storm and Jackie Moore came out to the ring, and he called out Jeff Jarrett. He never came, so Storm went off about how Double J is a Double Bitch, and he lined up security guards to make sure he doesn’t get an ass-whoopin’ from the Tennessee Cowboy! Jarrett finally came out, and said to stop the talking, because there was a match tonight. He said he talked to Nash, and he had a match tonight, with YOU! Storm looked excited, but Jarrett told him not so fast. It wasn’t Jeff Jarrett vs James Storm tonight… it was Jeff Jarrett vs JACKIE MOORE! HA HA HA OH SORRY BOUT YER DAMN LUCK, JACKIE.

Low Ki arrived backstage.

--Commercial Break--

Lethal and Creed were in the back, talking about earning the right to fight for their tag titles again. They talked about their long path as a team, holding the tag titles a while ago, forging an alliance with Booker T, and Lethal fighting with Booker T to defend the belts and help extend Book’s career as a wrestler. Bailout then walked by! 2CN looked tense, but Burke laughed. He dropped a dollar bill on the floor, and told them not to fight too bitterly over who gets to buy a loaf of bread this week. Bailout walked off, very rich.

Match 3: Roderick Strong/Bryan Danielson/Chad Collyer vs The Young Bucks/Ken Doane
Showcase for the faces. The Bucks obviously did contrived stuff just to be dicks. Strong sort of tried to take the lead here as new TV Champion, but the other two engaged in some one-upsmanship. Max Buck tried a 360 off the top into a hammerlock, but Strong undid it right into the Strong Backbreaker to win!
Winners via pinfall: Roderick Strong/Bryan Danielson/Chad Collyer (3:47)

Post-match, Danielson grabbed a microphone. He pointed out that 3 weeks ago, he beat Roderick Strong one-on-one, so he deserves a TV Title match! Collyer pointed out that he beat Danielson 2 weeks ago. Strong pointed out that he just beat Collyer last week. Kevin Nash came out and said that they all happen to make good points, and so he is signing Strong vs Collyer vs Danielson for the TV Title at Bound For Glory!

--Commercial Break--

James Storm came down to the ring, but Jarrett told him that by orders of Kevin Nash, he had been banned from ringside!

Match 4: Jeff Jarrett vs Jackie Moore
We all know Jarrett hates women. Moore tried to beg off, but Jarrett puller her up by the hair and hit a Side Belly to Belly, lol. He kicked her around and was totally awesome. She did get in a couple slaps, but then he threw her down and put in the Figure Four, and she tapped.
Winner via submission: Jeff Jarrett (0:51)

Jarrett pulled her up for the Stroke, but Storm rushed down to the ring! He ran Jarrett off, but the Tennessee Titans ran down to the ring. They fought Storm, but Jackie snuck up and low blowed both of them! But Jarrett snuck in AND HIT JACKIE MOORE WITH THE STROKE! Storm got up and nearly got him, but Jarrett JUST escaped. Storm looked irate as he helped Jackie up and carried her to the back.

--Commercial Break--

Team Canada came down to the ring, and Christian admitted that he did fake his injury, and his lawyer was Clarence Mason’s nephew. But all that showed what he knew all along: Monty Brown is a stupid oaf, who gets lucky time after time. Monty came down now and told Christian to shut his damn mouth. Christian kept trolling him, and made fun of the fact that he keeps coming back to TNA and getting REALLY close the winning the World Title, but he’s just not good enough to do it. Monty got really pissed now, and Christian said Monty’s biggest mistake was leaving Team Canada, and he would never amount to anything without a master to oversee him. AND MONTY ATTACKED CHRISTIAN! He beat him down with punches, but Team Canada jumped Monty! BUT MONTY THREW THEM ALL OFF! The numbers game finally got to him though, and Team Canada engaged in an old fashioned stable beatdown. Christian laid him out with the Unprettier :(

--Commercial Break--

Match 5: Bailout vs Asian Tigers [Non-Title]
Mostly a squash. Kiyoshi got in some stiff JAP-O-NEEZ strikes, but Davey no-sold them and laid him out with a Yakuza Kick. The champs pulled him up for the Capital Gains to win.
Winners via pinfall: Bailout (2:39)

The Negroes came out to the stage and said that yeah, they’re from ****ty areas, maybe even areas that Bailout would never step foot. But that gives them the fight that they have. And if Bailout wants to bring out street in 2 Crazy Negroes, then let the street pour the hell out. AND THE NEGROES RUSHED THE RING! Davey tried to meet them with strikes, but the Negroes totally overwhelmed them with wild blows! Bailout finally got too beaten, and they escaped to the outside. 2CN stood tall in the ring and motioned for the belts.

--Commercial Break--

Jarrett was tending to Jackie in the back, and he said that Jarrett was going to die at BFG.

A pre-taped Paul London promo played, where he talked about facing Chris Daniels at Bound For Glory. He said that he needs a change in his career, but that change isn’t joining the Enlightened. He said that he doesn’t know why Daniels wants him in his stable, but he doesn’t need Daniels, and he’ll prove it at BFG.

Sabin was doing a few final stretches in the back, and Jacobs told him that even though wouldn’t be at BFG, tonight could be a big win for him. Sabin said he’d take back a spot as a top name tonight, and they walked off.

--Commercial Break--

Match 6: Low Ki vs Chris Sabin w/ Jimmy Jacobs [BFG Rewind -- 2006]
Sabin tried to keep up on the mat, but Low Ki kept shutting him down. Sabin finally upped the pace, and he actually out-MOVED~ Low Ki for a stretch. Sabin just started going through moves like a video game, and he topped it off with a NO-HANDS SUICIDE DIVE!

--Commercial Break--

Sabin was still trying big moves, but he eventually slowed down, and couldn’t really get much off cleanly. Commentary said it was because Sabin is used to being a tag wrestler and being able to go all out, then tag out to his partner. But now he’s dug himself into a hole. Low Ki dominated now, and Sabin tried some comebacks. Low Ki went to the arm a little bit just to make it even harder, and he landed a Springboard Roundhouse right to the arm. Sabin held at his arm, and Low Ki hit a KOPPOU KICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Sabin kicked out! Low Ki pulled him up for the Ki Krusher, but Sabin countered with a Falling DDT! Both guys fought to their feet, AND HOMICIDE RAN DOWN! He tried to get in, but Low Ki kicked him out! He turned around and Sabin tried the Cradle Shock, but Low Ki reversed into the KI KRUSHER! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Low Ki (11:30)

Homicide rushed back in the ring, but Low Ki tackled him down! They had a big pull-apart brawl to close the show.

Welcome to the go-home show! Some squashes, Christian vs Hero, and a six-man tag in the main event. Plus, Alex Shelley has a big announcement!

Match 1: Samoa Joe vs Rhett Titus
Total squash by Joe. Like absolute murder to really hype his BFG match. Finally choked him out.
Winner via submission: Samoa Joe (0:45)

The Enlightened arrived backstage.

--Commercial Break--

Clips from an AJ Styles pre-taped interview played. He talked about how Shelley has beaten Storm, Monty, and Low Ki the past few weeks in Impact, but all with outside interference. AJ Styles has never needed outside interference, and nobody is going to get it at BFG. And that’s just one of the many reasons why the Phenomenal One is going to walk out a double champion.

Brian Kendrick was backstage, and the Enlightened came up! He looked ready to defend, but Daniels told him to stand down. He apologized that the Enlightened didn’t want Kendrick, but he warned him not to get in his buddy’s way of joining their ranks.

Team Canada arrived backstage.

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Roode talked about all the great things that Sting has done in his career. And Double R has had some decent accomplishments in TNA, but nothing to make his name be remembered. But at BFG, Roode conquers the legend, makes a name for himself, and goes on to fulfill his destiny as a top guy in TNA.

Match 2: Homicide vs Kiyoshi w/ Okato
More brutal stuff. Kiyoshi actually fought back some, but Cide shut him down with stiff strikes. Homicide beat him down with some stiff punches, then hit the Gringo Killer to win.
Winner via pinfall: Homicide (1:26)

The Axis Powers arrived backstage.

--Commercial Break--

LIVE IMPACT NEXT WEEK!

Bound For Glory Report with Raven!
- Christian Cage vs Monty Brown has been made official
- Christopher Daniels vs Paul London has indeed been signed to Bound For Glory
- Daniels has called him beating London a “prophesy.” But then again, Daniels has prophesized that he would win every match, and he usually loses.
- Kevin Nash took the lead in signing Strong vs Collyer vs Danielson as the TV Title match for BFG
- Strong has been racking up a couple TV Title defenses at house shows to prepare. Check some of those out if TNA is coming to a city near you!

--Commercial Break--

Alex Shelley was backstage, and he made a shout out for AJ Styles to meet him in the ring for his big announcement tonight.

Match 3: Christian Cage vs Chris Hero
Commentary went into depth about the long history between this two, including the World Heavyweight Championship, Edge, and Claudio. Wait, WHAT?! Nah. Hero dominated with his size and technique, but Christian found ways to be a sneaky C.L.B. Hero tried a Cravate Suplex, but Christian pulled him back, ramming the back of his head into the turnbuckle! Hero was down going into the break.

--Commercial Break--

Christian was working over the back of Hero’s head, but his forearms served as an invitation for Hero to throw his own strikes! A slight slugfest gave Hero the advantage, and he finally sent Christian out of the ring with a big clothesline! TOPE CON HILO! He hit a suplex on the floor, and quickly rolled Cage in! ONE … TWO … THR - Christian kicked out! Hero actively wore at his back, and whenever Christian tried to cheat, Hero set him back with his big strikes. He tried the Cyclone Kill, but Cage ducked and hit a dropkick to the back of the head! He kept trying to finish off Hero, but he managed to survive well. Christian tried a Spear, but Hero jumped over. HERO’S WELCO - No! Christian slipped away, UNPRETTIER! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Christian Cage (11:40)

Christian celebrated in the ring, BUT MONTY BROWN RAN DOWN! Christian bailed, and Monty shouted at him from the ring.

--Commercial Break--

Chris Hero got to the back, and Finlay was there. He said that Hero should really get to practicing a bit more, and he could teach him something about European wrestling. Hero said he already has a friend that could do that, and his friend is very European.

Backstage, Kendrick told London not to trust Daniels, and to go into his BFG grateful for an opportunity to beat Daniels aggressively. London said he obviously doesn’t trust Daniels. That’s obvious… right?

Booker T was in his office, and the 2 Crazy Negroes came in! Booker told him that he was proud of them for working their way back up to a tag title shot, after putting off any conflict between them. Creed said that the BFG match would be dedicated to him, since by losing them in the first place, Booker had to retire. Book told them not to put too much pressure on it, but Lethal told him that everything was on the line here, and the Negroes would come through.

--Commercial Break--

Match 4: Low Ki vs Sean Morley
MORE MURDER. Low Ki just raaaaged with kicks, and finally hit the Ki Krusher and two Ghetto Stomps for fun, and the win.
Winner via pinfall: Low Ki (1:22)

Low Ki celebrated in the ring, but Homicide ran out after him with the slapjack! He attacked, BUT JOE RAN DOWN! They all fought, and Homicide laid out Low Ki with the 187, but then turned into the MUSCLE BUSTER! Joe stood tall.

Hernandez was watching from the back, and then he turned to the camera. “This sh*t won’t have no happy ending. Oh, it’s real. It’s damn real.”

LIVE IMPACT NEXT WEEK!

Team Canada (not Cage), the Enlightened, and the Axis Powers all at ringside.

Match 5: The Hooliganz/Monty Brown vs Robert Roode/Jimmy Rave/Viktor Koslov
Londrick and Rave/Koslov had a pretty fast sprint, and then Roode tagged in to try the same. At first he kept up with the Hooliganz, but they upped the pace even more to throw him off. Kendrick hit a couple of headscissors, but when he tried a springboard hurricanrana, Roode countered into a POWERBOMB! The heels picked him apart briefly, but he floated over a Rave suplex and countered with a Heel Kick! HOT TAG TO MONTY! He threw everybody around, and flattened Koslov coming off with the FLYING SHOULDERBLOCK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Roode dove to save! He tried the Payoff, but Monty picked him up and chucked him to the outside! Koslov and Rave charged, but the Hooliganz intercepted with STEREO SUPERKICKS! All three heels fell to the outside, and the faces got excited and stuff going into the break.

--Commercial Break--

The faces were all taking turns killing Koslov, because that is always fun. All dem heel stables teamed up to turn the tide, and London got caught up in all of it. Daniels shouted at Rave to work his arm, and he did, as did the rest of the heels. Rave got London in a cross-armbreaker, but London quickly grabbed the ropes. Rave kept it on as Daniels came over and told him, “I can snap you,” but then told Rave to release. They still kept picking him apart, but London got a flash Superkick on Koslov! HOT TAG TO KENDRICK! He cleaned house with his high-flying some, and then he tagged in Monty to REALLY clean up! Some big back-and-forth moves later, Monty hit Rave with the POUNCE~~~~~~! PERIOD! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: The Hooliganz/Monty Brown (12:28)

The faces celebrated in the ring, but Christian Cage ran down to attack Monty! Team Canada joined in, but the faces fought them off! In all the hubbub, Daniels grabbed London! Ravarian helped hold him in place, and Daniels whispered to London that he’d learn his lesson on Sunday. Very rape-like, tbh.

--Commercial Break--

DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER! Alex Shelley came out on his own. He talked some about much of what he has been saying the past few weeks: Styles hasn’t trained for this fight, while he has been preparing for this for months; Styles is hilariously delusional in believing himself to be The Man in TNA, when in fact the biggest name in TNA has always been its best wrestler, which is undeniably Alex Shelley; the X-Division Championship is the most talked-about, most important, and most prestigious championship in TNA, and the entire world.

