So what is the overall consensus on the pros and cons in Blaine claiming now?

Scum knows he isn't VT now but they don't know his exact role, does he still need to claim to get protection like Flay was trying to get at?

I'm trying to work if that was a Town motivation or not, I can see where they might be a town train of thought in that. If Blaine has a really good role, you obviously don't want him taken out straight away. With that being said, the whole thing felt iffy. I don't know how else to put it.

Scum won't shoot Blaine yet, I don't know how best to word this but... he's not exactly a key concern of theirs - even with a non-VT role.

No need for protection and no need for a claim imo

I'm not tunneling Flay for the record, I can see where this might be aggressive town play from him and I can't deny he's being doing a lot in the thread. I just don't know if I want to switch my vote at this juncture, I think maybe Rugrat might be a better choice. Just because he goes quiet a lot and I'm not sure if I like his play around a player I find to be Town (Blaine)

If anyone’s wondering, aces town reads there are both on players who can potentially be a pain in the ass cause of their aggression levels, but it feels too generous to give those reads to me, at least for the reasons ace gave them

I don't think anyone was saying he was, but I liked his early play a lot. He didn't beat around the bush and got straight in to analysis and well, being productive. It just looked good to me.

I can't recall the specific games but I know it happens.

I mean he's far more bold as town such as legitimately faking information as town

The difference between this game and last is telling and the last game as well as the game when Flay played with Rugrat and I as scum was proof enough for me that Flay just isn't able/willing to replicate his carefree game properly as scum.
