My History of the Intercontinental Championship DVD Index

Instead of the half-baked Best Of IC Title DVD, the IC Title should be deserving to be shown it glamourous legacy in DVD form.

To me, the IC title is just a prestigeous as the WWE Title. I mean look at it, when you have huge names like "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Mr. Perfect, The British Bulldog and Owen Hart all hold the IC title but never WWE Title, thats saying something.

Anyway like The History of The WWE Championship DVD, the IC Title should also be allowed a DVD of such quality, and these are the matches that should grace it.;

Disk 1

1. Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine v Tito Santana – Steel Cage Match

7. Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart v The British Bulldog
Summerslam – August 19, 1992

8. The British Bulldog v Shawn Michaels
Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXI – October 27, 1992

9. Shawn Michaels v Marty Jannetty

I think the Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian (Survivor Series) match should also be there.

Your 2nd disc is way to small compared to the other 2. and there is a lot of non PPV matches im sure they would add. christian VS RVD ladder match on raw for one. maybe some of the jeff hardy vs john morison matches. shelton benjamin vs RVD vs ric flair from raw. Benjamin vs christian from cyber sunday. benjamin cs jericho. benjamin vs RVD.

My WrestleMania DVD Story.

Ever since I started watching wresting, my first Mania I saw was X8, and loved it, but ever since then WM21 takes the cake for the best one, so a couple weeks ago I decided to pick it up on DVD, really enjoyed it. Then last week I saw WM22 on sale at FYE for 19.99, so I picked it up since it was from Chicago and it was pretty good. At the same FYE, I almost shit my pants because I found a used WM X-Seven DVD with a stick that said 19.99 on sale. I was like holy crap! A WWF DVD? So I go pay for it, but the cashier says used DVD's don't go on sale and the normal price was...39.99, I was definitely like WTF! I go home and look it up on Amazon and found it for like 36, but at the same time I found myself buying X8, XIX, and XX on DVD, so now I got these Mania DVD's coming in, eventhough I probably didn't need them it's great hype for WrestleMania week, I am going to watch one a night leading up to Mania, get me in the mood...

thnx for listening :)

BTW Peeps, brilliant Rock cover, I am picking that up for sure

In the middle of my No Way Out 2008 "downloaded" DVD. Quite a decent show so far.

Yeah, old WWF PPVs are very rare to find in stores. I got my copy of WM 17 from ebay for like 31 bucks a couple years ago. Amazing PPV by the way. One of the best ever imo.

^^^ That's crazy, you can still buy loads of the old PPVs new in the UK.

Ebay's the best bet though.... Cheap as ya like compared to the £25-30 most PPVs cost on DVD here.

@ The Rock DVD: Meehhh!!! I'd watch a docu which would no doubt be highly entertaining, but a multi-disc compilation of his matches would bore me to tears after one or two..... Is it just me?

I've only started watching wrestling in 2002, so are there any PPVs that I should watch?

I'm downloading Royal Rumble 1989, and a few Raws and Smackdowns from 2000-2002.

9 & 11 are a bit weak but otherwise, I'd recommend at least checking out all the rest of the WMs and then whatever Royal Rumbles, Survivor Series' & Summerslams you can as they're usually the strongest events of the year....