AJ Styles came out now, and told Shelley it was time to stop this nonsense. He said that when Shelley draws millions for this company (lol), beats every former world champion in this company (lol), and headlines every highest-grossing PPV in TNA history (lol), THEN he can earn the right to cut long drawn out promos riddled with bold promises and half-truths (okay, that explains the previous statements). But until then, he can ask permission to step foot in the ring with a legend. And so now, here’s AJ Styles, and now Alex Shelley has his permission to speak, and so now everybody can finally listen.

Shelley started to talk about being the best around here, but Styles EXPLODED in anger. He shouted about how Shelley has beat some damn fine talents, but he’s NEVER beaten AJ Styles.

Styles: …AND ALEX, I KNOW BECAUSE I’VE SEEN IT, I KNOW BECAUSE A PERSONAL FRIEND HAS TOLD ME, AND I KNOW BECAUSE I’VE FOUGHT, SWEAT, AND BLED TO GET THERE… TO BE THE MAN, YOU’VE GOT TO BEAT THE MAN! AND THIS IS 2011, AND I AM THE MAN! YOU’VE STEPPED INTO MY TERRITORY. THIS IS TNA, AND THIS IS THE HOUSE THAT AJ STYLES BUILT.

Shelley: AJ, this is where you fail to understand the situation at all. You’re used to facing challengers to your spot on top. You roll through them -- the Low Kis, the Joes, then Danielses, the Angles, the Christians, the RVDs, the Jarretts -- and you consider them your proof that you’re “The Man.” You treat it like game, where you rack up a good win percentage, and proclaim yourself the ultimate winner. But this isn’t a game to me, AJ. This is the real f*cking thing.

He held up his X-Division Championship

Shelley: THIS IS THE REAL F*CKING THING. This means EVERYTHING to me, in a way that you could never understand. You try everything you can to define your title, but my title defines me AJ, and I embrace that. I let it define me, because I realize that that’s the way to make a championship mean anything, make a champion mean anything.

Styles: Spoken like a true rookie in over his head. You’ve got no idea what you’re getting into here. The last two years I’ve walked out of Bound For Glory the TNA World Champion, and the only thing different about this year, is that I’ll walk out with the X-Division Championship as well.

Shelley: Ah, bold words indeed. But I’m glad that you’ve brought up that hypothetical, because it’s what my announcement here tonight concerns. Over the past two years I’ve been trying night after night to convince people not only that my X-Division Championship is the most precious belt in the industry, but also that your TNA Championship is a farce--a prop set up by a group of power-hungry individuals who want to feel good about wearing some heavy leather around their waist. That’s why Planet Jarrett first formed to help good ol’ Double J keep it, to feed into his desire to control everything about this company. It’s why the influential veterans coalesced around Kurt Angle and Sting, so that they could feel good about one of their own having the belt. And it’s why the people here give you opportunity after opportunity, constantly tilting the game toward your favor so that you can always wear it around your waist. You get to main event BFG three years running? You get to compete for the title even when you’re medically barred? You get thrown into number one contender’s matches just because Dixie likes your stupid stud earrings? It’s absurd, AJ, and it’s corrupt. And that’s why I’ve spent all my time fighting against it. And that’s also why, come Bound For Glory, only one of us will walk out. Literally.

Styles looked confused.

Shelley: I don’t mean you and I, AJ. I mean me and that belt of yours.

Styles shifted the belt on his shoulder, to make sure its presence was known.

Shelley: Here’s my big announcement. AJ Styles, Booker T, Dixie Carter, TNA fans, be warned… if, no, when I win at Bound For Glory, and that TNA World Championship is awarded to me, I have every intention in the world of destroying it in front of everybody’s eyes.

Styles: What the hell are you talking about?

Shelley: If I win the TNA Championship, I will be the final champion, for the belt will be no more. There will only be one championship, and it will be my precious X-Division title. And I know this concerns you, but think about how I feel. The very prospect of me losing my X-Division Championship…

Alex shuddered at the thought.

Shelley: I hate even thinking about it. And that’s why I could never live with it. And that has lead me to the second half of the equation. I said earlier that only one of us would walk out. And if the TNA Championship survives… that is, if you are victorious, and you snatch my X-Division Champions from my waist and from my heart…

Alex kissed his title dearly, and then looked AJ square in the eyes.

Shelley: Then I’m done here. I’LL QUIT.

GASP! Shelley dropped his microphone and hugged his championship close to his heart. Styles started to say something, but was at a loss. He held his title in the air to get it in Shelley’s face, but Shelley completely ignored him. He kept on up the ramp, keeping his gaze directly on his X-Division Championship, all the way to the back. AJ Styles was left alone in the ring, and he started to raise his belt, but instead he held it to his chest like Shelley did, and he said aloud, “I am the Man” over and over, half letting everybody else know, half trying to convince himself.

Tonight: Storm vs Burke and Hero/Shark Boy vs Finlay/a partner of his choice. Xplosion guest host? DON WEST! He shat on Taz the whole night.

Match 1: James Storm vs Elijah Burke w/ Davey Richards
Storm was stronger, Burke used his tag partner and cunning to keep up. They did stuff briefly until the Tennessee Titans, Eric Young, and Chris Harris ran out to attack Storm.
No contest due to interference (3:13)

The 2 Crazy Negroes ran down to help Storm, but Planet Jarrett 3.0 beat them down too. But the New Age Machineguns ran down to help the faces! They all cleared the ring, and Kevin Nash came out. He booked a 12-man tag match in the main event, but pointed out that the faces were one man short. So he would add, oh, I don’t know, MONTY BROWN TO THEIR TEAM!

--Commercial Break--

An Enlightened promo played, and Chris Daniels talked about how his career has sucked recently, but a win at Bound For Glory would be HUGE. He said that he and London are both in horrible places, and when London loses, he’ll be in a desperate spot. And desperate people do desperate things, and sometimes that means it’s time for them to be Enlightened.

That Kurt Angle career retrospective played.

Danielson/Collyer vs Ravarian, NEXT!

--Commercial Break--

TV Champion Roderick Strong came down to ringside to watch.

Match 2: Bryan Danielson/Chad Collyer vs Ravarian w/ Daffney
Danielson and Rave had a decent segment on the mat, and Rave stuck to his average but perfectly acceptable headlocks and armbars. Danielson got super fancy, and he and Collyer managed to isolate Kazarian. Danielson wanted to work his neck, but Collyer wanted to work the back. Their miscommunications led to Rave sneaking in and dumping Collyer to the outside! Kaz got out to attack Collyer, and Danielson went for his Tope Suicida, but Rave intercepted him with a Running Knee! Danielson was loopy going into the break.

--Commercial Break--

Still loopy. Ravarian was working over Danielson’s skull with raw punches and stuff. Kaz tried the Fade to Black, but Danielson countered into a Boston Crab! Kaz got the ropes and tagged in Rave, BUT COLLYER TAGGED IN TOO! Suplexes everywhere. Danielson joined in too, and they cleaned house. Rave tried a DDT on Danielson, but he shoved him into Collyer’s CROSSFACE CHICKENWING! Rave struggled, and Kaz dove to break it up! It broke down into a quick back-and-forth, and finally Danielson and Collyer got along. Collyer hit Kaz with the Everest German, but then stood up and Rave chucked him to the outside! Danielson sent Rave out with the Shotgun Dropkick, and then climbed up top! FLYING HEADBUTT TO KAZ! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Bryan Danielson/Chad Collyer (10:54)

Danielson celebrated in the ring, and Collyer rolled in. He looked unsettled, but then patted Danielson on the back. Strong joined both guys in the ring and nodded his head, then they all left together.

--Commercial Break--

A Jeff Jarrett pre-tape played, and he said that James Storm thinks he’s something special here in TNA. But he’s seen tons of boys rise up the ranks--Konnan, Abyss, Ron Killings, Dustin Rhodes, Tyson Tomko--they all came to TNA, rose up the ranks, and then ultimately amounted to nothing. They couldn’t fight the system that Jarrett himself put in place. And James Storm is going to suffer the same fate. Just like all who have become nothing, Storm had found the dead end: Double J himself. Jarrett decides when TNA careers end, and Bound For Glory marks the end for James Storm.

--Commercial Break--

Match 3: Prince Devitt vs Brutus Magnus w/ Koslov & Tanaka
Devitt bumped him around at first, but some interference slowed that down. The ref caught Koslov tripping Devitt, so he sent them to the back! Still, the shenanigans gave Magnus a control segment, and he used his size to wear down his neck. He tried the Tormentum, but Devitt headscissored him away! He followed up with some Awesome Dropkicks, and then tried a Gutbuster, but Magnus threw him away! He tried a running knee, but Devitt ducked and hit an Overhead Kick! BLOODY SUNDAY! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Prince Devitt (5:23)

Devitt celebrated, but the other Powers ran back out! They tried to attack, but he kicked them both out, and taunted them to the back.

--Commercial Break--

Roode got some mic time in the back. He cut an extended promo and pointed out a pattern in this year’s Bound For Glory. Yes, the main event if Shelley vs Styles. But under that, there are four headlining matches: Angle vs Hernandez, Jarrett vs Storm, Christian vs Monty, and of course Roode vs Sting. Four wrestling legends and TNA mainstays trying to defend their spots against four up-and-comers, scraping for an opening the veterans leave behind. And good for those three, trying to make a statement. But Roode said that his challenge is different, because it’s against a guy that is arguably one of the greatest of all time, yet he hasn’t been active in over two years. And so, Roode faces a challenge that is both unwinnable and un-losable at the same time. It would be an enormous accomplishment to win, and yet an enormous embarrassment to lose. Roode said that he has everything on the line going into this, and he has to come through.

Backstage, Bailout talked about their dirty challengers for BFG. Davey never really talked, but he did say that he didn’t wanna fight no dirty Negroes. Burke said that they can call him an Uncle Tom, but he calls himself a young millionaire investor, and that makes him a better man that either Lethal or Creed.

Backstage, Fit Finlay said that Chris Hero is talented, but he’s a little shithead. To be fair though, Finlay finds most people to be shitheads. One exception? His partner tonight… BOBBY FUCKING EATON.

--Commercial Break--

Match 4: Chris Hero/Shark Boy vs Fit Finlay/BOBBY FUCKING EATON
This was mostly Hero vs Finlay, which meant it was mostly very violent. Shark Boy tried to bite Finlay in the ass, so Finlay kicked him in the face. BOBBY EATON DID A DROPKICK! Hero threw Eaton to the outside and beat the shit out of Finlay with kicks and forearms. He tried the Hero’s welcome, but Finlay countered into a roll-up with tights! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Fit Finlay/Earl Robert Eaton (5:59)

Finlay laughed and helped Hero up, then patted him on the back, but Hero shoved him on his ass!

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Finlay berated Hero again and told that he really needed to improve his European mat work. Hero told him that he’s been working with his very European friend, and he’s ready to face him in the ring again, in 5 days on Impact.

The entire closing segment from Impact played.

--Commercial Break--

Match 5: Monty Brown/James Storm/2 Crazy Negroes/New Age Machineguns vs Bailout/Tennessee Titans/Chris Harris/Eric Young
Burke and Storm started where they left off, and Storm bumped him around now. Monty joined in, but when Jacobs did, he got caught up in cheating. It didn’t last long before he laid out Young with a Spear, and a nearfall made everything break down. A mini-dive train broke out, topped off by a MONTY BROWN BODY PRESS TO THE FLOOR!

--Commercial Break--

More chaotic action, but all the faces were mostly protected, so it was a lot of the faces getting long segments to bump around the undercard heels. Bailout was protected too though, and actually seldom chose to get in the ring. Harris lost to the POUNCE~~~~~~! Period.
Winners via pinfall: Monty Brown/James Storm/2 Crazy Negroes/New Age Machineguns (10:03)

Face celebration.

A big ass hype video played to build for Bound For Glory. WE’LL SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT!

TNA Bound For Glory VII
New York City, New York
Hammerstein Ballroom
October 16, 2011

HERE. WE. GO.

Mike Tenay, Taz, and Jim Cornette at the booth. They welcomed everybody live from the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom for the first time in TNA history. Raven reported from backstage, revealing that he would be doing the backstage interviews tonight. Then a big hype video played going over how super special Bound For Glory is.

The Beach Boys sang the National Anthem.

A big hype video played going over some build to the show, all dubbed over by generic rock music, since we spent all of our production budget hiring the Beach Boys.

Commentary reiterated Dixie Carter’s executive ban on people at ringside, which prevented the Enlightened and Brian Kendrick from being here for this match.

Match 1: Christopher Daniels vs Paul London
Daniels tried to lure London into a slow start, but London came right at him with a flurry of punches! Daniels kept trying to slow him into a mat game, but London would have none of it. Daniels finally gave in and threw some strikes back, but London overwhelmed him to the outside. London tried to follow him out, but Daniels hit an enzuigiri! London’s head was hanging out the ropes, and DANIELS PULLED HIM OUT WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR! Daniels rolled him back in and immediately went to work on his neck. Not really any rest holds, but lots of stomping and elbows. He tried the Last Rites, but London spun through and came off with a flying forearm! He made his comeback with lots of high-flying, holding his neck after each bump. Daniels kept going back to the neck to shut him down, but London was on fire, so we just got a back-and-forth. London got off a big Springboard Dropkick and then lined up for the Superkick, but Daniels ducked! He tried a Blue Thunder Driver off the ropes, but London popped up and came down with a hurricanrana! Daniels rolled through and charged, but London ducked a clothesline and tried the Waffle Face! He got Daniels up, but Daniels countered midair into the KOJI CLUTCH! London struggled, but finally elbowed his way out! Daniels quickly pulled him up for the Angel’s Wings, but London body dropped away and held the bridge! ONE … TWO … THRE - Daniels kicked out! They both got up and London tried another hurricanrana, but Daniels threw him over his head! London tried a quick Superkick, but Daniels caught his leg and countered right into a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! ONE … TWO … THRE - London got an arm up! Daniels pulled him up for a big short-arm clothesline to the back of his neck and hit the LAST RIT - No! London spun through! HEEL KICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Daniels got a foot on the bottom rope! London went up top for the Shooting Star Press, but Daniels was up and brought him down with an ICONOCLASM! ONE … TWO … THRE - London kicked out! Daniels immediately got up for the BEST MOONSAULT EV - NO! LONDON MOVED! But Daniels landed on his feet! He charged in for a clothesline to the back of the head, but London ducked! He tried the Waffle Face, but Daniels punched at his neck to get free! LAST RITES! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Christopher Daniels (10:55)

Daniels got up and celebrated his first PPV pinfall victory in 14 months! London got up and looked sad, but Daniels rolled back in the ring and lifted London up. The Enlightened came down to the ring and escorted Daniels to the back, all while London looked on.

