You know at first I hated the entire concept mainly cause I knew the only reason it was being rebooted was to keep the rights. In my opinion the best way is the bond way replace the star carry on with the story. But they seem to be doing this the right way for a reboot amazing cast keeping him in high school for at least a little while. It may have legs.

The movie will be worth a look simply because Toby McGuire isn't playing Spider-Man, which is kinda like getting Michael Cera to play Deadpool, but I'm not expecting much seeing as the budget is considerably lower for this project.

Not much interest in Spiderman at all for me anymore. IDK how many movies they've done but I no longer find them entertaining or something I MUST watch.

Don't think the revenue for this will be any good either as people will be waiting for TDKR just 2 or so weeks later.

Toby MacGuire was getting a lot of criticism for his portrayal of Peter Parker/Spiderman. People just weren't into it, and the movies were really far too kid friendly, if you look at the comic books, they are fairly dark at times.

Lawl, the director is Marc Webb and the writer, if I'm correct, is James Vanderbilt, but nice job with this thread! This movie looks spectacular. However, I wonder if it's going to do well at the box office considering the fact that it comes out around two weeks before The Dark Knight Rises. Everything looks good though and the story is pretty sweet.

I saw the trailer when I watch "The Avengers" and it looks interesting. The guy who plays Spiderman seems to fit the character and the action scenes are awesome. Can't wait to see this movie.

Movie opens this week, and honestly looking forward to it. Series need another reboot, hopefully it follows in the footsteps of the latest Batman films and brings it.

Garfield is a great talent as well as his overlooked Social Network performance (his was the best of the acting in the film) he was also good in Never Let Me Go. He is a fine choice to fresner up the Spiderman role, still I don't have high hopes for the film.
