You really think the mainstream fans that buy DVD's really care about the Divas? Not at all.

The Mid-South DVD is an old school DVD collectors dream and I have a hard time thinking it won't be a success.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Not exactly. If they know the Divas DVD is just gonna be a shelf warmer, why waste their time making it?
Why put it on the list in the first place

I'm not the WWE. I don't know why they did that. They were probably contemplating it at first, then realized it most likely wouldn't sell and didn't wanna take the chance.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

I just ordered the Best of Raw and Smackdown 2012. 2012 certainly had a lot of great moments so I can't wait to relive them.

I just pre-ordered Royal Rumble 2013

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

I've picked up a few DVD's over the past couple of weeks.

I got Final Battle 2010, The Nigel McGuinness Career Retrospective, WM 13, WM 23, WM 25, The Essential Starrcade Collection, and the Royal Rumble Anthology Years 2003-2007. These have been some good additions to my collection of DVDs. I'm looking to pick up a few more WMs from Wal Mart since they are on sale, just not sure which ones yet.

As far as future releases go, I might pick up the In Your House set, but I am mostly looking forward to the War Games Collection. Also, the Triple H set being released later this year will be a definite purchase for me.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

I'm starting to collect the 2003 PPV's because of the binding. I have 6 out of 12.

I'm becoming wary of the War Games DVD. With the WWE's current stance on blood and choking, there could be some huge edits.

Never thought about that, but I really hope they don't fuck with it. War Games was one of my favorite concept matches, I'd hate for WWE to butcher the DVD I am looking forward to most this year. Then again, wouldn't be the first time.

Also, I noticed a funny little caveat on my Royal Rumble Anthology. The year Benoit won it (04), the ppv rundown sheet on the inside is a duplicate of another year, leaving 2004 with no stat sheet. Might be accidental, but I doubt it lol.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Which six do you have? Where are you getting them from?

Royal Rumble, WtestleMania XIX, Backlash, Judgement Day, No Mercy, and Survivor Series. I'm getting them from eBay.

WWE doesn't edit anything on their DVDs.