AJ Styles was warming up in the back, his TNA Championship laying right beside him.

Planet Jarrett 3.0 was pumping Jeff Jarrett up in the back, and Double J told Harris to pass him something off-screen. He did, and it was his good ol’ guitar. Jarrett said that Storm would be hearing a familiar tune tonight.

Commentary talked about the history between Strong, Collyer, and Danielson, especially their recent stuff since winning the Trios Grand Prix.

Match 2: Roderick Strong[c] vs Chad Collyer vs Bryan Danielson [TNA Television Championship]
Collyer went right for Danielson, as the only guy that he had beaten here. Strong teamed up with him for a bit, given their stronger history, and the fact that he knows Danielson can beat him. Strong didn’t let it get too much into “double-teaming” territory before he went after Collyer himself. Lots of three-man spots. Collyer found himself in over his head a bunch when he tried to go after both opponents. He kept trying to get one of the other guys to team up with him to take out the other, but it eventually turned into Strong and Danielson ganging up on him! A German Suplex/Lungblower Combination to Collyer took him out of the equation for a while. They called back to their Xplosion match with Danielson really going after the arm, and Roddy responding with a bunch of his stiff thigh-slapping knees and kicks. He really targeting Danielson’s back with them, and eventually wore him down enough to get off a BUTTERFLY BACKBREAKER! ONE … TWO … THR - Danielson kicked out! Strong tried to keep on, but the nearfall only pissed him off. AmDrag came back with a huuuuge flurry of kicks, chops, elbows, and a couple headbutts! Strong teetered against the ropes, so Danielson ran across, BUT INSTEAD FLEW OUT WITH A TOPE SUICIDE TO COLLYER, WHO WAS GETTING UP! He rushed back into the ring and tried his Shotgun Clothesline to Strong, but Strong ducked! SICK KICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Danielson kicked out! Strong pulled him up! GIBSON DRIVER! ONE … TWO … THR - Danielson got an arm up! Strong yanked him up again! STRONG BACKBREAKER! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! COLLYER DOVE TO SAVE! Strong tried one on him, but Collyer elbowed away AND GOT STRONG INTO THE CROSSFACE CHICKENWING! Strong struggled as Collyer pulled back at the arm that Danielson had been working over. Strong was too far from the ropes, but Danielson JUST broke it up! Collyer tried to put him into the Chickenwing, but Danielson countered and got him into the LEBELL LOCK! But Strong quickly broke it up with a sliding lariat! All three men fought to their feet, and just started trading blows! Danielson got the best with his kicks, but Collyer ducked a roundhouse and hit a GERMAN SUPLEX! He tried one on Strong, but Strong elbowed away! He went for a Sick Kick, but Collyer ducked! Collyer tried the Everest German, but Strong pulled him forward into the turnbuckle! Collyer stumbled back into the DEATH BY RODERICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - DANIELSON BROKE IT UP! Strong kicked him in the back of the head and tried a Death By Roderick on him, but Danielson fought away with Crucifix Elbows! BRIDGING TIGER SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THRE - STRONG KICKED OUT! Danielson pulled him up for the Eagle-Plex, but Strong floated over. He charged with the Sick Kick, but Danielson ducked AND IT HIT COLLYER! Collyer fell to the outside, and DANIELSON HIT STRONG WITH THE EAGLE-PLEX! He climbed up top! FLYING HEADBUTT! ONE … TWO … THREE!!!
Winner via pinfall and NEW TNA TELEVISION CHAMPION: BRYAN DANIELSON (14:05)

Yippee! The ref brought in the TV Title to Danielson, who strapped it around his waist. Strong came to and shook Danielson’s hand. Collyer rolled in, and eventually they all shook hands. Collyer and Strong left together, leaving Danielson to celebrate on his own in the ring.

Samoa Joe punched a brick in the back to break it. He turned to the camera and said he’s done playing… Joe’s gonna kill you.

Backstage, Sean Hernandez said that happy endings are for fools. He said that America loves their stupid fairy tales, but life ain’t no fairy tale. Life’s a bitch, and it’s about time that Kurt Angle learns this lesson. He said that Angle has had a really great career, but there’s no better time to learn the hard truth than in his very last match, when Super Mex sends him out looking like the chump that he is.

This one got a hype video.
- James Storm returns from injury at Slammiversary to answer Jarrett’s open challenge, and beats him easily
- Jarrett refuses to fight Storm, but sends after him Eric Young. Storm beats him.
- Jarrett brings in two big men, Gunner and Murphy (the Tennessee Titans), but they can’t stop Storm.
- Chris Harris returns, only to turn on Storm and reveal himself to be aligned with Jarrett now.
- Storm beats Harris twice, including a brutal Texas Death Match.
- Jarrett beats up Jackie Moore for old times’ sake.
- Jarrett finds that he’s worn Storm down enough, and he lays him out with a guitar shot, and the rematch is finally made.

Match 3: Jeff Jarrett vs James Storm
Jarrett stalled a ton, but when he started strutting, Storm charged in with a big clothesline! Storm bumped him around just like he did at Slammiversary, but this time Jarrett dodged the Harley Race Knee and kicked out the other leg! He worked over the leg some, but it only served to slow down pockets of Storm offense, and he could never control the Tennessee Cowboy. Jarrett kicked at his knee some and got off some of his own punches, but when he came off the ropes, Storm kicked away his legs and JARRETT DID THE HAMRICK BUMP! STORM PLANCHA~! Storm beat Jarrett around the floor, but Jarrett countered a suplex into a legsweep, and then drove his knee into the ring post! Jarrett rolled him in, and finally controlled now by going after the leg. He slowly came into top form, pulling out all of his usual offense in controlling the leg (stomps, stretching out, Figure Four) and being a dick (leapfrog guillotine, sleeper hold, strutting). Jarrett pulled out a Running Bulldog, but when he tried the Stroke, Storm shoved him away! He went for the Eye of the Storm, but his leg gave out and Jarrett got down. He almost fell into the ref, and the ref’s flinch let Jarrett sneak in a LOW BLOW! HE HIT THE STROKE! ONE … TWO … THRE - STORM KICKED OUT! Jarrett pulled him up for another one, but Storm threw him off and to the outside. Jarrett went to get his guitar, but Storm slid out to stop him. He threw him back in, but Jarrett took him down with a dropkick to the knees! He set him up in the corner and tried a Super Stroke, but Storm pushed him down! FLYING BULLDOG! ONE … TWO … THRE - Jarrett got an arm up! Storm unloaded with big punches and tried the Eye of the Storm, but Jarrett grabbed the ropes and got down on the apron. Storm swung, but Jarrett ducked and kicked out his knee, then hung him up on the top rope. Jarrett went over to untie the top turnbuckle, but the ref stopped him. As the ref fixed the turnbuckle cover, Jarrett got down and grabbed his guitar. With the ref’s back turned, Jarrett got in the rung AND SWUNG FOR STORM! BUT STORM DUCKED! He kicked Jarrett in the gut! EYE OF THE STORM! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: James Storm (10:56)

Storm held at his leg, but managed to get up to celebrate. Jarrett struggled to his feet, SO STORM BASHED HIM IN THE SKULL WITH THE GUITAR!!! Wheee! Storm celebrated to the back.

Raven caught up with Bryan Danielson in the back, who said it was a big deal to win his first ever title here in TNA tonight. He talked about even losing the chance at a contract this time last year, but he fought back up to win tonight. He also promised to be the best TV champ evarrrr.

Team Canada (minus Roode) talked in the back, and Christian told them that he could do this on his own, easy.

Raven had Bailout backstage now, including JBL! Bradshaw did the talking, and he talked about how crazy Negroes are a drain on society, and his high-class tag team would come through and destroy the proletariats of wrestling. Raven asked for JBL’s thoughts on not being able to be at ringside, and JBL just laughed and said that money talks.

Hype video. Not so much going over the details of the feud, but just showing all three guys murder real human beings.

Match 4: Samoa Joe vs Low Ki vs Homicide [No Disqualification]
Homicide charged right at Joe, and Joe KILLED him with a stiff elbow. Low Ki did the same, but he ducked Joe’s elbow and lit him up with chops! Joe came right back with punches, and this immediately became a slugfest. Homicide joined in too, and this was just completely violent punches, forearms, kicks, chops, and headbutts. I wish this was 2005, but meh. Homicide introduced the slapjack, but Low Ki kicked out of his hand! They struggled for control of it, but Joe leveled them both with a FLYING REVERSE CROSSBODY! Joe got the slapjack, and just murdered both guys with it, even busting open Low Ki early! He tried to put Ki in the Choke, but Cide quickly broke it up with a stiff kick to the back of the head! He tried a Tiger Suplex, but Joe threw him away and tackled him out of the ring! ELBOW SUICIDA! There was a big brawl around the floor now, and when Low Ki got involved, it even spilled out into the crowd area! Joe hit Low Ki with a Powerbomb through the announce table to take him out momentarily. OH MY GOD~! Cide came up behind Joe and smacked him with the slapjack, BUT JOE NO-SOLD! He grabbed Homicide by the skull AND STARTED REPEATEDLY HEADBUTTING HIM IN THE SKULL, BUSTING BOTH GUYS OPEN! FUCK YEAH! They both got wobbly, but then Joe grabbed the slapstick! Homicide noticed it and tried the run, but Joe chased after him! Joe chased him up a tall platform, ala Taker/HHH Wrestlemania 17! It’s been ten years, I can do this. They fought, and Homicide started slapping the shit out of Joe, but Joe came back with crazy elbows! He tried to push Homicide off, but Cide gouged his eyes! Cide tried to pull him down, but Joe headbutted him in the back of the skull. Homicide faltered, and JOE WENT TO POWERBOMB HOMICIDE OFF! BUT NO! NO, WAIT! HOMICIDE BODY DROPPED JOE OFF THE PLATFORM, AND HE FELL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO FLOOR! FUUUUUUCK. Homicide looked in disbelief, and the ref and everybody sold it for a while. Homicide started to climb down as some medical people came to look at Joe. They finally got him on a stretcher, BUT JOE TRIED TO GET THEM TO LET HIM GO! But Homicide ran over and shoved Joe off the stretched! Joe couldn’t really moved at all, and so officials finally stretchered him away. :( Homicide looked very happy, BUT THEN TURNED INTO A ROUNDHOUSE FROM LOW KI! They had a violent back-and-forth, with the slapstick, a chair, and a SINGAPORE CANE. Low Ki worked over the back of Homicide’s skull, and Cide focused on ripping open Low Ki’s cut. Plenty more violence. Homicide tried to beat Low Ki down with a slapstick, and every time Low Ki kicked out, Homicide beat him with it again, but Ki kept kicking out again and again! Homicide pulled him up and slapped him in the face, then tried the Gringo Killer, but Low Ki shoved him away! HIGH-SPEED ROUNDHOUSE! He quickly locked in the DRAGON CLUTCH! Homicide punched at Low Ki’s forehead to break free, and then hit a FLASH 187! ONE … TWO … THRE - LOW KI KICKED OUT OF A FINISHER! Homicide pulled him up for the Gringo Killer again, but Low Ki elbowed him away! Shining Wiz - NO! BLACK MAGIC~!~! Low Ki slowly climbed up for the GHETTO STOMP, but HOMICIDE MOVED! WEST BROOKLYN LARIAT! ONE … TWO … THRE - LOW KI KICKED OUT!!! Homicide threw a fit, but then went out to get a steel chair. He lined up to hit Low Ki, but Ki ducked AND KICKED THE CHAIR INTO HOMICIDE’S FACE! Low Ki quickly pulled Homicide up for the KI KRUSHER! But Ki held on and pulled him up for another KI KRUSHER ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! ONE … TWO … THREE!!!
Winner via pinfall: Low Ki (21:54)

Low Ki laid face-up on the mat for a second, but then made it to his feet. He wiped some blood from his face, but then smeared it on his chest and limped to the back.

Raven talked to the 2 Crazy Negroes backstage, and Lethal said that they as a team have come a long way, and re-winning the tag belts tonight is a huge deal. They also dedicated their title match tonight to Booker T.

Commentary hyped the live Impact this Thursday.

JBL came down to ringside with his team, all while commentary talked about Dixie’s ban on people at ringside tonight. Hebner tried to stop him, but JBL pulled out a wad of hundreds! Hebner looked to be about to take it, but Rudy Charles came down to stop it. He sent JBL and Hebner to the back, and started the match!

