The Rock not coming back until 2015?

- It appears that at least for right now, WWE is going with the assumption that The Rock won't be back next year as a short-term character as he has been for the past three years.

According to information given to a major licensee this past week, they were told not to produce any merchandise involving The Rock. They were told he could be used as far as a group shot of Superstars goes but not to produce anything specific because he was not going to be featured until 2015.

This was taken as a sign that The Rock is not going to do WrestleMania XXX. We still don't know if Rock has said this or not to WWE officials. It could be that an assumption was made over the call to not merchandise him individually.

Wow just when I thought I couldn't hate him anymore. He comes back on a very part time basis with his dumb catchphrases and twitter references and movie namedrops but he insists its to make WWE money and get ratings. Admittedly he did both of those things now hes not even going to work WWE's biggest WM of all time? He's something all right.

I certainly don't think he's needed, so I'm not going to waste my time getting angry at him.

However I think for some people it boils down to the fact Dwayne keeps breaking his promise of never going away again. I get he meant permanently because he was going to still make films, but damn not one appearance in 18 months? Shit. As far I'm concerned though I'm glad as WrestleManie XXX can be headlined by superstars of tomorrow instead.
