Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Alright I'm bidding on Rock's most recent DVD. It ends in 1 hour 37 minutes. Hoping I win.

Not shocked. I'm sure there weren't a lot of people bidding on it. Congrats.

The feeling of winning a bid sure is great. On a threat related note, my first winning bid on Ebay was for Punk: The Final Chapter.

I guess it depends on how much Inferno's bid was to decide whether it should be exciting or not. If he paid for more then 10 dollars, it's not even worth a thumbs up.

Decent show, but a little underwhelming. The amazing shows from May and the initial craze of the Summer of Punk were both done by then. Meanwhile, Dragon's title reign hadn't begun yet. So it's somewhat of an uneventful period for ROH.

Sorry, that's not thumbs up worthy especially when you can pick up an used copy on Amazon for four bucks cheaper. :(

I don't want a used copy. I got it brand new.

To be honest, with how new the DVD is, an used copy could be just as good.

Was this a Blu-Ray btw? If so, paying 10 bucks would be a hell of a deal. I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray on Amazon and paid seventeen bucks for it.

Yeah, the show was ok. Punk's farewell, Spanky's heel turn, Hardy's last ROH match too I believe? Punk/Cabana wasn't the best or anything but just the moment is cool to own.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Yeah, it was Matt's last match with ROH during that run. He had already returned to WWE TV by that point.

Punk vs Cabana was really good if you just allowed yourself to be sucked into the emotion of Punk's last match without focusing on the fact that they ignored the entire backstory of Punk's heel turn causing wrestlers to get pissed off at Cabana.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

I've been ordering used Blu-Ray's from GoHastings and they've been in excellent condition. I have no problems buying used as long as it's from a trusted site like Amazon or GoHastings.

If it was a blu-ray, I would have told you. It was a DVD but I like getting everything brand new.