Match 5: Bailout[c] vs 2 Crazy Negroes [TNA Tag Team Championship]
They jumped right into the action, coming out of the hardcore three-way. Lethal and Burke started off on their own, but Lethal had a big advantage after all that practice from going one-on-one with Sabin so often! I don’t feel like writing all the moves, but rest assured that Creed delivered most stuff weakly and Davey no-sold them anyway. As such, Creed was isolated and Davey mostly just gave offense, and mostly stiff stuff. Creed fought back after dodging the Elijah Express, and hit the Somersault Clothesline! HOT TAG TO LETHAL! He came right in with a Springboard Dropkick to Burke, and followed up with big punches and dropkicks for both guys! Davey tried to cut him off with a Yakuza Kick, but Lethal lowbridged him to the floor, and Creed followed up with a SOMERSAULT SENTON FROM THE APRON! Burke tried a DDT in the ring, but Lethal blocked and HE HIT THE AXE KICK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Burke got a foot on the rope! Lethal went up top for the Lethal Elbow, but Burke moved! Lethal staggered into the corner, where Burke hit the ELIJAH EXPRESS! ONE … TWO … THRE - Creed dove to save! They went for the Suplex/Crossbody Combination, but Davey shoved Creed to the outside! Lethal tried to fight off Burke, but Davey got in too! CAPITAL GAINS! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! LETHAL KICKED OUT! They pulled him up for the Bankruptcy, but CREED SPEARED DAVEY AWAY! Lethal took Burke down with a headscissors! Creed tagged in and hit Davey with a FLYING SPLASH! ONE … TWO … THRE - Burke broke it up! Lethal grabbed Burke for the LETHAL INJECTIO - No! Burke elbowed away! Lethal charged, but Burke threw him to the outside, WHERE DAVEY NAILED HIM WITH THE PIMP CANE! Burke tried the Bankrupt Bomb on Creed in the ring, but Creed shoved him off! He tried to get him up for the Fireman’s Carry Cutter, but Burke threw him off into a YAKUZA KICK FROM DAVEY! Creed flew back right into the BANKRUPT BOMB! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall and still TNA Tag Team Champions: Bailout (10:59)

Davey slid back in with the titles, and he and Burke celebrated. JBL came out and was ecstatic, and the three of them returned to the back. Lethal rolled in to help Creed up, and the two sad Negroes went to the back.

Commentary reported that Samoa Joe had been taken to a nearby hospital, and he may have suffered a very serious neck injury, for which there will be an update probably on Impact.

Alex Shelley was taping up his wrists in the back, his X-Division Championship laying in his lap.

Kurt Angle was meditating in the back. He finally stood up, took the gold medals off his neck, kissed them, and laid them neatly on his warm-up sweats.

Hype video:
- Monty Brown breaks away from Team Canada and tears it up in the singles scene
- Team Canada continuously prevents him from winning the world title.
- Monty takes out everybody in Team Canada, but then Christian outsmarts him.
- He pretends to have a leg injury, but reveals that it is fake, and Team Canada keeps beating him down.
- REVENGE TIME~!

Match 6: Christian Cage vs Monty Brown
This is what one would expect. Monty used his power to his advantage, but Christian really pulled out all the stops with speed and cunning. Cage acted very cowardly while on the defense, constantly rolling to the outside and begging off, but when on offense, he was super nasty and brutal. Lots of forearms to the face, back raking, mouth pulling, and boots to the eye. When Monty really stepped up by flying around (to an extent), Christian went to the leg. Monty shook him off pretty easily, and threw him to the outside with a military press! He beat Christian around the floor, and then threw his legs against the ring post like he did on Impact to put Christian in a fake wheelchair! Christian held at his leg while Monty threw him into the ring. He pulled him up for the Alpha Bomb, but CHRISTIAN COUNTERED INTO A FALLING DDT! He pulled himself up and tried the SPEAR, but Monty JUMPED over! He tried his Jumping Shoulderblock, but Christian moved and came off the ropes for the SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR! ONE … TWO … THRE - Monty kicked out! Christian climbed up top, but Monty threw him down! He climbed up top himself and came off with the FLYING SHOULDERBLOCK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Christian got an arm up! Monty yanked him up and tried the POUNCE~, but Christian jumped up onto the corner and came off with the Flying European Uppercut! He quickly climbed to the other corner and hit the FROG SPLASH! ONE … TWO … THRE - Monty kicked out! Christian stayed there and couldn’t believe it, AND MONTY GRABBED ONTO HIM FROM LATERAL PRESS POSITION! He stood right up to a vertical position, AND HIT THE ALPHA BOMB! Monty yanked him up for the POUNCE~, BUT CHRISTIAN MOVED AND MONTY HIT THE REF! Oh shit. Tomko and Dux rushed down and took Monty down! They beat at him, and Christian pulled him up for the UNPRETTIER! He shook the ref to life and covered! ONE …… TWO …… THRE - MONTY KICKED OUT! Christian threw a fit, but the ref saw the Tysons at ringside! But before he could do anything, Eric Young snuck down and attacked the ref from behind! All four members of Team Canada stomped at Monty, and Young hit the SPIKE PILEDRIVER! Christian pulled him up for the Unprettier, but Monty threw him off! ALPHA LARIAT TO DUX! ALPHA LARIAT TO YOUNG! ALPHA BOMB TO TOMKO! Christian looked scared shitless at Monty having destroyed his stable, and he tried to bail, BUT MONTY GRABBED HIM! He threw him against the ropes! POUNCE~~~~~~~~! PERIOD! The ref crawled over for the count! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Monty Brown (13:07)

Monty Brown celebrated at having FINALLY beaten all of Team Canada, and getting his revenge on Christian Cage.

Kevin Nash talked up Alex Shelley in the back, and told him to do this for the X-Division, for Xplosion, for Nash, but above all, do this for Alex Shelley. Shelley looked at him and said that doing this for himself was NOT most important. Doing this for the X-Division Championship was.

Commentary talked about how Kurt Angle said that this would be his final match in TNA, win or lose. Then his “career retrospective” video played, laid over with some Hernandez feud stuff. It showed Hernandez returning from suspension to attack Angle, and constantly Spearing him since that.

Match 7: Kurt Angle vs Sean Hernandez [Retirement Match]
Hernandez charged right in, but Angle slapped him to the mat! In kind of a shocker, he kept totally neutralizing Hernandez’s power by outsmarting him in a ground game. Hernandez finally got suckered into trying to keep up on the mat, but Angle did some fancy stuff and exploded out with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Hernandez rolled out to the floor and was irate as Angle posed and pumped up the crowd from in the ring. Buuuut, his luck didn’t last so long. Hernandez eventually took over and just absolutely manhandled Angle around the ring. At first Angle showed some good fire by going back to the brawling that he had some success with the last few months, but even then Hernandez took the blows and then just flattened him. After getting really cocky in his offense, Angle got in a few punches, but when he tried the Flying Forearm, Hernandez swatted him away. He lined up for the Spear, but Angle jumped over and Hernandez hit the turnbuckle! GERMAN SUPLEX! A SECOND GERMAN! He pulled Hernandez up for a third, but he blocked it and threw him to the outside. Hernandez followed up, but Angle charged and drove him into the apron! DDT ON THE FLOOR! Angle climbed up to the top turnbuckle for the Flying Flipping Senton, BUT NOBODY WAS HOME FUCK! Hernandez rolled Angle in for the cover, ONE … TWO … THRE - Angle got an arm up! Hernandez went right to work on Angle’s upper back and neck, obviously. He tried to end it with the Crackerjack, but Angle fought away! After a few wild punches, he came off for a running crossbody, but Hernandez caught him! Powersla - NO! ANGLE COUNTERED INTO A DDT! ONE - Hernandez kicked out, with authority~! Angle desperately grabbed his ankle, but Hernandez fought him off. He tried a big clothesline, but Angle ducked and hit a BELLY TO BELLY THAT SENT HERNANDEZ TO THE FLOOR! Angle pulled himself to the top rope, and came off to the outside with his FLYING FLIPPING SENTON! He quickly rolled Hernandez in! ONE … T - No! Hernandez kicked out! Angle hit a Side Belly to Belly! ONE … TW - Hernandez kicked out! Angle climbed up top! FLYING CLOTHESLINE! ONE … TWO … TH - Hernandez kicked out! Angle couldn’t believe it, but he pulled down the straps! He tried the Olympic Slam, but Hernandez got out! He ran off for the Spear, but Angle dodged him, AND HE GOT OFF THE TRIPLE GERMANS! ONE … TWO … TH - Hernandez got an arm up! Angle called for the end again, but Hernandez again moved away from the Olympic Slam AND HIT THE CRACKER JACK! ONE … TWO … THRE - Angle just shot his arm up! Hernandez was pissed, and jumped on him with big elbows to the back of the head. He went for the Border Toss, but Angle slid down, AND GOT IN THE ANKLE LOCK! Hernandez struggled, but finally powered up and kicked him off! Angle hopped up, but turned right into the SPEAR! ONE … TWO … THRE - ANGLE GOT A FOOT ON THE ROPES! Hernandez was irate, but he lined up in the corner. He shouted that Angle’s career was over, and as Angle slowly stood up, Hernandez charged for another Spear, BUT ANGLE JUMPED OVER HIM! OLYMPIC SLAM! ONE … TWO … THRE - HERNANDEZ KICKED OUT! Angle was stunned, and somewhat woozy. He climbed up top, but Hernandez met him there. They traded blows, and Angle went to the eyes and kicked him down! Hernandez staggered to his feet, and Angle came off with a MISSILE DROPKICK! He pulled himself back up top! OLYMPIC MOONSAULT! HE FINALLY HIT IT! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! HERNANDEZ JUST GOT AN ARM UP! Angle was stunned. He tried to put in the Ankle Lock, but Hernandez kicked him off and laid him out with a HUGE lariat! He called for an even bigger lariat, and he climbed up top! BUT ANGLE NO-SOLD EVERYTHING BECAUSE HE’S BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS AND IT’S HIS THING! LET HIM HAVE IT THIS TIME JUST THIS ONCE IN HIS FINAL MATCH! HE RUSHED UP TO THE TOP FOR THE SUPER OLYMPIC SLAM! BUT NO! Hernandez shoved him off, and he fell right on the back of his head! Hernandez came down himself, and as Angle struggled with everything he had to get to his feet, HERNANDEZ CAME OFF THE ROPES AND SPEARED THE FUCK OUT OF HIM! He yanked Angle up! NOT THIS WAY~! He hit the BORDER TOSS! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Sean Hernandez (14:58)

Hernandez got up and somewhat limped to the back looking like he was on top of the world. Angle slowly came to, and got a standing ovation. Angle looked super disappointed, and he waited around in the ring for a bit. He undid his straps one more time, and bowed for the crowd. He high-fived with all the fans on the way up as “THANK YOU ANGLE!” filled the arena.

Booker T was in his office, and the 2 Crazy Negroes came in, looking quite sad. Lethal apologized for failing to win the belts after dedicating the match to him. Booker said that he couldn’t have picked two better young talents to continue in his foot steps, and they have nothing to be ashamed of. They did their black handshake, and then did some break dancing in the GM’s office.

Footage of some pre-BFG events played. HEY COME TO OUR PPVs.

Backstage, Robert Roode cut a quick promo before his match. He said that so far tonight, Storm has beaten Jarrett, Monty had beaten Christian, and Hernandez has beaten Angle. That means, of the four “new vs old” matches, his is the last one to go, and everything is on the line. If he wins, then the new school wipes the board. If he loses, then he’s the only one of them to drop the ball for himself and for his entire generation here in TNA. He said that Sting represents a lot of good, but he also represents overstaying your welcome, and that is what Robert Roode ends tonight.

A hype video played of Roode’s rise to prominence in 2011 as a result of beating Kurt Angle several times in one-on-one matches. But then Sting returned at Slammiversary to help Angle win a tag match, and it made Roode snap. They touched some on the build-up to this match, including Roode’s call-out, and him beating up Sting’s friends from the past.

Match 8: Sting vs Robert Roode
Lots of atmosphere-building here, i.e. Sting shoving Roode off, stare-downs, and Sting does his tribal scream after simple arm drags. Anyway, after Sting used his presence to keep Roode on the defensive, his ring rust started to set in. Roode started countering all of Sting’s headlocks, armbars, strikes, etc. He never got cocky though, and constantly stayed aggressive on the Stinger. Roode seemed to get more and more vicious as he went along, eventually even trying to scrape Sting’s facepaint off! He pulled him up and smacked him around some, but STING PICKED ROODE RIGHT UP FOR A MILITARY PRESS, AND HE THREW HIM DOWN! Sting finally got a second to breathe, but Roode was right back up. He charged again, BUT STING PICKED HIM UP FOR ANOTHER MILITARY PRESS, AND HE CHUCKED HIM TO THE FLOOR! He gave a tribal scream, and when Roode got up on the floor, STING CAME OUT WITH A PLANCHA! He rolled Roode back into the ring and quickly tried to end it with the Scorpion Death Drop, but Roode threw him into the ropes and hit the DOUBLE R SPINEBUSTER! ONE … TWO … THR - Sting got a foot on the rope! Roode worked to wear him down more, while Sting just tried to end it as fast as he could. He grabbed inside cradles, roll-ups, and whipped out the running bulldog, Stinger Splash, and Old Man Dropkick! He could never really mount an offense though, and just had to catch breaks when he could. Basically, this was mostly all Roode’s match. Sting caught a lucky break when he dodged a Diving Blockbuster, and Roode crashed to the floor! Sting quickly climbed up top, AND HE HIT HIS FUCKING DIVING DDT! ONE … TWO … THRE - Roode kicked out! Sting quickly tried the Scorpion Death Drop, but Roode elbowed him away! He tried the Payoff, but Sting pulled his legs out AND PUT IN THE SCORPION DEATH LOCK! Roode struggled, but made it to the ropes! Sting tried to pull him back out to the middle of the ring, but Roode kicked him off and hit a GERMAN SUPLEX! ONE … TWO … THRE - Sting got an arm up! Roode tried the Roode Awakening, but Sting kicked him away AND HIT THE SCORPION DEATH DROP! ONE … TWO … THRE - ROODE KICKED OUT! Sting couldn’t believe it! He pulled Roode up for another one, but Roode threw him off! DOUBLE R SPINEB - NO! Sting countered midair into a DDT! Sting tried the Death Drop again, but Roode fought him into the ropes! He grabbed him for the Payoff, but Sting held onto the ropes to block it, and Roode bumped by himself down onto the mat! He quickly shot up, BUT STING HIT ANOTHER SCORPION DEATH DROP! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Sting (12:08)

With most of his facepaint worn off, Sting was in full-blown old man mode now, but he pulled himself up. He celebrated in the ring, and Roode slowly made it to his feet. Sting turned around, and Roode was right there waiting! Sting waited a second, and then offered his hand to Roode. Roode thought about it, and shook it! Sting held up Roode’s arm, the lights went off, AND STING WAS GONE!

