I like to describe the 90s as everyone waking up after a 10 year coke binge and having to switch to heroin to cope with the sheer absurdity of the world
Frankly, I would put the 90's collage of artists/music up against any other decade really It might be biased since those were the most influential years on my life when it came to music. BUT I still stick with my opinion.

To add to the Tom Petty love, the videos for the singles from the album are some of my favorites from that time period.

Music went from partying and fucking girls to doing drugs and being depressed. Not sure if that’s a flex but the music was good nonetheless :lol

Partying, sex and drowning homeless guys, you can't forget that last one.

151 albums to go. Already found one diamond. I wonder how many more I will unearth.

Since you liked Tom Petty, you might like Traveling Wilburys. It’s a band that consists of Tom Petty, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison.

Up there with the albums I'd potentially consider flawless. Every song is absolutely brilliant, I always really liked Starman and Moonage Daydream especially. Bowie is incredibly creative, and his music just feels so otherworldly at times, it's really such a joy to listen to. Plenty of catchy bops in this too, always thought Hang on to Yourself has a killer sound to it, he was so ahead of his time in many ways. Great listen, been a while since I made my way through the whole thing, for sure worth it.

I think the way imma do this is I’m gonna post reviews for one person in their entirety. So like I’m gonna listen to all of Blaze’s albums and then post a review for each album in one post. That way im not posting 150 individual reviews lol

Album Listen #18: First time I've actually listened to this album - which actually surprised me. For a band to have their shortest song being over 5 minutes - you know going through the gates that this is an album, where the music being played is just as - if not more important than the vocals and I feel this albums delivers exactly that. It is a great bit of composition and no doubt headbanging was involved even when sitting on my armchair. Not a live changing album for me - but great nonetheless.
