Match: Brodie Lee vs. Michael Elgin

Promotion: C*4 Wrestling.

Rating: 3.5/5

Comment: I loved these two men, and I loved this match. They were slugging out in the early minutes of the match, but as the match progressed, it turned into an all out brawl, and I absolutely enjoyed it. Shame the timeskeeper fucked up twice lol.

Rhod's count: 17
Match: Kyle O'Reilly vs Davey Richards.
Show: Unknown
Promotion: ROH
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment: YET OKAY?! Another match from this two? Hell yes. However, this match wasnt as good as the previous ones I watched. Kyle has improved a lot since this show (2011). Another technical match, Davey cut a promo to put Kyle a little bit over. Split crowd, very active. Weird ending though. His trainer or whover he is throwing the towel. Okay.

Match: Shibata vs Davey Boy Smith Jr, G1 Climax 2013 night 1
Promotion: New Japan
Rating: 3.9
Comment: This was the start of what ended up being an insanely solid run for both these guys in the G1 Climax. Smith is a completely different player compared to when he was in the WWE. So much style and so much beastiness just reeking off of him. And Shibata is one of the ultimate "I am a wrestler who looks like I do MMA" style wrestlers with insane kicks and punches. It was a story of submission wrestling a the start but then went into Shibata trying to get Smith in a submission and Smith trying to overpower him, only for them to end up countering each others moves. Solid match.

Match: Minoru Suzuki vs Yuji Nagata, G1 CLimax 2013 night 1
Promotion: New Japaan
Rating: 4
Comment: Jesus this one was a cool one. This was a match between two veterans. Suzuki and Nagata are established old timers still going strong so don't expect a high tempo match from these two. There were some moments of high tempo explosiveness but both these guys have developed more grounded, methodical styles to keep them going at a high level of quality. This was a submission heavy match with Suzuki working over Nagata's leg with some stiff strikes thrown in. Add to it that Suzuki is da fucking bomb and has the best mannerisms in Japan possibly and you get a hoot of a match.

Match: Davey Richards vs Cedric Alexander
Promotion: ROH
Event: Live and let die
Rating: 4/5
Comment: This was a very good encounter and was better then i expected as i have not seen many Alexander singles matches. Both men have pretty good chemistry and Alexander comes out of the match looking a star. He looked so strong in this match and pulled out some good moves such as a reserve Frankensteiner. Really fast paced match and the crowd were really into it plus Steve Corino was on commentary for this match and is absolute gold.

Match: Adam Cole vs Caprice Coleman
Promotion: ROH
Event: Live and let die
Rating: 2.5/5
Comment: Really nothing special here and it was really short like 8 minutes. The one good moment in the match was when Coleman had his back to the rope and done a amazing springboard dive onto the outside. Really routine match and not much to write about.

Match: Monster Mafia (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) vs Runaways
Promotion: RCW
Rating: 2
Comment: This match was bad, but not in any way because of the mafia. I am a fan of both Alexander and Page and they did all they they were supposed to do in the match well. The other team were obviously nowhere near as experienced or polished as the mafia and the ref was also very green. And their constant fuckups took away what could have been a good match. The other team had some flashes of promise but I cannot go over a 2.

Match: High Speed title match- Natsuki Taiyo(c) vs Kaori Yoneyama
Promotion: Stardom
Event: Grown up stars
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment: This one started really fast paced and had some nice exchanges, some great chain wrestling and great athleticism. It slowed down in the middle portion of the match and was a bit boring but the last five minutes of the match were awesome, some great nearfalls and was fast paced as both women tried to get the win. Their is a nice counter when Tayio is going for a powerbomb but Yoneyama counters it with a Canadian destroyer. Tayio does some great highflying in this match. This probably would of been a 4 if it was not so long and the middle part of the match had been not so dull. Still a pretty good Joshi match.

Match: Tony Nese vs Jon Davis. Evolve 8, Styles Battle
Promotion: Evolve
Rating: 3
Comment: Decent match up between these two, not the longest match but okay for the time given and neither guy going full on out. This is Nese just after TNA dropped him and he doesn't have the premier athlete gimmick going yet but he still gets a nice reaction. And Davis despite having a very boring theme song and not much character at this moment is still surprisingly over. Since this is styles battle both men worked a certain style, Nese doing the "standing combat style" so he did a lot of kicks and punches and Davis the "powerhouse style". So this match became Davis trying to overpower Nese and Nese trying to beat Davis into submission with heavy strikes. There were some hints of Nese's acrobatic skills towards the end but it was obvious that he was holding out on those moves to sell the concept of the tournament. Neither guy went full on out (which is understandable with it being the second match on the card, no need to go overboard just yet) but it was a decent match. Nothing breathtaking, but not bad either.

Match: IWGP JR Heavyweight title match-Prince Devitt(c) vs Low KI vs Kota Ibushi
Promotion: NJPW
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment: I seemed to like this match more when i first saw it. It bored me slightly on the rewatch felt too slow at times and was not as memorable as i remembered. Ibushi is the best thing in the match, he does a amazing spinning springboard dive.

Is this the one where Low Ki was dressed as Agent 47?

Also, Sorry for being Inactive on this....I Haven't had time to write up some reviews.
Is cool bro. You have contributed and you just need to catch up (one or two events should do). There are others who are lagging behind massively.
