yeah supporting the NHS isn't really seen as a left or right issues over here. Just seen as a moral viewpoint

yes same in Canada, we figured that shit out a long time ago. now the argument is do we privatize part of it so the rich people can get ahead of wait times. yknow, instead of spending the money we do have wisely instead of blowing it on CEO salaries and cutting nurses etc and not paying workers enough. such a lazy ass solution that will not fix anything but im sure you guys have similar issues. theres never enough money going in and it always seems to mysteriously dissapear

healthcare is a provincial issue however here, they get money from the federal gov and it up to them how they spend it (with conditions)

the one thing that the UK really needs to do, is for Education to stop being something changed by party policy. Needs to because a separate entity.

that is correct, GOP is far right on a lot of positions. Democrats are still right of center, Americans still struggle with this because they have only 2 choices

There are far leftist candidates and some of them are popular with the younger generations and we’ll see if they catch on more to change things, but for the most part both parties are gonna steer center right because our country was founded on classical liberal principles. Before things got so divided in the last few years, the two parties could work together because at the end of the day, we had being American in common. I hope we get back there.

no one is "for" Biden. but he's still right of center if you look at his record or policy. its why most modern left leaning people wanted someone way stronger like Bernie, but the lobbyists and status quo people would never allow it, hence they used the media to dismiss him again. happens everywhere in the world, which is why i think its hillarious that people think the media pushes leftist propaganda. they just push outrage of any kind, but they still know who their masters are, and it aint us

Socialism by definition is far left. Not just in the US.

Most of whom I’m speaking of leans heavily that way.

And funnily enough as far as human rights goes, and I support those, I have roughly the same Liberal Democrat and Leftist Parties in the UK as I do in the US. I am interested in trying Canada next, too.
