Album Listen #47: It is an album that has certainly improved over time - at least for my ears. There are a few throwaway songs - but the album as a whole feels very reflective and emotional and at times is incredible deep and heartfelt. A good album from a very good band.

I rank them as follows
1 Revolver taxman is one of my favorite Beatles tracks

Album Listen #48: Always up for a bit of Cash - and hadn't heard of this this short album before. The song are very to the point and have a cuteness to them - but nothing really life changing.

Album Listen #49: I've heard this album a few times. I don't mind it - although I'm not the biggest FM fan. Its still worth a listen - just for the vocalist excitement when he sings.

Album Listen #50: I loved the rock and roll blue vibes of Steppenwolf - the sort of band you would listen to around a fire with a bowl of heart soup in your hand. I don't think they are a band that one dedicates their entire life to - but their life is surely empty if they don't have a slice of Steppen every now and again.

Album Listen #51: Didn't connect well to this - although did enjoy the 90s nostalgia is offered. Was very ABBA at ties.

Album Listen #52: This album threw me off - it was like two very different styles on the same album which confused me. Some of the songs I enjoyed somewhat - whilst others weren't my cup of tea. Songs like Wake Up and Rebellion ended the album in high spirits for me - but it was a little be to dreary for me. Musically though it is very well put together.

Alanis_Morissette_-_Jagged_Little_Pill.jpg

Album Listen #53: Alanis has a one of a kind voice and this album is really a true favourite - it is a few song short of being perfect, but all in all it is a must listen to and I think I annoy family members when I put this album on blast. The track placement at times also feels off - but this bangs.

Album Listen #54: This was like a cool funky jazz rock sort of experience - I wasn't sure at first, but I really grew into this record as it progressed.

Album Listen #55: A great name - and was so confused to find out they are German, but play Irish Folk and it was even more impressive how authentic it felt. The album were a lot of fun and a few of the song I will be listening to again - so was a really diamond find for me. I do enjoy Irish Folk and this is done with a solid rocky vibe so well done for discovering these dudes.

Album Listen #56: This album is just full of anthems - 100% an album I connected to the Bose speakers. This has a really feel good album - and despite being from the 80s almost offered a easy entry into the metal before listeners jump back in time. A few songs come off as generic throwaways - but in majority this almost is killer. Love listening - and so close to being the perfect article.

And that is 33.33% of the albums listened too....

Loved this album. I'd never heard it before but I was familiar with a lot of Bon Jovi's biggest hits on this one and always enjoyed them. Great intro song with Let It Rock and it keeps getting better. Very easy listen with a good vibe. Even enjoyed some of the songs I hadn't heard much before over some of my usual favourites like Livin' On A Prayer as well. Especially the last song Wild In The Streets, that feels like a pretty underrated one, for sure be repeating that one in the future.

May have just become my new favourite Mos Def album. I always went with Black on Both Sides but this is an amazing duo. Re:Definition was my favourite song on this, shit ruled. Crazy flow and I loved that beat a lot.

Elton_John_-_Goodbye_Yellow_Brick_Road.jpg

Brilliant album. Been a while since I really sat down and listened to an Elton John album, so glad this draft got me to do so. Elton's John's voice is absolutely amazing, love the vibes of this. Pretty lengthy album too and it just flies by. It's close between Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Candle In The Wind for my favourite song, but they are all fantastic.

Album Listen #57: This is loud, noisy and fiery and doesn't giving a shit about anything else. An enjoyable IDGAF album - although not going to change anyone's life.

Album Listen #58: Tried this album - but I didn't understand it at all. I think the weed references at times became too much LOL.

Listen Album #59: Mixed feelings on this one albums. About 3/4 of the album felt like a strong country record - but a few songs felt like someone really wanted to be a Disney Pop princess. For the most part it was a good experience - but I almost feel like this could have easily been a much better record based solely on the talent that Underwood bring in most her songs.