A camera caught Kurt Angle leaving the arena, looking pretty sad. Raven ran up and asked for a word. Angle took the time to stop, and he said that he loves TNA, and he hopes that it continues to be the best company in the world after he’s gone. TNA is real, damn real.

A bunch of clips from pre-taped interviews with Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, and Christopher Daniels talking about the pressure and importance of main eventing Bound for Glory.

DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER! Alex Shelley, Angelina Love, and Rhino came out to the stage. Rhino patted Shelley on the back, Love gave him a big kiss, and then Shelley continued down to the ring on his own with just one acquaintance: the X-Division Championship.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2nfWKgwR98

AJ Styles came out and did his usual shtick, wearing the TNA Championship tightly around his waist. Both guys took their time undoing their championships and handing them to the ref. Jeremy Borash did formal introductions. The Hammerstein Ballroom was super split here.

Match 9: AJ Styles[c] vs Alex Shelley[c] [TNA World Championship & X-Division Championship - Title Defense #21]
It is time. Shelley looked insanely focused, not even looking AJ in the face, but staring directly at his limbs to see which way he was going to move. Styles kept trying to lunge for control, but Shelley blocked it all. Shelley refused to make the first move. Finally AJ powered Shelley to the corner, but when they got there, there was a clean break. Shelley still wouldn’t make the first move. Styles took a chance and just started charging into Shelley and taking him to the mat and stuff. For a while, Shelley had a big problem keeping up, like he was thinking too hard about everything. He kept getting frustrated and trying to restart, but AJ was right on him every time. When Styles started to get patronizing with slaps to the back of the head, Shelley shot back and took him to the mat! From there they had a really intense mat struggle, and Shelley finally seemed to come into his technical groove. Styles, irate at being kept up with on the mat here, started targeting the neck with big clubs and forearms. Shelley shot right back with chops and punches, and soon there was a slight brawl around the ring! Styles used his size to get an advantage, but Shelley ducked the Discus Clothesline and came off the ropes with a running hurricanrana! In a move that Shelley really hasn’t done in a couple years, he actually used his speed to his big advantage and threw Styles off with some dropkicks and even a Kip-Up Rana! Styles couldn’t really keep Shelley still, so he tried throwing bombs when he got a shot. He went for his Brainbuster three separate times, but each time Shelley blocked it, and the third time he countered with a Northern Lights Suplex! ONE … TWO … T - Styles kicked out! His eyes lit up as he tried for a Superkick, but Styles ducked and dumped him to the apron. Shelley pulled him out though and they had a quick exchange there that concluded with STYLES HITTING A SICK BRAINBUSTER ON THE APRON! Styles quickly pulled Shelley into the ring and covered! ONE … TWO … THR - Shelley kicked out, but was clearly shaken. Styles went right after his neck with some neckbreakers and stiff kicks, but Shelley ducked a roundhouse from behind and HIT A REVERSE HURRICANRANA! He couldn’t follow up at all because of his neck though. Both guys struggled up, and Shelley tackled Styles out of the ring, making them both spill to the floor! Shelley held at his neck as he got up, but he went for a Shellshock on the floor! Styles threw him off though, and hit the DISCUS CLOTHESLINE! He climbed back onto the apron and looked for a MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE, but Shelley moved… and AJ landed on his feet! Shelley tried a flash Superkick, but Styles ducked and hit a Swinging Neckbreaker on the floor! He rushed back in the ring and came off the ropes for the FOSBURY FLOP, but SHELLEY MOVED AND STYLES SMACKED FLAT ON THE FLOOR! He screamed as he held at his ribs, and Shelley immediately pounced by kicking at them! He charged him over and over into the barricade, and then rolled him back into the ring to work over his midsection. Styles tried to fight back with some flurries of strikes, but Shelley finally ducked a big right hand and SLAPPED AJ IN THE FACE! Styles was fucking livid, and he exploded with elbows! He pulled him up for the Rack Bomb, but Shelley countered into the GORY SPECIAL! Styles yelled out as his ribs were stretched out, but he refused to submit. He started to try to get his arm free, but Shelley immediately shut him down with the GODDAMN GORY BOMB! ONE … TWO … THR - Styles kicked out! Shelley quickly tried to put in a Camel Clutch, but Styles rolled through and got a roll-up! ONE … TWO … TH - Shelley got out! He shoved Styles ribs-first into the corner and tried a Lungblower, but Styles grabbed the turnbuckle to stop from falling with Shelley! He quickly turned around and grabbed Shelley’s vulnerable leg AND STYLES PUT IN THE FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Shelley had the ropes next to him, but he refused to use them to get the break! Instead he leaned forward and just started punching AJ in the face! Styles returned the blows, and they had a strike-tradeoff while Shelley was still in the Figure Four! Styles started chopping Shelley in the chest, so Shelley responded by CHOPPING STYLES IN THE FACE! Styles let go of the hold, and Shelley hit a quick Basement DDT! ONE … TWO … THR - Styles kicked out! Shelley tried to get up, but he had to shake his leg back to life some. He kept targeting Styles’ ribs to take the breath out of him, patient enough not to need a three-count right away. Styles always went to the leg to slow Shelley down, but when he got in control, he always went right for Shelley’s neck to get the nearfalls. Styles got a big break when he ducked a Superkick, and Shelley connected with the turnbuckle! Styles pounced on his leg, and at this point completely switched his game plan to focus on wearing down the knee. It started off with some tight leg bars and leg-yanking, but when Shelley refused to stay down, Styles started driving his elbow into the knee cap, and even leveraging the knee around the ropes and ring post! Still, Shelley kept coming back with big blows, shocking both commentary and apparently AJ with his resiliency. Styles tried to put in the Figure Four again, but Shelley kicked him away! Styles bounced off the ropes, AND SHELLEY HIT A FLASH SUPERKICK! He collapsed under his leg though and he couldn’t get the pin! By the time he crawled over, Styles had rolled to his stomach and was getting up. He reeled some, but pulled Shelley up, BUT SHELLEY HIT ANOTHER FLASH SUPERKICK! AND HE FELL ONTO AJ HOLY SHIT! ONE … TWO … THRE - STYLES JUST GOT AN ARM UP! Shelley was stunned, but he pulled himself together and climbed up top. But Styles was up and he crotched him! They fought at the top, and Styles tried the Super Brainbuster, but Shelley held his weight. Styles instead went for the Super Frankensteiner, but Shelley held on again! And this time Styles was in position for a SUPER STYLES CLASH! Shelley set up for it, but Styles pulled himself down using the bottom turnbuckle to help him! He rolled to his feet, and Shelley came off for a Flying Crossbody, but Styles ducked! Shelley staggered to his feet, and Styles hit the PHENOMENAL DDT! ONE … TWO … TH - Shelley kicked out! Styles quickly pulled him up for the Styles Clash, but Shelley charged him into the corner! He set him up top, but Styles kicked him away. He stood up on the corner, but Shelley limped over and crotched him this time! He climbed up for his own Super Frankensteiner, but Styles held his weight! HE WAS IN POSITION! But no! Shelley tried to use the same counter that Styles did earlier, but this time Styles held on to Shelley’s bad leg! Styles had Shelley hanging upside down, and he locked in a modified Half Boston Crab! The ref made him let go on the five-count, and when Shelley flopped to the mat, Styles quickly came off with a FROG SPLASH! ONE … TWO … THRE - SHELLEY KICKED OUT! Styles started kicking at his bad leg and he tried to lock in the Figure Four, but SHELLY GOT AN INSIDE CRADLE! ONE … TWO … THRE - Styles got out and immediately put on the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Shelley writhed around in pain, but he started throwing punches again! This time Styles came back with HUGE forearms, knocking Shelley back down to the mat every time. Shelley had no choice but to try to fight his way to the ropes! After a bunch of false finishes, he FINALLY got to the bottom rope! Styles quickly yanked him up for the Styles Clash, but Shelley body dropped away! He collapsed under his leg though, and by the time he got up, Styles was there too. Shelley tried the Shellshock anyway, but Styles hit at his leg to break free! He flipped back for the Pele Kick, but Shelley scouted it and moved! Styles stumbled up and SHELLEY HIT THE SHELLSHOCK! He had to crawl over with his bad leg for the cover, ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! STYLES GOT AN ARM UP! Shelley couldn’t believe it! He threw a fit, and Cornette mentioned how Shelley isn’t really used to huge big-time main events where everything is on the line, and he doesn’t know if he’s seen anybody kick out of the Shellshock, so Shelley wouldn’t know how to react. All he thought to do was go for another one, but Styles threw him off and went to kick at his leg, but Shelley jumped over his kick! He landed on his bad knee though, and it let Styles hit a DISCUS CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! SHELLEY JUST GOT AN ARM UP! Styles pulled himself up top for the SPIRAL TA - NO! SHELLEY MOVED! Styles’ ribs crashed onto the mat, but he staggered up RIGHT INTO THE SHELLSHO - NO! STYLES SPUN THROUGH! STYLES CLASHHH! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! SHELLEY KICKED OUT! HE GOT AN ARM UP! IT’S NOT OVER! Styles couldn’t believe it! He quickly yanked Shelley up for a Brainbuster, but Shelley floated over! O'CONNOR ROLL! ONE … TWO … THRE - STYLES KICKED OUT! He tried a Discus Clothesline, but Shelley ducked! SHELLSHOCK! SHELLSHOCK! HE HIT THE SHELLSHOCK AND COVERED RIGHT AWAY! ONE … TWO … THREEEEEE!!!
WINNER VIA PINFALL AND BOTH TNA WORLD CHAMPION AND X-DIVISION CHAMPION: ALEX SHELLEY (32:09)

SHELLEY COULDN’T BELIEVE IT! NOBODY COULD BELIEVE IT! STREAMERS AND SHIT FELL! FUCK YEAH PRODUCTION VALUES! Shelley put his face in his hands, and when he brought them down we could see his eyes puffing up with some tears. He quickly wiped them off as his body started to tense and he realized that he had won. He pulled himself together and fought to his feet, refusing the help of the referee. When he finally got up, the ref came over and handed him BOTH the X-Division Champions and the TNA World Championship. He immediately held the X-Division Championship in the air and shouted that he was right all along. He looked long and hard at the TNA Championship, and looked really conflicted. Before he could do anything though, AJ Styles was up! They shared a long stare, and finally AJ nodded to him, and held Shelley’s arm and the TNA Championship in the air! He told Shelley up close that he deserved this, and he patted him on the back before leaving Shelley on his own. Shelley held both titles in the air and celebrated in the ring as the show closed.

October 20, 2011

AJ Styles came out to start the show. He admitted that Shelley beat him fair and square, and said that maybe he wasn’t as ready as he thought he was. He said that Shelley proved he was a top tier competitor, but if Shelley really thinks that he became the best in the game on Sunday, then he’d be okay with a rematch! He said that he was putting his full attention on the TNA Championship, where it should be, and he was taking it back.

That drew out Xplosion GM Kevin Nash, who spent some time putting over Alex Shelley. He said that now Shelley belongs in a class above the rest -- a class that only guys like Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Stone Cold belong to. Styles laughed at the notion that Shelley was that big of a star, or Kevin Nash for that matter. He said that Alex Shelley is the TNA Champion, against all odds, but he’s still not the face of TNA. That is AJ Styles’ until he decides to give up that title. Nash said that AJ may care about the TNA Championship, but Shelley may not. Styles asked if the rumors were true that Alex was going to vacate the title tonight, and Nash said that he’d have to wait to see for himself. He said that Shelley had reserved time for the end of the show, and he warned AJ Styles not to interrupt it under threat of fine, or even suspension. Styles looked pissed, but Nash said that AJ should definitely watch from the back, because NOBODY was going to want to miss this.

Match 1: Prince Devitt vs Christopher Daniels w/ The Enlightened
Daniels was super confident after getting a big win on Sunday, and it cost him some. Devitt used his high-flying to throw him off, but when he tried to springboard into the ring, Daniels countered right into the BLUE THUNDER DRIVER! ONE … TWO … THR - Devitt kicked out, but Daniels had him down going into the break.

--Commercial Break--

Pretty basic now. Daniels worked to ground Devitt, going after the neck that had put Devitt out for a few weeks. Devitt used his flashy offense, mixed with Jap-o-neez kicks. Daniels pulled out the Turnbuckle Exploder, but Devitt moved away from the Best Moonsault Ever! He tried a Bloody Sunday, but Daniels rolled through and elbowed his neck, then got off the LAST RITES! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Christopher Daniels (9:54)

The Enlightened rolled in to celebrate with Daniels.

--Commercial Break--

A post-BFG Alex Shelley interview played, where he was visibly very emotional, celebrating with both belts, and trying to string together words about how this was the greatest night in his life, and how everything led to this. Commentary speculated as to whether or not Shelley could really bring himself to vacate the championship, or if he would indeed serve as a double champion.

Shots of Joe’s crazy bump at Bound For Glory played, and Mike Tenay revealed that he sustained a very serious neck injury, and would be out for some time.

Homicide was backstage, and he said that Low Ki got lucky on Sunday. The real winner was him, because he killed the Samoan “Monster.”

Commentary advertised Low Ki vs Homicide for Xplosion.

--Commercial Break--

Match 2: The Hooliganz vs Tennessee Titans w/ Chris Harris
This time Kendrick did the bulk of the fast offense, but he was more careful not to get caught up in double-teaming. London briefly got caught in the heel corner, and when the ref missed his tag to Kendrick, he looked to be in some trouble. Kendrick came in anyway, and the distraction let the Titans hit a Double Chokeslam! BUT DANIELS RAN DOWN! Last Rites to Murphy! Gunner tried to grab him, but Daniels low-bridged him to the floor! London got up and saw Murphy down, and climbed up for the SHOOTING STAR PRESS! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: The Hooliganz (4:24)

London got up and celebrated, and Kendrick joined him, but told him what happened. Daniels smiled from the stage as London looked conflicted~.

