Album Listen #66: A solid rap album - although honestly not my favourite from Mr. Mathers.

Album Listen #67: I recognize artist talent in the parody of this album - but not something I would likely ever choose to listen to to relax too

Album Listen #68: Was very unique - but reminded me of an album of Cajun greatest hits that my Grandpa and younger sister used to listen to in the car all the time. Hit me in the feels.

Album Listen #69: I liked the vibe of this album - and although it didn't change my life, it was better than just being good. Never heard of them before either.

Album Listen #70: Its a funky album and there is no denying he had talent despite his extra-curricular activities. The big hits stand out - but some of the other songs are impressive.

CK reviews no one will care about. 3 albums I love...

RUSH - Moving Pictures

Easily their strongest album top to bottom. It totally deserves to be here and I had it on my list, but just couldn't pull the trigger. Quite possibly one of the best side 1's ever, when that was a thing. Tom Sawyer and YYZ on the same side, super powerful. I remember listening to the radio show Rockline sometime in the late 80's and the band was on as guests. The host asked them why they had never released a greatest hits album and without skipping a beat, Neil pipes in and says, Greatest Hits...plural? It would be the worst album ever...Tom Sawyer side 1 and Tom Sawyer side 2. That's about as humble as you can get. My favorite song by them is The Spirit of Radio, which is on the previous album, but is equally as amazing as Tom Sawyer or any of their hits.

Pixies - Surfer Rosa and Doolittle

The Boston legends, one of the most influential college/alternative bands ever. Without them there's no Nirvana...I don't think that's really true, but they invented the sonic blueprint. Surfer Rosa is my favorite out of the two, but Doolittle is the better album. I just like the songs on Surfer a little better...Bone Machine, Where is my Mind? are great...been in movies, etc. Gigantic is such a naughty song, but is well hidden unless you know. Vamos is my favorite song, because it's just bonkers...crazy guitar, nonsense lyrics and the drumbeat is intense...Doolittle is their crowning jewel. Wave of Mutilation is brilliant, with other songs like Debaser, Hey, Here Comes Your Man and Monkey Gone to Heaven...this should've been their major label debut...They released 4 albums in 4 years and then fell apart. Their shows were legendary, glad I got to see them before the breakup and during their reunion.

La Villa Strangiato, a song so difficult they had to record it in thirds. YYZ is the instrumental everyone knows, La Villa Strangiato is the instrumental that shows everyone how great they are.

Album Listen #71: Personally not the biggest fan of live albums - but going to give this one a go. I did enjoy the overall sound - although the sound of the crowd at times did take it away from me. Massive fan of Daft Punk though - so if you enjoy live albums I doubt you won't enjoy this.

Album Listen #72: I didn't hate Andrew - but I didn't really connect with the album to fall in love with it. I equally didn't particularly dislike it either. I'm curious to see what his other album are like though. Call me curious.

Album Listen #73: I didn't mind the sound - but it didn't connect with me fully. Was like a quirky yet at time depressing rocky pop sound.

Album Listen #74: There was something quite calming about this record - it had a unique sound to it and was actually quite into it.

Album Listen #75: Id state this is prebaby the best Prodigy album ever - not including Their Law [but thats invalid here lol]. Not the faint hearted though - as some of these shapes these guys are cutting might be to aggressive for those with baby ears.

I could never take The Prodigy seriously...they always made me laugh. Their music isn't horrible, it's just one of those things...just thought they were silly. A lot of bands are silly if you really think about it...
