Dw - I already know you think all gay people should go to hell, I won't be triggered by that viewpoint
I in no way, shape, or form think that.

As for would I support ANYTHING that is mandated by Federal law or Constitutional Amendment? Not necessarily. And I have said that. It doesn't matter what I or anyone else's opinion is on it. It matters that it is done the right way. It is the basis of our whole system in the U.S. If I don't agree with a law I can try to get it changed, encourage people to vote, inform them on the issues, etc... As long as I go about changing it the right way.

They are some who voted for Trump who actually do like him however. My aunt, uncle, and cousin actually like the mother fucker, and didn’t vote for him just because of the opponent.
I always find that reason BS anyways, Biden was nowhere near polarizing enough to vote for trump just to keep him out (imo, im sure some ppl probably do think he was that dangerous lol).

but the reality is, people who don't want to vote for either....just dont vote. thats why the majority of people dont vote at all

not to mention, with trump being the incumbant last election, you knew what you were getting when you voted for him. people just like to make excuses imo to justify voting for someone unleasant

That's the exact opposite of what I said. I said they voted for him, but not because they like him. You honestly think the people in charge of the pro-life movement actually believe the shit they say at his rally's?
and your point is that democrats don't vote for candidates they dislike? Lol dude just be saying shit for sure cause NO ONE likes Biden and his approval rating has pretty much been the same as trumps from the start lol. Both sides literally already vote for candidates they dislike and you're acting like the solution is for one to start :lol

See, I agree to an extent. Maybe not these last two elections. Trump by far was the worst choice both times. But I do if you think both are bad, but one is way way worse, you definitely vote to keep the one who’s worse out the best you can. But I can see where if both of them are about the same level of bad and you feel you’re fucked either way, I can see sitting that one out.

Well they really don't atm it just seems like it bc of the Supreme Court but that's over a decade of them manipulating that such as not allowing Obama to nominate anyone his last year. But now that the court has struck down a federal law it goes to states which will vary widely and doesn't matter who's in control of the federal government bc no new laws to replace the Supreme Court decisions will passed "the right way" as Dak would put it

I know what you are wanting me to say.

For religious reasons.

And I refuse to get dragged into a discussion about that.

I mean - you literally brought up the legal case and said you hope it is the next thing to be overturned.

You also forget I am religious myself - so I was confused why you brought it up, if you aren't personally campaigning for it to be overturned

you know what you're right. Clinton was pretty dislikable too, though some of that was proven to be legit fucked up foreign interference (Cambridge Analytica, Wiki Leaks being a Russian asset) and people , you are correct, likely voted NOT for her. I still think it's fucked to think, esp in hindsight, that Trump was a better option but we also didn't know as much. Biden is a lousy candidate for sure but man after 4 years of Trump it's still just absolutely wild to me ANYONE would be like "yes, I'm ok with this guy" . In either case, youre right, theres some nuance

And all the other news stories that have come out this year such as the trans attacks in Texas and other states are just that, state law. There's no federal law in place to protect them and it's going to hard to pass one bc no republican will vote for it due to "states rights" and a lot of democrats would probably avoid it depending on if it's an election year and what state they represent federally