--Commercial Break--

Commentary talked some about Shelley reserving time at the end of the show, and they wondered if he was really going to vacate the TNA Championship, or if he would keep it.

Post-show footage from Sunday played of Robert Roode getting his stuff together backstage to leave. Raven wanted a word, but Roode shoved him on his ass and walked off.

Fit Finlay came out for his match with Chris Hero, but Hero never came out. Instead, he showed up on the tron! Hero said that he promised Finlay had been practicing his European mat work, but why show it off when he can just bring in the source? Finlay asked what was going on, and Hero told him that if he wants European, he’ll get European, AND SOME BIG SWISS GUY RUSHED THE RING FROM THE CROWD AND DROPPED FINALY FROM BEHIND WITH A BIG LARIAT! He pulled him up and hit a STRAIGHTJACKET POWERBOMB, then went to the back!

--Commercial Break--

Backstage, Chris Hero introduced his friend as Claudio Castagnoli, who said that he’s very European.

Match 3: Bryan Danielson vs Eric Young w/ T.Y.S.O.N. [Non-Title]
Basic stuff. Young was dominated on the mat, but he got in some shots to the back, given all the backbreakers Danielson took on Sunday. Danielson pulled out his strikes to push him back, but when a roundhouse hit the turnbuckle instead, Young actually got him into the Sharpshooter! The TV champ got the rope break, but at that point Young had some solid control. He tried to put in another Sharpshooter, but this time Danielson struggled with his legs, and pulled EY right down into a GUILLOTINE CHOKE! Young fought to his feet, but Danielson transitioned right into the LEBELL LOCK! Young was too close to the ropes though! Danielson pulled him up quickly for the Eagle-Plex, but Young floated over. He tried a big clotheslines, but Danielson ducked and kicked his arm. He tried the Shotgun Clothesline, but Young ducked! Danielson crashed, and EY tried the Spike Piledriver, but Danielson pulled his legs out! He fought to put Young in a Sharpshooter of his own, but Young fought him away with some punches. But Danielson grabbed his arm and PUT IN THE LEBELL LOCK! Nowhere near the ropes, Young quickly tapped.
Winner via submission: Bryan Danielson (6:54)

Danielson celebrated, and commentary announced that Strong was using his rematch clause next week.

--Commercial Break--

Kurt Angle’s music hit, BUT SEAN HERNANDEZ CAME OUT! Hernandez trolled the fans, saying that they’d never hear that music again, and they’d never see that fool again. He put himself over as more of a monster than even before, even at the peak of his undefeated streak. Whoever he steps in the ring with suffers not only a loss, but a world of pain, and probably more. He called himself the next TNA World Championship, and said THAT’S damn real.

--Commercial Break--

Alex Shelley arrived backstage, X-Division Championship over one shoulder and TNA Championship over the other.

Match 4: Monty Brown/James Storm/Volador vs Bailout/Viktor Koslov w/ Magnus & Tanaka
This started out as Monty killing Davey, as him killing small white guys is always fun. Koslov and Volador gave some cruiser goodness, and lucha won out, as it always does in short sequnces. Storm cleaned up and topped it off with a STORM PLANCHA~ to Koslov on the floor.

--Commercial Break--

Volador was flippy around coming back from the break, but Burke caught him off the ropes with a HUGE spinebuster that put him down. He was isolated some, and when he started to come back, Magnus tripped him up. But the ref saw something fishy happen, so he ejected the two Axis Powers! In all the hubbub, Volador tagged out to Storm! He cleaned house, but his pinfall attempts kept getting broken up. He tagged in Monty, then ran over to tackled Burke and Koslov off the apron! Davey walked right into the ALPHA BO - No! Davey floated over hit a big flurry of kicks! But Monty no-sold his offense! TAKE THAT, DAVEY RICHARDS! ALPHA BOMB! ONE … TWO … THRE - Burke JUST broke it up! Volador rushed the ring, but Koslov took him out with a Calf Kick! He tagged in and climbed up top for a crossbody, but Monty caught him! Running Powerslam! Koslov staggered to his feet, and Volador came in with a Springboard Hurricanrana! Koslov flipped around and flew to the corner, then bounced back right into the POUNCEEE~~~~~~~~~~~! PERIOD! ONE … TWO … THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Monty Brown/James Storm/Volador (10:46)

The faces celebrated in the ring, and I swear it looked like Monty Brown signaled for the world title.

--Commercial Break--

DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER! Alex Shelley came down to the ring by himself, the X-Division Championship in one hand, and the TNA Championship in the other. He waited for a minute without saying in a word, just taking in the atmosphere around him, reveling in the fact that he was a double World Champion. Then, he spoke.

Shelley: I don’t even want to say, “I told you so.” Because, while I did say it, I’m not even sure that I meant it myself. Alex Shelley, TNA World Champion? Never in a million years would I have guessed it. If you had told this Detroit punk that one day he would be a world champion in the sport of professional wrestling, I probably would have flipped you the bird, told you to fuck off, and gone on my way to wrestle in front of crowds of 15. And yet, here I am.

He set the TNA Championship on the ground.

Shelley: I think part of the reason that I didn’t fully believe I would ever win this title is because I’m not sure how much I actually wanted it in the months or years leading up to this. I don’t just say stuff to say it. When I talked about the X-Division Championship being superior to the TNA Championship, there is something to that. The TNA Championship has constantly been passed around based on who was in Planet Jarrett, who collided with Vince Russo in S.E.X., who pulled together all the WCW veterans to consolidate power, or who played up to Dixie enough to be granted title shot after title shot. The X-Division Champion on the other hand… I don’t think it would be too absurd for me to say that without this belt and without this division, TNA would not be around today. It made us stand out. And not just because we move fast and we have incredible technique. But because we compete for it. In the past two years, I have defended my belt in two Ultimate X matches, a Ladder match, several hardcore matches, the first ever X-Division King of the Mountain, and 21 times overall. And I did not just defend against who the fans hooted and hollered for. I made sure to find the most promising athletes to rack up defenses against. Whether guys who had hot streaks at the time -- Volador, Petey Williams, Jimmy Jacobs, Paul London -- or mainstay big names -- Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, and yes, now AJ Styles. This has been a belt that you had to deserve to fight for, and yet none of them were able to topple me.

He picked the TNA Championship up now, and actually set the X-Division Championship down.

Shelley: And yet, to hold the belt. To own this belt. It means something, you can feel it. It’s something that I don’t know I can’t describe unless you’ve done it yourself. The best wrestlers of all time talk about that feeling of being the World Champion, and now I feel it.

He put the TNA Championship back down, next to the X-Division Championship.

Shelley: But I made a promise.

He rolled out of the ring and pulled a black bag from under it, then took it with him back into the ring.

Shelley: I must say, I don’t know where all this talk of me vacating the TNA Championship came from. I never said I would do that. I believe, in my exact words, what I said was that I would “destroying it in front of everybody’s eyes.” And that is what I’m going to do.

He smiled. And then he dumped out the bag, and a sledgehammer fell out! And a lighter and some lighter fluid! Wtf.

Shelley: This has been my battle for 669 days, and this is my moment of glory. This is my victory.

He picked the X-Division Champion up and kissed it, then strapped it around his waist. Then he pulled up the sledgehammer, AND STARTED BASHING THE TNA CHAMPIONSHIP! WHAT THE FUCK. He completely destroyed the metal plate, pieces flying everywhere as he pummeled it like a madman! Then he started pouring lighter fluid all over the leather strap that remained! NO! Just as he lit it, AJ STYLES RAN OUT! But it was already lit, and it was burning in the middle of the ring! Some road agent ran down with a fire extinguisher to deal with it, but Styles gunned right for Shelley! A bunch of hired security guys ran down though, and they only contained Styles! He struggled to get free, AND FUCK YEAH BOOKER T RAN OUT TO HELP HIM FIGHT OFF THE SECURITY! Kevin Nash rushed out to help keep them back, but as they started to break away, Nash and Shelley fled threw the crowd!!!! DA FUCK.

Sorry guys, I didn't post Xplosion last week. I'll post it this week though, and we'll be back to schedule. I'll post the quick results from last week before this week's Xplosion. And btw, probably no Knockouts ever lol

Quick Results (10/22):
1. Prince Devitt def. Viktor Koslov to end their feud, because Sophie said to.
2. Robert Roode def. Raven
3. Kings of Wrestling def. 2 local talents
4. Jay Lethal def. Frankie Kazarian
5. New Age Machineguns def. The Young Bucks
6. Low Ki vs Homicide quickly went to a no contest when AJ Styles attacked Kevin Nash at the announce booth. When Waltman and Rhino came out to attack, Styles split and escaped through the crowd.

<big><big><big>TNA Impact: October 27, 2011</big></big></big>

Commentary welcomed everybody to the show, complete with new match format! They plugged Danielson vs Strong for the TV Title, and a main event of Cage/Roode vs Storm/Lethal! PLUS, Booker T demands an apology from Alex Shelley!

Match 1: Bailout w/ JBL vs The Asian Tigers [Non-Title]
- Bailout showcase mostly
- Burke did a lot of taunting while Davey dished out and no-sold stuff
- Bankruptcy (Snapshot) DDT won it
Winners via pinfall: Bailout (3:43)

Post-match, the New Age Machineguns came out to challenge for the tag titles! JBL said that it wouldn't be that easy, but that he’d set up a #1 contender’s match for next week.

Prince Devitt was hanging out in the back, and TJ Perkins walked up. He asked if Devitt was really a prince, and he said that was awesome. Devitt tried to walk away, but TJ followed along asking tons of question about what it was like being a prince.

Backstage, Kevin Nash announced that due to AJ Styles' unwarranted attack on him last week, AJ Styles was BANNED from competing on Xplosion! And if you didn't know that he has that power as Xplosion GM, then you're in for a few surprises.

Match 2: Bryan Danielson[c] vs Roderick Strong [TNA Television Championship]
- They didn't really need to feel each other out, but jumped right into a struggle for control
- They knew each other's offenses very well
- Danielson went after the arm again, but this time Strong came back with mostly kicks
- Strong tried a Tope Suicida but it missed, so Danielson ran back in to connect with one of his own
- They went back-and-forth for a while trying to stick enough moves for a full offense
- Danielson finally pulled out a German Suplex, and then locked in the Cattle Mutilation to win
Winner via submission and still TNA Television Champion: Bryan Danielson (11:54)

After the match, both guys shook hands and returned to the back together. Backstage, we could see Chad Collyer was watching on a monitor. Cornette announced that Danielson/Collyer had been signed for Xplosion.

Hero and Claudio were in the back, and Claudio formally introduced himself. He said that he has been training to be a professional wrestler since he was 4 months old, and he has trained in the streets of East Berlin, the shores of the Dead Sea, the valleys of Austria, and the peaks of the Swiss Alps. He said that he has won every title that Europe has ever offered, and his great-great-grandfather actually invented ring ropes, candle wax, and an early version of Macaroni and Cheese. He’s great, he’s amazing, he’s incredible, and he’s very European.

Hernandez vs London was scheduled, but Christopher Daniels came out! He offered up Kaz as a “sacrifice” to get his “prodigal son, Paul London” out of the match! London looked confused, but Kaz came down and Daniels told the ref to start the match!

Match 3: Sean Hernandez vs Frankie Kazarian
- Hernandez laughed at London for being scared of him, and London tried to attack, which let Kaz get in some kicks
- Hernandez no sold it all and murder Kaz with the Crackerjack, Spear, and Border Toss
Winner via pinfall: Sean Hernandez (1:34)

After the match, the Enlightened came down to help Kaz up, and Daniels told London to help. He did help, but when Daniels tried to hug him, London shoved him off and stormed to the back.

Alex Shelley arrived in the back with his X-Division Championship, which he pointed at and told the camera, "This is the real deal, baby!"

Match 4: Kings of Wrestling vs Fit Finlay/D’Lo Brown
- Finlay came right at Hero with a ton of fire, and they had a stiff strike exchange
- Claudio came in powered both guys around
- D'Lo was isolated
- He nearly got a tag out, but Hero ran over to knock Finlay off the apron, and then flatted D'Lo with the Cylcone Kill
- KOW debuted the KRS ONE to win
Winners via pinfall: Kings of Wrestling (4:26)

Post-match, Hero hit Finlay with the Hero’s Welcome just for fun. Commentary said that next week we would see a rematch, but this time Finlay’s partner would be another road agent, Jamie Noble!

Homicide was backstage, and he said that Low Ki got lucky on Xplosion, because he was going to kick his ass if Ki’s butt-buddy AJ Styles didn’t get involved. Just then, LOW KI CAME UP AND ATTACKED HIM! They fought in the back, and Cide pulled out the slapjack and nailed Low Ki repeatedly in the face! Officials finally pulled them apart.

Match 5: Christian Cage/Robert Roode w/ Team Canada vs James Storm/Jay Lethal w/ Jackie Moore & Consequences Creed
- Roode was still pissed off, and he brought the violence against Lethal
- But Storm stepped up and he and Roode had a big back-and-forth! BEER!
- MONEY!
- Cage and Roode worked like a really good unit, and they eventually isolated Lethal
- Christian got too cocky, and Lethal made his comeback, leading to a big hot tag from Storm!
- Team Canada got heavily involved now, but Jackie and Creed tried to even the odds
- The numbers game got to them, and Cage managed to sneak in a low blow and Unprettier on Lethal to steal it
Winners via pinfall: Christian Cage/Robert Roode (9:59)

Team Canada celebrated to the back as Storm helped Lethal to his feet.

