Match: Corey Hollis vs Chivas Kid
Promotion: PWX
Event: Rise of champions VIII
Rating: 3.5
Comment: This was a nice little match that had some great chain wrestling at the start. Hollis is the more all rounder and Chivas Kid provided some nice aerial moves in this match. Kid done a nice springboard shooting star press into the ring while on the ramp. Hollis impressed me the most with his moves but both guys are talented.

Match: Adam Cole vs Sami Callahan
Promotion: Evolve
Event: Rise or fall
Rating: 3/5
Comment: This is the opening contest of the third ever Evolve event and is a really solid match. They worked very well together considering the short time they had and there was some great counters in this match such as Callahan countering a diving dropkick in to sitout powerbomb.

Match: Kenny Omega vs YOSHIHIKO (Inflatable Doll)
Promotion: DDT
Date: Unknown
Rating: 3/5
Comment: NOW THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT. You have a Inflatable Doll, who's moves and punches are done by it's opponent, it's tag partners or the ref against Omega. YOSHIHIKO Pulled off a Long Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors..He Stole Hulk Hogans Finisher and Did Petey William’s Finisher Three times...Omega also got in a lot of moves and this match is just one for any fan of Comedy Wrestling....YOSHIHIKO Is the Best Wrestler to grace the ring. Looks Like I Have a New Fav Promotion is DDT...5 more Matches from them I guess.

Match: Kyle O'Reilly vs Davey Richards. Is your body Ready?
Promotion: PWG
Rating: 4/5
Comment: O'Reilly just gets better and better every time I see him. his match had a lot of technical wrestling up front. They didn't resort to a ton of dives and other craziness. They rapid move flurries were what one expects from top caliber indie workers. Richards and O'Reilly put together a great match and executed it

Match: CM Punk vs Colt Cabana
Promotion: FWA
Date: October 18
th
2003
Rating: 4.5/5
Comment: This match showcased Punk and Cabana's abilities against eachother. The match contained a lot of Chained Wrestling, Technical moves and Cabana Moments. One of these Moments was when Cabana gave punk 3 chances to knock him down in which on the 3
rd
try Cabana tripped Punk up. This match was a Nice way to introduce Punk and Cabana in FWA.

Next Up is my 2 from Friday then Todays....

Hes awesome.
He has an issue with ring psychology (he has a problem with putting together believable matches at times). He's a good almost great wrestler. But he needs to get better at building a match from start to finish in my opinion.

He's gotten better, but there was a time when he put together ridiculous matches. Getting up from superplexes without problem etc. 2013 Kyle is a major improvement.

Match: Paul London vs Kevin Steen from All Star Weekend 9, night 1.
Promotion: PWG
Rating: 4
Comment: This was a good show opener. It was London's first PWG match in forever and it was a nice welcome back for him. The first 9 minutes were comedy based with London trying to overpower Steen and challenge him to a duel. Then the pace picked up and it became a bigger man vs smaller man match, with Steen trying to ground London so he could overpower him. Fun 20 or so minute jaunt and a very good return for London. When London is in top gear he really is in top gear.

Match: Young Bucks vs smurfs in Paris (Johnny Gargano & Liberian dictator Chuckie Taylor.) All Star Weekend 9 night 1
Promotion: PWG
Rating: 4.5
Comment: This was a great tag team match Young Bucks is one of the best teams out there and Gargano and Taylor have worked together for years and have great chemistry. Once the pre match shenanigans were done for this match went off at a great jr heavyweight pace. Lots of false finishes, good spots with good pacing so it didn't just become a spotfest. Fun match but falls just short of a 5 star rating from me (I am trying to be very selective with those.)

Match: Brodie Lee vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Promotion: CHIKARA

Rating: 3/5

Comment: This was a decent big man brawl, I liked the antics at the beginning from both men, and the match was alright. Nothing too special, but not bad.

Match: Tomohiro Ishii vs Lance Archer, G1 Climax 2013 night 1
Promotion: New Japan
Rating: 4
Comment: This was a good match. Archer is a monster and his already impressive height is only enhanced by working with Japanese wrestlers who in general are smaller. And Ishii is his own special brand of underdog, talking shit whilst taking a beating. Both these guys are good wrestlers and the exchanges were crisp and slightly stiff from time to time. And they played on the size difference very well. I recommend this match.
