like I said before, the more we talk, the more you sound like a leftist in almost everything. I really do think its just the democrats are fucking terrible and have ruined it for you lol

I mean it’s entirely possible. I was in middle school for the Clinton administration when Biden was the Senator making that bill I just mentioned.

I also think what pushes me further right was being 13-14 for 9/11. Nationalism, Individualism, Immigration all became the issues I cared about most when I became a voting adult.

It’s those issues that also spikes those tests to read so high on GOP/Conservative whether it’s US or UK. Even with the leftist social beliefs, Nationalist issues tend to push your standing farther than social stuff.

The 34% I got on the leftist parties I assume is the social stuff, and possibly welfare stuff, but being pro national defense, military spending, strict immigration shoots you all the way to the right lol

At least though I always up in the upper corner for libertarian. Never keen on authoritarian right.

In fact we need much more wealthy people to push these things n show they themselves are willing to take a small financial hit for greater gains. But thats all in theory, who knows in practice

In a different world, you could even be a staunch Labour voter if you lived in the UK.
I'm not the biggest advocate of government assistance myself as I feel over in the UK it needs massive reform.

I think I got 28% on Labor.

I also think assistance needs reform. Just not shutdown.

I do think if you’re pushing for legit socialism where you heavily tax the rich, it should start with you.

That being said, I’m a capitalist so I support his “grift.”

Immigration is where i swing most but thats also because i find most ruling parties stupid a.f . Blanket banning ppl is dumb n letting everyone in is dumb too without a plan. Im pro integtation n pro multicultaralism simulataneously, BUT i think tge laws of the land should be most important. Do wtv religion u want but u treat women , minorities lgbtq etc the way my country has decided n if you break the laws get the fuck out

That beimg said immigration integration shoukd be half personal responsibilty n half state integration. If you have happy, healthy immigrants, they will be productive n integrated

My biggest thing is just secure the border and let people in legally. I have no desire to increase limits on immigration or decide “who” gets to come, but we can’t let people sneak in between legal ports of entry. You either apply like everyone else if it’s not asylum or you seek a port of entry and legally ask for asylum. You don’t ask after being caught here illegally. I do think we can screen people from high risk countries a little more thoroughly, but not ban.

Socialism and capitalism can and have worked together imo . We have enough resources . Most logical socialists arent opposed to wealth at all, just less top heavy. In fact, both of us would be wealthier in a system i imagine. Its only insanely rich billionaires n corps that would be split up n regulated to a more reasonable level. The idea,to me is to eliminate poverty and starvation, not to remove wealth altogether. Balance

To be fair though, this happens in ever country n most policy is to be detained n deported. Yes, Canada deports ppl. I think in usa theyve also demonized illegals, yet the same party who wamts tighter borders use the most illegal labor so ... its a bogeyman they actually want n i dont think they really want to fix it, sadly. That aside yes it creates some issues with labour n some crime but really that would not be an issue if u secured the border n make immigration easier to certain countries like mexico. I do think u gotta let ppl who want a better life but i also dont disagree in doing things proper.another outside the box solution could be to help mexico get out of poverty , as then u get less migrants, but thats a hell of an undertaking fir which i would not know where to begin. Mb decrim drugs to kill the cartel market idk , im not that smart

I will say our immigration issues are very different though, we mostly get illegal entries from people that have already crossed illegally to the US lol