In the main event segment, Booker T came out to the ring and talked about how Alex Shelley disrespected man who has ever held the TNA Championship, and every man who has bled and sweat to win it, but never could. He demanded Shelley come out to apologize. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER! Shelley did come out, but he refused to apologize! He said that the TNA Championship is a farce, and he will treat it like that. Booker T said that Shelley may have destroyed the physical belt, but one man can’t destroy the lineage that goes back nearly a decade. He said that since Shelley vacated the title, he would just simply put the motions together to name a new TNA World Champion.

But Shelley said to hold it right there! He said that he knows the TNA Championship is worthless, but he also knows that fools like Booker T cling to it, like a bunch of fleas fighting each other for a bite at a pile of cow dung. He said that, for their own good, he was NOT going to relinquish his earned right to the TNA Championship. Instead, as was his contractual privilege, he would sit on the label of “TNA Champion” for 60 days, at which point then Booker T could legally and justifiably strip him of the title. Until then, he would not defend the TNA Championship, because in his mind and in reality, such a title does not even exist.

Booker T was at a loss and was clearly riled up, but he didn’t know what to do! But then AJ STYLES CAME OUT! He got in Shelley’s face and said that if he wasn’t going to let the world have the TNA Championship, then AJ STYLES WOULDN’T LET ALEX SHELLEY HAVE THE X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP! AND STYLES SLUGGED HIM IN THE FACE! Shelley returned the favor, and they started trading blows! Shelley grabbed his belt and tried to hit Styles, but he ducked and hit the Pele Kick! STYLES CLASH! Shelley was down, and Styles held up the X-Division Championship over him to close the show.

TNA Xplosion: October 29, 2011

Taz and Raven welcomed everybody to the show, and Richie Steamboat joined them at the booth tonight. They introduced the new format to Xplosion viewers as well, and also admitted that Xplosion is going to be more like Heat for the next few weeks, at least.

Match 1: New Age Machineguns vs T.Y.S.O.N. w/ Eric Young
- Tomko was actually escorted to the ring in handcuffs by cops
- Both Michiganders bumped Dux around for a while
- Tomko used his power to cut Sabin off, but he quickly nailed a Superkick and made the hot tag to Jacobs
- A few moves later, he hit Dux with the Code 616 to win
Winners via pinfall: New Age Machineguns (4:02)

The New Guns celebrated in the ring and motioned for the belts, and commentary hyped a #1 contenders tag team match this Thursday on Impact.

Backstage, Kenny King went to TJ Perkins and made one last plea for them to be a tag team. TJ still wasn't sure, saying that honestly he was only friends with Scott Lost all along, and now he's quit. Kenny said that he had a match tonight, and he wanted TJ in his corner. When he told him it was against Prince Devitt, TJ accepted.

Match 2: Bryan Danielson[c] vs Chad Collyer [TNA Television Championship]
- Collyer wasted no time and charged right in with strikes to the arm
- Danielson completely outworked him and dominated him on the mat, even outdoing him with amateur stuff now
- Collyer got really aggressive, at times needing a warning from the ref
- After some big punches he got in some neck work
- Danielson blocked a German Suplex, then hit one of his own and mounted a comeback
- Collyer blocked the Triangle Choke, but set himself perfectly open for the LeBell Lock!
Winner via submission and still TNA Television Champion: Bryan Danielson (6:09)

Danielson celebrated with his title, but then offered a hand to Collyer. Collyer thought about it, but eventually they shook and left together.

A pre-taped Kings of Wrestling promo played, and it showed Claudio uppercutting replicas of Lord Zed's putties in the background while Chris Hero was explaining to the camera why common stereotypes about the Irish are in fact too generous, because they don't actually fit into a narrative of success in either a traditional European setting or a post-19th century USA-dominated world. And really, Fit Finlay's best claim to fame is riding the coattails of a midget, so it's silly for him to try to pretend like he's a tough Irish bastard, when in fact Mr. Hero can embarrass him in the ring as many times as they step in together.

Commentary talked some about what happened to close Impact, and they said that Dixie Carter would be there this Thursday with an announcement.

Match 3: Prince Devitt vs Kenny King w/ TJ Perkins
- Devitt came right out with his speed, and King tried to keep up, but totally failed
- He instead opted to ground Devitt, and he had some success after countering a hurricanrana into a Turnbuckle Powerbomb! BIG MOVES ON SATURDAY NIGHTS WHEN NOBODY'S WATCHING!
- King did a lot of cheating, and he taunted some by pretending to play the guitar and stuff. Taz called him the "Royal Rockstar" and said he loves to party
- Anyway, they had a pretty even back-and-forth, which Devitt showing off his high-flying as much as he could with his back
- King tried the Coronation, but Devitt countered with a falling facebuster
- He climbed up top to debut the Corkscrew Splash to win
Winner via pinfall: Prince Devitt (7:42)

TJ actually clapped for Devitt, but then realized what he was doing and stopped.

Backstage, TJ asked Devitt if he could be a prince too. Devitt invited him to come over to his castle some time, and TJ was stoked.

Match 4: Los Infernales vs Matt Morgan/Lance Hoyt w/ Don West
- Lucha goodness at the start
- Big men control in the middle
- Lucha goodness at the end
- Morgan ate a Moonsault from Averno to the floor, and then Mephisto hit Hoyt with a Moonsault in the ring to win
Winners via pinfall: Los Infernales (5:12)

Post-match Mexican celebration.

Next week on Impact: Kings of Wresting vs Fit Finlay/Jamie Noble and Danielson/Collyer/Strong vs The Axis Powers!

Match 5: Homicide vs Volador
- Lucha goodness at the start
- But then Homicide punched him in the face out of midair
- He was super aggressive all match, and it got worse as Volador showed he wasn't going down easy
- After Volador kicked out off a big boot, Homicide tried to undo his mask!
- Volador shot into Super Lucha mode and first flew around to fight back, but then brought it with punches and forearms!
- They brawled to the floor, and Volador hit an Asai Moonsault to the outside!
- They had a big fight back in the ring that led to some nearfalls, and Volador especially kept Cide from getting a lot of momentum
- Volador hit a Reverse Hurricanrana for a really long two-count
- He tried the Dragonrana, but Homicide moved! He hit a flash 187 to get the win
Winner via pinfall: Homicide (12:05)

Homicide got up and celebrated, but was pissed that it took so long, and he started attacking Volador! He tried to undo his mask again, BUT LOW KI RAN OUT! Homicide bailed before Ki could get to him, and quickly escaped to the back! WILL LOW KI EVER GET HIS REVENGE?!

TNA Impact: November 3, 2011

Commentary ran down some of the card: A tag title #1 contenders match, London vs Kazarian, and an announcement from Booker T concerning the title(s) situation.

Match 1: New Age Machineguns vs Young Bucks vs Los Infernales vs The Redcoats [#1 Contenders Match]
- The Guns ran through everybody at the start, but then the Bucks forced themselves in to literally just flip around on their own
- Los Infernales came in to lucha against them
- Then Dave Taylor beat the shit out of them
- Sabin tagged back in, and after a dive train to clear stuff out, he hit Max Buck with the Cradle Shock to win.
Winners via pinfall and #1 contenders to the TNA Tag Team Championship: Chris Sabin and Jimmy Jacobs (6:22)

The New Guns celebrated in the ring, and JBL came out to the stage to applaud them. The distraction let the champs sneak out and bash the challengers from behind with the titles!

Booker T came out to IMPACT ZONE~. He said that his hands were tied for the next 40+ days regarding the TNA Championship, but he can still control what happens with Shelley’s X-Title. Kevin Nash came down to correct him and said that as Xplosion GM and X-DIVISION CHANCELLOR, it is in fact he who has control over the X-Division Championship. That drew out DIXIE CARTER~ to settle things. She said that things have been a zoo lately, and it’s time for her to clean it up. She said that she looked through all the contracts, and that Shelley is right in that he can basically ignore being TNA Champion for 60-days. But as for who he defends his X-Division Championship against, it’s ultimately up to her, and that is why she is signing ALEX SHELLEY VS AJ STYLES IN A NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH for Turning Point!

Footage from last week played of Eric Young helping Christian get a pin on Jay Lethal.

Match 2: Jay Lethal vs Eric Young
- Young jumped him at the bell and worked his back some
- Lethal used some speed to throw him off
- He missed a Flying Crossbody, and Young worked the back again
- EY tried to put in the Sharpshooter, but Lethal kicked him off and hit the Lethal Combination
- He climbed up for the Lethal Elbow and the victory
Winner via pinfall: Jay Lethal (5:13)

Lethal celebrated, but Young snuck up with a low blow! He stomped at Lethal until Consequences Creed sprinted out to run him off.

Backstage, Christian went to Alex Shelley and complained that if he can’t challenge for the TNA Championship, then he at least wants to prove that he’s still got it, and he wants a shot at the X-Division Championship! Shelley said that he’s glad people are finally lining up to compete for the most prestigious belt in the world, and that’s why he’s already gone to Chancellor Nash and set-up a Fatal Fourway #1 Contenders match at Turning Point, with qualifying matches this week and next. Christian asked who he was facing, and Shelley smiled and told him to ask Nash.

Match 3: Kings of Wrestling vs Fit Finlay/Jamie Noble
- Claudio started by just hurling Noble around, but by God Jamie Noble just kept coming back!
- Hero tagged in to power him around some, but Noble countered a Cravate Suplex into an arm drag and hit a SNAP SCOOP POWERSLAM!
- Finlay got the hot tag and went crazy on Hero with big forearms and punches to the face
- He tried the Celtic Cross, but Claudio made a blind tag and took him down from behind
- Noble got in and tried a running crossbody, but Claudio caught him and threw him straight up for a VERY (Pop Up) EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!
- 1, 2, and 3
Winners via pinfall: Kings of Wrestling (4:52)

Post-match Hero tried to get Finlay with the Hero’s welcome again, but Finlay shoved him off and booted him to the outside! Commentary hyped Hero vs Finlay in a Street Fight on Xplosion.

Christian went to Nash backstage and asked who his opponent would be. Nash said that he doesn’t recall Christian ever being a big supporter of the X-Division, but he’s glad he came around. As for his opponent, he should have told him earlier probably. His match is tonight…against LOW KI!

Match 4: The Axis Powers vs Bryan Danielson/Roderick Strong/Chad Collyer
- Danielson took the lead for his team and mostly called the shots on how to work over each of the other three
- Koslov looked strong against Danielson, using his smarts to counter Danielson’s technique
- Tanaka had a bad chop-off with Strong, and Tanaka won!
- Magnus got overzealous on Danielson, and ended up walking right into the Eagle-Plex
- It briefly broke down, and Collyer and Strong took Koslov and Tanaka to the floor with suplexes
- Danielson went up top for the Flying Headbutt to Magnus to win
Winners via pinfall: Bryan Danielson/Roderick Strong/Chad Collyer (9:05)

Clips played of Prince Devitt bringing TJ Perkins to his castle, and showing him around. TJ was stunned, and said that he could really get used to being a prince.

Backstage, Viktor Koslov went to Brutus Magnus and said that he was officially out of the Axis Powers! It’s just him and Tanaka now.

Match 5: Monty Brown vs Homicide [Fourway Qualifier]
- Mostly a squash
- Homicide did tons of running away
- POUNCEEEEEE~~~~~~~! PERIOD.
Winner via pinfall: Monty Brown (3:38)

Commentary announced Robert Roode vs James Storm and Sean Hernandez vs Brian Kendrick next week in the Fourway qualifiers, as well as Collyer vs Strong vs Lethal vs King vs Young vs Koslov, with a winner getting a shot at Danielson’s TV title at Turning Point.

Backstage, AJ Styles said that Alex Shelley has shamed TNA and the TNA Championship, and that directly shames AJ Styles. But at Turning Point, he promised to shame Alex Shelley by taking the X-Division Championship from off his waist.

Match 6: Paul London vs Frankie Kazarian w/ Jimmy Rave & Daffney
- London mostly dominated at first on the mat
- Kaz tried to up the speed, but London beat him there too
- Chris Daniels came down to watch neutrally, but the distraction let Kaz take over
- He tried the Bicycle Kick, but London ducked and hit a quick Superkick!
- Shooting Star Press got the win
Winner via pinfall: Paul London (6:20)

Post-match, Daniels got in and demanded that London shake his hand, but he refused. They surrounded him, but Kendrick ran down to help London in case they attacked. Daniels started to leave, but then turned and the Enlightened attacked! It was a three-on-two, and Daffney helped out as well. In the end, they had London down and then took Kendrick down, and Daniels sat a chair down across Kendrick’s throat! He had Ravarian pull London up, and he threatened to crush Kendrick’s throat if London didn’t shake his hand. London finally did it, and then Daniels slapped him in the face! He shoved him out of the ring, and then the Enlightened confidently walked to the back.

Backstage, Chris Daniels told Raven that Paul London had better learn to respect the most powerful stable in TNA, and soon enough he’d want to join anyway.

Match 7: Low Ki vs Christian Cage [Fourway Qualifier]
- Christian was way too confident going it this, and it cost him early
- Low Ki went right for the shoulder to prevent the Unprettier
- Christian resorted to a lot of cheating to stay in it
- Low Ki seemed really motivated and stuff, and pulled out some big dives and strikes
- Team Canada came down to ringside, but Low Ki immediately took them all out with a TOPE CON GIRO!
- He climbed in, but Christian leveled him with the SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR! ONE … TWO … THRE - Low Ki kicked out!
- Christian was mostly in control from there, but Low Ki mounted a big comeback after the Springboard Roundhouse
- Team Canada distracted the ref, and HOMICIDE RAN DOWN!
- He climbed in and nailed Low Ki with the slapjack, then rolled out!
- Christian covered! ONE … TWO … THRE - NO! LOW KI KICKED OUT!
- Christian quickly pulled him up for the Unprettier, and that got the win
4.png

Winner via pinfall: Christian Cage (12:56)

After the match, Homicide pulled Low Ki up for the Gringo Killer, but Low Ki shoved him away! He started going crazy with elbows, but Cide escaped to the outside and sprinted to the back!

