Album Listen #19: One of my favourite rap albums is a Talib Kweli album - but not listened to it since I was a teenager. So this could prove to be great - although I know nothing about Mos Def. The record had a jam feeling to it - but nothing that stood out as exceptional. Nothing to also really call out either though, so maybe it just wasn't for me. ​

Album Listen #20: Not come across many five song albums - so I am already curious about this one as it means longer songs for sure. There is some profound, beautiful, mind boggling, confusion and also on some level emotionally wrong with this record. It is like an obituary or dedication - but for the living rather than the dead. Has left me very confused on my thoughts about Pink Floyd - but I did enjoy it.

Album Listen #21: The album is just a chilled vibe. Easy listening and good times. Its simple and effective. Free Bird is always an epic song on its own merit as well.​

Album Listen #22: First time listening to his album. It's not my favourite Beastie Boys album - but I do think it still their quirky unique vibe and its very much got that bust-a-move feel to it. There is also something undeniable brave and well produced about the album almost as a concept piece - so it does throw me off at times for how cool it actually is, with a very aggressive sound ​

Album Listen #23: Can't remember the last time I listened to this - probably as a child though. It is a very well put together album and is very easy listening, and although there isn't a particular song that stands out as a hit - the overall composition is just a very chilled experience. ​

Ziggy Stardust review -
Whimsical, joyful and just a whole lot of fun is how I'd rate this. Theme is clear from the start and the story is never really boring. Fantastic listenm.

OK Computer -
Not much to say here, it's OK Computer. first 3/4 of the album especially are legendary.​

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
We have our first surprise of the draft for me, wow, what a record. Songs flow great into one another and they are for the most part all big hits. In fact 3/4 of this record is just straight up classic bangers. Absolutely deserving of a 1st round pick, I loved it.​

Album Listen #25: I've only flirted with the blues, but album absolutely kicked for me. Was a really enjoyable experience and from start to finish it was a really good vibe - whilst eating my breakfast. ​

Album Listen #26: No stranger to Led - but embarrassingly never listened to this album before [starting to question a lot of my musical decisions at this point and I'm only 15% in]. The album is just another reminder to me why LZ are "The Kings of Hard Rock" with some standout songs, but a few that were a bit experimental sounding and weren't my cup of a tea. Nonetheless the album is pretty great - and has me instantly getting prepared to listen to more LZ next month. ​

Album Listen #27: The album is seriously funky and Prince is one of kind in the way he can just loses his minds and go from singing to straight up screaming but remain in harmony throughout. Listening to this album is most certainly an experience. ​
