Ridiculous assumption, of course it isn't. I'm into women, not men.

That doesn't make any sense. I'm into men and I don't get aroused over two men being all over each other. Besides, if a girl is a lesbian, she won't be into you so it doesn't really make sense. Neither of them kissing each other affects me; I just don't care for it. This is obviously not the case for straight men.

Of course I understand it. Men are prudes when it comes to their gender. :side: Women simply don't care about seeing men or women kiss.

The bible doesn't condone it, and neither do I. But since it's apart of our lives now, it's something we must accept. People will be ignorant and not face that facts of having to accept it, but while it's almost legal to marry the same sex in most states, there's no point in rebelling against it. If you're so against gays, walk away.

I honestly don't care if you are gay or not. My only problem is with the overly flamboyant ones that flaunt it so EVERYBODY KNOWS IT! They might as well just wear a big poster board over their body that says I'M GAY SO YOU BETTER ACCEPT ME!

Like if you keep it cool and just act like a normal person... so be it. You live your life the way you want and I'll live mine. I won't have no qualms with you. You wanna walk around with your significant other... so be it... not a bother to me. If you gonna look to make out with them in public... problem. And not just cause they gay... but because that just shows no class to do it like that rather straight or gay. Not everyone wants to see you making out with your person.

But yeah... my thoughts on gay people... they cool as long as they aren't flaunting it in my face. I know a few gay folks and there is one guy that I seriously wanna just punch in the face and beat him senseless cause he is the type that is extremely over the top about it and everybody... even the other gay people don't like him cause of how he acts.

I'm not a homophobe or anything because I have gay relatives and a friend that is bisexual. As long as gay people don't try anything with me, they are all good in my books.

Are (some of) you guys really that ignorant? These comments are horrendous. They're people just like us and I support them in all walks of life. My friends do, as does my girlfriend (who has an aunt with a partner), as well as the music scene around here. The rate at which states have been legalizing civil unions lately has been incredible.

Fine with them as long as they don't try to chat me up (sadly, it has happened).

I find the thought of male gay sex disturbing, and am slightly flustered when I see outright couples on the street, but other than that I'm OK. I even think my uncle may be gay, and he's still all right.

Mind you, I have no problem with lesbians, mostly because I'm a kinky perv :S

Also I've been told that apparently I'm gay bait because I'm "their type" - lean and wiry. Don't know how true that is, though.

To be honest, considering how logical legalizing it is, it's going WAY too slow.

There is more evidence surfacing that homosexuality (believed to be chemical levels in the womb) isn't a choice so hating/disliking people due to different chemical levels released in the womb seems pretty ridiculous. I understand people feeling uncomfortable around gays, but that's not my personal feelings.

And hitting on a point that someone brought up, this image that gays are sexual predators going after straights is just ridiculous haha. I've had/have gay friends, and when we're at parties, they'll hit on guys just like I'd hit on a girl. If I found out the girl was a lesbian, I'd back off cuz she's probs not going to make an exception for me haha. Likewise, when said friends accidentally hit on a straight guy, they back off when they realize. I've never seen someone realize and then proceed to try to "rape someone in the ass" lol. That's just dumb.

True. I don't watch the news, but I know people in a band called Hostage Calm that have rallied in different states and helped to legalize it, most recently in New Jersey. And they got to see the first couple adopt there. I thought that was incredible.

My opinions on the matter: Don't take anything personal; don't feel threatened; don't be a dick if you're comfortable with your own sexuality. As simple as that.

I'm all for doing what makes you happy as long as you aren't pushing it on me. If you're gay, that's great and there's nothing wrong with it as long as you accept the fact that I'm a straight male who does not feel comfortable around gays and who does not support gay culture. Don't reverse discriminate and don't push your culture on me. I have a friend I've known since second grade. He used to be my best friend and then we both moved. He is an outed gay and that doesn't change my opinion of him.