In the closing segment, X-Division World Champion Alex Shelley came down to the ring with Kevin Nash, and he boasted about how now everybody cares about his X-Title, just how it should have been all along. AJ Styles came out now and yeah they argued and stuff. They looked like they were about to fight, and Nash stepped up and shoved Styles! Booker T ran down now and shoved Nash back, AND BOOKER AND NASH STARTED FIGHTING IN SUITS! Styles tried to pull them apart, but Shelley blindsided him with a right hand! Book and Nash kept fighting, but the focus was more on AJ and Alex now, who were having a violent brawl on the floor. Styles hit his Discus Clothesline on the floor, and he went over to get the X-Title, but when he turned around, SHELLEY BASHED HIM IN THE SKULL WITH THE TV MONITOR! Shelley picked up his title now and held it over a bladed Styles to close the show.

TNA Xplosion: November 5, 2011

Taz and Raven were joined by Brutus Magnus. Tonight: Jacobs vs Tanaka, and Hero vs Finlay in a Street Fight in the main event!

Match 1: 2 Crazy Negroes vs Eric Young/Tyson Dux with Tyson Tomko
- Lethal and Young were pretty aggressive with each other
- The Negroes meshed better in their offense, which helped
- Tomko tried to get involved, but Creed took him out with a plancha
- Lethal hit Dux with the Lethal Combination to get the pin
Winners via pinfall: 2 Crazy Negroes (6:33)

Backstage, Hero and Claudio arrived, with hero in his street clothes of gym shorts and a Superman logo t-shirt.

Commentary announced that Homicide vs Low Ki had been signed for Turning Point, and that Low Ki had successfully lobbied for it to be a Cage Match so that Cide can’t just run off.

Finlay arrived in the back wearing his jeans and a leather jacket with splotches of goat blood on it.

Match 2: James Storm vs Amazing Red
- Speed vs power stuff here
- Red did flips
- Storm threw him around, and won with the Eye of the Storm
Winner via pinfall: James Storm (5:11)

As Storm celebrated, commentary hyped him vs Roode and Hernandez vs Kendrick on Impact in Fourway Qualifier matches.

In the back, Chris Hero was alone, and he said that he’s shown people that he can wrestle, and tonight he gets to show people that he can fight. Because Chris Hero loves to fight too, and he loves helping along people when it’s time for them to retire too.

Match 3: Masato Tanaka vs Jimmy Jacobs with Chris Sabin
- Jacobs used his high-flying to move around Tanaka
- Tanaka was pretty quick though, and he managed to contain him some
- Jacobs had to do a hit-and-run strategy, but it just made Tanaka really angry
- He finally flatted Jacobs with a big running elbow, and then just got really Japanese in his stiffness
- Jacobs showed some goof fight, and commentary pointed out that this time last year, he’d probably be done by now
- Tanaka went for the Dangan Bomb, but Jacobs flipped through and hit a Jim-O-Cution!
- He mounted a big comeback, and managed to block a lot of Tanaka’s strikes
- Tanaka landed some good elbows, but when he tried the Running D, Jacobs ducked and hit a kip-up hurricanrana!
- He fought to his feet and ducked a clothesline, then hit a Spear!
- Tanaka moved away from the Flying Back Senton, but then turned into the Code 616 to end it!
Winner via pinfall: Jimmy Jacobs (10:56)

Jacobs celebrated in the ring, and then promised to win the tag belts with Chris at Turning Point.

Part One of a “Look at Alex Shelley” played, going over his early singles career. Clearly narrated by Kevin Nash, it touched on his early singles stuff in the X-Division, as well as his stint with Paparazzi Productions, under the “tutelage of a wise old soul.” Then the PCS Series Musical Chairs Challenge played in full. Brought to you by Friends of Alex Shelley and the X-Division.

Backstage, Finlay said that he’s fought, trained, and made cry some pretty big shitheads, but this Chris Hero fellah is the worst of ‘em all. He said that tonight he makes Chris Hero wish he never tried to use Fit Finlay to make a statement to the world.

Match 4: Roderick Strong/Chad Collyer vs Viktor Koslov/Kenny King
- Strong and Collyer had the advantage with their tag chemistry
- Koslov took it right to Strong though and worked over his arm to prevent his chops
- Collyer got in with suplexes everywhere, but King blocked one and hit a DDT!
- The heels actually worked together to isolate Collyer
- He nearly got the hot tag, but Koslov cut him off with a blind roundhouse to Strong!
- Collyer tried to put in the Crossface Chickenwing, but Koslov arm dragged away and hit the Red Scare to win!
Winners via pinfall: Viktor Koslov/Kenny King (8:30)

The heels celebrated their win over an established tag team, but then Young ran out to attack! Lethal was there behind him, and Collyer and Strong joined in the brawl as well. In the end, Strong and Collyer worked together with suplexes/backbreakers everywhere, and they stood tall. Commentary hyped the 6-Pack Match on Impact for a shot at Danielson's title.

A replay of the end of Impact played.

A hype video went over the Hero/Finlay feud.

Match 5: Chris Hero vs Fit Finlay [Street Fight]
- Before the bell, Finlay charged right in and took Hero to the mat!
- They just started slugging at each other
- Hero couldn’t even use his size advantage, because Finlay kept him on the ground and in reach
- Finlay chucked Hero headfirst into the ring post and then grabbed a steel chair
- After a fight over the chair, Hero NAILED Finlay in the face, cutting him slightly open in the forehead!
- BLOOD ON SATURDAY NIGHTS WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING!
- They fought around the floor now, and Finlay refused to stay on the ground for more than a few seconds, even walking around woozily to stay up
- Hero tried the Hero’s Welcome on the floor, but Finlay threw him back and he fell BACK OF THE HEAD FIRST ON THE RING STEPS!
- Finlay just started raging now, taking it to Hero with punches, boots to the skull, and a SINGAPORE CANE!
- Finlay tried to come at him with the chair, but Hero kicked the steps into him, making Finlay fall skull-first into the barricade!
- Hero took it back into the ring and tried to end it a few times, but Finlay held on
- He tried to lock in the Hangman’s Clutch, but Finlay elbowed out and hot shotted Hero on the top rope, then locked in the CELTIC KNOT!
- Hero fought to the ropes and pulled himself up to break free, and the two started trading anything they could to end it
- Hero tried the Hero’s Welcome, but Finlay cranked his neck back and hit a DDT!
- He pulled him up for the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER, but Hero floated over and hit the ROLLING ELBOW!
- Hero pulled the chair under Finlay, AND HIT THE HERO’S WELCOME ONTO THE CHAIR
- Yeah, that ended it
Winner via pinfall: Chris Hero (14:20)

After the match, Claudio came out to applaud Hero, and then they started attacking Finlay! Hero pulled him the chair to nail him, DAVE TAYLOR RAN OUT WITH A SHILLELAGH TO SAVE! He swung at the Kings until they finally bailed. Taylor tossed Finlay his weapon and they scowled, but goddamn fist bumped.

TNA Impact: November 10, 2011

To start the show, GM Booker T came out and said that he had enough of Shelley’s bullshit, and he was making Shelley defend the TNA Championship, or else he would be fired! Nash came out and said he had no authority to do that. Booker said he’d ban him from Impact then, but Nash said that would rob Impact of any major champion. DIXIE CARTER~ came out and said that, frankly, neither guy was acting in a way befitting a General Manager. And so she was stripping them both of their GM positions until Turning Point was over, so she would be in charge of conducting affairs this week and next. And she’s already decided this week’s main event: AJ Styles/Low Ki vs Alex Shelley/Homicide!

Match 1: Christopher Daniels vs Elix Skipper
- Commentary brought up the history of Daniels kicking Skipper out of the Enlightened, and now he wants London
- So yeah, Skipper brought some hate
- Still mostly a squash, and Daniels won with the Angel’s Wings
Winner via pinfall: Christopher Daniels (3:04)

Post-match, Brian Kendrick ran down to attack, but Ravarian intercepted him and dragged him down to the ring. London came out to save, but Daniels quickly hit Kendrick with the Last Rites! Daniels slid away to escape, and he said that it was for Paul’s own good as he backed up the ramp.

TV Champion Bryan Danielson came down to join commentary for the next match, whose winner he will defend the title against at Turning Point.

Match 2: Roderick Strong vs Chad Collyer vs Jay Lethal vs Viktor Koslov vs Eric Young vs Kenny King
- Lots of moves
- Collyer and Strong worked together throughout
- Koslov was in charge of taking the big bumps, including a Sunset Flip Powerbomb from Strong off the apron and to the floor!
- Lethal and Young had some heated exchanges
- Strong hit Koslov with the Death By Roderick, and King tried to steal the pin, but Lethal broke that up with the Lethal Elbow!
- Strong broke it up, but then Lethal threw him out
- EY tried to hit Lethal with the Spike Piledriver, but Lethal countered into the LETHAL COMBINATION!
Winner via pinfall: Jay Lethal (7:12)

Lethal celebrated in the ring, and Danielson left the commentary booth to shake his hand.

Backstage, AJ Styles went up to Low Ki! He said that he knows they’ve had big problems, but not to forget that they’re also former tag team champions. He said that they just need to get along tonight, and it will be fine. Ki thought about it and nodded, but then walked off.

Match 3: Sean Hernandez vs Brian Kendrick [Fourway Qualifier]
- Kendrick sold the Last Rites from before, so he tried to do everything he could to end it early
- He jumped Hernandez at the bell! Wild punches and kicks!
- Hernandez kept throwing him off, but Kendrick was right back on him every time
- Lots of hit-and-run stuff, but more so Hernandez murder
- Hernandez finally caught him off a springboard with a Spear to win
Winner via pinfall: Sean Hernandez (5:40)

Chris Daniels was interviewed by Raven in the back, and he said that he’s trying to show Paul London that Brian Kendrick is a fraud, and his real future is with the Enlightened. He also revealed that Daniels/Rave vs The Hooliganz had been signed for Turning Point.

Backstage, the New Guns said that Burke and Davey have defended their titles three times, but never against them. In fact, they’ve never even had a non-title match. They said they’ve been on a six-month chase back to the tag titles, and it concludes at Turning Point when they beat Bailout.

Match 4: Robert Roode vs James Storm w/ Jackie Moore [Fourway Qualifier]
- Both guys were vry srs going into this, and commentary underscored both guys’ very long-held desire to be a world champ
- They played it as pretty evenly matched too
- Roode started to get more aggressive, but that just led to him walking into more of Storms’ power stuff
- Roode hurt his back taking a Running Powerslam, but lured Storm into a rope-hang Neckbreaker
- It turned into a back versus neck thing
- When Roode kept growing more frustrated, Dux and Tomko ran down!
- Dux grabbed Storm’s foot off the ropes and he tripped forward, but Roode didn’t attack Storm
- Instead he went over to yell at Dux for getting involved!
- Storm grabbed a roll-up! ONE … TWO … THRE - Roode got out!
- He quickly hit the Payoff and won!
Winner via pinfall: Robert Roode (12:29)

Roode went to the back on his own.

A Devitt/TJ vignette played, where Devitt let him shine his crown, feed his poodle, sleep with his maid, and play in his bounce house.

This week on Xplosion: Jacobs vs Davey and Sabin vs Burke!

Backstage, Christian congratulated Roode and said that one of them would definitely walk out the #1 contender if they worked together. He said that since they weren’t sure if or when the TNA Championship would be back, there’s no problem with the champion’s purse from the X-Title.

Match 5: Kings of Wrestling vs Fit Finlay/Dave Taylor [Belfast Brawl]
- In a case of a match with stupid rules, this was a regular tag match, but shillelaghs were legal
- Lots of violence, but no blood, since it’s not Saturday night, and hopefully people are watching
- Every time KOW used their tag chemistry to control, the old men came right back with brutal old man violence
- Claudio took out Dave with a Running European Uppercut on the floor
- Finlay got rocked with the UFO, Rolling Elbow, Delayed Vertical Suplex, a shillelaghs to the skull, and KRS ONE to end the match and the feud
Winners via pinfall: Kings of Wrestling (11:28)

Shelley went up to talk to Homicide about strategy, but Cide laughed and said to shut his cracker mouth, and he walked off.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs was alone, and JBL walked up to him! Jacobs looked defensive, but JBL said to calm down. He said that he’s noticed Jimmy has grown into another Jimmy he once knew--a young Jam Garvin, or somebody else that 95% of the TNA audience won’t actually get the reference too and so won’t be able to judge the credibility of such comparison. Anyway, with the right backing, he could make Jacobs into a star. Jacobs told him to screw off, but JBL told him to think about a sponsorship offer seriously, and to let him know by Saturday.

Backstage, Monty told Raven that he’d win or something. Hernandez said, no way José. And then they fought.

Match 6: AJ Styles/Low Ki vs Alex Shelley/Homicide
- Neither team got along at all, but as it went on, Styles and Ki actually used some of their old tandem offense
- Homicide refused to get in with Low Ki
- Shelley was eager to tag in with AJ, but did a lot of dodging and taunting to play with his head
- So yeah, lots of Styles/Homicide and Shelley/Low Ki
- Finally Low Ki got at Cide and destroyed him with kicks, so Homicide tagged out and split to the back, and Ki chased after him!
- It came down to Styles vs Shelley!
- It quickly got violent, and after a strike exchange, Styles went to the throat, then unloaded with punches and wouldn’t stop wailing at Shelley when he was already beat down in the corner
- When he shoved the ref to get back at him, he finally threw it out!
Winners via disqualification: Alex Shelley/Homicide (10:40)

From there it just got even more wild as a brawl. It went to the floor again, and this time Styles tried to bash Shelley with the TV monitor in revenge for last week, but Shelley ducked and BASHED STYLES WITH HIS BELT! Styles again got cut open as he went down, and Shelley laughed over him to close the show.
