Honestly what do I think so far? Letdown is what I think.

Honestly TNA booked up some of this stuff a little hastily I think. Watching the Feb 3rd show AJ Styles and Beer Money have never looked like bigger stars standing with Steiner and Angle against Immortal but those guys are relatively thin on the ground in terms of this PPV.

As for the matches. Team 3D going one on one in a gimmick match to hide the fact that their physique's mean only Devon can really work a match. Pope vs Joe is actually a match with a LOT of talent but the slow heel turn for Pope and the build to this match has been...well, forgettable and lame. I don't like OTT knockout matches. Toolboxes and knocking each other out etc just don't work for me. Isn't it enough the knockouts can actually work compared to divas? Why amplify the violence? (for the target crowd no doubt). Then theres RVD vs Matt Hardy which just really riles me because RVD phones so much in these days and Matt is out of shape. Also, the Jarrett/Angle stuff, what with what has been seen and the coming build tonight I believe? Well it just makes me uncomfortable.

So...yeah, not many hopes in terms of build HOWEVER Angle and Jeff always put on clinics, Pope vs Joe should be a showcase of two guys who should be nearer the World Title than they are right now and we'll have some sort of Jeff/Anderson/Morgan? thing going on so that'll probably be alright even though we've seen it all before.

Not impressed TNA.

This screams stream for free. I mean not one of these matches is a most see. TNA is known for midcard match quality and Pope vs Joe could be solid but nothing excites me.

Angle and Jarrett winner gets custody of Karen's kids, what else is there to say? This is insulting to everyone involved, by no means should anyones children be subjected to this kind of angle nor these type of stipulations. It's exploitation.

Bully Ray can work and so can Devon, they need to stop relying on gimmick matches, since brawls stop being fun to watch in the 90s.

Once again, the Knockouts are the only thing worth watching for TNA. And yet they never get any respect from that company, you would think a company with a woman as the boss would look for better treatment for their biggest ratings grabber and yet they are the lowest paid employees in TNA.
Matt Hardy I don't care for, RVD doesn't work as hard as he used to, it looks like he is just there for a check.

1. I actually agree with just about everything that deezy said, great point about the KO's too.

2. Far too many gimmick matches or rematches from prevaious shows, and like Scott said none of the matches stand out as must see matches. Can't say I am let down, because I am getting used to it by now with this company, but yeah it is poor.

I didn't catch it (no live TNA PPVs in UK) but I caught the results.

What did everybody think of the show?

I don't watch TNA pay per views. But why did Jeff Hardy regain the title when his court date is Wednesday? TNA must really think he isn't going to jail.

It is just sad that TNA put their top title back on a criminal druggie. The fact that he has another court date next week is just laughable. Why the hell put the title back on him now. At least wait until after the court case is settled. The guy shouldn't be champion firstly because he is a terrible figurehead but secondly because he doesn't even need the title to be over.

This PPV was shocking really. It's frustrating (when isn't it?) to see the workrate of some of these guys and the ring work still be so high for so much of the talent but when the booking flat out doesn't make sense and the wrong people are spot lighted and the perennial court attendee Jeff Hardy is your Worlds Champion...what's the point in investing? Trouble is you can see those cool stars and that good work rate on iMPACT 'cause guys like Angle and Beer Money and Styles bring it every night. PPV tends to be diluted between three things, the often quality undercard, stupid main event booking and too many superstars phoning it in.

I got the event recorded (Being in the UK I couldn't watch it live) and I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. It's unfair to judge a PPV by the results when it's the performance that matters. Kaz V Robbie E was great and the crowd were behind the X Champ all the way and he put on a great finish...Robbie floats over the turnbuckle, only for his opponent to catch him and put him in the inverted tombstone.

There's still some garbage filler like the never ending Mickie James V Madison fued but the six man tag and the main event made up for it. The ladder match was serious, had good buildup and was well paced. Hardy really bought out the best in the champ, Anderson V Morgan was extremely dull but Hardy made things much more exciting. Plenty of spots and plenty of close calls were great. Plus, having the heel win is unexpected these days as it doesn't happen very often.

I can see why the court case mixes things up, but inside the company Jeff has been on form. But so has Anderson, he's picked himself up a lot tbh.
